I gave this place a 4 because normally I would love going here and it’s my favorite place to get my nails done because of the versatility of their designs and nail technicians. Although almost every time I come here the nail technicians are very aggressive when it comes to filing the nails, trimming and filling down my cuticle. The last time I came here I had acrylics for a couple months and decided to get them removed, filled and a new color. But the lady removing my nails just ripped my acrylics off taking most of my read nail with it. She did not prep with nail polish remover or any type of remover for the acrylic nail to be dissolved. It was very painful and my nails and cuticles started bleeding. This time the nail technicians took my acrylics off the proper way, soaking them in acetone but he still made my cuticle bleed when he filled them. It’s very painful. I love this place but I hate leaving the salon with bleeding and painful nails. Thanks.

Bebe did a great job on my nails. I went from nail salon to nail salon to fix my nails and so glad they let me walk in at 6pm. Bebe suggested a different color to have a complete over my old pink ombré nails and it worked perfectly. Will come again!

I started coming here about a year ago when the place I had been going to for over 2 years was “too busy” for me with an empty salon. Although Mani-Q was busy that day, they didn’t turn me away. I have been going ever since. Angie always makes sure I leave with awesome looking nails but all the techs are good as well. I am continuously complimented on my nails and I make sure I tell everyone to go check out Mani-Q.

Tried a few places & THIS is THE one! Im newer to the area & I like a good pedi & I sometimes do gel polish or gel powder/dip. I tried 3 other places locally that had great reviews, Diamond, TLC & one other I cant recall. Diamond was ok, TLC was so impersonal & MANI Q has been BY FAR the BEST! Not only is the work EXCELLENT, but even as a newer customer I felt valued & treated SO well! Customer service is SO important these days & MANI Q (every person Ive met here) has been above & beyond.

Came in with my daughter and my niece... all getting pedicures, plus some waxing for my daughter and I. The pedicures were quite average, and while I paid for the massage, the guy was basically just running his hands over legs. The people doing the other pedicures were very aggressive with my daughter and my niece. The waxing experience was the worst I have ever had. The waxing was very patchy, and left many hairs behind. They didnt really go over anything with a tweezer after. Very disappointed.

I came in the first time and the gentleman that did both my toes and nails did a horrible job so I didn’t think I would be back.However, a friend uses Angie so I called and got an appointment with her specifically and she fixed what the last gentleman did and they look amazing. I’ve now been back twice more with only her and have my next appointment set! Never had so many compliments on my nails before. Thanks Angie!!!

I love Angie and my pedicure was great from another girl there. Usually have a lovely experience!However, I recommend avoiding the younger guy that’s there. He filed my nails down to nubs, did a horrible job on my cuticles and made them bleed and started painting my nails so far up from the base they looked half painted. It was rushed and aggressive and I looked worse than before I went in.

I’ve been getting my nails done for many years so I’m really picky with my manicures. Angy always does an amazing job & her team is always so friendly! They always respect appointments & I always notice how they never turn down a walk-in. They always leave my nails exactly the way I want & are always happy to fix anything I might not like. This is my favorite nail salon in Wilmington!

Not ever really one to complain, but I went here for the first time, and the guy who did my gel manicure was amazing, I love it! But I got a different girl for a standard pedicure (no gel, just polish) and while the massage was nice, I got in my vehicle and looked at my toe nail polish in the light and it looks like a 5 year old painted them. Super disappointed. Streaky polish and there’s patches of polish all over my skin. Would have walked back in, but I was on a time crunch. Friendly staff, but as quality goes, I probably won’t be back.

Went in showed a picture of what exactly I wanted and got something that looks NOTHING like what I wanted. I don’t get my nails done often and this is a strong reason why. I have respect for the nail artists that admit they can’t do it but not the ones that say they but really can’t. It wasn’t even anything difficult. I wanted a simple grey and white ombré. I got Grey and white not blended I look like I have cigars on my nails. It might would look good on someone else but I paid $70 for a rushed service and it’s my birthday today so now I have to go out with these horrid nails😫

Went in yesterday and scheduled an appointment for today because they were busy showed up earlier than my schedule time and wasnt seen until 30 minutes after my schedule time also was overcharged and not the best quality they rushed my nails one nail is crooked. Treated another guest before me when I had made an appointment and the other customer was a walk-in and when I try to nicely explain the situation to the lady upfront she told me she this doesn’t always happen but it did today. I come there all the time and the last two times I have been my services have been rushed and poor quality and overpriced. I really enjoyed them when I went before but now it seems like they’re just in a hurry to get you in and out the door***very unsanitary... worker was picking her nose and didn’t wash her hands

I went on Sunday to get an acrylic fill and 2 days later my 2 pointer fingers were peeling at the base of my nail and I went and got them fixed on Thursday and the next day they started peeling again. They blamed this happening because my nails are too old.

My nails were gorgeous and did NOT fall apart quickly. I had acrylic tips and dip powder done with really cute designs done. Really great service for very reasonable price!

I went into this establishment less than 2 weeks ago. I called and made an appointment for 6:30pm. I arrived early. Initially I wanted a pedicure and full set. When I arrived I decided I wouldnt need a pedicure. The woman looking at my toes immediately had an attitude and in the middle of me asking a question walked away. Extremely rude! Then I get my nails done. I was charged $80 for a BASIC design. I was grossly overcharged. After a WEEK my nail was lifting already .I will NEVER come back here.

I have been going here going here for years. Always very kind and great service. I am always treated like Im the only customer in the building. Great selection of colors and designs.

I went in for a gel manicure where my nail tech failed to paint any of my whole nails after filing them extremely short. Many of the corners and edges of my nails were not done and still have half of my cuticles attached to some nails. Poor quality job and will not be going back.

Angie and Dan run an awesome business at Mani Q! I have finally found my go-to nail salon! Great ombre dip options and just got my first organic pedicure!! Great hours and great customer service!!

I went with a friend. I was with a woman named Linda. She was really sweet and did a great job. Sometimes the pedicurists are a hit or miss, but this one was a hit.

I visited here yesterday after having an awful experience at another salon. The staff here was amazing. They made me feel welcome and pampered. I was offered complimentary wine and the lady who did my pedicure and manicure was very careful and attentive and checked my nails thoroughly multiple times throughout the process to make sure they were even and done correctly. This is my new go to salon and I will most definitely be returning.

Fist time here got sns dip French nails there ok, but nail tech didnt clean up my nails before doing them so there is red polish in the cuticle areas so though she would do it at the end of the service but she didnt had to come home and do it myself..

I went once they did an ok job. So I decided to give them another try and they kept hurting me. Do not allow anyone who is older to touch ur hands or feet it will HURT!!! She kept filling with the drill til the polish came off and it hurt. And no one cares to listen and no oil on the cuticles so they look awful and dry. I pay for a service but looks like i have to buy and apply my own oils and lotions. You do not get what you pay for buyer beware. Also I hope they cleaned that pedi tub better later on, person complained of fungus scar

I was in and out for a full set of acrylics with in an hour. They treated me great and the lady who doesdesigns is amazing!! i give a 4/5 my only complaint is the one guy cut my cuticles and i bled. Nothing unusual when getting nails treated! i will be returning :))

I went for my first time today to get a full set of acrylic with a colored french tip and Amy did my nails and she was amazing, super nice and my nails have never looked better and for a very good price. Definitely go to mani q!

My second visit to Mani Q Spa. Again, a wonderful experience. The salon is under new management and you can see how much the new owners care about and value their customers. I’ve been getting the powder dip manicure for about 6 months now. I’ve found that I get the best dip manicure here at Mani Q Spa and my nails continue to stay very healthy. Yesterday I had a pedicure and it was wonderful. It was not rushed and the foot and leg massage was the best. The salon is very clean, quiet and relaxing. Mani Q Spa will be my salon from now on.

I love going some place where they know me, remember what I like, and they do such a good job. Angie does my nails and BeBe does my pedicure. Even though I now have to drive to go to them, we moved, I will continue going there as long as they are there. Go check them out.

Mani Q Spa is my favorite spot, especially for pedicures. Everyone is so kind, friendly and inviting. They take their time with their work to give you a high quality, relaxing experience. P.s. they actually massage your feet/hands longer than 30 seconds, definite plus in my book!

I came in to have my acrylic nails reshaped and filled in. I was the only customer in there, so there was no wait. I sat down and was asked regular or gel polish, I wanted regular. A lady (employee) came over a started asking me why I wasn’t getting gel and it was kind of annoying. The guy who did my nails was fantastic. My nails have never looked better and I can’t wait to go back. I wish I would’ve written down his name because he was the best nail technician I have ever had.

The new owners of Mani-Q, Dan & Angie have done an amazing job remodeling, organizing, and cleaning the space. The service is very personalized and they take time to care for your mani/pedi needs. My mani/pedi’s are always perfect and I leave feeling refreshed. They have added many new products, colors, and services. Less than 12 hours after leaving salon my acrylic nail had broken off. I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years I had THE MOST inexperienced nail tech I have ever had in my life. After filing my pinky nail so thin it started to bleed, she proceeded to give me the most uneven and not symmetrical nail shape ever. ALSO while dripping liquid acrylic on my hands and having to redo the acrylic on multiple nails because she could not even apply it correctly. MULTIPLE times I asked her if she wanted to get help or wait until someone who knew what they were doing could service me. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will be going back tonight to request a new set of nails and a new nail tech. I’ve never in my life walked out of a nail salon with nails as bad as these. I will be giving this location another chance tonight and I sincerely hope my experience is different.

Over one nail they took everybody before me pedicures full sets and everything over one nail I just needed fixed I could’ve been in and out I wish Lilly wouldn’t have left the new management sucks New management told me to wait 30 minutes I waited 40 and then took another full set in before me Will not be going back Lily needs to come back

If I go at opening they are late or if open I have to wait for some more employees to come in to get service. Last 2 times I left with raw spots on heels and ankles from the foot sander. Also rough treatment with pedicure. Workers didnt seem real happy at work. Not sure if I will go back.

I went here today on Friday because everyone else was busy and had a terrible experience. I asked for a gel manicure and he RUSHED through it . I got a chrome color and it was uneven and could still see the color underneath and it was not smooth and had bumps. I asked for a manicure and instead he used a drill to even out my cuticles and said it was fine and still charged me $30. I thought the pedicure would be better but it was just as bad. She went through it so fast I couldnt even enjoy it. The pedicure took 10 minutes it was absolutely ridiculous that a pedicure was that short. She mixed the exfoliant, oil and lotion all in one and rinsed it off and painted my nails. I remember why I stopped going here. Highly do NOT recommend.

This is usually where I get my pedicures and its usually really good service but the last couple times Ive had to ask them to go back over my feet and then have come home to have most of my calluses not removed and have to touch my pedicure up myself. Theyre not American but I wish they would speak more English

The ladies do a great job, seems like here lately I get a man that hurried through and acts like he is just going through the motions. While doing my toes he actually clipped my toe, being on blood thinners and having a knee replacement I dont need that. I said something and he just looked at me like I was crazy. Love the ladies but some of the men act like they are doing you a favor. Rethinking if I want to return. The man that did mine I have wondered does he use the same instruments on the all people, I questioned his Emoryboard and he wasnt happy. Im thinking about finding a different place because I really dont like the men working on me, if you question they get mad.

I went for a fill in. I asked for my nails to be trimmed 3 times and they did not trim them at all. I told them i wanted the color baby pink and they gave me a peach color. I told them i did not like that color but yet they kept painting. The paint job also was very splotchy. I have never been to a nail salon that did not listen to what i was saying. It was so rude.

A complete downer, the teh tech took off half my finger, instead of a regular 30 minutes anywhere else took 2 hours,. My friend had a pedicure, not good. They didnt clean the tools between one to the other. Again, the nail lady took off half my finger, going to the medic now.

Thet don’t honor appts here. The owner Lilly begged me to come in & get a manicure and when I did (with an appt set in advance) she had me wait 15 minutes until I reminded her I had an appt in which I had told her about on the phone while booking the appt. She said “well you don’t have to wait, you can leave” which I promptly did. The counter tops are filthy with dirt & dust, the staff is rude & underdeliver in the customer service dept. Go anywhere but here!
