I cannot thank the employees of Sanctuary Spa enough. I was tasked with organizing a spa day for a Bachelorette party and could not find a single place to accommodate all of us with a budget in mind. Even through a chaotic scheduling, their team was able to figure it all out to where everyone in my group was exceptionally pleased. All of the ladies raved about their services, atmosphere and prices. A special thank you for allowing us to bring in mimosas that amplified our already amazing experience. I have been getting pedicures at Sanctuary Spa recently and have only had good service and polite employees who really perform like they care for the clients comfort. Ive been a customer of The Sanctuary Spa for many years, and I reviewed them over on Yelp a long time ago (and I still stand by it). But I figured it was time for an updated review now that its September 2020 and were in the middle of a pandemic.When the pandemic started, I purchased a gift certificate because I wanted to support this business, plus I also used that gift certificate as a thing to look forward to, and as a thing to give me hope that the world would eventually, slowly come back to some semblance of normalcy. I take this pandemic very seriously since my parents are both in a high-risk category and I am their caregiver at times... so I have been super-cautious (perhaps even overcautious) since mid-March.About a month ago, I received a phone call from the spa to tell us that they were now open at a limited capacity, and they wanted to answer any questions we might have about how they keep spa services safe in the time of Covid. I was really impressed by that.I reviewed their updated website carefully and spoke to the scheduler about their safety measures too, and my beau and I decided we were ready to give massages a try.The Sanctuarys facility has always been immaculate, and now during Covid it felt very, very safe. There were new procedures in place in terms of capcity, social distancing, masks, waiting areas, hand washing, etc. that worked very well and struck that perfect balance of being very effective but without adding stress (spas are supposed to help you relax, after all!). All of the employees wore masks, explained everything very thoroughly and in a friendly, common-sense way, and upheld the highest levels of cleanliness. I felt completely safe.My massage with Patricia was decadent, effective, relaxing, and wonderful as always, and I really did forget my cares for 75 minutes. She uses the perfect pressure and checks in the exact-right amount. We both wore masks during the massage, though once I flipped face-down with my face in the face-rest, I could take my mask off if I wanted.After my massage I decided that itd be safe to get a Hydrofacial, and Im so glad I did. Katelyn is such a gifted and passionate aesthetician, and I felt completely comfortable and confident in her updated techniques and complete committment to safety. She has just the right amount of chit-chat, too. If you want to chat, she will; and when you want to be quiet its perfectly fine. I love that. She loves her job and it shows! She was really excited to introduce me to one of their safety features: these really cool, clear plexiglass covers that sit about 12 over your face/head/shoulders that keeps a physical but crystal-clear barrier between you and the aesthetician. It gives her full control and access to your skin and allows her to work comfortably and effectively. She was close enough to really see what shes doing, but god forbid there was an unexpected sneeze wed be totally safe. The cover does *not* feel claustrophobic at all, I promise. It doesnt touch you, you dont feel your breath in it or anything like that. And honestly, my eyes are closed during the facial most of the time anyway, so I just didnt even notice it.My beau also got a massage with his favorite massage therapist Kristina, and loved it, as always. After our services we both commented about how fantastic our afternoon was, and how grateful we are for this hidden gem. Yes, you might think A spa in a strip mall next to a comic book shop and a paint store?? But trust me, as soon as you walk in those doors, you wont remember youre in a strip-mall. The layout is really lovely.I cannot wait to schedule my next facial + massage day. It was a much-needed escape.(I know this review may seem over-the-top... but Im just really, really excited and relieved that these services can be provided safely, sensibly, and effectively during this really stressful pandemic time. Definitely take advantage of this place-- you will be glad you did.

I just had a massage from Robin. I don’t leave reviews often but today I am. I am a chronic lower back pain and sciatica sufferer from an injury a few years ago. It’s often difficult for me to find relief. Robin took in all of my concerns and made it a point to address them in my massage. She provided a relaxing, calming and professional atmosphere. I’ve had plenty of massages from various local places but this place will be my last stop! No more searching for the best place for a massage because this place here is the ONE. Highly recommend. 20 out of 5 stars. Thanks to Robin for having the gift of taking someone’s pain away ♥️

My go to place for pedicures. friendly staff, the ladies remember me even when i haven’t been in months.

The woman who did my eye lash extensions was really nice but I feel like she may have not been as experienced as she should’ve been. I got these for vacation and they lasted maybe 6 days instead of the two weeks I was told. major fallout happened which was so sad because i paid a good amount for them. I couldn’t even come in to get them fixed since most of them fell out while I was on vacation. other services here may be good but my demi lash extensions were not. :(

This place is absolutely amazing. A friend of mine convinced me to start a girls day with a Brazilian wax. This was my first time, Ive never been brave enough to actually get one. Once I checked in the owner noticed that I was starting to get extremely nervous and my anxiety was kicking in. She offered me mimosa and made sure I was at ease in the fabulous waiting area. My waxer,took me back shortly after and walked me through the process. It was over before I knew it! We spent the entire time talking, laughing and joking. There wasnt awkward silence or even one uncomfortable moment. I never want to shave again!!!!!

I didn’t even get the chance to receive any services from Sanctuary, I scheduled an appt for a massage & ritual bath, 2 days before my appt the called and said they needed to reschedule for the following week because they already had 2 ritual baths scheduled and they can’t do more than that in a day, my thought process was why would you let me schedule the appointment then, but I went ahead and rescheduled for the following week and again 2 days before my appointment they called and told me they no longer offer the ritual bath, I just cancelled the appointment, that was the whole reason I made the appointment at that establishment but after the rescheduling of appointments and everything else I was no longer interested in any services from there... disappointing!
