(Megan not Julie). I got these done a week and a half ago and they still look brand new. I always love coming here to get my nails done. Holly is the best and exactly copies any design I ask her to do. The best part about this salon is that the nails last about a month! 10/10 people and nail techs!

For my wedding party, I choose to use 5star for all of our mani/pedi and waxing needs. They were absolutely amazing and professional. We had called a week prior and requested their services for two days before my wedding. When we arrived they had balloons, hand picked flowers and even champagne for me to pop open! It was one of the best experiences I had during my wedding week. I wasn’t sure on what kind of nails to get as the bride but they were right on it! I trusted their judgment and am so glad I did! Use them for your wedding party because you WON’T be disappointed. They handled my group like a champ. Everyone highly enjoyed themselves.

Got my nails redone today and one already chipped! I went in yesterday for the first time and left very disappointed and unhappy. The polish was clumpy and on my skin and had chipping too. I called this morning and asked for my money back and they said no that they can re do them perfectly. I went back today and this is what I got. Do not recommend this place!

The employees were so kind and helpful! They all wished me happy birthday and made sure to make the visit as welcoming as possible. My nails are a blue and purple metallic and they couldn’t have done a better job. 10/10 recommend!

I was not expecting to be asked to move for people who came in after i was already feet in water and relaxed. I then got put in a tub not yet filled with water before my pedicure started. It was one of the quickest services Ive received and the massage could definitely have been better. I have not had this experience here before but for the price its not worth my time again.

Holly did the most beautiful ombré SNS (dip powder) nails for me today!! Not only were they better than the Pinterest picture I showed her, but I thoroughly enjoyed her sweet personality, gentle demeanor, and continued attention on my experience the whole time. 5 star nails and service all the way!!!

Just left 5 Star Nails with the best experience! I was worried that there would be a long wait because we heard great things, but was able to get in right away. Holly did an amazing job on my daughters nails. She was so accommodating to her unique color request and I think it’s honestly the best manicure she’s ever had. Conversation was easy and she made us feel super comfortable. I cannot say enough about how awesome Holly was and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to my closest friends.

I don’t get my nails done often, but when I do I stop by this location. I always enjoy myself and love my nails! My most recent visit Luo did a wonderful job with my pedicure and Reina was amazing with my manicure. I love this nail salon and highly recommend.

They do a good job on toes but I wouldnt recommend due to the fact their not honest with with their prices. They charge me $55 dollars for my five year old daughter to get just her toes painted but in the price book it said $20 yesterday was my first and last time going there

HOLLY WAS AMAZING! I have never been able to say that my nails are absolutely perfect but with her, now I can. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. This nail salon is always so clean and everyone is super nice!

I took an elderly woman that I care for to 5 Star Nails for a simple toenail clipping. They gave her an ingrown toenail and cut so low in the middle of her big toe that it bled. The staff had an incredibly poor attitude and were not willing to acknowledge that they had done this to her and were unwilling refund her payment. Previous owners knowing the previous owners, I feel confident they would have handled this situation much more positively. Incredibly disappointed with Five Star Nails.

I got my nails done here for my wedding with some of my bridesmaids and we had an amazing time! The atmosphere was great for myself and the 4 girls I brought with me, they made us all feel comfortable and totally treated us well (even running next door for another bottle of champagne when our own supply ran short!). And my nails looked INCREDIBLE. Holly did my fingernails off of a few random photos I’d pulled off the internet (none of which were exactly what I wanted) and she did an even better job than I could’ve imagined! They also held up for the wedding and then my two-week honeymoon in/out of the ocean, sand, forests, too! Highly highly recommend!

I was a walk-in and was taken to a chair right away. ALL staff were very attentive and friendly. Chairs are amazing with multiple massage options ans heat. Most relaxed Ive been in a nail salon. Highly recommend!

I had my nails done yesterday by Tony and Im so pleased. I was passing by, but getting ready for a very important job interview, so decided to have my nails done for an extra boost of confidence (and good luck!) I was nervous about going in any type of salon because of the pandemic, but everything was very sanitary and space kept between everyone. I had a very nice time chatting with Tony and my gel manicure is beautiful. And I got the job! So 5 Star is my new good luck charm! Thank you so much and see you again soon!

I went to 5 Star Nails for the first time yesterday and my experience with Holly was nothing short of 5 stars. From the moment I sat down in the most amazing pedicure chair, Holly made me feel right at home. Great conversation and extreme attention to detail. Holly worked her magic and even made my toenail thats partially missing, look fabulous. After the pedicure, I had my nails done and was again blown away by the care and finesse that Holly provided. I will definitely be back!!

Great prices, but awful quality. 100% will never return. I got a mani/pedi TWO days ago and had 4 chipped nails and the polish came completely off of a toe the following day. RIDICULOUS. All I did was go on a bike ride so no I wasnt being rough on my nails.

Such a great place and really good at different services. Been going here since last year. My mom started going and have really liked them. My mom got her nails taken off though the other day and she still had a little acyrlic left on. Other than that I would definitely recommend going here and they are reasonable too.

The man I had was very rude shaking his head talking to me like I was slow and was very rude. He dug so hard at my nails they were all bleeding. He told me he wouldn’t do my nails how I wanted and was all around very rude. I will not be coming back anytime soon

So disappointed with the way I was treated at this salon today. I went in for a pedicure, and was pressured to choose a higher priced “fancy” pedicure. When I insisted on just a basic pedicure the technician got really rude and rushed through a 10 minute, very sloppy job. When I told her that I wasn’t happy, she replied “Well, you said that you just wanted the basic pedicure.” In other words, that’s what you get. I always pay around $25 for pedicures that are relaxing and done beautifully and was shocked that she felt like I didn’t deserve a good job because it wasn’t expensive enough! I started to get upset and the owner came over. When I showed her my nails she offered to fix them. She apologized and repainted them, but I left feeling awful. I will not return to this salon, and I hope that they don’t make a habit of treating their customers this way.

Absolutely amazing. They squeezed me and my mom in on a busy Sunday afternoon. Very nice and inviting atmosphere, high quality nails at a reasonable price (my mom got a gel set and pedicure also with gel polish, I got an SNS set all for around $100). Will definitely be returning!!!

As friend of mine and I were passing through Wilmington, going on a wild goose chase for coffee on a Sunday morning, we decided to get pedicures. So we of course turn to Google for the closest place that was open at 11am. The Google Gods recommended 5 Star Nails. We were warmly greeted, directed to choose our color right away, and sat in our pedicure chairs. When I say these chairs were like NO OTHER!!! These were state of the art high quality chairs that massaged you down to your fingertips. The technicians were very friendly, and very thorough. Her massage techniques were fantastic and she took her time to pay attention to all the details. I highly recommend 5 Star Nails and the fantastic staff. I’m strongly considering making the 1 hour trip here a monthly occasion. Thank you so much 5 Star Nails!!!

BEST NAIL SALON IN WILMINGTON!!!! This place has been my go to for years, they have these super expensive high end massage chairs. I always get the deluxe pedicure and they massage your legs for an hour or more! Tony is amazing, he takes his time and does the best job. Makes me feel like a princess 👸

I walked in without an appointment and they got me in immediately. Great color selection and nice massage chairs. Charlie did my pedicure(basic pedi 25$) and did a great job. Very nice and professional. Another gentleman did my nails (full set taken off 10$ and replaced with gel.) He got my full set off without hurting me or damaging my nails more than the acrylic already does. He was quick but thorough and friendly. I really like the salon and staff and will be coming back.

I came here for a gel manicure, no appointment, was able to just walk in and didnt even have to wait. Everyone was very nice . I am very pleased with the final look and the hand and arm massage at the end was wonderful.All in all, it was a great french gel manicure, only $36, and it lasted for over two weeks. So worth it.

I called wanting to make an appointment for Friday afternoon, as early as possible, and was told 4:30pm worked best for my manicure and pedicure. I didn’t choose that time, they did so I thought my appointment would be honored. I got to the place 5 minutes early to be polite and picked my color but after waiting until 5pm I decided to leave (35 mins). While I was waiting multiple women began getting their nails done, which I could’ve gotten done first if someone was available. In addition to the wait time, I was offered a drink but it was never brought it to me & they also sat me in a pedicure chair that didn’t have the sanitary cover in it (where I waited the 30 mins).

I’m from Texas since I travel all the time and needed my nails done I came to this place they are so nice so professional and if I’m ever back in this area I would definitely go back.

First time trying this place and it was lovely. Got a deluxe pedicure for 35 and Im telling you this lady massaged my legs for 30 minutes. Much better than the place I had been going before. Fair prices, I will definitely be back.
