I was lied to about my insurance payment monthly would go down to $200 by installing drivewise and you set me up for reoccurring payments I never approved of so that is illegal. I contacted you about a month ago and you never responded. $759 had better not come out of my social security because you will wipe out my entire check.

Lack of Communication. In all the years I’ve had a policy with them they’ve only spoken to me, maybe once and that was to welcome me to the company. They raised my monthly payment and didn’t even bother to call me to discuss the changes. It’s disappointing to know how little they care, to raise monthly payments during a pandemic (COVID19) and not call to personally inform you is heartless. Disappointing and sad 😞. Daniel Devine is listed as my agent, but who is he? I have no clue and couldnt even tell you what he sounds like, because he has no contact with me. What happened to our local community companies who called you to check-in when they would Make a change? Whats the point in him being local when he cant even call regarding a change? They might as well use robots or an automated system to inform us of the changes instead of this guy. Maybe it would help Cut the coast, and they wouldnt have to increase my payments during a pandemic and overdraft my account😒.

I love Allstate and I have been with this particular office for many years while it was owned by a previous agent. However, since Dan Devine has purchased this location it has gone downhill. I have submitted complaints directly to Allstate and I am currently in the process of switching agents. They never answer the phone. If you leave a voicemail they don’t call you back, but rest assured that you will receive an email soliciting that you buy life insurance. It’s not often that I need to speak with the office, but when I do it would be great to be able to have a conversation with the office that you’ve built a relationship with. I will be building that relationship with a different agent now.

I was referred to allstate when I purchased my new home so I bundled Home and Car insurance together. Everything was fine until 2 months after settling and moving in an inspector did a surprise inspection. After the inspection Allstate notified me that my policy was going to be cancelled because I had a single shingle lose, but there was no pictures sent.This notice came 2 weeks after the cancellation was filed which left me with two weeks to correct the problem, but i still had no pictures to advise me what was incorrect. When I called to ask what I had to fix they said my roof was wavy and they couldn’t send me the picture I would have to talk to my agency. After repeatedly calling the agency and having my calls screened I finally got in contact with a representative. The representative sent me the pictures, but the pictures had no markings on it to tell me what exactly was wrong. The only thing that was mentioned was my roof was lifted and wavy. So I asked to have the inspectors come back out because there seemed to be nothing wrong with my roof.After going back and forth, false promises of setting up the inspections the inspectors were finally sent 21 days later to check the roof. At this point my policy was expired, but I was advised that I had an additional month to resolve this issue and that I would be covered. Once the inspection was done I received pictures saying 2 shingles were lifted so I called to get an estimate from a roofing company. When I got the estimate I was told by the company that the shingles weren’t lifted and that was the curvature of the shingles to run off rain. At this point I was fed up so I switched over to another insurance company to bundle both home and car. After this happened I called this branch to have my car policy cancelled before another payment was debited (luckily I took the insurance off of auto-debit). It took a week to get correspondence from this branch to cancel this policy, and after a promise that the insurance would be cancelled on time (after I signed a cancelation notice dated the day I sign) I received a call this morning saying I was past due a payment and that if I didn’t pay it would go on my credit and the policy would be terminated.I called the national customer service line and they assisted me with the cancellation, because I refused to deal with the branch again. I’m still waiting on a small refund because I cancelled before my payment date, so we will see if they did what they promised.In conclusion, this branch cost me time, effort, and my mortgage company had to provide costly insurance for the “month” extension they said I was granted (which was a lie). If I could give you any advice DO NOT deal with this branch because it will only end up in headache and frustration. They promise that you are in good hands, but I promise you that you are in the opposite.

The online claim process was excellent. After my sons accident we got home, logged on and put in the claim. The form was easy and quick, and it was a relief to have it done so fast without having to call someone.

I have emailed Daniel Devine multiple times and never received a response. I called his office and they forwarded me to another number who then told me I need information from his office first.

Worst car insurance I’ve ever been with. Very Rude & Never Responds. Not to mention I’ve NEVER spoken to the “rep.” I didn’t even know if it was a women or an man.
