Came to A+ Nails after hearing great things for a quick fill in of my almond shape acrylics…$60 later…I requested a simple french tip in a blue color of my already almond shape nails and a simple fill in. Wouldve paid MAYBE $40 anywhere else in Wilmington for a job 20x better than this. Unfortunately, my regular nail tech at a different salon was unavailable.Made an appointment and was told on the phone that my fill in would be $38. After getting a job I was unhappy with - you could clearly see where the nail was filled since the tech used a completely different base color than what I had, the french “design” was uneven, and the gel polish was already chipping - I was given a bill with random and unnecessary charges (special design, special shape, etc.)So, I called back that evening after realizing they were not up to par and was told I could come back in the morning to get them fixed. Several mistakes were made again….1) I was given the same tech that messed up my nails.2) I was talked down to by the woman at the front desk after I questioned why I was charged so much for the shape/design and being told a different price over the phone.3) I was practically scolded by my nail tech that I “should’ve reminded her what to do” (i.e. make the base color more neutral). Ummm…thought that was customary. After all, I am the customer and you are the nail tech.After such inconvenience and hassle, NO discounts or compensation was given. Not to mention that my friend who asked for a simple design as well to her already coffin shaped nails was charged OVER $70 for a fill-in. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. And after less than a week, my nails are already chipping and lifting and look horrendous. Lesson learned. Would never recommend coming here.

Lina was awesome! It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten the attention I got from a pedicure! She was polite, asked what I wanted, checked that I was happy several times during pedicure and went above and beyond to do it the way that satisfied me! I will be back!

I had amazing gel pedicure from Ivy. I typically don’t like a foot massage with my pedis but oh my goodness, the foot massage was amazing. I almost feel asleep. My toes look so good too. Great gel pedicure. I don’t live in the area but this my second time getting services while visiting the area and both times were fantastic.

Will not be returning, and I do not recommend. I visited A+ Nails three times. My first experience was fine. The second time I visited, I arrived 2 hours before closing on a Sunday - was notified the wait would be 45 minutes & agreed to wait. 25 minutes into the wait I was asked to come back the next day. My third visit I schedule an appointment at 11:15 for pedicure & manicure on a Saturday (never even asked my name) when I arrived I was told to pick my color & have a seat. A nail tech wasnt available to start my nails until 12:22 (over an hour wait), once my nails were done I was told it would be another 30 min wait for a pedicure. All the nail techs Ive had did a great job - but I dont recommend going here unless you have 3-4 hours to waste. For this business I would recommend using a scheduling system, better organization & making sure nail techs are available for schedule appointments.

It was my first visit to this salon last Thursday and they did Not disappoint! I started with a deluxe pedicure and the massage felt amazing. The woman cared for my feet and took care of problem areas without hurting me. My acrylic fill was next and the lady was quick but detailed and they look as natural as you can get with acrylics. My nails and toes look fabulous! 🙌 Last, I got a mini shoulder/neck massage. I thought it would just be a relaxing massage to help relieve some stress... oh no, this woman went deep tissue and got into stiff muscles like no other! Im actually still a little sore 🙃 This is actually a good thing. If you get regular messages you will be as impressed as I was that for under $20 you can get such a high quality massage from a nail salon!

My friends and I went here today and the service was amazing! The staff were friendly. Ivy & Rose took care of us and made sure we left happy. One of my friends got the pride colors and I wanted to be basic for the day. But i got the gel mani and pedi. I was very pleased and will definitely be coming back!

I used to love A+ nails. Rose has given me the best pedicures in Wilmington for over a year. I was so upset when I found out that she was no longer working there! I called just about every nail salon in Wilmington until I found her at LA NAILS in Ogden! I am so happy to have found my feet’s favorite hands🥰

I had my first experience with A+ Nails today. My first impression of the atmosphere was appealing and relaxing. Although they were busy my aunt and I didnt have to wait too long. The staff was very accommodating and they even had complimentary beverages and ice cream. They have an easy to read sheet of their services with prices and it stated of how they dispose of single use items after each use which I greatly appreciate. Pricing was also reasonable. May the nail tech took great care of me. The best service I have ever had at any nail salon hands down (pun intended). She was just fabulous. I could go on and on about how great she was. She was extremely thorough and detailed. I had not had my nails done in a long time and they were not in the best shape but she made my hands and feet look amazing. She did not rush and took her time. I have no complaints and I highly recommend this salon as well as May! I will continue to come here from now on. No where else I have been compares.

The nail salon was able to get my group of 4 in in almost no time, we called ahead and had an appointment 45 minutes later! The staff was phenomenal. Very professional and created a comfortable environment. I showed my manicurist a picture of what I wanted and he did better than the picture!! When one of the polishes I had picked out wasn’t exactly what I had wanted, he tracked down one that better matched what I had in mind in no time. 10/10 recommend and the price of services is way less than I had expected for the results I received.

Updated: today I went and had a pedicure with Jessica. Planned to get the regular, got talked into the Deluxe and it was such a nice treat! Jessica is a newbie. Shes been here for 1 month, has three grown kids, and is back working after being a stay at home mom for a very long time. Im incredibly thankful she took her time, was very kind, and very genuine in her conversations. Lately its difficult to meet genuine individuals and I am very appreciative for that.. it was a pleasure meeting her and visiting.First time here with my friend who has been previously. Wonderful experience. Pedicure was very relaxing and great quality. Ly did an excellent job and was very sweet. ***edit... I returned to this spot today, Feb 26th. I had Ly once again for a very relaxing pedicure. Linn did my nails and is very efficient, she does excellent work. I was treated with kindness and respect the entire time. Excellent and professional staff. I have been to ALL the places around. I will be a repeat customer.

I am always satisfied with the job they do on my nails and have never walked away dissatisfied. Their massage chairs are so relaxing and they even offer beverages/snacks. Moved to Wilmington one year ago. Tried five different nail salons, until I found A+ nails. I have gotten my nails done by about six people in the salon and they were all great. The staff is very friendly, and the salon is VERY clean. I highly recommend it.

I went in for fresh acrylic with nail designs the 17th of February with Minh. 3 nails ended up cracking 2 days later. I went back the 22nd and Linh had to remove all my designs and redo 3 nails. I was charged an additional $10 to fix the work and they did not redo my nail design. Today the 24th yet another nail has cracked. I am usually very content with the acrylic work but this time has left much to be desired. I’ve already spent about $200 (tips included) for this set and this is ridiculous! I didn’t even get my design redone which I paid for and would have gladly kept for the 2 weeks had the nails not cracked and broken. I will update this post once I talk to the salon to see how the can correct this issue, but as of now I can only give them two stars and that’s honestly being nice.Update 3/12/2021: Duy saved the day! However he did not replace the acrylic. He removed them and place gel tip nails. Not my preference but it did the job.Hopefully when I return we can figure something out. The most agitating $200 but looking forward to my next appt with Duy.

My husband and I went today for our first time. We had B and Rose and really loved our experience. It was my husband’s first pedicure and he’s already excited about going back. I haven’t had a ton of pedicures, but it was definitely the best I have had. I would highly recommend.

I have been to several nail salons in Wilmington in the past, but since Ive found A+ Nails, Im a loyal customer. The salon is very clean, quick to get you in a seat, very courteous and customer friendly, and a great atmosphere. Ive been very fortunate to have Linh do fill-ins and full sets for my nails on several occasions! She always listens to my preferences and helps me choose the perfect color, shape and length. Don also did an amazing job on my pedicure!

During pedicure, nail/cuticle was cut too short on each big toe. Both toes because infected and sore. Manicure was very good but a pedicure should not hurt, during or afterwards.
