I had my A/C cleaned by Ricardo Campos and Josh. Ricardo did an amazing job and went above and beyond my expectations. He cleaned up after himself. I gave 5 stars because of Ricardos professionalism and great quality of work. On the other hand, Josh, his partner, was not professional. He was on his phone majority of the time and kept looking around at my personal belongings. Very odd and unprofessional, but I couldnt let him ruin a great review for Ricardo. I called to voice my concern about Josh and got LJ, their supervisor over the phone. He eased my mind a little bit and was great over the phone.

After 7 different technicians looked at my six year old a/c, my unit was still not working and I and my husband, as seniors, were left sweltering in 90+ degree weather for days. I was told I needed a new condenser motor and fan, which Aztil put in and for which they charged me $695. It still did not work. They said I now needed a compressor. I needed to call a different company to get a second opinion and get the a/c working promptly, for health reasons. The company told me that Aztil put in the wrong motor. I called and they insisted that motor was just as good. I called Rheem Manufacturing directly and the a/c customer service guy confirmed that the motor they put in was not as efficient and could cause problems in the future. He said they should have replaced the motor with the same one (albeit new) as they took out. The people at Aztil went on the offensive, both rude and loud. I wrote a strongly worded email to the owner that outlined everything. Suddenly I got a call saying they would replace it and, oh yeah, they only meant it to be temporary to begin with. Please note that I am a senior, living in a 55+ community, with a one story villa and the a/c condenser on the top of the roof. Aztil also accepted full pay for what they now termed a temporary motor. I would never have known the wrong motor was put in had it not been for the other company. Aztil cancelled my contract because someone else worked on the u-nit. I requested a prorated refund for the unused 17 months, which they denied. I also requested a 20% refund for the preferred customer discount I was supposed to get according to the contract, and not reflected on the invoice. They denied that too, even with all the aggravation and stress they caused, not to mention untrustworthiness. I would NEVER let them touch anything in my home ever again.

Ricardo & Stephen were here cleaning our ducts and dryer vent. Ive never experienced such a high level of work ethic before. They not only worked extremely hard but they made sure to include us as to what each step was for and what we could do going forward to mitigate further issues. They didnt just do the normal vent vacuum but pulled the dryer out and replaced a piece of the vent itself. I know we skirted a larger problem in the future. They worked so hard but were patient, respectful and diligent.Ive been with this company for over 8 years and this is why. Great job boys.

August 26, 2021I’m writing this letter to express my appreciation of the staff at Aztil Air Conditioning. Your company has always provided professional service in a timely manner. I called due to my A/C not cooling and a service man was dispatched in a matter of hours. The serviceman came out and explained a full explanation of what the problem was and what options that was available. We decided to go the possible route that didn’t pan out. The serviceman had prepared us for the possibility of the fix not working. I called back again after it quit working and the only option left was to buy a new system. Once again, your technician provided detailed information and pricing for a new unit and installation. Due to us having no A/C at that time the installation was expedited in a timely manner. Aztil is the best. I called for an emergency a week ago the a/c was acting up. Juan came out at 9pm, which we were very thankful. He fixed the problem and explained how important the maintenance is. He helped us sign up for the service agreement which really makes sense. We had an odor in the house, thought it was a/c related and together we discovered that it is the new furniture. It’s the customer service that satisfies my family and I. He even stayed and gave us some tips to help with odor. Thank you Juan and thank you Aztil.

Today my 6 month service visit was performed by technicians John and Akeem. They introduced themselves and described the service theyd be performing today. Both were wearing facial coverings and practicing social distancing. They then asked if I had any concerns and I asked them to pay particular attention to the condensation drain. When the service was completed they gave me good feedback about the overall condition of the AC unit and about the service they did to the drain. Overall they were polite and professional and were a pleasure to deal with. If youre trying to find a reliable company to service your AC equipment, look no further than Aztil Air Conditioning.

Update: I was contacted and problem has been rectified. Air conditioning is now running and I was assured that this issue would not occur again. As with many companies they are short staffed and overworked. I have used Aztil for maintenance for quite a few years and have had no issues, therefore I am updating my review because I do no want to ding their business.Was scheduled for air conditioning repair on Tuesday 2-5 pm. No show. Called and they said oh we forgot to let you know part did not come in. Scheduled for Wednesday 2-5pm. No show. Three calls to emergency after service number. No return call yet. It is now 9:30pm. This happened with last repair also but at least I still had air so was not sweating. No use in having a service agreement if company does not provide service.

UPDATE: After I posted the review last Saturday, on Monday, I received a call from Gary who patiently listened to my concerns and offered to make it right. I really appreciate that Aztil understood this was an issue and went to great length to correct the situation. Gary was responsive and he followed up often to provide updates and check on how the technicians were doing. Eddy came by on Tuesday to clear the pipes and add freon to the unit, then John came by the next day to conduct a leak test. A/C works fine now: No leaks and air is cold. I just hope this was not a temporary fix and I can put the A/C on a regular maintenance plan. Either way, thank you for your action.I would give the company a 0 star if I could. The installation of our new A/C system was done in June 2020. Since then, the unit had been leaking and the installation did not pass inspection. I had to call many times before someone could fix the issue. Thats after several visits and a reinstallation of the system in the garage. They finally did a fix in October 2020. It worked for a few months without leaking. We wend out of town in May and when we got back in July, the system is leaking all over the garage. The representative at AZTIL says that its a new issue; after the 1 year warranty, I should pay $115 for a service call! This is absurd for brand new system that was poorly installed a year ago!

We called Aztil at 4:00 on a Saturday because our air conditioner stopped working. Our excellent service person John came at 7:30 on Saturday night. He was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes! We have had a home and A/C contract with Aztil for 18 years and on the whole they have been dependable and provided good service. John M was here this week to do our bi annual A/C maintance. He was very attentive to an odor issue we were experiencing along with with being proficient and polite. We installed two new A/C units during that time and have been pleased with their energy saving performance. Since we have the contract it gives us peace of mind as the house and we have aged eighteen more years.

I was charged $80 for a tune up and the tech came in a personal vehicle, spent about 10 minutes at my house, advised I did not need any gas but I needed a my coil cleaned but it could not be done until next week, so we contacted another company and they removed the coil to clean it and advised us that the coil is damaged causing the gas to leak out and become low. After the coil was replaced and the system was recharged (all by a different company) we contacted Aztil and after many call backs and tracking down the employee we were advises to speak to, he told us we would be getting an $80 refund check in the mail. We waited around and finally 2 weeks went by so we called them again, we talked to a few different people, they were all rude, belittling and unprofessional. They lied and said they never said we were getting a refund and they will take us to court before giving us our $80 refund. We were completely ripped off by Aztil and I do not recommend anyone to allow them to steal their money.

The WORST a/c company you can go to! STAY AWAY! They are cheats and will take your money and lie and say you need a new unit when you dont! We unfortunately got scammed by this dump. We bought a contract and after almost 2 weeks of calling and noone answering they finally answered and we got an appt set up to come out and service us. The day of the appt came and noone showed up! Another week goes by and Im trying not to panic because we just spent hundreds of dollars with them. We finally get a hold of someone again and this time they show up. They give us freon without even diagnosing what was wrong.. which is illegal!! Our a/c unit is under warranty until 2024 but the tech calls us a day later to tell us it isnt and we need a whole new until in the attic. I knew this was a lie and I called the carrier manufacturer myself who told us the company is lying and we do have a warranty on both units!! We then had to go without a/c for days while we contacted a new company to come out that is actually honorable to their word. They told us our unit IS under warranty, like we knew, they are getting us the new parts and fixing it and also said our unit in the attic has nothing wrong with it. They also told us many companies give their service techs a percentage when they sell units so they try to scam you. The new company we were forced to get here to check our unit doesnt do this with their techs. Im so upset and angry that we were treated this way when we were forced to spend hundreds of dollar for services and promises from them that didnt even happen... they lied!!! This is the worst experience we have ever had with any company and I really tried to keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but the truth is they are scammers! Steer clear and call real companies that arent just trying to take your $$.

Aztil has been a great company helping when I moved into my house. The first time they came out they gave me a free tune up, inspection, and did some other work that was not included but they did anyways. Juan went above and beyond for me. When I accidentally blew a fuse and a relay in the ac unit, Juan returned and did not leave until the problem was fixed and I had cool air again. I have been a customer of this company for more than 16 Years. there have been two new A/C s installed in 2 different locations. Although there has always been some problem to get the maintenance done in the timeframe that was given, lately this has gone completely beyond any established business practice. I scheduled maintenance in the end of April and was given a June 16th 10;00 to 1:00 timeslot.. This had been rescheduled 3 (THREE) times each time waiting 3 hours for a no show.I explained that we had health issues that required us to be at appointments most mornings, I was not able to get an afternoon appointment, due to emergencies taking precedent. Today I have been again subjected to a no show, not only that, I have been left waiting on the phone for 4 to 5 minutes for an answer THREE TIMES, only to have the call dropped. If you call, there is a lengthy message about the excellent rating they have and that they are the premier A/C service in south Florida.My experience says otherwise and I will be using social services like Yelp to warn other clients. Unfortunately I am still locked in a maintenance Contract, but will certainly look elsewhere in the near future.AFTER MY PREVIOUS TIRADE (SEE ABOVE) I IMMEDIATELY HAD A NICE, POLITE MAN FROM AZTIL APPEAR TO SERVICE MY A/C TO MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. I contacted Aztil in mid January to help install the new ductless mini-split system for a home addition Im building. They had a sales rep come out to give me an estimate. Their estimate were reasonable, and they had been responsive. I decided to went ahead with the service order at the end of January, and I provided them with the information needed for getting a sub-permit. Things got quiet from there; I understand its been a busy time for those in the construction industry, so I waited for a couple weeks. I decided to reach out again after the third weeks of zero communication. I called the office and left a few messages before someone returned my calls days later. Everyone I talked to doesnt have a clue of what is going on. This goes on for a couple days until I reached out by email to their permit coordinator; she doesnt know whats going on neither and pointed me to Sam. Today, I called Sam, and he said hell have to look at my file before he can get back to me. Soon after my call with Sam, I got a call from Mark, who ask me to approve an additional ~15% increase from the original estimate because they didnt include the duct work into the original estimate. Mistakes happen, and I would have been ok with this from the beginning. Im not ok with them asking for more money after waiting four weeks with zero contact, zero work done. Why couldnt someone contact me as soon as mistakes were found in the original estimate? So, No I cant recommend their service to anyone.

The technicians from Aztil quickly diagnosed the problem and we were able to take care of this before it developed into a major issue. My experience with Aztil was easy, pleasant and affordable. The lady who scheduled the appointment was able to send the repairman out the same day, he diagnosed the problem in 30 minutes and was able to replace a part and repair the unit in 90 minutes. The repairman was super friendly and took all the necessary Covid precautions. I have used this company before and will use them again if anything goes wrong with my AC. Thank you Aztil.

I gotta give it to this company. The unit that was supposed to be installed was stuck up in Texas because of the hurricane. Luis from Aztil called me and explained the situation and upgraded my system. The customer service is outstanding. George and Luke the installers came and in no time my new system was cooling off my house. Professional all the way !!! Aztil was called to my house between 2015-2017 to add Freon to my AC. Those times were very bleak for me financially. Aztil, on many occasions gave me discounts or added freon to my AC for free. I’ve always wanted to repay them for the outstanding service they gave me. I reached out to them in 2020 to pay them back but they refused and said don’t worry about it, it has been taken care of. I have never experienced anything like this from any other business I have dealt with. Thank you Aztil for being there for me through my financial struggles! The technicians were on time, very clean and neat. My system went down on Wednesday evening. A tech came out and they did a complete install of a new HVAC system the next day. Access to attic was difficult. No problem for them. I would highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a house and the previous owner had a service contract with Aztil which included AC and appliances. My realtor told me that the contract was transferable. I called Aztil and in fact, after sending my deed, it was transferred. I requested a copy of the service agreement (what covers, what is not covered) and the only document I received by email is a letter with the previous owner’s name and mine, the start and expire date. I had called numerous times and requested the information and also have requested the same by email and I have been completely ignored by Peter. Anyway, I called again for service since the washer was leaking and the AC was due for the semi-annual maintenance. Both were scheduled. The appointment for the washer problem was set up with a time “window” from 9:00-1:00. The technician showed up almost at 3pm (I previously took half day from work, so I had to call off the whole day due to the lateness). The technician diagnosed the problem and said that I would receive a call when the part was available. The next day I received the call from the “Appliance” dept and I was told that the part was discontinued. The person told me the name of the part that needed to be replaced and said that if I find the part, to call and the technician could install it. I googled my washer model and bam!💥 hundreds of vendors had it, OEM or replacement part. A little effort and interest to help the customer would’ve been nice. Anyway, I ordered and received the OEM part which cost less than $30. It was a simple 2 bolts part (the water inlet valve) which I installed. Well, there was no leaking THERE yay! but wait a minute, the washer was still leaking... from the drum/tub!!! Unfortunately, the issue was misdiagnosed!Then, the appointment for the AC semiannual maintenance came up. (I had requested the day off from work based on my previous experience with the washer) The time window for this appointment was from 9-12. Well, I received a call from the technician the same day, a little before 9am saying that they were rescheduling my appointment because they had “a lot of people without AC”... “your AC is working right? so I have to reschedule “ said the technician. This was so wrong in so many ways. This appointment was scheduled 3 weeks in advance! They made me AGAIN lose another day at work! Calling the same date... minutes before the appointment to tell you they were not coming? Wow! My experIence with this company has been horrible since day one. They have no consideration for the customer at all. I gave one star because I cannot give less... zero.

The main drain line clogged causing the air handler unit to shut down. A very Professional and Well Trained Technician, Jonathan M responded and cleared the drain line. After over an hour, the house temp remained at 78 degree F and I called the office. Peter immediately dispatched another excellent technician, Adrian. He confirmed the system was operating correctly and the temp would drop and it did. We have been a customer for over 15 years. We are currently in our 4th service contract and have had 2 new A/C units installed by these guys. Up until last 3 years we were very satisfied. Last 5 service appointments have been terrible experiences. Not one has shown up in service timeframe and 3 of the appointments were not kept at all and when we called to check on our appointment we were told there was not any appointment made for us. Frustrated and aggravated with these guys to say the least. We have a couple years left on latest service agreement, but I have to think it will be our last with Aztil. They just became too unreliable lately. This includes the 2 years prior to Covid-19 Pandemic.

My parents have had a service contract with Aztil for I believe over 20 years. As they got older, I started managing their affairs. Unfortunately, we hear stories of vendors taking advantage of the elderly. Aztil came twice a year to perform routine maintenance on their unit. Each time the service tech was there, my Mom would call and have me speak with them. The service tech was always kind, professional and reassured me that everything was OK with the unit. My dad passed five years ago. I was reconciling my mothers checking account and saw a check to Aztil for a contract renewal if I recall for 5 years. At the time my mother was 90. I immediately called and spoke with the owner. He justified why it was important that my mother should renew the contract at her age and added that the contract is transferable if we should sell the house. I was so impressed with his professionalism, his sincerity for my mothers well being and honesty. Telling it like it is. A year ago, my mom moved into an Assisted Living Facility. Her unit sold in less that two weeks. The realtor told me one of the selling points was the the AC was properly maintain (my mother saved every pink service invoice next to the unit) and there remained several years on the contract that came with the house.As a result of my dealings with Aztil for my parents, I purchased my own service contract. I had a clogged drain line and water in the garage. A tech was at my door in less that 3 hours.I know this is a lengthy review, in these precarious times it is good to know there is a company such as Aztil. As constant as the North Star. You just have to call and they are always there.

I have been a happy client for 5 years. The receptionist, service department and the technicians are caring, professional and knowledgeable. I feel like a VIP. The service contract is well worth the money. I had a leaking hot water heater on a Sunday and the technician was at my house in 20 minutes. I highly recommend Aztil.

I received a call early in the morning from the office to ensure that I was going to be home for the appointment scheduled between 11 am & 2 pm. Jonathan was on time, professional and very pleasant. He also helped me personally by recommending a good vet for my tiny dog Louie who has been having allergy problems. Aztil was the most cost effective, timely, and speed to install of any of the companies. I highly recommend them. PS I am still awaiting replies from other contractors. From Aztils customer service to their technicians, Ive been treated as a valued customer. The customer service reps are friendly, treat me with respect, and they follow-up. Edit: they asked me to take down this review so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did. Im still under contract with them so I have no choice but to use them. I was told some one would call me back about my new issue my dryer after attempting to fix it yesterday. No one did. I called this morning and was told some one would call me back. And nothing. I really regret using this company.My AC had died about a month ago. My mother had recommended me to Aztil. I was originally going to go with another company. Aztil quoted me a much lower price. So sure ok cool. Sadly they could not source a unit for this price. Increasing our total install cost about 2k. Which is way more than the previous company quoted. We asked if they can match the price of the previous company. They responded only if we pay for the 5 year service contract in addition to the install. At this point taking advantage of our miserable state of mind just wanting to get it fixed we regretfully agreed. Our AC is on the roof so they needed a crane.We had an install set up and the crane company fell through. Making us wait even longer and causing two missed days of work as a result. Installation day had gone relatively smooth. However was unable to get my nest thermostat (which I purchased 2 years ago for $250 and working fine) working properly. So they took it down and installed a basic non programmable thermostat. Which is fine temporarily though when spending so much money Id expect to have everything working the same as it previously was including my not so cheap Nest. They told me they where going to have someone out to have it installed. Guy came and could not install it. Then told me they would be sending another person who they did not comunicate to. I had to call the day of and they scrambled to find someone to send out. Needless to say guy 2 could not install it. 3 weeks after install guy 3 came and almost got it installed but told me I was missing a wire. Finally guy number 4 came ( its been a month after install) he came to actually estimate how much it was going to be to run the missing wire which was not missing. After a little over an hour hes the guy that ended up getting it installed correctly. This is all without saying a continuous amount of phone calls and frustration over the month. Which theyre customer service is not very great as well. I get that its only a thermostat but when you pay so much money for a job and getting locked in to a 5 year service contract one would want their system how it had been set up before. The guy Rick who got my nest working properly who only came out for an estimate on running a wire is the only reason I would be giving 1 star. I would have given 0 if it was possible. So thank you Rick and a honorable shout out to Eddie who got close. Though now Im stuck with these guys for 5 years. Hope they will make an attempt for redemption thats not just coming out and doing what their service contract requires them to do any way. One guy promised they would come out every 3 months instead of 6. Which is pretty arbitrary to me. But Im going to hold them to that. Anyway I will not recommend this company to anyone. Very disorganized and non-communitive.

Our experience with this company wasn’t nearly the level of excellence we were expecting. Our issue started with a service call because our ac was leaking. The gentleman that came to service the unit was honest and explained that our units were older and in need of replacement eventually. My husband and I made the decision to go ahead and replace both units. The day of the install, the installers showed up at 3pm and broke our hot water heater which flooded our daughter’s bedroom. After cleaning that mess up, they finished the install closer to 9pm. We were told by the installer that he didn’t have the part to fix the hot water heater so he’d be back the next morning. Needless to say we didn’t hear from the installer, or anyone else for that matter from Aztil, to rectify the issue with our hot water heater. It took 3 DAYS to finally get someone who knew what they were doing to come back and fix what they broke! Horrible customer service! My husband and I called and left messages with the company. FINALLY on the 5th day, a very nice and professional service man came to fix screw up of someone else in that company! Thank you to the man that fixed the hot water heater! Aztil should have had their act together and had this corrected the same sat regardless of time, materials or whatever! VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING display of service! This was the first and LAST time we’ll ever use them!

My aunt is a long time customer of Aztil and referred them to me when my a/c stopped working. Juan came out late at night worked on the unit found that it was very old and worn out. I saw that even with all the parts replaced the unit was just done. He helped my wife and I to upgrade the unit and get a service agreement. The installers were great and efficient. The a/c unit is excellent and my house has never been as comfortable as it is now. I’m glad we have the Elite team as our a/c company. Thank you Juan and Aztil.

Our experience was not a satisfactory one. Yesterday we were told to expect our technician in the afternoon. He was a no show due to his being tied up on alter call. No one called to tell us. Today we were told to expect him between 11 - 1pm. At 1:30 we called Aztil ad were told he is tie up on a call but will be here when done. Again no one called us to advise us of the fact he would not be on time. Aztil apparently doesn’t care about it’s customers.

I have had an Aztil service agreement now for a few years. Best investment one can make in this troublesome times.AC kept going off, my little voice instructed me to change the thermostat batteries (I knew the unit overall was in good working order). As soon, as I changed the double AA batteries, it began working again.Batteries kept draining. Call this morning and by 11AM tech Rob S, was at my door masked, professional and cordial.I explained the scenario. Rob removed the Thermostat cover and shorted out the wires to the fan. The unit came right. He suggested that I needed a new thermostat. He offered me two options: A) I can purchase one and install myself or b) purchase from Aztil (with a 5 year warranty).I choose to have Rob install it.There are few things in these troubling times that I can be sure of...Aztil AC is on the top of my list.I seldom take the time to compose a review, must give credit where credit is due.

Paul came out to give me an estimate for a new unit for my townhouse. He was punctual, professional and took his time to explain everything from why I needed to have my current replaced to all the differences in all the units that were available and the pros and cons of each. I felt very confident in my decision and purchased a new unit as well as had duct work replaced. George came out for the installation and was just as professional and punctual. He explained that he’d be just a few hours, and was just that. He showed me pictures of the installed unit (as it’s on the roof) and his work was very neat and clean. When he was done, Paul called and followed up to make sure everything when smoothly and to make sure i was happy with everything - I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Paul and George to anyone who needed a new unit - thanks, guys!

As you can see, I have provided Aztil Air Conditioning with the highest rating and checked all of the characteristics they have shown over the years. I am a long-term and highly satisfied customer of Aztil Air Conditioning for over 10 years. I purchased a new air conditioning system from them 10 years ago and have entered into two long term (5 year) service contracts. During this time their technicians have provided semi-annual service to our AC unit as well as quickly responding to calls for emergency service when there were problems with the AC unit. In addition, we have used them to provide plumbing repairs.to our toilets.When I call for service, the Aztil Service Representatives give me a window in which their technicians will arrive. This allows me to plan my day, and If there is a problem, they call and we make adjustments. Their technicians update me as to what they have had to do and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and longevity of my AC unit. Most important, they have responded to emergency calls during hot summer days when our unit went out. Their service staff and technicians are friendly and professional and have been a pleasure to deal with.When my current service contract ends, I will definitely renew it so that I can enjoy another 5 years of worry-free service..Thank you Aztil.
