Most consumers are suspicious of contractors - period. We never know if what they say needs done really needs done and even worse, if we hire them to do the work we don’t know if they actually do it! I was very cautious when it came time to finding a contractor to clean the aid ducts in my house. I had several companies come to give me estimates. I then compared what each said I needed to have done and then I discussed the information with my regular AC technician. I went back and forth with 2 contractors. One was 2/3rds the price of the other and one said they could get the job done “today” in 3-4 hours while the other said it would take 7 hours and they were booked for 2 weeks! One wanted to remove the coil from my AC unit to clean it - the other wanted to clean it in place. After several days of consideration I chose Envirotech. Their price was more expensive and I had to wait 2+ weeks but I’m glad I did. They are very professional and they took time to show me what they were doing while they were in my house. I highly recommend them.

I had gotten a bid from Sears 99. Full Duct cleaning special advertised the on the TV.It was a nightmare. A total misleading and bait and switch service. The very young and very inexperienced duo told me I had lots of mold and some even black mold! For a cost of 2200. They could get the mold out. Therefore, they could not do the cleaning for 99. Of course I said goodbye.I did a more extensive search, this time gor an AC company that have professionals who understand systems! I was Reffered to this company from both my local neighborhood site and another AC company, who actually gave me their #. After stating they do not do the cleaning. But, their clients have used this company. With lots of positive feedback.They responded the same day for an inspection and quote.The very nice and professional service man Brett the Owners son.Did the same inspection. He said their was no mold visible. Lots of construction dust. Which I had had my floors resanded...He gave me a very good price to clean out all 10 of my ducts and the returns. He explained everything with knowledge.The crew was out here 2 days later. The workers explained everything again. They left the vents spotless and cleaned up perfectly, when they left!Today, one day later. I’m breathing much cleaner air. I actually did not wake up with a hacking cough this morning, like I had been since my floors were completed.I’m so grateful that their are still some honest and professional family companies. Who aren’t out to gouge an older single woman. Gosh! We can’t even trust SEARs anymore:(Obviously, my recommendation is don’t hesitate to use ENVIROTECH 👏🏻😊

EAQ installed the iwave air purification system. The process was efficient and effortless from the first contact to completion. Rich was patient, friendly and tolerated my many questions and concerns. Brett, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional examined the duct system and the air conditioner that would receive the iwave, returned to install which was over the top in every category. The representation of the company was impressive in all aspects including the job cleanup. It is a pleasure to learn of a company with excellent employees that provides the assurance your interests are important and they strive to do the best job possible. These guys were fast and did exactly what we asked for. Once we notified them we wanted to proceed and paid our deposit they were in and completed the work the very next week. We had them replace our old ductwork for which they had to climb up in our small, hot attic. At the end of each day they vacuumed up and left their workspace clean and tidy.

First called EAQ last year and they came right out. Called today because ac wasnt working and less than an hour the tech was here. Great employees and awesome service.

Envirotech came to our home to help diagnose and treat some air quality issues. All of the appointments leading up to the service were on time and professionally conducted. The advisor, Rich, was very helpful and made recommendations that helped to address the issues we had in the simplest, most effective way possible. Chriss team, that came the day of service, was also prompt and very professional. They were extremely careful with our home and left everything immaculately clean. I very much appreciated that they did not do anything unnecessary, and explained and changed their recommendations based on what they found once they were looking inside the system so as not to waste money on unneeded services. They documented all of their work and they were very pleasant to have in our home, and very kind to my three year old daughter. Each member of their team was so nice, professional, and careful, and I would recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again.

This was my first time with any duct cleaning service. They arrived during the hour range he said he would, and provided a good service. The ducts was restored, and the place looks and smells great. Would hire them again.

We were interested in purchasing our dream house, but it had a musty odor. Envirotech came to evaluate and told us there was mold in the ducts The recommendation was to replace the ducts. We asked if that would get rid of the odor; they honestly told us they could not guarantee the odor removal as it may reside in the sheet rock, carpet, or drapes. Their honesty led us to pass on the house, which cost them a big job. We were totally impressed with their honesty and integrity. We would recommend them highly.

These guys came earlier for the appointment. They did a commendable job cleaning our air duct. They left everything in order and even cleaned up their mess after they were done. I was very impressed with their work.

While my first experience with Envirotech was positive, my most recent was not. About 3 months ago, they did a nice job of doing maintenance and cleaning on what was originally a poorly installed air handler courtesy of ECM. The A/C has been working great ever since. Starting a week ago, there was significant liquid puddling at the base of the handler in one spot, an issue that had not been present prior to their work three months ago. As they had just been here a few months prior, I called up Envirotech. At the end of it, I was charged $230 for what amounted to replacing the tape that was preventing proper drainage in the first place, and putting on new insulation around the sweating pipe secured with some more tape and some plastic ties. $125 just to come out, and another $105 for the labor as the whole process took him 1 hr 15 min. All this to address what ended up being a very simple issue that very well could have been a result of their own work 3 months prior. While it looks like the issue is resolved, the good feelings I had about Envirotech Air Quality Services are now gone. The fact that I was charged $230 for this was like spitting in my face.

Although the technician was a little late showing up, he was very professional. Explained what he needed to do, and showed us all the lint and stuff clogging up our dryer vent. He was very thorough, and our dryer has been working great since it has been cleaned out. Envirotech was also competitively priced and was able to schedule a convenient appointment. I would recommend Envirotech Air Quality Services, and plan on using them again in the future.

Fast and professional service

Great service. I called Thayne and he came right away to check out my existing system and give me options. He was fair with pricing, scheduled his techs to come promptly. When the techs came, Alex and Mateo worked very hard and were very friendly. They got my new HVAC system in that afternoon and made sure everything was running smooth. Overall I would highly recommend this company in an industry where it’s tough to know who to trust and who is giving you a fair shake, they did just that.

You cant believe star ratings on a company. I chose envirotech because of their good rating. I set up an appointment for last Monday at 4. I left work early to meet them. No call, no show. They didnt even return my call. Over a week later and i still have not received a return call. I even talked to the owner when i set up my appointment. This company actually cost me money by leaving work early.

Chris and Charles were amazing, professional and really cared about cleaning our vents and ducts! They looked out for my cats and made sure that they did the best they could to work around them.. that’s the best customer service in my eyes! We recommend them :)

First I’ll start my review off by saying that we had 3 previous AC Companies come into our home prior to Envirotech Air Quality Services to provide a quote / estimate on our situation. All 3 of the previous AC companies wanted to sell us a brand new system. They all had the same story, they told us that our current unit cannot be fixed or worked with. FYI our coil was in pretty bad shape. When we had Envirotech Air Quality Services come to our home, they to suggested a new unit BUT they also gave some suggestions on our current unit. Long story short, we were able to keep our current system which saved us $1000’s of dollars! We ended up replacing our old moldy coil with a brand new coil and we had Envirotech clean our ducts. I should also add that prior to that we had Envirotech replace our capacitor which immediately fixed the initial problem of hot air blowing. All and all I am very satisfied with the service Rich, Chris, Mateo, Junhong, Monica and the rest of the team provided. I will definitely keep this company in mind for our future needs and will recommend to family and friends!

We returned home in the late afternoon, from a family vacation last summer to discover our AC was not working. I called Envirotech Air, they dispatched a technician immediately. Once the technician arrived, he diagnosed the problem, a burned out compressor. Since it was almost evening, he brought a portable spot cooler, to provide comfort for sleeping that evening. The next morning, their crew arrived early in the morning to install a new compressor and air-handler. Since our unit was 12 years old, it was suggested to replace the air-handler. Our experience with Envirotech Air Quality Services was exceptional, I have recommended them to friends and co-workers, all have reported happy results.

Alex was great, he came earlier than expected and got our air going. We still will need a further fix on the coil.. were trying to see if we are covered by GL homes on a warranty that might have been extended do to a class action suit against the manufacturer

Called to have an estimate on AC cleaning as I have a mold issue in my condo currently. Got their name from referral by a remediation company. When he got here he said they do remediation as well. Now keep in mind remediation was done already in my condo but needed only the contents cleaned yet. He rushed through the time he was here making calls to other clients while here. I just got his estimate and he is trying to scam me for over $12 000 to remediate again which I didnt ask to have done. The estimate didnt include 75% of my contents as he skipped all the furniture wrapped in plastic that needs to cleaned or disposed of, didnt include anything in master bedroom which items still under containment, didnt include clothing cleaning, didnt include items in kitchen that were still in cabinets or drawers, nor resetting of items in new boxes once cleaned or put back in place. Not a trustworthy company for sure. Their estimate was blatantly inflated and not inclusive. Beware of this company for sure. I have interviewed many AC companies and this one attempted to scam me into having them do unneeded remediation and incomplete decontamination of my possessions.

The owner Thayne arrived at my property for a simple service call the first thing I noticed was his pupils were the size of pins he was obviously on something. The next i observed was that he really didnt know what he was doing. He over charged me not long after mysterious charges pop on my account. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Jabari cleaned the coils and blower and sanitized the AC unit with such care that we can immediately tell the difference in the quality of air that we are breathing. Excellent work and very neat. The air ducts and vents (40+)were dirty and hadnt been cleaned in years. The ductwork in the attic was dirty and had mold spores all over. The tech took pictures before and after as well as inviting me to look at them when he was done. They cleaned each vent by hand and removed them to do so. It took two days to complete the work but it was worth it. I feel the air quality in the house is better and the AC is not blowing dust anymore. Thanks for a job well done.

Your technician Charles is a TRUE professional! He came out and answered our emergency call when our AC broke. He exhibited a very high knowledge of the problem as he triaged and diagnosed what was wrong. What was most telling and satisfying about his knowledge of AC units is that he quickly debunked the assessments of the issue that came before by Accutemp AC company. They came and said it was the relay then when the first tech fixed that he left without even checking anything else. Then, the AC wouldnt cool and broke again the 2nd tech came and said we have a weak breaker, raising our frustration levels even more!Then Charles came and said it wasnt the breaker it was the compressor and the coils that had shorted out and when that happens it will trip the breaker, so the breaker was actually doing what it was supposed to do! He is a subject matter expert and adept at quickly driving right to the root of the issue, thats what we needed from DAY 1!! Glad that Charles and Envirotech came to the rescue - Charles is a keeper!!

Professional air duct cleaning! Amazing team sent out and my home smells great!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST. They did not do my job properly and left mold and mildew in one of the ducts in my house that goes into the plenum and I now have mold in my duct again. They originally replaced all of my ducts except the return, which they argued I did not need. I called three other duct replacement companies and they all said that when you replace the ducts you do everything as it is a closed tube that all neeeds to be new. What did they do? They cut the return and opened it to clean it and then masticked it back shut. A few weeks later my husband looked over at the air handler when he was walking in the garage and noticed that it was open and air from the garage was being sucked into the house. That is the smell that I had been smelling. They then came out and again said that it did not need to be replaced and resealed it properly. Even after that, I called them several times to tell them that I still smelled mold, but they told me that it was impossible. I found the mold yesteday in the main duct and called them to tell them, so they could complete the job properly, but they did not return my phone call. Therefore, I had to call in another company to finish the job, which is now costing $1000 becasue they did not do the job correctly to begin with.

After recently moving into an older home, we began waking up feeling like we had a cold. We noticed that every time the AC would come on, wed start sneezing. Sure enough, the A-coil showed evidence of microbial growth. Rich came out and evaluated the scope, gave sound and unbiased advice and his team did a thorough job cleaning and removing the contaminants from our two HVAC systems, professionally cleaning out the upstairs duct-work, and coated/sealed the old return plenum downstairs with top-line Fiberlock 8000 HVAC insulation coating...and this stuff is not cheap. The team took their time and did the job right, but it only took a few hours total. They didnt cut any corners and the cost was reasonable. We immediately noticed a difference in air quality and have been waking up symptom free...just clear, fresh, cold air blowing now. Duct and HVAC cleaning gets a bad rap due to all the scammers out there...but when done right by a professional outfit, it can make your home feel new again. As a developer, I can tell you that Envirotech delivers and takes great pride in doing the job right. Weve added them to our short-list of go-to contractors...well done.

Tried to get service for overflowing air conditioning unit. Pipe was clogged. Called on Friday a.m. Was told they could come out on Wednesday or after hours for premium rate. Concerned about mold growth.
