Good service. Got right in for pedicures when we had no appointments. The only thing I would have liked was a little more time to soak and more focus on shaping and trimming nails. Otherwise, great experience.

Ive been trying to get my husband to go with me to get a pedicure for years. This year for Fathers Day, he agreed to go with the whole family. He enjoyed his experience so much, that we are making it a new monthly outing for our family. I e-mailed in advance to make appointments. They responded via e-mail, they saw us promptly on time, and they were extremely professional, nice, and their pedicures and manicures were amazing! Bring your tip money, b/c they deserve it! If I could give 0 I would. I showed them a picture he said he could do it. He didn’t push my cuticles back or anything manicure like. He finished and I went to wash my hands and I was able to look at them more clearly. I realized they didn’t look like the picture and even sent a picture to my friend to confirm that it didn’t look right and she agreed. I told the person doing my feet that I didn’t like my nails and that I wanted to remove them. The person that did my nails had left and didn’t return until my feet were done. When he came back I told him that I didn’t like them and that I wanted them removed and he got angry and upset. He said that I wasted his time and should have told him when he was done even though he left. He then said he was gonna charge me for the nails even though I didn’t like them. I told him I would pay for the removal and pedicure but I wasn’t gonna pay for nails I wasn’t walking out with. He and a couple other nail techs started yelling at me and saying that they know the type of person I am and to never come back again. My friend had to come and advocate for me. As we were leaving the guy took my hand and just cut one of the nails off and tried to take a picture of my license plate. All I wanted was them to be removed and the owners blew it out of proportion. DONT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE. They are unprofessional and do not care about a customers happiness. Again I just wanted them removed.

Artistic Nails is honestly the BEST nail salon in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is very relaxing and fresh. They are always updating their salon to make it fit for their customers. They are very hospitable as well! serving you water or soft drinks just making sure you’re as comfortable as can be while getting serviced and pampered to perfection!

Every time I walk in I’m always greeted and feeling welcomed. Jeni always does my nails and never disappoints! Ann is a great business owner and I will be a forever customer!

My daughter went to Artistic Nail based on a recommendation by a nail technician in Richmond, Virginia. My daughter did not like the way her manicure looked and expressed that to the nail tech. The nail tech immediately began to accuse my daughter of being a person who goes around getting her nails done and then stating she didn’t like it. The nail tech made a scene and told my daughter not to return to the salon and began taking pictures of her and her car. My daughter paid for the pedicure as she was satisfied with what had been done to her feet, and cried at that thought of the salon’s accusations. We most definitely will NOT be returning, nor will we refer anyone to this salon. Your customer service matters.

Good service, price is higher than others but worth the extra for attention to detail. Do not let the guy do your hands, he is very rough. Wondered why an older lady refused service with him. He did my nails and I then knew why. Pinching me with his nails as he held my fingers, my fingers were sore after. Hell never do mine again. Buy the ladies and the young male are very good, observant. I go regularly.

Yen did my nails my first visit here and I have been coming back ever since. Everyone is very friendly and they all do a great job. I am very particular when it comes to my nails, so I only see Yen, and she is amazing! I highly recommend her.

Terrible experience. Nail tech did not complete a quality service. When I returned to have her correct the issue, a man working in the salon stated that she left and I would need to return on Monday to have her correct the issue.When I returned she was extremely rude snd accused me of having my nails done over a week ago when in reality it was 3 days ago. She tried to embarrass me by stating that I did not have enough money to pay for the full set that was needed at my appointment even though a full set of gels are 40.00 the same that she charged me for. Gel fill? When she saw that I was not leaving she refused to correct the issue and handed my money Bach and stated last time we will do your nails. Terrible Terrible professionalism. It is also concerning that they do not sterilize their tools for pedicures in an autoclave!! Would rather go to Amy’s nails where there is professionalism, quality of work and they are cheaper to boot!!

I stopped in at 4 pm before most people got off of work. I let them know I needed a pedicure and a fill in. I waited 30 min then I was seated for my pedicure. Then towards the end of my pedicure after being in there for 2 hours I am told that they can’t take me because all of their appointments have showed up. So now I can’t get my nails done because of poor time management. I would have been okay if I was told when I came in that they would not have time to do my nails. Very poor customer service l. I’m not happy at all now I have to walk around for a week with my nails broke because this was the only day I had available.

This is THE BEST nail salon I have ever been to!!! I come to this nail salon all the way from Richmond since I know they will always be able to give me the most beautiful nails☺️. All of the workers are so caring and talented.

Sent my teenage daughter there to get her nails done. She left with a charge of $70 for nails that were poorly done. The tech made alternative design and color suggestions without telling my daughter there is an additional cost, only that what she wanted wouldnt look good. The side of one nail was jagged and she had polish on her fingers and underneath the nails. After texting them from Google, they did offer for her to come back to fix nail., but now she doesnt want to go back. My daughter saved to get her nails done and she ended up spending so much for a simple design and badly done nails. I was going there for my pedicures, which were always meh. I assume it was the older techs I seem to always get who wasnt very good at it. Now after this I will not be returning. I dont mind paying for quality work, but for what you get there its not worth it.

I stopped going here years ago because they had issues starting scheduled appointments on time. I came back this year to find they’d renovated their business but not their business practices. I also found out that they are scamming people. They’re charging $20 more for “acrylic gel powder” and it’s the same exact as regular acrylic. What an unfortunate lie today. Today, I spent 3 hours here although I had a scheduled appointment and shared the exact service I wanted when I scheduled my appointment two weeks ago. The store owner understood because she did my nails the last time I was there. Then, she had the nerve to tell me to soak my nails off at home. And she was absolutely serious about it becuase I started laughing and she told me she was serious. I wasted my time and my energy, and I was treated poorly. Three hours and $55 later and I know I’ll never go here again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else go.

I had never received a pedicure, or massage. 60 minutes in the chair while having the Green Tea pedicure made me feel like a new person!

Depending on who does your nails the quality and shaping is good and they have more design options then most shops in the area if you like that type of thing .I usually go with no problem but after the pandemic The pricing is really expensive compared to the local shops and the experience is not worth it honestly and even with an appointment you sometimes have a long wait .They have no prices posted typically a surprise at the end of service other than a book for pedicures with the cheapest one starting at $35 they put lemons in the water at first I asked for the most basic Pedi they could offer and was offered one around 22$ with a upcharge if you wanted callus removal which as of my last visit I was told is no longer an option . I was told that most FILLS (acrylic) start at $40 and $10 upcharge for gel polish thats 50$ for just a fill and basic color ( my nails were not long at all) . Overall I was happy with my fill and gel pedicure just be ready to be overcharged on the most basic things and honestly kind of basic experience. Also for a kids manicure and Pedi with gel ages 7 and 3 they were charged as adults and my total including myself was 200$ no designs or anything. I took them to uptown nails they actually have kids prices on the price chart under 18 bucks and kid chairs so they can get the real experience and cheaper price.

Very nice and relaxing salon. Natural nails look great. Unfortunately service provider used a well used file from another station on for my manicure. I was also overcharged for services. Two mani/pedis $220.

I used to love this place, but over the last month or so, theyve gotten sloppy. Whenever it is busy, they do a rush job and it shows. Whatever solution they brush over my cuticles when theyre done causes my skin to break & peel off which makes my manicure look very old. The acrylic is wide and too thick and runs underneath the nail. Not natural looking at all. This was literally done yesterday and look at my cuticles smh $65 down the drain. Im going to get them redone somewhere else.

Nice clean place great atmosphere. The owners are great people. Ashley who has done my pedicures has amazing skills. Ashley is very neat and very delicate. She santizes everything right before my eyes and for that I am her customer. I like that they push me out of my comfort zone and are always introducing me to new services that I am not normally willing to try. My sister brought me here and I love it. I brought my husband in for pedicures and he refuses to go anywhere else. Great Job Artistic Nail!

Yen is a really great dedicated nail technician. She always does a 10/10 no matter when I come. My polish always looks smooth, & my shape always perfected. If your getting a mani ask for Yen! If you want a relaxing spa worthy pedicure ask for Tina! Tina has million dollar massages lol. Really good atmosphere & quality work.

I was over charged and had to change what kind of nails I wanted twice because the lady couldn’t do it, she also left polish all around the corners of myFingers.

The young lady in the first booth next to the check in counter that did my nails today she was very professional and did everything I asked her to do and was amazing. She even helped me find the perfect color when I was in a daze of confusion as to what color I wanted. Normally I would only use blacks greys and white and the hombre blue to white turned out amazing. I definitely wasn’t disappointed in this visit. The lady that did my pedi was also amazing. I got the best pedi that they had to offer and trust me that young lady made it worth every penny. I was so relaxed I even forgot I was wearing a mask while she was giving me my foot and leg massage. I will be definitely going back. I am one very satisfied customer.

I have been coming to Artistic nails with my daughter for almost a year now. I have lived in VA for 20 years, and honestly, this is the “BEST” nail salon in my opinion. I have been to many nail salons, from the peninsula to the south side, and Artistic Nails is truly “top notch”! The staff is absolutely amazing, and extremely talented. The owners Ann, and her husband Tan are spectacular! They are up to the latest trends, and are meticulous with detail. They offer a variety of services that will exceed your expectations, as it did mine, and my 18 year old daughter. I will never go anywhere else, nor will I trust anyone else other than “Artistic Nails”!

Buyer Beware!If I could rate 0 stars, I would!!!To start, I got a simple pedicure for my daughter and I and the price was supposed to be $25 dollars... Well the lady doing mine had to remove some rough skin from my heels and charged me $5 more. My first issue is that this is a normal part of a pedicure and there SHOULDN’T be an up-charge for this. Second, she didn’t let me know that there was an up-charge until I paid at the end.Additionally, I got my daughter and I’s nails dipped. I had to pay an up-charge for tips added on my daughters hands, but I expected that. What I didn’t expect, was to be charged an additional $5 for a simple coffin shape on short nails!!!! It was completely ridiculous because all that needed to be done is file a little more on the sides of the square shape!! Then after the nails were completed, they were super wavy and I had them go back and fix it. The nails looked nothing like the pictures shown on google!!!It should have been a relaxing experience but instead it was just ridiculous and frustrating. I will not go back to this place and just had to let the rest of you know because I depend on your feedback when I’m looking for places like this and always appreciate truthful comments.

I love this salon. I have been going to this location for two years and I am always surprised at how much new styles they have. My nails always stay, plus I get loads of compliments daily about my nails!!! My three year old daughter comes with me to get her nails painted as well. They are so patient and kind with her, as she can be a handful. Would 100% recommend to any and everybody!!!!

I’ve been on the hunt for a nail salon near my home for several months and FINALLY I found one to call my own!! Jenny is incredible. They are very professional and personable all at the same time. They take great care of you and do amazing work. The best part is that I do not spend all day there like I did my other salon.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Im from out of town, saw mostly good reviews, so I gave it a try.They could take me immediately. I got the lemon pedicure, which was something I had never seen done before. The woman (Im sorry I didnt catch her name) was great. Attentive to detail, shaped the nails just right, got rid of a ton of tough skin, and the polish was super quick. She wasnt chatty at all, so I could just relax without feeling the need to make small talk, which I loved. She also did my eyebrows, which were quick, painless, and came out perfect. Would definitely recommend, and I will be going back.

I paid $30 to get a gel manicure on Friday March 1st and a week later they were already peeling off. I looked at all the reviews and photos before going there. I even brought a picture in of what I wanted which was super simple. Especially if they have pictures posted of the same design. I dont think the nail tech prepped my nails with the polish that helps the gel polish adhere better to the nail!😡 I will try to add a photo!

I walked in today and didn’t have to wait at all. I was greeted immediately, asking what I would like done. During my pedicure, I was asked if I would like anything to drink (wine, water, soda) and made sure the color was what I wanted before she started. The young woman who did my nails and toes was great and very friendly. I will be back for sure!

Ann, Tan, Ly, Jenny and the rest of the staff are all very good! They are very personable and take the time to do a great job. They listen to be sure they are meeting your needs! Ly does the best waxing and shaping of eye brows! We have had all 4 of those named do our nails and have been very pleased. We try to go every 2 weeks but when we miss they notice and when we do return they are all concerned about where we have been! Love the massage chairs and having a pedi with wonderful leg massage! We relax and have fun when we go as a mom and daughter outing!

Great service! They have a point system which is nice. However, the gel doesnt last and FADES--> the color turns to white/clear over time. I uploaded a picture showing this on the purple gel nails I had done. My friend had the same problem.

My favorite nail shop here in Williamsburg! I’ve been going here for almost two years and they are always very clean and super nice. They are quick but not rushing so your nails always come out good, and the prices won’t clean your wallet out. Their waxing services are also great, I get my eyebrows waxed here and they come out perfect. I highly recommend this shop!

This place is great for pedicures, not so much for non-fake nail services. I loved the pedicure I received here, especially the massage. My regular nail services was lackluster and close to horrid. I have been here 3 times to get my nails done. Each time I was greeted by filing my nail beds almost to the skin underneath, and nails that chipped before the week is up. I will be continuing my search until I find my new nail salon home.

Lady who did my nails was polite. However, my nails did not look very good. She seemed in a rush near the end to get them over with. I got dip and got my old dip off, I understand that the people who did my nails last time put a layer too thick, but she barley helped me clean up my dip covered fingers at the end and one of my polished fingers is bumpy. Dip is too expensive for them to not be done well. Was my first time and will NOT be going back :/

Someone referred me to this nail salon a year ago! I was unsure about this place mainly never I se of the location! Well....that was a huge mistake on my part! Walked in and was treated immediately! I was asked to sign in on the electronic sign in portal! After that the normal process of pick your color, what impressed me the most was that I was seated, right away! The young lady who worked magic on my feet deserves 5 stars for her services, Ok!!! Nut back to the overall experience, the service and attention to detail was spectacular! My massage (legs and toes) was not rushed which is generally the case when I visit other nail salons... I them asked if she can clean up my brow line! Well kudos to me for recognizing that this lady had talents that extended well beyond her foot massage and toe polishing skills! I left out of Artistic Nails feeling amazing! You will enjoy this place!!

Friendly staff. Mediocre service. Less than a week after getting a full gel set with purple chrome powder, the nail on my right middle finger broke nearly to the nail bed. All I did was pick up a book. Not worth $200 for 2 pedicures and a full set.

Visiting on vacation got my nails done here and they did not come out the way I expected them to or explained them. Extremely unhappy with my results. But I’ve seen others come out beautifully. And he gave me attitude when I asked him to fix certain things.
