First let me say the professionalism of this shop is unmatched. I first sent an email requesting a tune up late at night and first thing in the morning I received an email about when I wanted to bring my truck in. The office manager, Lane, made sure that I was comfortable while I waied for my work to be done. She is polite and professional. When I arrived I was met with a smile and courtesy. After my truck was in the garage and Brent looked it over and gave me a list of other faults that he found that needed to be done to keep my truck on the road. These are things that my normal service center never informed me of (new belts, hoses, etc, etc). Had Brent not taken the time to completely look over my truck, I would have been stuck on the side of the road somewhere. When I got my truck back and called around pricing all that I had done.........Labriolas saved me hundreds of dollars. I will recommend them to anyone in or out of town.

My car had its hard brake line rusted out and had been turned away from multiple car shops. Labriolas Automotive was happy to help my car and did not even need my presence when the tow truck brought my car in. Lane kept me updated throughout the day and sent a thorough invoice of what they suggested I take action on. Professional, family owned, friendly, and respectable. Thank you!!

5 stars just is not enough for Brent and his shop. I had bought a truck from a used car lot that uses Labriolas and had a problem the day I bought it. The truck was towed to Brents shop and he met us there eventhough they were closed. He kept me informed on what was going on through the whole process. Honest and trustworthy mechanics are unfortunately pretty hard to come by and Brent tops the list of the best. I will with no doubt recommend Labriolas to anyone I know needing work done on their vehicles.

I just moved from Nashville to Wilmington just over a month ago. And since I’ve been here, I’ve had some serious repairs that needed to be made on my 2003 Monte Carlo! Lane (the receptionist) and Blake (the main mechanic) have gone above and beyond to help me understand the repairs that needed to be made and helped it be as cost efficient as possible. For someone who knows NOTHING about cars, that has helped a lot. BUT I think they thing that stood out the most was I dropped off my car as soon as they opened on Monday morning with plans to pick it up before closing. It was a quick job and they guaranteed to get it done ASAP because I had just gotten it out of the shop just days prior (no fault of theirs, just bad luck lol). I had taken an Uber out to the beach to pass the time. And after a gas shortage, Uber and Lift and all of the taxi services had basically shut down. I wasn’t going to be able to get back to Labriola’s before closing and I wasn’t sure how myself and my friend were going to get ourselves and our beach stuff back home. LANE AND BLAKE freaking drove 20 minutes to the beach in one of their own vehicles AFTER CLOSING just to get me, bring me back to the shop to pay and get my car.The selflessness and hospitality I was shown means more than I can express. The sweetest people who went above and beyond to take care of their customers. I don’t know of a single mechanic anywhere that would do the same! HIGHLY recommend!!! Five Star service and Five Star employees!

I asked a client if they knew a good, honest, and reasonable mechanic. I was referred to Brent Labriola. He answered his phone every time I called, was polite, professional, and empathetic. Unfortunately my truck was beyond repair but at least Brent was honest and straightforward about it. It took me a bit to have the truck towed back home but Brent was patient and understanding. When I went to Labriola automotive to meet the tow truck driver, the shop was very clean and everything went smoothly. Brent spent time discussing various options for engine replacement and shared his expert opinion on different types of new trucks. Brent did not charge for any of this. We are going to take our other truck to him for repairs very soon.

Owner, Brent Labriola, lacks basic manual diagnostic capabilities. He requires step-by-step instruction/direction with his scan tool to diagnose and fix issues a customer may be facing with their vehicle. Does not take time to show any reports, facts or proof of his process of elimination to problems. He runs his shop by creating excuses, not solutions.Brought truck in with symptoms of sudden leaking oil, loss of power, and fuel smell in cab on startup. Brent never got under the truck to look at oil seepage. He stated he pulled a spark plug and it looked like it had never been changed. This was even after it was stated to him that the truck just got a set of new Motorcraft plugs that met spec 8k miles ago. Provided no further investigation as to why the truck would be blowing through plugs so quickly. Instead, proceeded to argue about the plugs condition and how they didn’t appear to be new. He then tried to relate the loss in power to the battery being a smidge low but stated alternator tested out perfect. During his “testing” Brent also never unplugged the two accessories drawing power off of the 12v inside the cab before testing the battery. Again, no further investigation after it was stated to him the battery was new during our 100k service. End result we asked for the truck back due to the run-around and made up excuses on trucks performance.Fed up. We drove the truck directly to Ford and those techs were able to diagnose the truck with a leaking rear main seal and clogged fuel injector. Ford had the vehicle about 3 days and it now runs perfect with no leaks and a ton of power. Really wish we would have started there from the get-go to save time, money, and frustration.Brent charged $95.99 for no realistic diagnostic or service and never credited this money back even after he left his scan tool in the vehicle which was found and brought back after services from Ford were complete. At that time, we advised him of the results from Ford and his reply was, “that’s not something I’d be worried about.” Not exactly a professional answer to be provided to a customer.Save yourself the time, money, and aggravation by supporting another local small shop over this tiny clown. He has no heart and does more of a disservice to customers than anything else.

What an Exceptional Owner and Repair Shop (Labriolas Automotive). He (Brent), listened to ALL of my requests and Concerns. He Understood everyone of my nuances on my 1996 Impala SS since day one. This 1996 IMPALA SS started out as a car that I always wanted when it was brand new off of the showroom floor. back in 1996. I bought it USED Last year in 2019 and it is now a 24 year old Vehicle. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy while raising a Young Family in the 90s. My 1996 IMPALA SS It HAD LEAKS UPON LEAKS, UPON LEAKS??? Brent and his TEAM, IDENTIFIED, SEALED and REPAIRED EVERY SINGLE LEAK to my SATISFACTION! Now, the 1996 IMPALA is LEAK FREE!!!I am OVERJOYED BEYOND measure with his Technical EXPERTISE along with his Customer Service Demeanor!!Now, since I have found a Mechanic who ENJOYS working on SEASONED Vehicles like mine, it is ALL GRAVY from here on out. Brent and his TEAM is VERY METICULOUS with his Customers Vehicles. I had recently moved into town and did not know any mechanics locally. I bought a truck that began to have issues which I thought I could fix. When I realized I couldnt fix the problem I needed to get in quickly to have it looked at. I looked at shops around town and Labriolas stood out to me with great reviews. I called and was able to come in ASAP which saved my day. Great mechanics with friendly service and very knowledgeable. My truck is my baby and they definitely make you feel taken care of. It was usually hot and humid. My A/C was acting up in my work van. I was miserable. I called Labriola Automotive, explained my problem to Brent, the owner. He suggested I bring it by the shop for a closer look. When I arrived, he popped the hood, diagnosed a low Freon condition and clearly explained to me what needed to be done. He quickly charged the AC system with Freon and got the A/C cold again. I was relieved! He charged a fair rate for the work, but more importantly, he dropped what he was doing to help me. I appreciated that very much!

Finding someone you can trust to fix technical things you dont fully grasp is always a challenge. I loathed this process as I moved around the country on active duty. Ive had dealers subscribe services that in actuality I didnt need for another 50k miles. Ive had mechanics make uneducated and lazy guesses at what my cars issue was and want to throw parts at it till something took, at my expense, only to later find duct tape holding the dip stick tube in place that they broke.Nothing could be further from than this at Labriolas Automotive. Brent has been working on my vehicles for nearly 10 years now. Brents honesty, commitment to excellence, attention to detail and technical prowess is the best Ive seen. He is always willing to take the time to explain to you whats going on, his diagnosis plan and solution. Brent goes the extra mile to get to the bottom of your vehicles issue and stands by his work. Hell tell you if and when you need a service done. A dealership would have told me I was right, brought in a salesman to try and get me into a low monthly payment, that they would conveniently finance, where I would ultimately pay way over what my new ride was worth. Labriolas Automotive talked me down, dug into my issue and found I needed a temperature sensor. Crisis averted.I like to give credit where credit is due. You wont go wrong with these folks.
