I came in as a walk in ( which she does not usually accept, please call and make an appointment with her! ) very distressed because my manager made me change my nails because they werent fitting with company policy, and Jennifer was so happy to help me and was so genuine! I got the pink and white acrylics and she did the most beautiful job and took her time shaping and cleaning up my nails! For sure will not be going anywhere else from now on, she is such a kind soul and always make sure her customers are happy and loves to talk which is nice!

I went in on a Monday, I called and got an appointment for my friend and I. She wasnt finished with her other client which was fine so My friend and I waited 15 mins for her to finish. She did a pretty good job on my friends nails but when it was my turn. My nails did not look too good. I wanted a simple designed and she charged my $3 for each nail. If she did a good job I wouldnt mind the extra charge but it just was not what I had in mind. Then my nails started chipping not even 3 days later. not even a week later one of my nails has completely peeled off in one sheet. Im disappointed because I paid over $60 for a simple gel manicure with a really easy designed. Jennifer was super nice and has offered to fix it when I come back into town. Sometimes this happens with gel manicures and it might not be Jennifers fault.

I went in to get a full set yesterday, and it was one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had! Jennifer was absolutely wonderful, so sweet, so accommodating and gave me EXACTLY what I was asking for! She even cleaned up my cuticles and gave me a nice little hand massage at the end! I could not be happier with my experience at LA Nails and Jennifer! I will 100% be back every 3 weeks to see her! So happy to have found a salon that can make me feel like I’m at home!

The owner Jennifer was very friendly, timely, professional and courteous. I had Acrylic fills done and she recommended using gel polish which looks absolutely amazing. I also had a pedicure done. My feet were a mess because I recently had 2 knee replacement surgeries and still cannot bend my legs properly. Jennifer had my toes beautifully painted and my feet looking great right in time for summer. I will be returning to LA Nails over and over again!💖

Jennifer is a great nail tech who i have had taking care of my nails for almost 4 years. She has been handling my Manis, pedis and my facial waxings. I have always been pleased with her work. I dont trust easy when it comes to having people do these things because I have been done bad in the past by others, but Jennifer has always been excellent when working with me.

Jennifer is awesome. She did an amazing job on a new set of acrylic nails and a french pedicure. She is very friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. She also waxed my eyebrows and they look amazing too. I am very happy I found Jennifer and her salon, LA Nails & Spa. I will be using her from here on out in the future!!

I’m very disappointed, she convinced me that she should do dip powder over top of my natural nails because they were long enough but she didn’t shape them very well and now they’re starting to peel out from underneath not even a week later. The edges are rough and are getting caught on my clothing and in my hair. I would not mind if it was cheaper but I paid over $75 + tip and they haven’t even lasted a week, my natural nails underneath the dip powder are also peeling from under the front. I feel bad for her but she did not do a good enough job for what I paid.

The atmosphere is welcoming. Such sweet and wonderful staff. Fantastic prices. I have been coming here for over 12 years and will still come here.

DO NOT GO HERE if you barely know English they will add a bunch of stuff to your nails you don’t want and then extremely over charge you from what you originally went in there for. This place is pitiful. They do good work sadly if your willing to put up with the fraud against Hispanics or others who don’t speak good English

I have been going to LA Nails monthly since 2009, and I have never been disappointed with any of my experiences there. My nails of choice have always been pink and white, and Emily has consistently prepared beautiful nails for me. Additionally, I love to have designs painted onto some of my nails for holidays, special occasions, or just everyday style. Emily has also taken personal connection very seriously by remembering events and situations in my life and asking me about them at each visit. It has always impressed me how she remembers so many clients by name and keeps track of clients who are related or friends.The pedicures are amazing as well, so I have recommended them to both men and women for relaxation and a confidence boost. LA Nails seems to have many customers for gel nails, and they have an almost overwhelming selection of colors available, so I have never seen a customer who was unable to find the perfect color for their taste. It is important to note that walk-ins are welcome, but you may have to wait if you come at a busy time, so I would recommend making an appointment if you would rather not risk having to potentially wait for service. However, at LA Nails, you will always be pleased with the staff and the quality of service.

The workers take advantage of Hispanic that don’t really know English and give them a bunch of work they don’t want done and then charge them for it I witnessed it with my own eyes and then when the lady came to give her the total it was 79 and the Hispanic lady paid with a 100 and wasn’t givin any change she was almost in tears because she didn’t like the work and she wasn’t givin her change or even asked if she wanted to tip

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was recently in this salon and witnessed a NAIL TECH take advantage of a elderly Hispanic women that knew very little English. Very unprofessional and had the nerve to charge that women $79 and kept the whole hundred the Hispanic women gave her. She had the Hispanic women in tears ! This is a business I will never support due to the lack of human decency that was shown.

I cannot say enough great things about the salon and the work Jenny does! I get gel manicures regularly, but no one is better than Jenny. I have been growing out my nails and in 2 months I have not broken ONE nail. The manicure lasts a good 3 weeks as well. She also does the BEST job at keeping the salon clean and strictly follows COVID policy. I never get nervous to go get my manicure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Horrible! Took my daughter there because our normal spot was too crowded. Waited forever, and my pedicure wasnt anything but a foot soak and a nail painting and the price was more than Ive been charged from anywhere else plus she kept trying to add more charges. Will never return!

Ive been trying most of the nails salons in Wilmington and did not like them until I went to LA Nails. There are three things that I like about this salon: #1: customer service, Johnny, the shops manager, went above and beyond to ensure I satisfied with my service. #2: they used disposable liners for the pedicure tubs for sanitation purposes. I work in the health industry so I can appreciate this. #3: they served house wines. Last but not least, the quality of the job, second to none.Ive decided to try coffin-shaped nails and I love them. Nonetheless, this will be my nails salon to go to from now on.

I needed to pamper myself and had a wonderful pedicure with hot stones and massage followed by a lovely manicure and of course waxing. Jennifer did all flawlessly and was so friendly. This is my new nail salon. Definitely.

I wanted to do pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month & she hand painted 5 colors for me after hours without even needing a brush!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for making me so pinkalicious!!! :))) Her time is definitely worth the cost, especially to get a muchh needed break from anything else 2020 can lay-on - she’s your 20/20!!!

The lady was nice, but these nails are atrocious. Extremely crooked and not ombre. You can see a clear separation too. Not coming back.

My friend and I had appts. for 11am. Hers started at 11. Mine started at 11:17. I was finished first. Made a mistake on a nail. Didnt take all the polish off so you could tell on the finished pedi. Found a new place to go.

I love this salon. Great atmosphere and friendly environment. I came in last week with a bridal party. What an experience, Johnny, the manager of the salon went above and beyond to service us ensuring we had a good time. Emily, Hannah, Jolie, Julie, Rachel, Lily and Lisa were fun. I had a Signature Pedicure with gel and I loved it. Oh did I mention how funny and friendly Johnny and Emily were. They also served wines. I love Emily, moved here from NJ and took some time to find a nail place. My gels last for at least 3 weeks and always look great. Longest I have ever had a manicure last, do a lot of cooking and gardening. Everyone on staff is professional, nice and the atmosphere in the salon is friendly. HORRIBLE. there was hair in my nails they were uneven and she will not refund. my friends nails were uneven too and the lady wouldn’t let her get black the color she wanted. and hung up on me when i asked for a refund. do not go.

Drove from Sneads Ferry to come here and I’m so happy I did! Jennifer was wonderful. She’s a very friendly conversationalist and a detail oriented manicurist. She made sure I was happy with the length, shape, and color before moving on. She also took the time to clean excess polish from the sides, which I don’t always experience at other salons unfortunately. The salon itself is spotless and definitely looks like they’ve put in a lot of love and hard work. The two negative reviews are obviously a scam, this salon is great. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently got the SNS manicure and classic pedicure at LA nails. Jennifer was my nail technician, and she did a great job. She was very friendly, and her attention to detail cant be beat. Thank you, Jennifer!

They should be following a more sanitary regime. Reusing dirty paper towels, unsanitzed tools (you cannot see a single sanitizing uv light box anywhere), and after getting a pedicure here I developed athletes foot, which I am very unhappy about. I will not be returning.

These two are really amazing and very friendly! They did such an awesome job! Jennifer did my pedicure and by hand, she painted these adorable snow flakes on my big toes that were just too cute! The hot stone felt so good. If youve never had a pedicure there, you should really have one. Its so relaxing! Michael put on my SNS nails and I couldnt be happier. I really consider myself a pretty picky person, but I have to say, they were even pickier than me. My nails look beautiful! He even messaged my hands afterwards and put on some very pretty smelling lotion.You can see how they take great pride in their work and are always willing to please you no matter what. I was well taken care of and very relaxed when I left there. Needless to say, I will definitely be back!

Never again!!! This place had so many good reviews so I was eager to try it. I have tips on with powder dip. Well Jennifer was the I my person working, and after an hour she couldn’t get them off. She complained the whole time and as she was using some tools it felt like she was burning a whole through my nail. After trying this for an hour she asked me to come back tomorrow cause “this is taking to long” excuse me...really?! Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never been through an experience like this ever. Don’t bother wasting your money here
