If you own an import and have some problems then Kevin is your man! I think he could probably take one apart and put it back together in a couple of hours. He and his wife are on the business and they were both great to deal with and I highly recommend them.

Kevin and Becky are great! My husband has a 280Z that couldnt run or drive before it met Kevin. He took it from a project that had been sitting in our garage for years to a real running, driving car. They also work on our Infiniti FX50. Pricing has always been really fair. They even do our oil changes. We havent had the greatest experiences with Nissan working on an Infiniti and with the closest Infiniti dealer being in Raleigh, were so lucky to have found Specialty Imports Repair! I highly recommend them!

Awesome experience! I brought my car in for a repair eval and they gave me honest feedback. And by that, I mean a genuine heres what I would do if this were my car from their perspective, rather than heres all kinds of excessive things we could recommend for profit. Realistic, practical, and in my particular case, easier, maintenance feedback.In a situation where they could have cheated me (as plenty of other mechanics likely would have), they didnt, and I greatly appreciate it. This shop is one of the best ones I have ever been worked with. Kevin is not only a great mechanic, but is truly an enthusiast and enjoys what he does, and Becky may be the sweetest person you will ever deal with. Had all 4 struts replaced and an alignment, they also found a worn out rear sway bar link.No other repair shop had mentioned the sway bar link as a problem. Now I have my Subaru back the way it was when new. GREAT service, quick turnaround. Exceptional work integrity.

Wow! I was so lucky to have found this gem of a repair facility. I am very careful about who I will let work on my Infiniti, and here is a shop where the owners credentials include running an Infiniti and Nissan dealership shop.The store is clean and well managed - polite and informed - I even had a call back on a Sunday after my M35s thermostat cooked my radiator. Monday afternoon I was back on the road for a fraction of the cost of sending it to the local dealership.I recommend them without reservation. Deal with confidence.You will be well pleased.

WOW,FYI / If you have followed this site Kevin has been working on our 83, 280ZX.A little more history, this car has set for some time, in fact the last tag on this car from the DMV was 2011.Reason: There was no one in Wilmington who I felt could get the car running as it should until Kevin and Becky came to town.Now the WOW, the car just passed its NC inspection and now I will be getting a new plate and off we can go again.A little bit about me, I like things right, spoke to directly, no nonsense verbal jumbo talk. and if something needs correction good or bad I have the choice and this is the only place working on cars in Wilmington that meets and exceeds this and my expectations.I will keep up advised as Specialty Imports and I go on with this car but I will say I appreciated the work that has been done and Im proud to call this my car repair shop for all my vehicles.

Moving from Chicago I had my 280z shipped to Specialty Imports Repair with my wifes Cadillac SRX and Kevin and Becky saved the day! When the shipper couldnt drop off correctly Kevin recruited extra help to push the Datsun to where it could be safely stored. Not only did he make my first impression of Wilmington a huge success, my Infiniti FX50 also required some work and based on their recommendations I made some much needed improvements. I could not be happier with my experience. He is a master of Datsun, Nissan and Inifinti but I am sure if you want honest advice about any vehicle and capable hands to get the job done trust your auto to Kevin and his wife Becky. I should also mention that in Chicago I was spending almost 100 dollars more an hour and never had am experience as good as Specialty Imports Repair.
