Highly recommend! Clean, friendly, great pedicure results. Practicing covid guidelines. They were able to squeeze my sister and I in for deluxe pedicures as walk-ins. The technicians were skilled and friendly. Price was fair for the quality we received.

Recommend they upgrade their messaging service as there appears to be a glitch when trying to reschedule appointments. No problems booking initial appt. Got a gift certificate for mothers day and have not been unable to book a weekend slot. Seems they are very busy which is a good thing. Will let you know what I think after my appointment.

This is my favorite nail salon in Wilmington! The atmosphere is relaxing and clean, the staff are friendly, and their work is great! I also appreciate the fact that they dont slack on my daughters manicure just because shes a child. Others will rush her and sacrifice neatness because shes too polite to call it out...not at TLC. They are great every time!

Sun ☀️ is hands down the best and sweetest person ever! She is very knowledgeable on nail design which I am all about I always come in showing her pictures of Pinterest nails inspo and she never fails to deliver. It took me awhile finding the right salon because design is so important to me and I want spitting image of what I show. The ambiance of the place is very homey and coastal themed to help you relax and enjoy getting your nails done. Everyone is easy to talk with Sun also owns the place and her husband helps out around too which gives it more of a family vibe. Give this place a chance you won’t be disappointed!

My wife has used this business three times before and has enjoyed her experiences with her acrylic fill in. Prior to our LAST visit she had the technician Sonya who did a fantastic job with her nails. When she visited the store last, she showed the technician, the owner of the store, the colors she wanted and the design she was asking for. Without allowing her to pick her own colors, the owner started working on her nails with the colors she thought would be similar. The owner used the picture to follow throughout her visit and the colors and design were not at all what my wife had imagined. It was hard to see that the design was as bad as it came out to be until the owner was half way done with the visit. After she realized the design was not as close to what she imagined we left the store not wanting to call out the owner of all people for her poor work that day. After contemplating what to do, she decided to go back in and asked the man at the front desk who was very professional if we could just get them taken off which he understood was not a tough job. He asked who did her nails and she said the owner and the owner came up to the front desk to see what the problem was. My wife said that she just didn’t believe the design was as good as what she wanted and reiterated she just wanted to get them taken off and be on our way. The owner proceeded to have attitude with my wife saying that no one has ever complained and that she didn’t know what was wrong. The man at the front desk told her again that all we wanted was to get them taken off and not to bother anyone and the owner continued to complain about my wife not being happy. She continued to have an attitude and asked to see the picture again and the man at the front desk was visually just as confused as us of how the nails could turn out the way they did. She then took a picture of the design and the nails she ruined and stormed off as the nice man at the front desk gave my wife and I our money back and apologized as he was very sorry for the scene that the owner made. This bad experience is enough for us to not want to return to this place. The owner had a bad attitude over a simple change. Overall, this review does not exhibit the characteristics shown by the other technicians and man at the front desk, it is directed towards the owner, Sun, who showed a lack of respect, professionalism, and simple decency towards my wife. I am very disappointed as she made us feel stupid in front of the whole store.

This was my first visit. I was impressed upon entering with the look of the place, the friendliness of the lady, Karen who I met upon entering. She gave me a wonderful pedicure.She then was nice enough to repaint my right hand that had a BAD manicure 2 days ago...NOT done here!! I will definitely return for a full-set of pink and white nails!!

Ive gotten my nails done twice now at TLC Nails and its become my go-to place. I appreciate their online booking service that has pricing and makes booking the appointment so easy. Being able to book online makes getting a nail appointment that much easier for busy and price-conscious people. Ive gotten a pink and white ombre full-set both times and both times I have been absolutely in love with my nails!

Sonya does a beautiful manicure and pedicure. I have been seeing her for 3 years at TLC. Sun, owner, keeps the salon impeccably clean and superior service. My only nail salon!

TLC nails is the only place I will go to get my nails done. The shop is clean and the staff professional. The shop has a peaceful atmosphere that I love especially when Im going for a relaxing pedicure. Sun is the absolute best. I know my nails are going to look great when I walk out of the shop. I get compliments all the time on how my nails look.

I made appointments for myself and two younger siblings today. My sisters were scheduled for two acrylic fill ins. When we were greeted and walked over to the colors we all specifically asked for regular polish and after we picked our polishes we asked once more if our colors were just normal polish to which we were told yes. I was having a pedi done so my sisters were taken over to the Mani side and were behind the wall so I couldnt see them. After my Pedi was done I walked over to the two of them and noticed one sister sitting on the bench waiting and my other sister with her hand under a gel lamp. I asked both girls did they do gel on them but neither one knew what the difference was. When I went to pay they informed me that their sets were both gel and the total was 100+. I told the lady at the register that they were supposed to be regular and we all asked multiple times if it was normal polish and were told yes. We still paid the gel fill in price but Im still disappointed in this. I feel like it was intentionally done because they were younger and didnt know the difference. Weve been going to the salon for months with no issue till now and I hate to say we wont be returning.

I’ll never step foot in this salon again. I had an 11am scheduled that I did online. I arrived at 10:55am and was not greeted initially. Rosa, the tech I was scheduled with, was actually back and forth to the color samples two times. On the third she finally asked me “can I help you?” I said I have an 11am appt. she said “ok” and walked away, sat down to scrubbing her clients feet. After several more minutes Rosa gets up to cash a customer out. Still says nothing to me. At 11:05am I decided to leave. I work too hard to feel like I’m not wanted and my money spends just like anybody else’s.

My nail technician was Lisa, a new hire. I took a chance they could fit me in on my only day off and I was fortunate enough to get a nice and relaxing Mani/Pedi(both gel) And ended up very happy with pretty nails and toes! Would recommend this salon and technician! Thank you

Booked an appointment for 9:30 AM and waited until 10:15 AM for them to start. They told me they could do a certain color and then waited until after they applied the acrylic to tell me that it was only dip powder.Nails are very crooked in lumpy. Sun is the only worthwhile nail stylist here. Im so disappointed.they claimed i was late but i came on time and they ignored me while i stood at the door and the person i had an appointment with wasnt even at work yet.

This is my third time going to this nail salon.Everyone is polite and the place is very clean. My only problem is the woman who did my nails this last time I am not too happy with them even though she tried to fix them. The polish is chunky and looks uneven . Ill be taking it off.

I went in today to get Christmas nails and I love them so much! The workers always do a nice and clean job. If I ask for a slight change while they are working, the workers are so nice about it.

I walked in 30 minutes before they closed just to see if they had time to do my nails before the holiday and the owner (Sun) graciously took me. I was hesitant about going to nail salons due to COVID, but I was very impressed with all the measures they took. My nails look great too!

Great service! I called 30 mins before closing and they still accepted me. I got a gel mani and Chi was so gentle and did an outstanding job. I will definitely be back. I chose a color that she knew was very clear and she went ahead and picked out a better one. :) It’s clean and spacious. FIVE stars for me.

I just wanted to put up here that she was AMAZING I’m nine months pregnant and my mother and myself had Gel Manicures and Pedicures by her yesterday she catered the ENTIRE time and made sure I was comfortable and her questions about our baby was respectful and she expressed delight at his movement lol! My mother is very picky and she said she will not use another NAIL TECH but her from now on! So I guess from here on out appointments only because they are ALWAYS busy! Also we were walk-ins yesterday and were taken fairly quickly they also have great safety procedures in place as well. Great Service! Thank you!

Worst nail experience Ive had. Ive been there three times so far and have one good experience after my one good experience I recommended my mother and my sister who went there. Never again for any of us. I arrived at 1:45pm today no one said one word to me until and hour later after I got up to ask how much longer it would be. Two customers arrived after me and got greeted. I understand if not all technicians do all services but you should have the courtesy to verbalize that to a customer whose be waiting for over an hour... finally at 3:20pm I left.. almost 2 hours later with no service and no communication with staff. Im appalled.

Horrible unsanitary service. Implements on the floor during my pedicure. Bad attitude. Waste of time.

I booked an appointment at 9:30am (the earliest) because I had other things to do, got there pick my color, wash my hands, I was waiting for someone to come do my acrylics than some lady told me that the person who that’s the acrylics was not there yet but that she would be there shortly, long story short I WAITED 30 MINUTES to get my nails done. RIDICULOUS! Why bother putting times in your online booking system if they’re not respected, if only one person knows how to do a service your times in your online system should reflect that cuz you’re only wasting your customers time. And time doesn’t come back. An email or call to my persona before the appointment about the tardiness would’ve been nice and professional.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the business and the quietness. The first time I went I didnt have an appointment and got waited on right away. The second time I made an appointment, arrived 10 minutes early and had to wait 45 minutes to get waited on. There were alot of walk ins that day also waiting. Alot of people did not stay. Not a good experience. Felt rushed. Not many people working that day.

Reviews are real... This place is absolutely amazing!! I messaged the salon and within 2 hours they texted back with 2 appointments for my husband and I the very next day at 12:30. It was great to find a place that did appointments, but I didnt expect to get in that quick. I was astonished. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, both put in pedicure chairs, and not 2 but 3 techs came to help us; 1 for each pedi and the other worked on my nails. Let me just tell you; Liz, Sonya, and Karen are extremely meticulous and want to insure every aspect of your visit is pleasant. With our appointments being at 12:30, I had a fill in with gel polish, and a regular, no frills pedi with gel polish (Im just not a pedi person), and my husband got the works! His face was priceless when they brought out hot stones, then scorching hot towels to wrap around his legs. He LOVED it! If you like pedicures and have achy legs & feet, pay the extra and get the $56 pedi with the hot stones and steam towel wraps. It was the best $56 we have ever spent for him! Anyway, with all that we had done, we were back in our truck by 1:30!!!I really felt horrible; like I was cheating when I arrived, but Im glad we went. Ive have had the same nail tech for about 25 years. We were away from home for medical reasons and I had a nail emergency with several nails breaking, getting caught in my hair, etc., not to mention the fact that my acrylics and toes had not been a little over 6 weeks since I was able to go to my nail tech due to COVID issues with my household in mid December and recently with her being exposed.We cant say enough good things about TLC and these 3 ladies! Message or call and make that appointment. You wont regret it.

I have been recommending this place to friends and have been saying this is my go to place. However, after my last two visits I have decided I will not go back. Last time (about a month ago) they were pretty rude (not to me but my friend, and to other ladies coming in to get services) and the lady clipped my skin and left me bleeding. I know accidents happen so I decided to give it another chance. This week I went and I was not pleased. A new girl who I never saw did my nails and they look terrible. Very uneven. Does not look like I got them done at a salon. I’m not sure what is going on, but they are going downhill and I am finding another place to go

I have been coming to the salon for over a year and recommended them to a lot of friends the past 3 times over the last 2 months I’ve gone to see if I can walk in or make an appointment, no one greets or says hello or asks how can I be helped. I am looked at with blank stares and the staff continues to go back to work. The last time I even asked how long would it be for a gel fill and the staff acted as though they didn’t hear me. Even if you are busy you can at least greet a customer.

This is sad for me because I honestly prefer to write good reviews. I prefer to make appointments so I can have my fingers and toes done at the same time. This salon has chairs that are made specifically for that, with bowls on both arms. But after my first visit theyve always been too busy to do them both at once, even though I made appointments. All the nice equipment in the world wont help if theyre too busy to honor appointments. Ill be finding a new salon and will report on how thats going.

This place was amazing!!! I was only in town for a funeral and decided to give TLC nail salon a try based off of previous reviews. They exceeded my expectations. Rosa gave me a amazing pedicure and Sun (the owner) was exceptional with my manicure. I am so sad that I can make this place my regular salon due to me living in a different state. They have endless color options, were beyond professional and friendly and made my nails look the best they ever have! Thank you TLC for the tender loving care you provided to me during my visit!

I hate writing a review but I have never felt more uncomfortable and unhappy with a nail salon. My nails are not even or really the same shape or size. Some way too short and fat. It felt like the woman doing my nails didnt want to be doing them or want to even be there.* edit because owner wants to be rude and say this is fake. I was made to feel uncomfortable, like I shouldnt be there so no I didnt speak up but I should have. The woman never gave me her name so unfortunately I cannot say who it was. I am not being given the option to include photos otherwise I would. I was trying to be okay with how the nails looked but unfortunately the more i look at them the worse they look. So unprofessional.

This place is hands down AMAZING! So I just had a baby 5 weeks ago and I also have a three year old, we moved from Jersey away from all our family and friends to open up our business a year ago! So needless to say after this baby I really started to understand the saying “it takes a village.” After leaving target I decided to give it a shot and get my horrible looking nails fixed up! Well again I had no one to watch the babes so I took a shot and a long prayer and brought them in... I was nervous and embarrassed that people were shaming me in their minds but I stayed anyway.. as I began to get my nails done my usual little angel baby decided to start the grunting noise which all mamas know what that leads to! I started to sweat bullets and was preparing to apologize and leave with one hand bare... just then the owner and his wife kindly asked if he can sit by me and hold my baby... I WAS SO TAKEN BACK with a grateful heart I said yes. He sat right next to us and held my baby who slept like an angel the entire time ... not only was I happy with the service and the environment but the way they care about people is extraordinary. As new moms or moms of multiples we rely on the kindness of strangers a lot, from holding a door to sometimes a simple smile (I get it, I’ve been there kinda look.” Thank you kind stranger for making this world a better place... you have a loyal customer forever

A bald guy with glasses did my pedicure! I got the classic which normally takes 45mins to an hour! He did it in 15 mins skipping through half of it!! I spoke with the manager but i will definitely not be coming back!

I went here today and I have never had someone so carefully fill in my acrylics. My technician, Sun, did an amazing job. The place smelled clean and not at all chemically (which is a big red flag for me). My nails look great and I was treating amazingly. Highly recommend. They also had HGTV on so that was an added bonus!

I asked for coffin and they were oval and uneven ... and my thumb acrylics aren’t completely stuck to my nails at the top ... also they don’t go all the way down to my cuticle :/

I’ve been coming to this salon since the very beginning of it opening. I believe they opened November of 17 and I started going there December of 17. The owner (Sun) has been the one to always work on my nails she’s a pleasant woman, attentive and knows her craft. Manicure with color powder has been the service I get each time. No issues, price is right, atmosphere in the salon, cleanliness top notch! I’ve always made appointments to get my service done. The reason I now provide this review is due to how disappointing/ disatisfavtorty this salons appointment keeping has become; the fact that in the last few months in more than one occasion I’ve followed same method of making appointments for my service and for one reason or another Sun gets “double booked” appointments as I was told. (This clearly not being my problem as I don’t keep their appointment books). I don’t believe Sun is the one booking/ tracking her appointments at this point to be honest, maybe the husband or another employee is failing to properly keep up with it, but anyway, it’s an extreme inconvenience when you work out of the county (35 minutes away) and you either schedule to leave work early one afternoon or and make childcare arrangement so that you can go get pampered and then to drive all the way to the salon and be told that they are sorry they can’t service you because they double booked and the salon is now crowded and will be over hour wait for them to “try” to service you is not what a customer wants to hear.*I honestly recommend this salon as the service is good (Sun being the tech) but be aware that you are Going to need extebded time window to wait to be serviced and there’s just no way around that, they are fast growing salon in the area and their wait time is long, unless your lucky enough to book an appointment that’s properly recorded.*

I don’t want to be TOO mean, because I never review places, but I’m really disappointed. I got my nails done here for the first time before the holiday. They are close by to my house and I had limited time while my kids were with a sitter. I waited for 10 mins, and my pedi water was cold when I got back, then waited another 10 for my service. The tech was really nice so I didn’t complain. BUT It took legit THREE hours for a pedicure and SNS dip. I was overcharged $10 on my services and then when I called back to clarify, they wanted me to drive back to get the money. My nail color now less than two weeks out are popping off and chipping... and I paid $110 for my services (including 20% tip) — I am livid because this was a “once in a blue moon” treat to myself... DO NOT go here.

My mom and I were visiting the surrounding area and we decided to go to this nail salon and hands down had the best service, very clean, super nice employees!! Would highly recommend this place!! Also we are very happy with our pedicures and manicure we got!!!

Good evening! Ive been here three times and like the place, nice nail tech, but I have a problem with, when you make a appointment, like going to your Doctor appointment...you what to not have to wait if youre on time, and I was on time and...they had me waiting for 20 min or more. I complain about three time that I had a appointment and I should have been not waiting that long and my Doctor is always on time and prompt, and I shouldnt had to wait that long, so since I complained and wanted to speak to the manager she called me outside to say she going to talk to me and said I could no longer come there anymore. The problem I had with that tech,really like its no other places to go, really...get real here. I was really thinking about looking AROUND anyway for another Nail Tech, because after I had read there... reviews...there were lots of people saying that they really have you you waiting long, so it just like I did I Walk in, thats when you supposed to wait long and then when you do that you still dont want to wait that long still. Im reporting you guys to the better business bureau.

This place was wonderful. I have little experience in manicures/pedicures, but as far as I can tell this place is a 10/10. It was a very chill atmosphere, comfortable, clean, and my nail technician, Sun, made my stubby little nails look fabulous. The pricing is very fair and you definitely get your moneys worth. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get an awesome mani/pedi for a great price.

My wife and I decided to give this place a try on a Monday night. They had 2 employees working. Two customers were getting manicures and 2 were waiting to get pedicures. The emoloyee told us that they could not assist us tonight because they were the only two working. We were advised to try again another time. No thank you! This wasted enough of my time!

I have been going to this salon for a while and even recommended people but my last experience was so horrible I will not be going back anymore. I went in and asked for a full set of acrylics and asked for an “ombre” color. The color that the nail tech did on my nails was in no way shape or form even similar to ombre. The nail tech beside her kept looking over at my nails because it was obvious that it was a horrible job but I let my nail tech finish just to see the end results. When I saw it I told her I was sorry but I did not like it and if she could please just do one color. Her initial response was to agree with me and say that they did not look good but that she would not charge me for the ombre but I responded that I could not walk out with nails looking that bad and to paint one color. At first she said she could not but then she agreed. At this point I was just irritated because I would of preferred her to just be honest and tell me she could not do what I wanted rather than almost let me walk out with something she even said looked bad. I was still charged full price. My nails were left super thick and basically just looked like a blob of acrylic and no shape or form at all. I had to go somewhere else to get fixed and spent over $100 in one day on my nails due to a careless job. I hate to say that I will not be going back.

This was the most unprofessional nail salon I have ever been to. Kept me waiting over 30 minutes in pedicure chair with feet in water that got cold. Had to ask to have warm water put back in my feet were cold. The technician could not speak any English st all. She took another lady that came in after me before me and worked on her nails while I sat for 30 minutes while water got cold no checking back with me to see if I was comfortable at all just ignored me and continued on the lady who came in AFTER me. Horrible experience. Waisted my time trying to give a new salon a chance since I live in the area. Probably won’t make it treating people this way. Definitely would NOT recommend!!

I love this nail salon!! I’m from Asheville, NC and I came to the salon back in May and absolutely loved and I’m currently in town and plan on getting my nails and toes done again!! Can’t wait!!! Thank you for being a great salon!

Sun did an amazing job on my nails! I got an acrylic set with a gel matte. She and her husband went above and beyond to make my mother (who got an express mani/pedi) and I feel welcome!
