Normally I do not review businesses negatively, but I am very disappointed in my results. After requesting a color in the book, the color of the polish came out totally different. The salon needs to update their book. My nail technician was unfriendly as well. Overall bad experience and do not recommend.

Very nice storefront and the people that work there are so kind and friendly. The service was subpar from the photos and I doubt I’ll be returning. I got a regular manicure and pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was great. Different lady did my manicure and well…judge for yourself.

Visit here for the first time. The owner was great and greet everyone mostly by name. They were very professional and knowledgeable of each customer. I will definitely recommend.

The nail tech that usually does my nails was off the day I went so I was given someone else. I wasn’t happy at all. They didn’t use the right acrylic or did the right shape.Or color. I requested to have the nails removed off my hands completely but instead she just removed the color and left the acrylic on. Disappointed

I tried this salon bc it was closer to my home. I have to give it to them for their politeness, however, the service overall was not up to par. I went for an acrylic fill-in with gel polish & gel polish change on toes . I wanted 5 shades of orange, they only had 2; the gentleman rushed with the polish, I’m mean literally brushed polished on & hand under light. Side of nail not polished well and the lighter shade could’ve used another coating. When getting my toes polished the lady tells me $18 for toes & $30 for nails, I have to pay now—-I said pardon me—-I’m thinking, I have seen 4 people get their treatment, go to the counter,pay, and then walk out that door! Thank goodness I’m a calm person, I paid and gave a 30% tip because you won’t have to worry about me returning. Back to Allure I go.

Everyone is always so friendly and nice. Theresa and I have got to know each other so well that I just let her do her thing. From the first time I ever went there and met Kelly and Teresa there personally I havent went anywhere else. They do such great work. They are wonderful they make me feel like I am at home. This is by far the worst place I ever went to get my nails done. The little guy in there did a terrible job. He rushed through it and didnt even wait till the gel polish was dry. My nails look disgusting. I would never go here again. Im sure they might have better people in there but he was the worst. Paid $40 for ugly half done nails never again!

Really really bad. there glue doesn’t work bc they always fall off as soon as i get them done. the lady who did my nails was basically on her phone the whole time and they are rude and disrespectful to me bc of my age and there service is bad and messy. don’t go here bc i sure as hell won’t ever go again!

I had Hannah do my nails when I first started going to Creative Nails but she has left to further her education and now Kelly is doing them. They both are great and I love the salon. It is very relaxing and clean and they take pride in their work. This will be my only nail salon for here on out.

Doing Something Different on purpose

This was my first visit which is why I gave a four start rating. I have been in the area since November and was looking for a local nail shop instead of going to Prince George once a month. After checking reviews, I made an appointment with Kelly and I was not disappointed!. The shop was open and bright and the staff are following CDC Guidelines on distancing, cleaning, gloves, mask and partitioning.Kelly took her time, got to know what I was used to and how I wanted my nails. She did a great job and really knows her craft. I was very impressed at how well she shaped my nails and the time and effort she made to make sure I was satisfied. Ive already booked my next appointment!

Kelly is amazing, fast and professional. Shes the best acrylic nail artist Ive had.

Had a bad experience at another popular nail salon in town so we went in search of another great option. Tried a few others before we made it to this one and our search is done. This place was awesome—friendly service, clean atmosphere, offered the variety of service we were looking for and also love that they take sanitation as seriously as I do. I highly recommend this business.

We absolutely love going there. We drive 30 minutes from Yorktown to this salon. Kelly the owner is the sweetest. Theres always repeat customers who the employees know by name. So shows the loyalty and quality that customers come back for!! Teresa does great quality. Kim does great pedicures. My husband loves getting the mens sport pedicure!

Staff very nice and professional

Very basic experience. Guy doing my pedicure didnt try and have any conversation with me. Didnt use spacers between my toes when painting toenails. Not sure if I will come back again. Guess you get what you pay for...

While vacationing in the area, I used Google maps to find a nice place for a pedicure. Creative nails did not disappoint. They took my friend and I in with little wait time. The place is clean and organized and smells great. The staff is courteous and the massage was heavenly. Definitely worth visiting!

I highly recommend Ms. Kim. She was extremely thorough and did an amazing job. I am a hairstylist and am on my feet all day. My feet feel rejuvenated, soft and fresh! I actually fell asleep in her pedicure chair so that says something. Such a great experience!

Ive had pretty nails thank to Creative Nails. Actually, I get many complements. The salon is so nice with fresh asmosphere and clean equipment. Service is good, especially massage service is the best. I feel strongly relaxing. The lady here, so friendly and amazing at painting nails. Lets share. Ill come back soon!

I love coming here! They always do a great job! I always get the gel manicure and spa pedicure. The place is clean and the nails techs are great. Ive never had to wait for a spot but my guess is that they do get busy on the weekends.Great service, great prices, great nails!

I was faithful for all 5 years I attended William and Mary. Everyone there is fabulous and everyone does a great job. Customer service is always superb. They take their time and did not rush you in or out. I remember when I was 38 weeks pregnant, I had fallen asleep during my pedicure. I woke up maybe 20 or so minutes after she had finished and was shocked nobody told me to beat it jokingly 😂 (well established relationship with them). They had told me, You need your rest. It was so kind and compassionate. Could not ask for a better salon!

Great job on my pedicure! My toes look great and they were able to lay some onlay on my toenail that was split to keep it strong! Total was only $27! Great deal!

I have been here 3 times to get my nails done. The first time the Polish shellaic polish lasted. The second and third time I dont know what happened. The polished chipped. And it didnt last one week. But the customer service was good. I dont think the well get my service for a while though.

I had to go home and fix my nails after leaving, I didnt even bother getting them painted. I asked for rounded and pointed,they were ALL crooked and uneven. Then the tech tried to short change me, hoping I wouldnt notice. For all of this, she got no tip. I will never go back there. Not a good experience for me.

I normally dont leave reviews but this shop I had to. I normally got to City Nails across the street but I decided to give Creative Nails a try. Now why did I do that. Its was time for me to get a fill in and some of my nails had lifted. I also had one broken nail. The lady who did my fill in attempted to fix the lifted nails but, only made it worse so, the attempted to fix the nails with supper glue. She proceeded to apply the new layer of acrylic but, you still could see where the nails had lifted. On the other note I had a broken nail that she attempted to fix. Not only was the nail tip she glued on was too small, the nail shape was no where near the rest. I let the lady finish drilling and buffing but, DID NOT, I REPEAT DID NOT let her polish my nails. I had to get out of her chair at that point. I told her I had somewhere to go. She then offered for me to comeback the next day to get them polished, I kindly declined. Unfortunately I paid for her services and drove straight across the street to my original nail shop.

I really wanted to like this place because of its convenient location. However, I had a very inexperienced nail tech (not her fault), she did not receive the support from the others that she needed, and I was overcharged. For the wax, we went into a back room with a more experienced lady. They did not supply a clean towel for my head, and the experienced lady did the first side, but left the room for the inexperienced lady to do the second. She pulled the wax strips in the wrong direction and I tried to talk to her about it, but she didnt understand me due to a language barrier. For the nails, she had to wait on the man to tell her what to do while I sat with my fingers in cold water. She stood beside him for several minutes before he would talk to her. I had to ask her to re-file the rough edges before applying nail polish. She was not wearing gloves, and used her own nail to dig around my nails and to take off extra polish around my nails. Several hours later, and my fingers still hurt, so I soaked them in alcohol when I got home, just in case. The light for the gel was not working properly, so she beat on it every time I needed to put my nails in. She did not know how long I needed to let them sit, and I had to tell her. She tried her best, but she had no support from the others who worked there, and it was evident they knew what was happening. They had other customers there, and to be fair, they seemed like regulars who must have had very different experiences from mine. The final straw for me, though, was when I went to pay. The prices were clearly listed on the board beside the register, but a different lady (possibly the owner) charged me $8 more than what was posted on the board. To overcharge me with the experience I had (that she witnessed) made me very angry. I left a 20% tip for the tech who did my nails, because I have no doubt she didnt earn many today. I will not return to this salon; not because I had an inexperienced tech, but because the rest of the staff did not support her in trying to learn, they did not step in to help when she was obviously floundering, and they overcharged me.

The shop is clean and has a wide variety of options. The staff is friendly and accommodate your requests when possible.

Although I did get there at 7 the service was TERRIBLE!!! I was visiting from ohio so I thought the prices were great compared to our prices. You def get what u pay for here. The nail tech rushed my whole process and basically kicked me out the nail shop at 7:50 pm...they close at 8. My nails were not dry at all and I made it aware that I was unhappy and all he said was ok. Never coming back there again when Im in town.the only thing I liked was the shape of my nails.

I was visiting Williamsburg on 8/15/15 and choose creative nails, and got my feet done by Megan I wish I could have brought her back to brandywine with me she had the best attitude & made sure I was comfortable & satisfied and I wad very, I was so happy that I will take the 2hr ride and just make a day of it, to have Megan service again, Happy Customer

Ladies were not pleasant, with both pedicure and manicure nails are half painted. on the toes specifically they left 2/3s of the nail without polish. after they finished my pedicure, they used THE SAME tools on another lady without cleaning them. will NEVER go back.
