On April 25, 2021 Our Ford Dually would not start at a bank parking lot and we were recommended to call Kirbys. Not only did our driver show up but he loaded our truck and delivered it to the shop with a great attitude and a willingness to help us. The towing cost was so reasonable and we highly recommend Kirbys Towing to anyone! Im sad to say I forgot our drivers name but he was extremely kind and helpful. Many, many thanks to Kirbys!

My 2008 Toyota 4 Runner was towed in August 2016 after being stolen as well as reported stolen on May 8 2016. They did not report my car being in their possession until a month later in September. Therefore by the time my insurance company contacted me the bill for the car being in their possession was over $2000. Since I did not have that money on me they wouldn’t even let me take my three little kids possessions out of the car to give back to my kids. I even had Detective Knopf of the Wilmington Police Department talk to the owner to try and work out a deal and he agreed that Kirbys Towing “ is nothing but a racket in this community “. To Kirbys Towing: you are grimy, despicable, lowlifes that prey on the hardships of the people of this wonderful community. I hope you, your family, and the dirtbags of your company fall upon the hardest of hard times and can’t wait until you meet a customer that won’t tolerate your bullying. You are a disgrace to Wilmington.

Fantastic, honest and friendly service!! The driver (Dillinger? Sry, if name is wrong) was fantastic and took special care to treat my vehicle with care and respect; I had to schedule an inconvenient Saturday Tow and Kirbys was happy to oblige. They got there on time, hooked everything up and we were on our way in no time!! Completely up front with costs and how everything was going to go. Car was towed on a Monday, picked up before 5 on a Tuesday.. $335.00 and had to buy my own Vaseline. Please tell me $335.00 for a single next day tow is reasonable...

Car wouldnt start so I called Kirbys. Driver was friendly and very prompt, especially for a Saturday. He also was very careful with my vehicle as it is customized. price was reasonable as well. I hope I dont have to get towed again but Ill use them if I do!

Money Hungry and Greedy. This establishment wrongfully towed my car (with a parking pass on the dash) within 40 minutes of me being parked. My car was towed less than 5 miles away from the place where it was parked and I was charged $200 dollars. I live, work and contribute my money and time locally. I think it is very important to support local small businesses but when a local business takes advantage of their power to fill their pocket I believe the community should come together to fight against it. There are other garages in town who work hard to earn an honest dollar...next time you are making a decision to spend your money at a local garage, please consider to go elsewhere.In response to their response,There is not an expiration time on this parking pass. 200 dollars for a tow less than 5 miles up the road is absolutely unnecessary and greedy.

This tow company doesnt even know where to look for a VIN number and charged more then any other tow company I spoke with when in rotation with the state patrol...

They arrived at my car within minutes after I called them. The final price was what they quoted on the phone and seemed reasonable to me. Both the person who answered the phone and the driver were professional.

I have never used Kirbys towing but I can say that this afternoon in Pender county one of Kirbys towing trucks was tail gating so bad that if I would have slammed on the brakes he would have hit me in the back so since the driver was so rude I just roll my window down and motion for him to go because that was totally ridiculous 😠

Dropped what he was doing to come get my truck out of traffic when it broke and got to me in 7 minutes. Price was fair and went above and beyond for me when he didnt have too.
