Laron, Lesia, and Raina worked their magic beautifully on me for my wedding day! I couldnt be happier with how my hair and make up came out for the big day and cant believe how well my hair stayed in tact through the night. Thank you all for being a part of my day and making me feel like a princess!

So, I was there for a message, when I arrived I got message therapist DJ. I went for a regular message. But, when I got there I decided to get a deep tissue massage. Her technique was amazing...it was exactly what I needed. So...for anyone that needs a deep tissue message, shes the person to do it! DJ was soft spoken, friendly and professional! The staff was equally friendly and professional! When I got home I got a call from the owner letting me know that there was an error with my payment, I had a gift certificate and it was not applied to payment, the owner wanted to immediately send me back the payment, But! Because I had excellent experience, I decided to have her hold that payment so I can come back in July.

It was fantastic the specialist that worked with me on a facial was knowledgeable and informative. She explained everything she was doing, what product she was using and what it would do for my skin. Even gave advice like use sunscreen to better protect my skin. Then she worked on my teenager who has severe acne oh my the difference the facial made. It bought back the shine in her face, but it was the caring skillful way that the specialist treated my child. My daughter is super sensitive, but she was comfortable with Inga our specialist. Thank you and my family will visit again. This was a great experience.

Amazing!! I have not got my hair cut in 2 years and I’ve never got it colored! Yasmine was amazing and super comforting making sure I got what I wanted! I wanted super natural highlights that are low maintenance for the summer and they definitely delivered!! Overall great experience!!!

My appointment was on 4/24/21.I scheduled a Cielo Signaature Massage and Vitamin C Facial. The esthetician was a bit rough around the edges and failed to educate me on ways to care for my skin after telling me about the ton of blackheads and deep pores that I have in my skin. She did not make small talk yet seemed to be able to speak when asking me if I wanted to add my neck to the facial. I asked for the price of the upcharge and she told me that it would be $20 extra. I said yes and she only did a small portion of the front of my neck. In retrospect I believe that she did not think that I would tip. I certainly tipped her and the massage therapist. I also feel that her treatment or lack there of was because I am an African American woman.Now onto the Signature Massage...The massage therapist was rude and borderline “around the way girl”. She made statements like “what I’m going need up to do is” and “I need you to get up so I can lay the stones down”. Her tone was sarcastic. I had her before and did not care for her but I also believe in second chances. Transparency is a key to longevity so I will add that she gave me judgementallooks because I am a larger woman and again her voice was condesending. When she was dished she stated “I’m done”. She did not offer me a warm wash cloth to clean the oil off and she did not offer me water.Please note that I visited Cielo twice before and spoke highly of the outfit to my friends, family,and Social Media networks. I called twice and sent an email since my last visit on 4/24/21. To this date I have not heard back from anyone . I specifically asked for an owner or manager. I will not return or recommend this organization.

My husband and I frequent this establishment as we love to treat ourselves to couples massages. We love this place, however the last appointment we tried to make things got a little rocky. I called and the receptionist had issues understanding what I wanted to book, then because it was Valentines day they were running specials and it took several days for them to finally email me the flyers of the specials. Finally I called and booked the appointment requesting a certain massage therapist that we prefer. They said we were good and I would receive a text that day confirming the appointment, three days went by and I called back since I never received confirmation. When I called they said we were all set. Three days later they called to adjust the appointment as the person we wanted wouldnt be in that day. Four days later they called back to change the appointment again. I was not happy with all of the changes and frankly was very frustrated with the entire situation. It was also very out if character of the organization as we had never experienced these problems in the past. The day came for the appointment and things couldnt have gone better. The owner and spa manager and massage therapist had heard about all of our issued and did everything in their power to make up for the issues and make our day extra special. They provided a cheese and chocolate platter, they discounted our service and also bought us lunch on them to apologize for a of the inconveniences. My husband and I couldnt have been happier with the service and all of their extra efforts to make up for the issues. We left very happy and excited to return again soon. This company provided extra customer service and it was greatly appreciated. We understand things can happen, but they did the right thing by going above and beyond to make our experience memorable to the point that we completely forgot about all of the appointment confusion. Great job and we appreciate you and your team. We will be back soon!

Cielo Salon Stylist April Perez-MedinaBy far one of the best hair stylists I have ever visited. I’m extremely picky about who I let touch my hair but I was visiting relatives in Henderson over the holidays and desperately needed my hair done before a trip to Los Angeles. You should know I go to the salon at home in Maryland every single week.I searched online for hours upon hours before coming across a review for April Perez which stated she masterfully straightened curly hair! Bingo! I immediately knew that April was the one. Cielo Salon was only a few minutes from my parents house. I must say they made scheduling online easy as I was able to secure an afternoon appointment the day after Christmas within a few moments.Upon arriving at the salon, I received a warm greeting. Within a few moments of my scheduled time, April greeted me with a big smile. I was immediately at ease. She spent time speaking with me before starting on my hair. I told her about my concerns and styling preferences. She listened intently. I have never seen a stylist so adept at using the round brush. Although my appointment was scheduled for an hour she took her time to ensure my hair was styled to my satisfaction. April’s personality is so pleasant. Upon completion I was thrilled with my hair. My only regret was that I couldn’t visit April every week since I lived back east! My style lasted a week and I regretfully had to go to my stylist to have my hair washed. April did an Amazing job! I will be sure to book another appointment with her when I return to Las Vegas in February. Overall Cielo is a beautiful and friendly salon and April Perez is a wonderful hair stylist!. I would highly recommend!

Due to the shut down Ive been doing my own hair (DISASTER!!!) I wasnt sure anyone would be able to save my hair. I was prepared to have it all chopped off and start over. But no, Lesia worked a miracle! Not only did my hair look great, its probably the best hair cut and color Ive ever had in my life!! Drop the Mike wonderful!! If Lesia moves out of the state, I will find her because I dont want anyone else to touch my hair! The owner was very actively involved and the customer service was awesome. Price was great for what I had done and in fact, it enabled me to leave a well deserved better than normal tip to the amazing Lesia. Go to this Salon...you will not regret it!!!! Kristie Loritz

My experience at Cielo yesterday was fantastic. Loran is a superb business owner who makes you feel comfortable and wants you to feel beautiful when you leave there. She is the person you want to go to for your hair coloring, highlights, etc. She gave me beautiful highlights. I love it so much. Steven, her new stylist, is incredible. He styled my hair with beach curls and it is so pretty and sexy. He took great care of me and made me very comfortable with him. He is very sweet yet I can tell he knows his craft. He also wants you to feel you had the best experience with him. He is very talented styling hair.

I’ve been a client of Laron’s for years now and it is such a peaceful and pleasant experience every time. Her team is inviting, hospitable, and talented. I’ve experienced color, cut, blow dry, manicures, pedicures, massage, spray tan, facials...highly recommend this salon as a regular self care visit!

Disappointed overall with the services my daughter and I received over the weekend. Purchased 4 hour spa packages for both of us and did not receive what the packages indicated we would get. The facials were excellent, as was the person who did them...which is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars (she, herself earned a 5)...but the rest of the service was far from what I would expect given the cost and supposed “experience” indicated. Definitely not something I would do again.

An experience that was amazing and thoroughly enjoyable. Got my hair professionally cut and styled. Next I enjoyed and incredible (first) Swedish massage from a gifted masseuse. The atmosphere during the massage was so relaxing and peaceful. The salon, in the downstairs part of the business, was clean and very well designed. The building, that Cielo is located in, is really charming. When/if I am in Delaware again, I am going back to this wonderful place. The prices were incredibly low for the incredible value of the service received!

Saw Raina for the first time yesterday for some color correction. She was truly amazing. She played with 3 different colors to find me the perfect shade that I am absolutely in love with. Kept everything in my budget and was so nice to talk to. Ill be coming back every 6-8 weeks now!Thanks for the excellent service!

I celebrated my 27th birthday back in April;so I wanted to do something special. Cielo spa was so wonderful and accommodating! They took my diet concerns into consideration when per pairing my lunch. I have been looking for a salon to call home since moving to Delaware two years ago. I have tried several salons and have been very disappointed. On the recommendation of a friend, I gave Cielo a try. I had a cut and low-lights put in. Stephen was my hairdresser and he was awesome. He listened to me and understood exactly what i was looking for. My hair hasnt looked this good in a very long time: my cut is flawless and the color is perfect.

So I needed a haircut and due to being in an area where I do not stay on a regular basis and being very picky about my hair, I reviewed a lot of places and made a lot of phone calls to places to see if they had an appointment same day. I unfortunately and fortunately got shot down by a lot of places. My search was most reviews with the best ratings. This is a gem I happened to stumble upon. I was optimistic but nervous to get my haircut by a new person. Raina was very professional. She made sure that i was happy each step of the way. I asked her to adjust some spots and she did. She went a little shorter than I liked on the top. Thats the only downfall i had and every time she cut the tips at the top of my head, i cringed and cried a little on the inside thinking how am I gonna fix this. Just to give you an idea of my thoughts, i waited a week to write this to see how it turned out. I think she did a fantastic job and would definitely recommend her because I was being over dramatic watching her cut. I am very happy with the results. Thank you Raina.

Had Cielo come to our hotel room for in-room couples massage the day after our wedding, and it was excellent. They set it up like it was our own little spa, music and all. The massages were excellent and I would definitely use them anytime Im in the area. Thank you!!

I loved my experience at Cielo Spa. I have found it difficult to find that one salon that gives you an awesome color, cut and make you feel comfortable all at one place. But I finally found it! Loran was amazing, helped me go a little out of my comfort range but not drastic and the color she did looked amazing. I loved the cut too, my hair has not felt this healthy in a long time even though she kept the length for me which was super important. The staff was amazing, especially Chloe, she made me feel super comfortable and she made me think she was there just for me, which at the end of a long week is so awesome. Just wanted to say thanks, for going over and beyond for my salon experience.

Cielo’s newest stylist, Stephen, is a fantastic addition! The salon is clean & beautifully decorated. The validated parking is a plus. Stephen is a true artist with hair and is able to realize each client’s vision for their hair.

I have been going here for years and it’s always a suggestion for all folks coming to the area with grooming or relaxation needs. Like the best places, they are so courteous and gracious with inexpensive prices.

My wife Jane went to get her hair done, she had Stephen as her stylist I want to thanks him for the great service he provided she doesn’t stop talking about her experience. She was upset about a color some other salon messed up she was embarrassed about the hair color to the point she always had it up ina ponytail. My wife is beautiful but Stephen make her look more beautiful and now she went back to has hair long beautiful hair out.

Ive lived in Delaware my whole life and gotten haircuts at a lot of different salons from multiple stylists. And I will never go again for a trim or something drastic to anyone but Natasha at Cielo. I dont get haircuts as often as I should, the typical 6 or 8 weeks apart, and historically, its been very obvious. I had raggedy ends, pieces that didnt quite sit right, and just an overall stringy mess. These days, when Natasha cuts my hair, it looks as good the day she cuts it as it does several months later! Somehow, the way she cuts it makes it still look good as it grows out! Natasha is awesome! The staff at Cielo are fun and accommodating and the atmosphere is super classy as well!

My experience at Cielo Salon and Spa is from a working point of view. I filled in for them to do a service. I enjoy every time that I work for them. The staff were very helpful.

I love this salon! From the moment you walk in, you are treated like royalty. The stylists are knowledgeable and friendly. Loran brings your dreams to fruition from color to cut, and Lesia is a goddess with the blow dryer. I’ve walked in for a blowout off the street, and have made appointments from the day before, and they’ve all been accommodated!

The nail polish was so old and thick it never dried. Waste of money. And my toes and thumbs still hurt from them cutting to close (5days after gettingthem done). Nails were still wet 5 hours later. And i could push indents in them 2 days later. Totally messed up by the event that night. I was able to just pull off the polish hole after 3 days.

Ive been going to Cielo for the past two years based on a friends recommendation and I couldnt be more pleased with the people, the services, the facility, and the ambiance. Laron and her staff do an outstanding job of making Cielo a place of respite in the heart of Wilmington!

The owner Laron Thomas is extremely professional with modeling experience and has worked in high end salons in NYC. I have very fine hair and it is extremely affected by heated styling tools. Laron used a wonderful bonding treatment on my hair and I immediately saw a difference in the strength of my hair when using styling products. I highly suggest this salon l. (They have wonderful spa treatments too!).

I would have 0 stars if possible. I came in the other day with a picture in my hand of what I wanted(ombré) and was told it was possible and would be done. I was not shown my hair or progress the entire time till the stylist had already washed my hair and blow dried it. Finally, I was told oh well we made it a honey blonde which was not what I asked for nor what the picture was. I paid $200 for something I could have done myself with a box of color from Walmart and it would have turned out a lot better. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I went there the other day and spent $200 for an ombré look. The bottom tips of my hair are a light brown at best. I asked for it to start out dark and fade to blonde. Theres no blonde in my hair. I look like I went for a cheap dip dye. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
