Mr Eddie allowed us to get our faces created into the Lion King characters. These ladies did a great job for our presentation. It is a school where learning is happening. We’re the canvas of young students. I would sign up here to have a skill under my belt. For those who come here without an understanding heart, these lovely ladies, probably shouldn’t come. Students are learning are here to practice. Beyond reasonable prices. Tipping happens in places where the hair dressers earn more, we need to practice tipping. My entire team adores the group of women that helped us. Thank you again.

One of the teachers totally discounted the hairstyle I asked for and sent me out with the same style I came in with except for a small trim.

I really love coming to school everyday great atmosphere and great teachers. Ms Jen & Ms Jean are amazing teachers. Can’t wait to graduate and put all of my new skills to work.

Everything is good. But when I do call to schedule an appointment it be hard for people to answer the phone.

Cant complain its students doing the services so the process is a lil slow. There are instructors on the floor with the students giving feedback. Eat a snack/meal before you go, charge your phone and youll be alright. Remember theyre learning so be patient.🙏🏽

I went there for the first time today. I had an amazing experience. My stylist was knowledgeable and courteous. Very professional! The instructor was attentive and did a great job supervising her student from a comfortable distance. Definitely will return and I recommend this place.

I went in to have partial foil high lights for $25.But when I go to check out they tell me it’s 40.00, I asked why is it 40 dollars I was told additional product was added without letting me know they was doing so. Didn’t like the fact I wasn’t told a head of time for me to make that decision not cool.

A young lady name WEST did my wash and set and I was so in love with my results. That young lady has a gift.

Kendra did a balayage on my hair. She was amazing. I will definitely be coming back!

I am currently a salon student at Empire Beauty school in westpalm okeechobee. When i signed up i was under the impression that i would be learning from teachers who wanted to see their students succeed. Sad to say, that is not the case . The only teachers we learn From are Ms.Jen & Ms.Kayla . I was in pre- salon for 3 months with Ms.Rosche & i didnt learn anything from her. Instead of teaching Ms.Rosche would much rather sit at the podium on her phone for hours . ( Like right now for instance it is currently 11:23 am, class started at 9:00am and we haven’t done anything . Everyone is currently on their phones doing their own thing while she is playing candy crush on her phone) . While in pre-salon, I couldn’t wait to get out onto the salon floor where I would finally be learning from Ms.Kayla & Ms.Jen & also Mr.Gregory ! I was there for about two - three weeks before The Covid-19 and i learned more in those few weeks than i did in those three months of pre-salon . Sadly, after Covid, our dean of the school Mr.Roy thought switching our teachers would be a solution to students not learning in pre-salon . Although, it may have helped the pre-salon students, now us senior students have Ms.Rosche again & its taking a big toll on us & our education because we are no longer learning anything . Instead we sit in class and goof off all day . Mr.Roy seems to have no care for education or us in general. All the senior students came together one day in Mr.Roys office to discuss or issues and concerns about our education, we tried to explain to him that we weren’t learning anything in class with Ms.Rosche . & Instead of listening to us, he continued to cut us off and talk over us telling us stories about his brother & also saying “ I wont go to jail for you guys” which confused us all cause we had no clue as to what he was talking about. After about 45 mins of his rambling he finally told us some changes would be made . This was FALSE ! Us salon students are still not learning anything and no changes have been made at all . The only time Mr.Roy shows any “real” concern about us students is when corporate is here and he is trying to make sure we are all in dress code & if we happen to be out of dress code with corporate present he threatens to send us home . Which is VERY hypocritical because the dress code is HARDLY enforced ! They pick and choose who gets to come out of dress code when ever they please while other students HAVE to oblige or else they threaten to clock us out . This is EXTREMELY unfair ! I have many many MANYY more issues about this school that most likely other students would agree with, BUT I’d rather not type up a book .The ONLY positive thing about Empire Beauty Is Ms.Kayla & Ms.Jen . These are the only two teachers who truly care about us students ALL EQUALLY! They help us in every way they possibly can . If it wasn’t for Ms.Kayla im not sure if i would have made it through pre-salon . Empire needs a CHANGE ! A REAL CHANGE ‼️

I’ve been going here ever since they opened & they are awesome! Always helping you out in a decision. I recently had Elyse Morin & she was amazing. She did my hair color & it came out so beautiful! I couldn’t be more thankful plus the good hair cut design she wanted to do as well made it even better.

Well it was my first time walking in there because I was curious and I would say the lady Shani was nice and went over everything in full detail. The students there could of been more welcoming but thats all I am going to say because I really want to get into this school. Overall I would rate this a 5 star. Beautiful place!

Such a great place! Elyse that did my hair was so awesome and professional. I enjoy being able to help and I get the security of knowing they are being watched and want to their best. So worth it!

I love this school I just received a hair color treatment came out amazing Lina did it she Is graduating in Feb so Id totally recommend this place I was nervous at first my mom is a Beautician and my hair was virgin color before. She took it to a whole new level of sexy. The instructior gave the perfect amount of guidance. My advice for anyone is make shore you go early and give yourself and student more than enough remember they are learning. All in all amazing people, school,and brilliant artist!

Dont come here if you want to learn they barely teach you the teachers show u how to do it for like 2 seconds and then send you back to your manikins and expect you do know what to do you basically just teach yourself the teacher pick favorites and talk about other students they tell you your going to learn how to do so many things and really only go over hair cutting and coloring you wont learn how to do nails and all you learn about skin is from a book they mess with your hours they will clock you out without you knowing this school is honestly a waist of $20,000

Elyse Morin is one of the best stylist this school has seen. Also love hearing about the awesome experience shes had thus far. Would recommend her and this school to others looking to get in the field.

I went there 3times hit or miss I won’t rate them for service they are students and u get what u pay for im rating them on customer service horrible !!!! these girls need lesson on customer service first before they learn to do hair are they being taught that need to have good customer service to get clients and keep clients???? Do u no that getting clients is also based on referrals? Attitude goes a long way, only one exception that beautiful girl at front desk i don’t no her name but she spoke Spanish she is an example of great customer service

Horrible experience but I guess you get what you pay for. If you have natural hair avoid this place like the plague. Invest in a quality hair stylist even if its for a quick wash and set

Elyse Morin simply wonderful. Creative, one of the best blow dryers Ive ever had ( I have long hair) and she listens to what I want. She is a lovely young woman with whom my hair hopes to have a long relationship with.D.D.

Horrible experience with the KIDS . !!!!!!!!!!!you do not bring you CHILD right hereThey what to gain experience with expended more then 1 hr with the kiddos .But everybody knows kids are no patiently for long time .My lilltle kid all the times saying I can hold, its hot. And service no listen no matter.Student, finish your goal and then . Be professional.

Instructors are very uneducated, unprofessional and rude. I was yelled at by an instructor and kicked out of the salon with gooey hair. Upon arriving home I noticed that the entire back of my shirt was bleached out. I was told that I shouldnt have worn something that I like (sorry I like all of my clothes!). If I pay an average $15-$20 per shirt..get my hair done 9 times a year, thats an extra $180 I could have. Guess I was supposed to go naked if I didnt want my clothes ruined..?? Someone clearly does not know how to wash/rinse hair and the lightener dripped down my back when I lifted my head out of the sink. Yes, I was sent home with lightener still in my hair. On top of that, I was charged incorrectly. I was literally crying in this salon wishing I could just leave but still had to pay. Honestly, I should have just walked out without paying. I was charged an extra $20 for someone to RUIN my hair and my shirt! Of course, I returned to the salon for someone to fix my hair, but I went from a beautiful blonde color to a dirty brown with blonde highlights (similar to looking like a skunk). I am extremely disappointed in this school. I have been going to cosmetology schools for years now and have never had this happen. Ive also never had an instructor treat me, a customer, so horribly. When I called to speak to the director the next day, I was told that the instructor told him that I called her a b*tch when that NEVER came out of my mouth. She clearly just didnt want me to ever return, which is okay because I truly never want to go back and will tell everyone I know to never go there as well. To add in a slightly positive tip - the day time students are much more educated and have much nicer instructors than the night time students. Ms. Lovett is one to stay away from! Im amazed that she has not been fired yet for her behavior not only towards me, but the students as well.

Worst customer service Ive ever seen me my mom and my son walked in the receptionist and 2 other students were sitting there talking to a customer and we sat there about 15 minutes watching them talk amongst them the receptionist answerd phones and then continued to talk to the other customer I tried letting her know I wanted just a simple hair cut for my mom and she keept ignoring me I ended up walking out I will never give my money to a company that does not value there clients I mean come on you dont need 3 people to talk about what kinda perm you need plus specially if your job is to run the frond end I felt disrespected Ill never go back there again

I was previously a student here had things stolen from me including my blow dryer. I also had my hair chopped off after 3 years of growing it to my lower back. I was and still am extremely upset, because it was a teacher and I felt pressured to be a model and told I was keeping the length.

Hit or miss, I came here on 2 occasions, once to get a color and cut which didnt come out exactly as I wanted but was still incediably good for the price, and a second time to do my brows, and they were HORRIBLE the student didnt have a clue on how to or how much wax to use it makes you question if theyre even learning anything in the school, so it just depends on the student.

Very unprofessional, every time I go I have a hour maybe hour & a half wait. Yes I schedule an appointment but people come in after & get serviced before me every time. I’m thinking the ladies at the front are racist. Never going back.
