I waited for a pedi in the chair with no water. I was never told to pick a color out. Showed the girl what I wanted on my phoneBut saw everybody else was getting polish colors to look at. I left and polish came off it was dry polish like that polish was old. I had been here b4 and loved the service prob wont go back.

I’ve been going here for several months and have had a consistently good, not great, experience. The salon is clean and the massage chairs are great. I only go for pedicures usually, but as with any nail place I’ve been to, how good a pedicure it is depends mostly on which technician you get. Some are great, some just ok. Generally, try for one of the older ones. Or the one with the (sometimes) crazy shoes. The younger guys aren’t great.

Last visit the tech sliced my daughters finger open (not looking at what he was doing and talking to another tech).This visit, my face was burned (over my lip in 2 places and over my brow in one other area) from waxing. Once I realized that I had burn marks I went back to show them and ask for something to relieve the burn and they put neosporin on the burned areas and told me that maybe the wax was too hot. Im certain I will have 3 scabs.😣

I so wanted to like this place. Its very nice and new. Also, its very convenient for me. Ive been three times for pedicures. The first two were fine, not great, but fine. The third time I went. I was injured. While using a scraper, the nail tech wasnt watching what he was doing. He was chatting with another nail tech and looking around laughing. He was very rough, something my feet are not. He scraped a chunk out of the the big toe on my left foot. It hurt. I pulled my foot back and noticed how bad I was bleeding. He was unfazed until I let him know that this was not okay. He tried to help with peroxide and a bandage. It was a waste. I was done. The man who seemed to be in charge also did not seem interested. I walked out still bleeding. I had to wear a bandage for a week. I wont go back.

I went to Star Nails for the first time today and couldnt have been more pleased with my experience! I was so shocked to learn they had been open for 18 months-ish, because the space and all equipment is immaculate (it looks like it just opened this week, so clean!) Maria took care of me- she was so professional, sweet, and attentive. In fact, everyone who was working seemed to have the same work ethic and kind attitude- everyone who walked in was greated immediately, offered cold water, and brought to the appropriate place for their service. Im so happy I had the opportunity to experience Star Nails today, and cant wait to go back!

I enjoy going here for a pedicure. Folks there are friendly, take their time with each customer to assure a great experience for the customer. Its clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it, and they have gift cards!

All the nail polish came off after a day. and the acrylics were done poorly. one of my acrylics was crooked. they made the length too long on my other acrylics. one of the lady’s ripped my nail off after she messed up with no warning.

They were very nice, did a great job!

As always, a wonderful experience and my toes are happy!

Every one here is polite, accommodating and 1st rate professionally. Everything is very, very clean. I really like the folks at Star. My go to for sure.

This is a new business near our boat so after noticing it along my way between Greenville Loop Rd. and Oleander Dr., Wilmington, I had to try it. I am totally honest when I say it was a 5-Star experience The owner and the others here were incredibly kind, accommodating, and my pedicure is perfect. I cannot wait to return for the manicure technique I’ve been using for 3 months now: SNS/Kiara Sky nails(dipping them into lightweight powder), lasts longer & is healthier than other types of gel/tips/but they do all of these plus acrylics. Call ahead for personal time. If you are at the beach & looking for a one-time visit or like me, discovering a new “home salon” for pedicures & manicures, I highly recommend Star ⭐️! (The pedicure massage chairs are the best I’ve ever sat in, brand new), the whole place is clean & hygiene the best, with new, clean bottles of the top products, all organized by product types together - no hunting around!- and by color. Every person made sure I had what I needed and no one made me feel like an outsider.

My sister and I walked in and everyone just stared at us and then kept on working! No one ever greeted us at all so we eventually just walked out after standing there for 5 min. There are too many salons around here to waste time in one that doesn’t appreciate new customers! We won’t be going back!
