They are simply the best!!Their service is always excellent and prices are fairπTell them Carmen Jones send youπ
The first time I used this business was perfect. Needed with service and they provided it. Got in same day, got the car back same day. I suppose this could have been coincidence, but that didnt matter too me at the time. They were progressive and helpful. 5 star
I was really happy with the service and price. The mechanics came off a genuine and looking to over price and gouge your pocket. This was my first deal with this operation. So take my experience with a grain of salt. I had to get manifold catalytic converter replaced in n my 2013 Rio Kia. I had ordered the part and the charged me around 200 bucks to install. Part was in a very tight space. It would have took me forever to do it myself. I was cool with the price and service. I would choose them first if I need another difficult job done again. Parking is tight, but employees are cool.
The tech went the extra mile with making sure everything in the car was good to go. Definitely coming back here. Thanks again.
The staff here is always so great. They go above and beyond. I will never take my car anywhere else. The mechanic is honest, very knowledgeable and is not going to charge you for something you dont need. Jim, Hayden and Doug take the time with their customers and explain everything. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend this place.
I bought my first car, an 05 Saab 9-5 and whit most used cars there were some issues. I really didnt know where to take my car but I know I didnt want to go to Firestone, Pep-Boys, or and chain like that. SASS was right down the street from me so I figured why not try there. The car needed a new battery, fuel filter and a few other things. I ended up paying $400 dollars total for everything, and was able to get my car back in the same day. The battery its self was $175. These guys are knowledgeable and very helpful. They even walked me under the car to show me everything that needed to be repaired. I have also been back to upgrade my car with a few performance parts and was equally as satisfied with the work. I recommend SAS to anyone looking for a quality, trustworthy mechanic. I will not take my car anywhere else.
This is the best shop I have ever taken my car to, and will continue taking my car to. The staff are great and treat you like family, they bend over backwards for their customers . I wish every car repair shop was just like that place. Thank you for all you do.
I was going to work and noticed my tire going flat the guys at Scandinavian Auto removed a screw and plugged my tire in 5 min wasnt late for work. Thanks π
Took my Volvo here to have mass air flow done.. after being done, car was far worse then when I brought it in.. then was told to ride it out since it was a new part.. went to the Volvo Dealership and was told that it was put in incorrectly and whoever did it could have ruined my car.. $600 later minus the $400 I paid at Scandinavian for a job not completed properly my car works well.. in the process now filing a civil class action lawsuit... stay away from here if you are wise.. I thought the Asian guy was still there, but he sold it to Scandinavian.. Poor decision on my part.. if you see all 5 stars for a companies review, watch out.. this shop really taught me if it looks to good to be true, maybe it is... lesson learned
Behind the easy-going staff is a true master mechanic who not only cares about his work, he cares about the people who come to his shop. Jim is always willing to show you whats going on with your car and give you an honest assessment, and the service manager is very willing to let you talk with him directly. Great work, great people, no drama.
Hayden and Jim (chief mechanic) are soooooo super friendly, responsive and reasonable. Its a shame car places get a bad reputation when customer service is not a priority. Not the case here! If you have a SAAB or Volvo, you must see these people first before going anywhere else. They are conveniently located right off of 95 before you head into downtown Wilmington. They call back right away and find your part or fix you problem!
Did a good job, and pricing was just right. They display high level of professionalism and they know everything car related!
My boyfriend George Williams got his Volvo fixed today. Excellent work and customer service. We will not go anywhere else in the entire state of De. Now I have to take my Nissan in there for work.
Made my Christmas!!! Amazing service!!! Very knowledgable!!! Long story short- they fixed a problem another mechanic said would cost over a thousand to remedy at no charge- this was after I told them another guy quoted me over a thousand... Iβm guessing they couldβve easily took advantage of me and charged me hundreds, but they didnβt... Honesty, character, and integrity are rare these days.... If these are the qualities you want in a mechanic, look no further... Thanks guys for my Christmas Mircale!!!
My car stalled on me. Good thing i was near Scandinavian Auto. The staff there was very knowlegeable, courteous, and professional. They bent over backwards for me and genuinely cared. I am not going anywhere else anymore.
Very honest people ! Jim the main mechanic, takes his time too show you problem or what he suggest. Theyre knowledge on Automobiles is defiantly 5 five. Prices are more than reasonably. I feel very comfortable letting them service my car, Jim (best mechanic) actually cares for youre machine and his quality in work.Would highly recommend !2000 Honda Accord V6 3.02012 Kia Optima LX 2.4
I called SAS after my usual Saab mechanic was too busy to do a small job (thermostat). I told Hayden I would like to come in on a Tues around 3pm instead I came on Mon around 4:20pm....He took me anyway even though they close at 5pm! He changed my thermostat in record breaking time and test drove my vehicle to assure everything was right. He told me he used to work for my usual Saab mechanic for umpteen years and told me he would like to inspect my car before I start replacing random parts so I know exactly what problems to prioritize, DIY and save money. I wanted to buy 1. Strut kit = $900/ turned out to be sub frame bushings = $300/$400 2. Direct Ignition Coil= $299 3. Air Mass Flow Sensor = $125 / turned out to be a Vacuum regulator = $30. I would have spent over $1100 in comparison to $400 or $500. From this point on SAS will be my PRIMARY mechanic......no BS, honest, fast and efficient!!!!
For years I went to another garage where Jim Hutchings took great care of my 1995 Saab 9000. When he moved recently to Scandinavian Auto Services I followed right away. It is a great place and the staff takes care of you in a very pleasant, laid back way and Jim Hutchings is the best mechanic Ive known. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about Saabs, but hes a great guy and gets the job done very efficiently. He makes sure that you understand what really needs to be taken care of and when you should get it done. I would trust him to any job on my Saab which I have owned since 1996.
What a fantastic place, the owner really cares about his customers.
Top notch service center no games just quality service and superior customer service !!!
Top notch mechanics and work performed.
