Not enough good things to say about this fine professional company. They came out in force. I had 4 vehicles and 5 or 6 employees here exactly when promised on the first day. All were very knowledgeable, friendy, courteous, and determined to repair my home as if it never happened and they succeeded that goal in a timely fashion. I had absolutely no cleanup on my part. They went above and beyond. No need to call anyone else for your disaster needs. These folks are awesome and they will be my very first pick should I need this type of service again. They are reasonably priced too. Also, there was no wondering about when they would be back for followup appointments because they would call in advance and then be there on time. Dont go anywhere else. You wont be disappointed!

My most recent experience with Disaster One involved a fire sprinkler break in a condominium that I manage. Brittany Butcher, the area Account Executive, was very quick to respond, send me the necessary paperwork to engage a crew, and arrange for dispatch.D1 was very communicative throughout the process and the residents of the two affected units had great things to say about the crew and their work. From mitigation to rebuild, they handled the entire project and did so with professionalism. While you always hope to not need them, I would not hesitate to contact D1 in a future emergency.

We had an incident with a broken water pipe and called Disaster One. Their response time was fantastic and the corrective action, water mitigation and drying process began immediately that evening. The actions taken saved us from having even more of a disaster. The team has been great and communicates with us on the corrective actions taken in order to keep us in the loop. I recently had an incident at my home involving water damage to my kitchen and the hardwood floors in my foyer. I contacted my insurance carrier in a panic because the source of the water was unclear. They instructed me to call Disaster One. The Disaster One Team came on the scene promptly. They were exceptional in how they handled every aspect of this project from assessing the damage, drying the area, and repairing my kitchen and foyer to its original condition. I wouldnt want to repeat this incident, but were it to occur, I am confident that Disaster One would handle me and the situation with extreme care and professionalism.

Recently used their services at one of our 230 home sites in Willoughby Park off Carolina Beach Rd. near Monkey Junction, where extensive damages occurred from water intrusion from the above condominiums multiple leakages. Disaster One was called and they arrived on the scene and immediately took charge. From start to finish they were always knowledgeable and doing an excellent job. Their services will certainly be used again by us through our Management Company CAMS.

I would not wish a water disaster on my worst enemy but If you have one this is the place to call. The Disaster One team was out quickly to assess and start addressing the issue to eliminate even further damage. They handled all the correspondence with our home owners insurance and lender, fighting to ensure no corners were cut. In addition to the original issue we even had extra work done at our expense. Disaster One representatives Porsha, Matt, Trisha and team worked with our schedule often coming or emailing after hours to minimize any inconvenience to us.

BluSky came into my apt. after Hurricane Florence to remove water damaged wall. I was assured that my apt. would be secured after they left for the day. Came home from work that evening and both the front door & back door where left unlocked. They came back again this week to replace the wall. I told Mr Purvis whom is with BluSky & overseeing the work this time about what happened last time. He assured me, Quote, He would personally MAKE SURE my doors where locked each evening before leaving this time around. Well .. I came home tonight to them gone for the day & my front door left unlocked.If you dont care about any of your belongings or the security of your home & enjoy incompatantcy then this is the company for you ! ... I have used Disaserone in Wilmington NC twice and they are outstanding at arriving to the seen and beginning mitigating damage. My first disaster was due to a bad plumber and occurred while I was away from the house. They arrived within 40 minutes and began mitigating. My second disaster was even more impressive. Hurricane Mathew blew off my skylight bringing water into my house. Porcha arrived on the seen with in an hour of my call (would have been sooner but due to the down trees in her path). Mark arrived soon thereafter. He climbed up on the roof during the storm and sealed the skylight. In this case since I was in the house and able to take advantage of their prompt response I saved a hardwood floor that would have been ruined by all the rain coming in.

I am always pleased with how quickly the Disaster One team responds when called out. The staff are very professional and courteous and always easy to work with.

Disaster One came onsite and took charge of my disaster. It was an active leak from an upper unit to the unit below that was causing extensive damage. Their response time was fast and water mitigation process swift. I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to dry out the units in order for the insurance company to assess the damage. Since one of the units was a vacation rental Disaster One went above and beyond and worked late hours to put the unit back whole so the owner did not lose her rentals. I feel like they made me look good as the community manager. Overall, I think they did a great job and would definitely use them again.

As an apartment community manager we recently had three apartments flooded due to a washing machine water hose that came loose while a resident was out. Needless to say we had water everywhere...I immediately called our local Disaster One office for help. They were GREAT! From their first responders, remediation techs and then the final repairs. We definitely recommend Brit, Porsha and the rest of their team if you have any concerns from water damage.

One of the worst experiences Ive dealt with. Had some storm damage during a hurricane. This company initially gave me the run around and had me deal with several representatives, two of which didnt even work in this town. Apparently they gave the most attention to the biggest paying jobs, because even after a month of asking for a quote for the work, Im still empty handed. I would most likely go out of my way to tell a friend looking for remediation to avoid this company. Extremely unprofessional!
