I love going to Pink Nail 88 for my dip powder manicures and pedicures. I got the nail art the last time and Yoki did an amazing job. The photo is after three weeks and it still looks so good. She is the only nail technician I’ve trusted for the last few years and always book my appointments with her.My mom, sister, and I are regulars and are always so happy with the quality of work of our nails.
I love this salon, the inside is beautiful and it really lives up to its name, pink. the staff are so kind as well and i talked to the sweetest college girl while we were both getting our nails done. the environment is wonderful and warm. found some nails off pinterest and they gave me the exact replica of what i wanted, with a few of my adjustments too. we love nina, she’s so sweet and helpful. yuki is very talented, she did my nails herself and i’m in love. if you want any kind of design/pattern, i’d 100% ask for her. personally, i think this is the place to go get your nails done (they offer pedicures, brows, etc. too) so i totally recommend making an appointment!
Was in need of a better salon and pinkNails88 came highly recommended. I was assured on the phone by Nina that all precautions were in place for the pandemic. When I arrived everything was clean and organized. They took great care of me and were cleaning and sanitizing everything as they went along. I picked up a bottle of nail polish to see the color better and when I went to put it back a young woman handed me a wipe for my hands and then she cleaned the bottle before putting it back in its place. This beautiful and elegant decor is a step above the salons of my past. I am so glad to have found such a great place and wonderful service Nina is the best.
I visit Pink nails 88 every two to three weeks. The staff is so kind and I love chatting with them. My nails always look wonderful! I do dip manicures and gel pedicures. I recommend them 100%!!
I always love coming to pink 88! Everyone here is professional and friendly, and it’s always very clean. And I always love the way my nails look walking out! Yoki is a true artist. She did my nails for July 4th and they came out awesome! This is now my usual place for gel nails and pedicures because I always love their work and it is very reasonably priced. Awesome spot!
This was my first time coming to this establishment and will be my last time! The staff wasnt so friendly and they are very expensive one thing! I have never paid $66.00 for a Mani and Pedi. $ 33.00 for a gel manicure is ridiculously high! Same goes for a regular Pedi no gel!
They do not know how to do acrylic nails they absolutely charge to much I get my nails done for 50 dollars LONG AND GEL I went and got really short nails and a polish on my toe regular polish and she charged me 83 dollars. DO NOT GO.
Best customer service. Clean and friendly. Polish always lasts forever!
The owner and staff were so welcoming! it was clean and hardly any waiting. 10 out of 10!! I will go back many times.
Made an appointment last minute, the lady on the phone was super helpful and got me in before I worked. The man who did my nails was detailed and took his time. He did an excellent job and I will be back!
Editing my review and talking away 2 stars- this is because my nails chipped (gel manicure) 2 days after I got them done! And I mean they chipped a lot - as if it wasn’t even gel polish they put on. I’ve never had gel chip that fast. I couldn’t go back rob see if they would repair the nails that chipped because I went out of town - so I can’t say what their policy is - or is not- for chipped gel nails. That’s why they still get 3 stars. This is the second time I’ve been to this salon. Each time they have done a great job and I am always happy with the results. They are a little more expensive than some other salons but are worth it. They have a large selection of colors - top line products- the salon is clean and relaxing- and the ladies are friendly and knowledgeable. I will be returning.
My basic manicure didnt include a massage with lotion, but thats okay. My manicure was very thorough and neat. My nails were in terrible shape when I walked in and now you would never guess. Good customer service.
I went there with my mother to get gel manicure and regular pedicure they got the right color but my feet looks like haven’t got pedicure and my hand look like didn’t get new manicure at all all they did put color on them and that is it . When I mention about how I feel they act like they didn’t care and had me pay $170 for it. I had no strength to argue I just left. I will not go back there at all and do yourself a favor and stay away from this unprofessional place
No matter what nail tech you get they always rush through it. Ive made the mistake of going back more than once and every time my nails are crooked and popping off after 2 days. Theyre also overpriced. Go to artistic nails.
They give the BEST massage with a pedicure! More nail places should do that
I visited this location yesterday and got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was fine, minus them using pre used files and buffers.. not the best but I’d be lying if I said that didn’t happen before. Now onto the gel manicure. Shaping was fine, she skimped on my cuticles and when I asked if she would be trimming them she seemed annoyed, fine, I’ll deal. We begin the gel application- after the base and two coats I realized majority of the nails were beginning to wrinkle- a clear sign of the gel not curing properly. When I said, these look like they’re not curing she said “you bumped them”.. sorry no, it’s on both hands. When I realized this was going no where a woman who I assume is the manager came over and I showed her, she informed me it was due to a bad/expired base coat. Now that I’ve been there 2.5 hours I said I needed to hurry up and either fix them or scrap them. 1 hour later my 5 nails that we’re wrinkling we’re fixed. Seemed great- now less than 24 hours later two of my nails have peeled from poor application. Unsatisfied is an understatement. Will not be back.
Ive gone here for about a year now and theyve always done a really nice job. Reasonable prices and nice selection of services. They also play nice background music, which I really enjoy.
This salon has a very pleasant and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Nina. She is very professional and nice. I went in for a mother/daughter manicure. She made recommendations based on our requests and the condition of our current nails. I got a French manicure with gel, and my daughter had tips applied and SNS. It was exactly what we both wanted. My daughter was SO happy with her special new nails. The pedicure stations looked very inviting, but we didnt have time that day. We look forward to future visits.
Wanted me to lay my head on a lil dirty pillow that not covered but reused by everyone !
My nail tech was out of town, so I did research and I gave this place a chance, because the reviews were fairly good. My nails are medium length, coffin shape, with gel. So I figured it’d be easy to keep my shape, this fill would go well. $45 later, and returning to them twice in 2 days has proved me that you should never trust reviews. I was charged for having “extra long nails” even though I was just getting a fill on medium length. I was charged a regular polish change price. If I am going to pay $45 I want more than just 1 color and a half ass job. She had me filing my own nail straight because she couldn’t see joke crooked and jacked up she had filed my nails. Moral of this, I will not return, but I do appreciate them trying to “fix” it. I guess everyone can’t make a coffin shape or a top straight.
I went there Aug 31. I got a dip fill (real nails) & pedicure. In total it was $80.. my polish didn’t even last week on my toes. Shaking my head! Also I’ve been getting dip polish for about a year now & never have i ever had the actual dip polish chip even after having the same polish for over 2 weeks. With this shop my dip polish chipped also on my nails from the bottom 😒! I’m very disappointed, for the prices they charge they should look into some better polish! The environment is great & they are friendly but as far as that polish it’s a NO ! Also the shaping of my toes was ugly !
Came in to get a gel polish manicure as a walk-in. I was immediately brought back to get my old polish removed (needed the soaking) while one of the techs finished up with another client. Vivian was very thorough with my manicure and the gel french polish is perfect! I had asked about art work and I only had to wait a couple of minutes extra as that wasnt her specialty. Jovi asked what I was looking for and I quickly pulled up a couple of pictures. Im so used to techs only doing one type of flower that I wasnt prepared! She reproduced the picture almost exactly. All told it cost a little more than Im used to, but I think it was worth it for the quality. I will definitely be back!
I dont normally do reviews but I felt the need to defend the workers at this salon. I was there at the time that the customer who just gave them a 1 star. They incident she talks about where she said they laughed at her, pointed their fingers at her and were rude to her. That is all a lie. They were very nice never raised their voices and did ask her if she wanted them to fix it. She was very rude and was screaming at them. Yes, they spoke to each other in a language she did not understand but it was very quiet and not disrespectful and of course it was about the situation that was happening. It did not happen as she is portraying it to be. The salon is very nice with soft lighting and soft instrumental music. We were very happy with our experience and will definately go back.
My mother and I came in for 2 basic pedicures. We called on Wednesday to make an appointment for later that same day. They were able to get us in perfect. The decor is beautiful and calming with the classic massage chairs. You can tell they keep their equipment very clean. The girls did a very through job. Scrubbing away any imperfection off our feet. I think the prices are very reasonable for doing such an amazing job. The atmosphere feels very calming and almost private. We will definitely make this our new mani/pedi place.
Without hesitation, I love their service. Im diabetic and regular footcare is essential. Couldnt ask for more caring service. Busy place, and appointments recommended. You will become a regular just like me.
Love the attention I get each time I visit. I feel like Ive made good friends. Im always taken care of. The price is good too.
Very friendly, professional, clean, super high tech massage chairs! Love ❤️ this place. Owner is so nice offered me real tea! My wife and I will make this our new spot!
I went here for about 2 months but I will never return again. I went there yesterday morning and even showed her the picture of exactly what I wanted and she gave me nothing like the picture!!! Also even if you make an appointment they will get up in the middle of doing your nails to go help other customers, you will be there a minimum of 2 hours!!!
My mother and I went here about a month ago. We each got a pedicure and I got a manicure. I paid about $120 for all services, which was standard I believe, a bit pricey but I wanted to show my mother a good time. I noticed how my stylist didnt put in as much effort, alot of her actions just screamed mediocre. I tried to ignore the fact that this service (which I paid before hand) wasnt what I expected. I just summed it up to be something I wouldnt look forward to in the near future and just decided I wouldnt go back.
Great service very relaxing environment and these nice ladies gave me exactly what I asked for in no time at all. Awesome place to go get your nails done!
My husband and I stopped in to get pedicures. We picked the spa pedicure. We recieved great service and the ladies did an excellent job! I left with brand new feet!
LOVE Pink Nails 88. The atmosphere is calming and the staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable and everything is incredibly clean.
I loved My nails the first day, it was a bit pricy for only a fill with gel polish, But Less than 24hours my nails are chipping HORRIBLY. You’d think for 50$ they would last at least a month. Im going back to get them fixed and hoping they don’t chip again. Probably won’t be returning.
A young lady met.me at the front desk and looked at me if she was saying why are you here. I could tell that me being black and the only black in or entered the spa the entire te time I was there made her feel uneasyShe didnt speak english very well or pretended she couldnt. While doing my feet she acted as if she was afraid to touch a blk. Persons feet. She didnt say a word to me the entire pedicure Just an awful experience. Not enough room to type my.concerns on .youn sight. If you are .black . Please dont patronize this spa
Had a great experience. The pedicure i got was very nice. Nice ladies doing a great job.
This is the best nail place in Williamsburg! I love the ladies there, Celine is wonderful! I will never go to another nail salon again.
I wish I could give less than 1 star. My friend and I wanted to get a mani pedi for a wedding this upcoming weekend and wanted to relax after a busy week but our experience was far from relaxing. Not only did they have absolutely no music playing and you could hear a feather drop with the awkward silence of nobody speaking, their children were running around the salon. My friend was getting her pedicure and had the massage chair on and the lady working with her huffed and puffed for a good 2 minutes then finally said “turn off the massage you’re moving too much” which keep in mind she wasn’t even painting her nails yet lol then while she was getting her manicure the same lady not only cut her once but twice. She told the lady that it hurt and she said “well stop moving”. Her finger bled and she kept on and didn’t stop. I hope they sterilize their instruments because that’s disgusting. For myself, the lady working with me was very nice but it has not even been 24 hours and my nails have chipped paint and no I haven’t done anything crazy for them to chip like this. To finally finish this awesome trip off, when checking out the lady who cut my friend seemed upset we didn’t have cash to tip. They are lucky we even tipped after this awful experience.
Service is great, always accommodating and they are friendly.
So clean so peaceful the environment is very relaxing and everyone that works there does a wonderful job
Classy atmosphere and they always do a great job.
This review will be a big long. If you care about Williamsburg, the elderly and about decency, read on.I went here today for a quick mani. It was dark, quiet, somber. It wasnt lovey or fun. No music. No windows. Low lights. I decided to stay because they had a chair open and I was in a bit of a hurry.I showed the tech what I wanted. Oval black nails with various dotted designs on two nails. She assured me that was super easy and all told it would be $35.45 minutes later I have tiny squares on my fingertips. Thick, thick ones. It looked like someone glued Chicklets to ny nails. She pronounced me done and gestured to the register/desk. At this point I ask here why she didnt add the colored dot/design. She said she did. My plain black as tar square fingertips disagreed. I showed her. She spoke to other employees in an Asian language and it was very obvious they were discussing me. The clerk then told me I had to pay $41 first and then shed fix it. However, if I wanted her to fix it the right way, it would be an extra charge to remove the black polish and start over. I balked, of course. Why the hell should I pay two more service fees to correct the mistakes they made?! At this point I asked why the original fee went from $35 to $41, anyway. She said that using moisturizer (never asked for that) was extra. Id not asked for that so I dont see why Id pay for that. She for argumentative. Ah began yelling loudly in an Asian language at two other women there. They all had an animated and loud exchange that ended in one of them pointin at me, yelling innwhag appeared to be an angry manner. I was incensed. At this point I am furious. They mess up my manicure, they refuse to fix it, they have yet to offer a single attempt at an apology and tonadd insult to injury, they told me I have to pay fees to fix their mistakes. Me. Theyre going to bill me to fix the manicure they messed up.At this point I told them Id pay them $20 half the cost they asked for because they not did half a job. More yelling in an Asian language, someone insisting they the job right that its me and my white eyes that cant see color (adding a racist jab in top of all else really was the icing on the cake). In the end, they stood laughing and pointing at me, making fun of me in whatever langage it is that I dont know. I left humiliated, angry, upset and more.If they did this to me, a tall, healthy woman, what do they do to the hoardes and hoardes of elderly who wouldnt ever know theyre being double billed or screwed over? What these women did was disposable. They shouldnt be in business. Theyre horrible nail techs. Horrible. I doubt half of them have a license or have had any training. Even if they had, they did a god awful job but more importantly, they charge customers for their mistakes. They slip fees here and there on to your bill and milk every client do an additional $3 here or $2 there. You hardly notice! But theyre doing it. And I caught them. And I called them out on it. And they laughed at me in VietNamese (which is what I suspect that language was). They made fun of me, tried to milk me for a few more dollars and laughed some more. What do they do to the bus loads of elderly? My god I can only imagine how theyre screwing them all over. This town has dozens and dozens of elderly communities that take bus trips to things like nail salons. Please god let the old ladies never visit PinkNail88. What I witnessed today, the deception and the made up fees make me think the authorities might look into their books and permits and other legal things. I am 100% sure theyre not legit.Yay away from PinkNail. Juar stay away. Worst salon in town. Perhaps the worst business of any kind in town.
Had a pedicure, one kids and one adult done with a kids polish. It was overpriced and the pedicure was bad. The next day it did not even look like I had one done. This is was the second time I have been there and neither experience was good.
You either need a bell on the door or a bell on your desk. I sat not even noticed for over 10 min.!
Good fresh food.made to order on most items.
So slow. I brought my wife here to surprise her with a mani & pedi and made an appointment for 5PM. The technician finished the pedi around 6:10. My wife then waited over 20 minutes for another technician to become available. The manicure took another 40+ minutes.
Inexperienced nail tech!! Overpriced. Never again!!
So far this is not a good experience. The salon scheduled my group of 3 for a 100pm appointment and we stood around for about 10min. Until they sat us for our pedicures with cold water. Once I finally asked to heat the water up, we sat until our water got cold again. Its now 125 pm.
Service is great, people is super friendly.
Very expensive, been to a variety of nail places and this was the most expensive place although it is clean.
Polish was off in days
Way over priced
