If I could give a greater review, I absolutely would! from the start, the process was very professional, caring and just a wonderful experience. Linda responded quickly and Tricia was (and is still) extremely helpful in answering any questions I may have. I was hesitant of anyone giving me a chance since I am a first time pet owner, but Tricia made me feel extremely comfortable and supported through the process and the home visit was a pleasure. I met my sweet dog within a few days of applying to adopt him. He came from a great foster parent (also by LGDR) and was cared for. Even after adopting him, Tricia has made herself available to answer any questions/concerns I may have - this truly shows the heart of these women and the rescue. Thank you LGDR!

I have known two of these fabulous and strong women for well over a decade. I can say they are truly passionate and hardworking in everything they do for their organization. They also take their roles very seriously to find honest and genuine adopters. They strive to find these pups the best permanent match possible, and are absolutely amazing at what they do! Extremely unprofessional to tell the applicant what the references say. The questions, “ Would you give your pet to this person if you could no longer care for your pets?” I said no..which they told the applicant. If you aren’t going to actually listen to the references don’t ask. You adopted a pet to this person anyway.
