Honestly, this is the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. I asked for Pink and Whites with WHITE ACRYLIC. She started doing my nails and when she was done with the pink, she then informed me they dont have white acrylic...???? Never been to salon that doesnt but ok... But would have been nice to know. She then proceeded to use white gel polish. Then are sloppy and look horrible. They are thick and ridiculous looking. I will NEVER be back. Just AWFUL to expect someone to pay $50 for this mess. Save your money and go elsewhere. Save yourself the headache.*Asked them to fix the polish on the nails that were messed up today and she called me out on the review. Not only a terrible nail job but they feel as if calling out an unhappy customer in front of others would help their cause...? Unprofessional and sloppy.

Lena is the best hands down! Always does a great job. The only person I would ever let touch my nails! She’s neat and her designs are always 🔥🔥

They are very professional and the quality of nails are amazing but make sure to schedule an appointment with them or you will be waiting forever. I was waiting for 2 hours until I got my nails done. if they don’t pick up cal again sometimes they watching the phone ring 🤷‍♀️

It was my first time going to this place since I was near by. Cleanness was awful, the place was dirtyaybe because they were so busy. There was clients with no masks. The pedicure was awful, some man started my pedicure and another lady finishe it and they were all just hurrying through and bouncing from one client to another instead of focusing on one at the time. The deluxe pedicure was not what I expected and was not worth my money. Last and most important I didnt see them clean the pedicure chairs, or feet sink after each client, also I never sae them clean the pedicure tools either which is just not good hygiene. Someone can catch fungus or something else at this place.

Really nice.. they check temp.. and have you sanitize hands. Love the fact that the nail artist paid attention to the detail....sorry for glare in pic..

The nails were extremely short and uneven. The acrylic nail literally comes off my real nail and they were painted horribly. I asked for him to fix one nail because it was extremely short and it didn’t match the others and he refused. I paid because I know he took the time to do them, but I will not be returning. Extremely awful.

This place does awesome pedicures, and the nails arent bad either. If you are going to get your nails done please use Lena as she is very current and up-to-date

See pictures I posted:I just happened to be in the area trying to find a halloween costume for my daughter, and in the spirit of saving time, I stopped into Nails Art. I had a wedding and now I have a halloween party coming up so I went in for a simple polish change.I had to cough and I accidentally hit my thumb, I asked her politely if she could fix it and she dabbed nail polish remover on it with her finger, pushed it down and threw another coat overtop.I asked for lines on my ring finger nails, and she flew through that that as if i was a hassle and immediately put clear over it so it drug the lines.I was willing to forgive the fact she didnt cover my entire nail on 7 of 10 fingers, that the old color was still present, or that that was hair on 2 of my nails and the color was on my fingers on 3 of my fingers...When I said I wasnt happy about how she didnt actually fix my thumb and the lines, (never did I say I wanted a free polish change or tried to get out of paying... just simply that it wasnt fixed) she said, Fine, you leave, you no pay, you leave and never come back! My response, Trust me, I wont.Ive never told any nail place in my life that I wasnt happy. This is first in 20 years of getting me getting my nails done. Someone please help me pick my jaw off the floor....

My daughter wanted to try this place because she saw their Instagram posts. While the nail art was good, the place is dirty. The pedicure was awful. The lady was just hurrying through and she hurt my toenail. I didnt see them clean the tools either- just gross.

Lena did my nails and I was impressed on how good she did. She did an amazing job and she also has good prices! Definitely will go back here✨

Absolutely love this place.

Not happy.Simply wanted yellow nails w sunflowers.Didnt have 3d flowers. Was fine with them being painted on But they couldnt do that. 1st lady tried a few times. A second lady tried. At that point i said idc how you paint the sunflower long as it is one. No better. I tried to simplify it further, and asked for the most basic,generic daisy evr. It looks like she gave up.She said to come back after she gets the 3d products but no thanks..I dont think what i Was asking for hard.

My girlfriend and her sisters had great experiences here until yesterday. The gentleman named Taylor is outstanding. Long story short; the oldest lady who works there is not only incompetent, but rude. My girlfriend(who is currently posting pictures on her shoddy work Instagram and Facebook) was disappointed to say the least. She asked the lady to stop in the middle of the process and asked to wait for Taylor and was told no. The pictures show what the lady was trying to call shaped and ready for polish. She was already in the process of polishing the nails when my girlfriend let her dissatisfaction be known. Again my GF has been using this nail salon for a year. Needless to say she no longer endorses this establishment and suggests you try somewhere else.

By far the best place in town! Been coming here since I moved to North Carolina in 2012 and I have never had a problem. The staff are wonderful but MIMI is AMAZING! Shes the only one I request to do my nails, especially the designs. She does all designs by hand! Mimi knows how to make you feel like family. I just had a baby 7 months ago and she is always so patient and understanding if he gets fussy. This is the place to go to if your feet or hands need some TLC. She also does great eyebrows too! LOVE YOU MIMI and YOU ROCK!

I am really truly surprised how this place has such a high rating. I went in to get a spa pedicure and not a single person understood the spa pedicure, so I just got the pedicure. It was the dirtiest nail salon I have ever seen, experienced, and even heard. I know this industry pretty well because some of my friends own such business but this place is really unsanitary. While getting a regular pedicure, I saw four roaches. The worst part was when I notified the staffs, they caught them with the towel that she used to wipe my legs after massage. I am 100% sure that the towel will be used on other customers. I am usually a generous tipper, so I had to give the minimum tip but I really didnt even want to pay for the service and I would have given 0 star if it was possible. I dont personally have bad blood with them but I think such place shouldnt operate, let alone such high rating. Really creepy experience.

By far the best place to get your nails done in Wilmington. Even when it looks packed they are quick and helpful about getting you in. Mimi always does such wonderful pedicures and does the most amazing designs. My pedicures always last a really long time without chipping and fading like they would at other places. Ive also had eyelash extensions done here and they always turn out great. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for good nail salon services.

This was my first time here. Heard good things about the place. You always have to experience it yourself. Quiet and respectful place. Ask for coffin nails but got stilettos. She put on the full set tore my cuticles up with the filer. Never asked me to wash my hands even if I was putting gel polish on or not. I had to ask her could I go wash my hands because I seen a lot of the residue on my finger. Bad experience have plenty of open sores on my cuticles after her doing my nails. Again experience things yourself but my experience was not good. It is not the best nail shop in town. Whats going to do a pedicure is well, but the way my nails were done quickly and the way my hands were treated I decided not to do a pedicure

Yesterday, I went to Nails Art for a pedicure. I had not had a pedicure for about three years. The technician was professional and skillful, and her attention to detail paid off. I got the basic pedicure, but opted to upgrade to the gel polish to ensure longevity of results. She did a fantastic job, and my feet looked (and felt) fantastic afterward. The entire experience was very relaxing, too, as the salon provides massage chairs for patrons to use during pedicures. I highly recommend them; in fact, I plan to return today for a manicure.

I sat there for about 30 minutes before they even seated me, then I proceeded to wait another about 20 minutes for someone to come over to actually give me a new set of acrylics. I needed to take off my old set and get a new set put on and when the guy finally came over to do my nails he just completely ripped them off, and he wasnt gentile. It hurt pretty bad. He was completely done doing my nails within like 10 minutes. I normally dont like sitting at the nail salon for hours but I kind of like when they at least try to take there time and be precise. He asked me if I wanted a design and I said sure, which I shouldnt have. I sat there for another 15 minutes waiting on the girl to come over to do my design. Once I was all finished and ready to dry, I asked if we got student discounts. Me being a UNCW student, its nice to get discounts especially since I dont have job while in school. I was expecting them to say yes since it says they do on their website but they denied me. After that I was just furious. So I walked away after spending $40 on a damn acrylic set! Pretty sure it says $25 online...Dont trust their website!!!!

This was my first time going here and my sister first time ever getting her nails done so it was a big deal for us, sadly we chose the wrong place to go. Granted I try not to leave bad reviews but this one really hit me personally. Service was fine but the women doing our nails was very rude and sassy especially to my sister who I said its her first time (shes 16). They were rude to other people who came in after us and for the price we paid it is definitely not worth it. We gave this place a try and now we know to pass this place by even when our nails look mediocre at best.

From the first time until today, the Nails Art is best in Wilmington. As a new resident in town, 3 years ago. Ive tried many nails places. First in the other side of town. 17 street and Shipyard, Carolina Beach rd... nobody really knows to do nails. Some places in College rd are as bad. Nails art are great. From amazing customer service to service and quality of their work. You never wait if you walk in either. Give it a try. Youll fall in love with everyone. I love Mimi and the owner. They are always good to me. Funny too.

I love this salon! I moved to Wilmington 2 years ago after having gone to the same salon for over 5 years. I started with a salon close to my work and that place was terrible. They constantly rushed through and acted as if I was a bother to them. After 4 months at that salon I went in and was treated so terribly I knew I had to find a new place. I walked into Nails Art after finding it on Google. Mimi was friendly and greeted me immediately. She took me right away and did a fabulous job! She posted a picture of my nails to the salons Instagram account and I could tell that she is proud of her work. I have been back to Nails Art every 2 weeks since that first experience and I will continue to go to this shop. I have never had a problem and the pricing is very reasonable compared to that of other nail shops in the area. You will not be disappointed!!

I went and god a gel fill in and my nails chipped the next day! Not happy about it at all! This is the second time I went! Service wasn’t good at all! The kicker was I was told once I came back for my fill it would be free! I said okay I called twice before I went in! I spoke to 2 different people a man and a women! They both said okay! Then I get there he does my nails n ask me to pay when I clearly talked to them before I got there! They gave it to me for half price but my nails are chipping and I won’t be back! Not clean at all n they will kill ya hands with the drill if you let them! THIW PLACE IS WHAT WE CALL A CHOP SHOP NAIL SHOP!

Wonderful experience, nails look great, friendly service and I would have went back but when I left there I had paid $45 with a $10 tip so $55 as stated on my receipt. After looking at my bank statement they charged $65 . 10 more than what my receipt says and what I was told. Since they dont keep track of customers they know nothing about it . I would definitely keep an eye on how much they take out, i will not be recommending this place to anyone I know and definitely wont be going back. Very disappointed because I actually liked this place.

I do not know how this salon has great ratings. It looks dirty and the lady doing my nails knew no English. Anything I said she just smiled and nodded. Nails werent even cut straight. Paint on all of their tools. Just not taken care of well.

I think the place is okay I didnt like that they question me as a parent on getting my daughters nails done and not only that but the nails fail off cause it wasnt enough product on the nail too last for two week. But vary nice place inside and more than enough space for comfort. thanks

They used to be very good and I liked them alot. Now they just rush through and very rough. And its supposed to be 25$ and the price jumped to 40$ AFTER I started getting my nails done and the design was just rushed through and my nails looked terrible. Not going back anymore.. :/

Never had a problem till today . As a single mom I cant afford things like this and was given a $100 gift card for my birthday . About two weeks ago I went in for a full in and was charged $40 for acrylic full in NO gel, where she used DIRTY tools and when I said something she acted as if she didnt understand what I was saying . I went in today to explain and hopefully get refunded and was told no one worked there and just the people there today work there as if I was making it up, I told them I had been a loyal customer for years and never had a problem until now and the one lady acted like she didnt know me until I pulled pictures up from years ago on my Instagram account with her tagged in it and all the sudden she remembers, at this point the new manager had stopped speaking to me . They denied everything until I pulled out my gift certificate with someones signature and they then claimed they fired her and there is nothing they can do and brushed me off . This is extremely upsetting to me . And my nails are ruined .

There were only two people working when I went, so I understood there would be a bit of a wait, but when one of the girls just sat on her phone for 15 minutes before calling me over I was a bit annoyed. The woman who ended up doing my nails used a file so hard that it actually cut my skin and I started bleeding. The polish job was subpar and when I asked for something to be fixed, it ended up worse than before. The prices online also do not match what they charge you in the store.

The salon was a little cramped, especially in the waiting area, but they did a nice job with my pedi! I was pleased with what I got for the basic option.

This was an awesome nail salon. All the family actually worked with me. The daughter approached me and did the sales thing...The wife did my pedi, the husband did my nails, and the daughter in law did my nail design..It made me feel good to be treated by all of them..the son was in there and even did some work on other ladies...The salon location is fairly new...they said they been open for about 3 weeks,I have been trying to find a good nail salon because one place made my fingers and nails hurt really bad every time I went, another place just did a crappy job and my nail broke off soon after and the work just looked bad..The family at Nails Art told me I would be happier with their job and they were right...The husband..David..said he has been doing nails for 11 years...and I believe it...It was the best job I seen yet...my fingers dont hurt..the thickness of the nails is just right.,.and the painting of my nails(i got the tips painted) was perfect...and he seemed to really care how they looked because he kept coming back to check them ...after the daughter in law did my nail design..he checked behind her and made her correct anything he thought should be fixed..she was very young..prob still in training...Well I definitely would recommend this nail salon. They are right next to Sams Club, weight watchers, and the new Hibachi Grill Buffet....Go eat, lose some weight, then get pampered, and show off at Sam s Club shopping ;)

At first I really liked this place until several experiences with one particular individual by the name of snowman who thinks he is Gods gift to Nails Art....He talks down to women and is extremely rude, disrespectful and stuck up. I will never go back after the 2 occasions I have encountered with him. Horrible.

Asked for shellac pedicure and when I asked why they hadnt used the light on my toes...they said oh we just did regular polish, guess youll just pay the lower price. After over an hour of wearing their little flip flops, I put on shoes for dinner to only come back and all the polish is ruined. Hence why I asked for shellac. Then while having a basic manicure she was so rough and made me bleed on 2 different fingers.
