I should have read the reviews for this dealership - dont waste your time with this dealership. After a week of dealing with our salesman, Curtis - he didnt even know what kind of car I wanted nor the color. Tried to tell me it was my fault that he did not respond for an entire week after running my credit. Then when he did respond - told me the car that was on hold was now sold. Absolutely no communication. Then to end it off with a well if you came to the dealership, maybe you could have got it. Then to be told it was never sold and he was lying!Go ahead and go to Martin Kia - amazing service and very professional! Got me the car I wanted at a perfect price in 1 hour!
If I could give it a zero - I would. This is a nightmare. My car is in another state I live in another state and my car has been in DE for almost a week and still hasnt been completely diagnosed. Its a Kia 2020 Soul and under 38,000 miles. Customer service with this Kia has been terrible. No rentals and they do not call you - you have to call them several times a day - if you are lucky - they might answer.

Started off nice with a kind salesman but kept pushing financing when I wanted loan options. Tried to get the price lower but a very aggressive manager named Anthony told us they didn’t have all day to crunch numbers. I just wanted to see my options and see if I could hit my target price. Too serious and unfriendly. Maybe smile more and be kind. You may have gotten a sale. I do not like confrontation and cried in my car after the meeting. That’s not what you want when car shopping. I hope for future sales there is more kindness out of this place for future customers.
I took my car to the Kia of Wilmington dealership to get a recall fixed and a small oil leak. I had an appointment for my car to be serviced on a Monday got a diagnostic done and found out all the other problems I had on Tuesday. I was told the technician started working on my car on Wednesday. It’s the following week I’ve been calling to get updates on my vehicle. I’ve been told by Kimberly that my vehicle would be done Wednesday of the following week from when I first dropped it off and it’s now Friday with no communication. Every time I call it’s oh everyone is busy or you’ll get a call back and it’s nothing.This is the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been without a vehicle for going on two weeks with really no communication and the run around.I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I be returning. Customer service is everything with out it you have nothing shame on you Kia of Wilmington.

Bought a car there in May 2021 it’s been three months waiting for my Tag to come in . Keep getting the run around. Also was told would get. Oil change on them if I bought the car never got it
My sales persons Curtis Hutson & Angie were so kind, very helpful & awesome to work with. Im sure they went out of their way for me, at least it felt like it. The finance officer I worked with was very good also. He answered all my questions & we came to the best deal for me. Im glad a good friend suggested I got to Kia of Wilmington.
I went to Kia of Wilmington 10/22 and I worked with angie, she was so kind and pleasant and was able to get me into the car that I wanted! she went the extra mile to make sure she kept her communication with me and get everything needed, john the finance manager worked so hard with banks to get me approved with the not so good credit I have! I am so happy with my experience and will refer anyone to go there for a great vehicle!
My car had stalled on a Saturday with out any luck restarting it. I am very close to this location and have had service done on my Kia before. I spoke with Mike the first day stating how although they had some appointments infront up to 7 but because I have been there before they would get me in as soon as possible. Okay understandable. I waited a week to hear from them (I should have called sooner), I spoke with AL this time. Mind you I have now been paying an insane amount of money on a rental vehicle. Spoke with AL who told me Kia systems were down and that they wouldn’t be able to get me in until the end of next week. So two weeks out, again. Called back a week later and spoke with Kimberly who had no idea what she was doing and asked some guy in the back ground how long it would be before I got my car. Another two weeks! Kia of Wilmington would have held into my car for 1 solid month with out giving me any definitive answer as to what could possibly be going on with my car. Your company should owe me two weeks worth of car rentals for giving me the run around and no definite answer except “by the end of next week” every time I called. Funny enough I pulled my car out of Kia of Wilmington on that 3rd phone call with Kimberly and had it towed to Kia of Westchester who got my car in and gave me a solid answer within 3 days! I’m a Delaware resident and I will be taking my Kia to Kia of West Chester 40 minutes away to get any future service.
Accompanied my son to purchase a new vehicle. Salesperson took his car to evaluate, returned and and vegan haggling. Never bothered to even bring the vehicle that my son came to see, and never telling us the percentage rate of the financing he was pushing (my son already had a check in hand from Police and Fire FCU),though he spent in excess of an hour trying to make a financial agreement. My son asked if he should return and try again. I told him no, and he was able to go elsewhere and purchase the vehicle he wanted.
One of the most terrible experiences we have had. The sales person was great, but the owner/manager was extremely rude. Also, the listing was misleading as the car was advertised at CPO but he said that would be $1600 extra!! Would not recommend this dealership at all.
At first this experience was ok, thought I was getting into a great deal but about 2 weeks later after getting the car is when the nightmare started. I was given the impression that my sale was final and everything was good, turns out they had no deal with a finance company. I drive for Uber and Lyft and was told, don’t worry that’ll be fine, turns out that was a lie. About 2 weeks after getting the car, they informed me financing fell through and I’d need a co signer or I’d be paying a higher APR and more money after I had already signed a contract and having the car for 2 weeks and was told financing was good. This is a bad deal which is called yo yo financing. Will never recommend anyone going to this dealer and do your due diligence. Everything was a complete lie just to make a sale.

Shopped around, ended up driving two hours to this dealer because I was so impressed with their staff. Started off communication with Shanon, she was polite, professional, and a wonderful person. My salesperson was Jamie. He worked hard to get where I needed, and was not like most car salespeople. He is down to earth, and was great to deal with. My Kia dealer in Salisbury MD was rude, and terrible to deal with. Jamie reminded me that good salespeople in the car business still exist. The sales manager put the deal together, and went above and beyond to get me to the payment I needed. What a great team of people, and an awesome dealership.I wish them all the best, and will be back in the future.
My husband and I took our daughter to this scam of a place on Tuesday 7/28 to look at a 2020 used Kia. Salesman Jamie literally had us waiting around for hours telling us we were guaranteed approved. It was getting close to closing so we left. He stated that we would have a call the very next day to come in and sign and drive away. Next day waiting around all day no call. We had to call. Finally get ahold of this joker he states got 2 approvals both for $410 per monthwith 9% interest with $1000 down. Tells us what to bring with us (from NJ) and sets up a time for today to pick up the car. When my husband and daughter get there the financial manager tells my husband that its NOW $510 per month at %18 percent interest. That is one hell of a jump. Definitely watch dealing with these scam artists and go elsewhere

My best friend and I went to Kia of Wilmington yesterday in the search of a used optima or a new forte. The sales rep that we had was really nice and helpful. After back and forth with her regarding pricing, she requested that finance manger come over. The finance manger preceded to come over and instead of asking the sale rep to move from her seat politely, he gestured very aggressively with his hand for her to move. After taking his seat he went straight in to talking about financing. I spoke up asking what his name was so that I could introduce myself and my best friend. The finance manger raised his hand to tell me to be quite, after I asked again 2 more times he then told me his name was Anthony or Tony for short. He then continued to tell me that since I wasn’t the one who was buying the car that I didn’t matter is this discussion. He and my friend went back and forth for a bit discussing finance, with no resolution. My friend and I got up very disappointed in the experience from Kia of Wilmington and left. We headed to Martin Kia, and met a very nice sales manger and around 9:30pm my friend walked out with a brand new 2019 forte. I will be writing a letter to Kia of America and the auto group that Kia of Wilmington is affiliated with. If I could give negative stars I would.
I have never had an issue when working with this Kia dealership, as I have with others in the past. The service staff there is phenomenal and always explains, in detail, what is going on with my vehicle. I highly recommend working with Al and his team there at Kia of Wilmington.

I got my car serviced here for a water leak coming into the cabin. They were knowledgeable and prompt with the fix. Also helped me match a paint color and assisted fixing the 2 chips of paint on my hood & roof. These guys are amazing.
I will not be returning to Kia of Wilmington! The service rep along with the manager who runs the service department are very rude and condescending. I Have been dealing with the same issue for over a year and I barely received any help outside of the diagnostic check that was performed. Asked to speak with the manager and I must say I understand why the employees working for him lack good customer service skills. I decided to go to another dealership and within an hour I received more information concerning my automobile problem then I did within the year and a half of taking it to kia of Wilmington, regarding the same exact issue.
Great service while youre buying the car. Two years later trying to get a part replaced (under warranty) and it is taking weeks. It took eight days just to get it in so they could diagnose the problem. Forget trying to get a callback. Thought service would be better since I bought the car here new.

Great experience! I went to Kia for a general warranty repair etc. My appointment was 7:30am, when I arrived Kimberly greeted me and right away was ready to take me car. I was informed during the whole process as to what was being done and how long it would take. Shuttle service was top notch and on time! They washed and vacuumed my car at no cost, changed my battery for keyless entry! I have a 4 year old and trust me this was super helpful! Not one bad word to say. TERRIFIC!
When we arrived, the vehicle we were interested in was outside in front waiting for us. Everyone at the dealership was SO friendly and helpful, from Angie the person who answered my online inquiries to our salesman Nicholas and David the finance person. We were even introduced to the manager and the personnel in the service department. They truly treated us like visiting royalty (smile). Nicholas was very helpful in explaining everything in the car to me, showing me how it worked and even hooked up my blue tooth and radio stations. It was a very positive experience.

I loved my sales person Drew I told him what I wanted in a car and what I needed for my loan to have with it. And he made it happened he got me in a brand new car when I was only looking for a used one. I got one better with Gap and brand new warranty. He helped me set up features and explained the features that the car has to offer. Him, the sales manager, and finance manager all worked together to not have my payments outrageous and where I didnt need to bring any extra then what I told him I had to the table. The experience was just great in flawless it was all done in a day.
Sales and service are always friendly and willing to listen. John sold me 2 cars years ago and even as sales manager now was happy to work with me again. Parking is very tight though if you come to browse!

I walked into the dealership, pretty sure that they werent going to be able to give me the kind of deal that I was looking for. My old car had recently died, and I was now searching for options to replace it, although I was in no rush. Larry Price listened to my requests of affordability, and space for my grandchildren and youngest child. I am thrilled with the deal that he was able to get for me and drove home with my new car today! I look forward to many years of enjoying my new Kia.

My first time in the dealership was the day after I had been in an accident that totalled my old car. Drew Aaron was friendly, understanding, and incredibly helpful. This was my first stop and I looked at a couple other cars before I came back, but I knew I was coming back to buy my car from Drew.After we signed the paperwork, Drew Baker (another Drew, just to make things confusing) came over and showed us everything we needed to know about the infotainment system. That helped a lot as it does so much more than my old car!A wonderful experience and an excellent car. I would highly recommend them.

This is a very easy review to write. I have never had a bad experience with either the sales or service department at Kia of Wilmington. They have always exceed my expectations. I typically take my car in for an oil change every 4000 miles, tire rotation every other oil change. I recently had them perform the 30K check up and besides giving me a good deal on the cost, once they were done they hand washed my car. These folks are great.
I made an appointment for a transmission inspection. They were ready when I arrived. The waiting room has real coffee and good WiFi for clients use . The inspection went smoothly, the customer facing associate was very knowledgeable and informative. It’s an excellent dealership to take your Kia or if you don’t drive one, may be it’s time to consider switching to one!
I had a wonderful experience at the Wilmington Kia Dealership. The manager Tony treated me like family and referred my to a gracious and kind salesperson Mr. Drew. Mr. Drew was informative, patient, and had a million dollar smile even under pressure. My situation was a bit complicated but he still treated me like he was selling a Kia Soul to his grandmother which says volumes about his character. The icing on the cake was the fiance manger David who sealed the deal and mad me laugh. I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family and would hope that others would consider purchasing here.
We had our air bag light on and had gone to another Kia dealership. They said, You need an appointment and more time. I called the Wilmington Kia and immediately they immediately recognized the safety need of having the airbag light checked. No appointment. No wait. Awesome service!

Friendly and efficient
I bought a used car from them in March 2017. After originally setting up a time to come check out the vehicle salesman Joe Hiester let me know that someone else had it out on a 24 hour test drive saving me a 45 minute drive from work to the dealership, which I appreciated. The next day, after the vehicle was returned, Joe did get in touch with me and let me know it was returned. The experience at the dealership was good, even though I was buying a used vehicle, and Joe was able to work out a good deal for me on truck I purchased.

Sales and Finance Manager over promised and under delivered. First, my lease is up in a than a month and I have received no communication from this dealership. Second, when I was signing my lease paperwork the finance manager, Tony/Anthony stated that the $400 return fee included them (this dealership) coming to pick up the car even if I left it on the side of the road! Confirmed today that this was a lie! Third, when I do the online chat, the client services rep cannot offer help, guidance, or answer questions. What is the purpose of this role? It is a useless expense that customers are paying for. As a result, I had to ask Al to have the sales rep Larry email me. What does Larry do? Call me. Not once, but twice! After the third online chat, it clicked in Larrys head to email me the answers to my questions. Lastly, when I signed the lease paperwork I specifically said I wanted to use my plate (it is a Pennsylvania thing) from the car I was getting rid of. Guess what? I had to pay for another license plate because Tony/Anthony and this dealership have NO CLUE how to deal with out of state sales. Basically avoid this dealership! It is not worth the drive, the grief, or the aggravation!Look at the response to the bad review below me. Apparently from the owners but dont worry they passed the issue along to their superiors. Who is if you are the owners?8-13-2019 - Alex, this has not been fixed. Larry and Al have my email address should the owner wish to contact me to correct this issue.Larry also requested that I reach out to Tony because He would really like to discuss this with you. Again Tony could obtain my email address from Larry. If your dealership wants to fix this issue, they could.

I only use these guys out of convenience, have purchased 2 vehicles here. They are stuck in the old typical car dealer high preasure sales tactics, they do not seem to care about customer satisfaction at all.
Dont get your tires installed at Kia, theyll sell you a bogus tire warranty and tell you to contact the tire manufacturer. We bought 60,000 mile warranty tires, only put 25,000 miles on them, one is completely bald, and Dealership claims no responsibility. I have never had an issue when someone installs tires that doesnt back their warranty. Kia will never get my business again, and Im very happy to spread the word.

This was my first time buying a car and I was extremely nervous and doubtful Id find anything. The service at Kia of Wilmington was amazing! From the moment we walked in they greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcomed. Everyone worked to make sure my family got what we wanted and got it for a great price. The staff was friendly and the salesman we worked with was patient and did a great job. I dont normally do reviews but this dealership definitely deserves 5 stars. When I went to purchase my KIA Soul they were more than helpful. By giving me a an excellent loan and rate they have actually helped rebuild my credit rating. When I go for service, they are always on time, get me out of there quickly, have told me how long it will take and what it will cost. They have kept me informed of the mileage rebate on my car and let me know when I am eligible. My original sales person Coach Anthony, always stops by to say hello when I am having service. Customer sevice people were pleasant and rsspectful. It was disappointing to discover KIAs sales agreements are not transferable to relication. Tallahassee Fl presented lifetime new tires and ever service the car was detailsd. While KIA reinvemted their original vehicles many years ago it did not include an upgrade of integrity.. I chose to have the repairs not covered under warranty at KIA and my car had was not detailsd when I picked it up today. Effective on the management and KIA corporate. Evidently, that was my mistake.

I stopped in today because I had a flat tire and they were the nearest place. They replaced the tire quickly and didnt charge me an arm and a leg for it. They also gave me a ride back to work with their shuttle service while my car was being repaired. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and helped minimize the crappiness of the situation.

I went to a Kia dealer because I thought they had decent cars and I still do think they have decent cars but when you go to the dealer and you leave your information for the salesperson and he claims that hes going to get back to you never does I mean to me thats just like a slap in the face and tells you they dont want your business but thats just my opinion
Go in for normal routine maintenance and some of my vehicles obvious problems (noises, lights not working) are overlooked. Happened more than once, paying for inconsistent servicing.
I was treated with the upmost respect. The dealer was upfront and honest with me and each time I have rendered my car for service it has been quick. The service team are very professional and value my time and concerns.
Theyre always super friendly to us, get our repairs done quickly, and work with you well. I loved my Rio and just traded in for a Soul and so far Im loving it too!

Do NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM HERE!!!! I let them know ahead of time about the vehicle that I was interested in. They had a 5 hour notice that O was driving 2 hours to test drive it. When I arrived the vehicle was filthy dirty and no one seemed to care. My test drive was around the block and back. Not on highway or anything. I wanted the vehicle so didnt think twice about buying it even though it was dirty inside and out. Purchased the vehicle and got on the highway. The vehicle shook uncontrollably and the dealership was closed. I drove it home and ended up having the get tires rotated and balanced within the first week of ownership. Now 3 months later, I have a flat. The vehicle came with no jack, no spare nothing. There is a place for them, but they are gone. I contacted the Kia dealership and got Al in the service department he was worthless and useless. Basically said the car didnt come with one and told me that I bought an uncertified vehicle so Kia road side wouldnt help me. I told him of all the issues with the vehicle and he didnt care. Do NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! I will be writing a letter to Kia and also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
