I absolutely love VJ Nails & spa. I have been to other places when I moved further away from the area but have come back because the pedicures offered at this location are absolutely amazing; plus Don is the best of the best at what he does. Don is kind, professional, and detailed. Im glad my wife pulled me along the first time because now it is something we do together!

I got a pedicure and a fill. My nails are okay although the person who did it wasn’t very friendly. As for my pedicure it was AWFUL! He didn’t even let my feet soak and the water was just lukewarm. He was super rough and he finished in like 15 minutes. My heels still feel rough. He put my flip flops on right when he was done. I’m home and looking at it better and 2 of the nails aren’t even painted all the way. Also there’s polish on many of the toes. Very poor job especially for the cost. Thank will not be going back there!

Went in for a pedicure, got the deluxe as well as the wax upgrade. Maybe I should have spent even more to get the gel as I have never felt so rushed to leave. I have NEVER had someone put my flip flops on before they painted my toes. As soon as he slathered a top coat on my nails AND toes, he was lifting the chair arm for me to leave. Upon arriving home, I discovered the joy of removing the remaining wax from my heels and flip flops. Nope I don’t think I will return.

Don was excellent! He made my nails look so beautiful! He was quick and gentle. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. I will definitely be back!

I showed them a picture and yes they worked on it hard but they could have told me they couldn’t do it. i spent 61$ for nails i did not even like. i had to go to another salon to get them fixed and had to spend 30 more. the other salon i went to was “hawaii nails II” they are the kindest people and does everything right. i definitely recommend the other salon .

I’ve been getting my nails done by Jonny for years now. He never disappoints! I am not one to get pedicures very often but when I do they do a great job. Everyone is friendly, relaxing environment and the place is always clean. Highly recommend!

I came here with my family for mani/pedis with the girls while my sister-in-law was in town and we all had a terrible experience. They were able to get us in and the service was fast, but the customer service was horrendous. The guy that did my nails was very rude and instead of telling me to make movements or adjustments he would just forcefully move my arm/leg. He acted annoyed the whole time. One nail was crooked and they just said that it wasnt when we told them and wouldnt fix it. Another nail was lifting before we even left and all they did was dump glue in the gap instead of putting a new nail on. We felt rushed and overall were very unpleased with our experience. Go somewhere else if you can.

Don always does a beautiful job on my nails. he does them quickly and they always look amazing! my nails never chip or break after he does my nails! i go in every 2-3 weeks

I have never wrote a review before but when the service is this bad I decided to write one. This was The worst service I have ever had when getting my nails done. I went in with my husband and two small children and they treated us so horribly that only one of my girls got there nails done and my husband got his pedicure. We left very upset and un happy! I would never go back to this business. Go anywhere but here!!

I got a pedicure done on 10/3 with my mother in law and it was such a great experience. They did a great job. We both came out as happy campers. My pedicure is still looking good to this day. Taking my mom there for her bday. Highly recommend.

The business itself on the inside isnt bad, its actually very clean... But the nail technician who did my nails was an older woman & I honestly was not impressed at all with her work. She nicked my fingers multiple times & I left with my fingers burning and sore. Two of my nails ended up breaking a couple days after getting them done. This was definitely one experience I dont want to repeat & I am going somewhere else from now on unfortunately.

Do not get a pedicure here! I ended up getting an ingrown nail and athletes foot the day after I left there.

I will never return to this salon. Neither will any of my friends or family.The man that did my nails was terrible. I believe his name was Tom or Tim. And when I walked in a lady was all excited about her nails because he is supposedly the best. I however dont think so. I got a full set acrylic nails 45 dollars. I wanted a coffin style. So a flat top. NOT ONLY ARE THEY CROOKED, but Tom tried to make me buy something that is supposed to be FREE!!! He cut me twice, he saw the blood and KEPT GOING. Are you kidding me??? Now my pinky finger is still so very sore after 5 days of having them. Also my nails are already starting to come off.WORSE SALON EVER.What ever you do, dont go here. Go to City Nails, wonderful people and not idiots :)

Would not recommend! I went for a pedicure and manicure with Don. He went so fast through everything. He did not work on my heels for more than 30 seconds and they are still rough. He did not shape my toenails. I had to fix them when I got home so they looked good. On the manicure he didn’t even take off all of my nail polish I had on previously. My fingernails were not even at all the manicure was raced through. When I asked him to fix things throughout he didn’t even respond. He would quickly attempt to fix it, but the customer service was horrible. Time to find a new place.

I went in for a pedicure and the person I had did a really bad job. I had a little bit of dry skin on my feet and asked for him to remove it. He made my feet even drier and didn’t do anything.

I showed a picture of what I wanted several times and he just ignored me. Didn’t do what I asked at all. I finally gave up so I could get out of there. I’ll be ripping these off and going elsewhere.

I have struggled to find a place that I actually LOVE! My friend fortunately brought me here and I fell in LOVE!! All of the workers are so nice and welcoming which is something you don’t normally get from a nail salon. The place is clean, classy, and enjoyable. I especially love going to NINA. I love VJ nails! They are always very friendly and try to be as accommodating as possible. Nina has been doing my nails for quite a while now, and I am so happy with her work! I have been trying to hold off this review to see if things would get better, but today really made me make up my mind. This place always gives you different prices depending on who does your nails, and they have a sign where all the prices are listed, but none of the workers give you those exact prices. They charged me to take my nails off to get my fill! Never had I heard of charging to get them removed in any other salon. they charged me $45 for a new set + them having to remove my old nails. When He finished and i asked him why he charged me so much for just a new set, he began to literally yell and cuss at me saying i had to pay. I was going to pay regardless but he became so angry and continued to raise his voice. Sadly, during the time i was there it was very slow, so there was no one around to witness it or to help me get out of that situation. Please think twice about coming here, no human being should ever be treated that way ESPECIALLY at a place you go to relax and have your nails done. Completely unprofessional.

Awesome experience. I was gifted a massage and pedicure for my friend birthday party and luckily I was found to VJ Nails & Spa.Everything is organic and all natural and the jewelry they sell is all handmade- which I personally love! Keep it local!! I got an hour full body massage from the young guy. It was the best massage I have ever gotten. He was extremely interested in what I do on a daily basis to focus on what areas are the most tense. After leaving, I felt relaxed. He was also extremely nice and personable- never once did I feel uncomfortable. I then moved to the dry pedicure from another nail techs, this was my first dry pedicure. Im very ticklish with my feet but not once did she make me jerk my foot back. She gave my great information about facials because I had a really bad experience a few years back.Overall, GREAT EXPERIENCE! Absolutely adore this little place.

I was excited to get my nails done and have pretty nails for my birthday last week. The day I got my nails done, the same day two of my nails chipped off on the corners. :( I work a lot and finally had a chance to go in today to see if they would fix them. The manager had no apology and was just very rude and told me to come back in a half and hour..so I did. Still no apology and arrogant. I asked him if I could get a color change since the last color I had gotten didn’t spread very well and looked streaky. He said same color..no charge but $20 for a color change.This was after I had just spent $60 in his salon just 5 days prior. They fixed the chips but I left with no color. Very unhappy and won’t be returning. Although, the lady that originally did my nails last Sunday was very kind which is why I gave them one star.

I seriously can not emphasize enough that Don is the best nail person! If you go here, get Don! He truly cares about what they look like and every detail! I’ve been going to him for the last 4 years on and off and I won’t go to anyone else. Anyways Don is awesome!!!

The nail tech listened to what I want and did a great job. Its been about a week and a half and the nails are still strong and look great. Ive had a hard time finding a nail salon that I like. This is where I will continue to go. I love that they accept walk-ins as well.

I had an okay experience at VJ nails. My mom and I had came in. She came in for a pedicure and I had a gel manicure. We were seapretty quickly. My moms experience was great. They were very kind and gentle with her and her pedicure turned out great. But when it came to my manicure the guy wasn’t gentle. He ended up cutting me three times while he was trimming my cuticles. He did clean them up and made sure the bleeding had stopped. My nails turned out good. there aren’t a few parts where the gel got on my skin and wasn’t cleaned off but other than that they look pretty good. The gel manicure ended up being $30 and the deluxe pedicure was $40.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If I could put no stars I would. Thank you.

I have had the gel manicure here and they did a wonderful job. Pedicures are also top notch. I most recent key got lash extensions that were the clusters and LOVED them. They last about three weeks as long as you are gentle when you wash in the shower. They were also Much cheaper here than other places I called around to.

Everything looked new. Most importantly, my nails turned out beautifully! The only problem I really had was deciding what colors to get my nails in and they helped me timely. Amazing people! Amazing price! Will be back!

I came to this place during my vacation for 3 weeks prior. Wow, wonderful experience! The owner caught me to a chair right away after I stepped in. Very perfect staffs! They knew exactly what I need and any suggestions. The products are all natural and no drills. I will definitely be back here SOON! 5 stars for staffs.

I usually have a good experience here but my manicure looked terrible two days later! I paid 30.00 for gel and my cuticles were showing and the polish wasnt all the way down on my nails. My pedicure was almost as bad. My big toes were rough on the edges and rough on the heels the next day I paid 106 dollars with a 20% tip. I wont be back.!

I will never go back here. My gel pealed off in about 2 days. When I went back for a refund they said no but they would redo them. The lady was so incredibly rude. When I asked her how her day was going she said, Im good. And said nothing else. Then told me to stay under the light for 3 minutes and went onto the next client. The worker next to me said I think you are good now just check to see if they werr sticky if not then they were dry. Horrible place. Unfortunate because they are so conveniently located.

Horrible experience! I went for a pedi and manicure yesterday around 6:00 pm the lady did not want to apply the color I wanted & was extremely rude she even left my nails very thin that two of them broke the same day she charged me $17.00 dollars more she took advantage right after the owner left before 7:00 pm and after i paid she asked me to leave a tip. I told her that her attitude was her tip. I will never recommend anyone to go to this place!

Maybe VJ Nails & Spa in West Jordan was because I havent had the chance to go in awhile or maybe it was just that goodI did the spa pedicure and gel shellac manicure. My nail techs was amazing. Let me study for my final during pedicure and chatted for manicure. Chairs are the nicest Ive ever seen in a nail shop. Went on a Thursday at 3:30, did have an appointment that I made only four hours before that and it was not jam packed. Front of desk guy was cool under the pressure of running between chairs for technicians, keeping it clean in there, and running the front desk and phone. Polite guy and take care me so enthusiam. When I have ask for his always willing to helpsI still will recommend to everyone. Thanks guys!

Tom does not listen to what you ask for and is very aggressive. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and he kept trying to have me change colors and length and ultimately wouldnt do my acrylics short and square except for two of my fingers I asked him to fix it and he wouldnt I spoke to the owner and he said to come back tomorrow and Tom will fix it. When I came back in Tom was very rude and didnt fix it. Another nail tech offered and did a great job giving me exactly what I asked for and only took a couple minutes to shorten them down. She helped me feel comfortable in an awkward situation for the whole salon. I will say that they got a higher rating from me for the great pedicure service I have always recieved and their promptness with scheduling. I dont think Ill give Tom another chance though.

Horrible experience getting lashes done. Asked for a short very natural look and came out looking like a doll about to fly away with my eyes.

Im unsure why this place has even (though it isnt many) the few stars that it does. The workers there are very abrasive. My pedicure was great, but the employee attitude and atmosphere is not worth my business. I will not be coming here again.

Ive been going to here since they first opened. And has all of services is the best. I was always offered a drink during getting of process. Thier environment is spotless. Ill recommend this place to anyone, but not on the weekend. No complains to staff here.

I think I have finally found my go-to nail place. And the salon is so amazing! When I got there, they served me right away. They made all my fingers rounded perfect and look the same. Its sooooooo NATURAL. Would come back if Im not just a transient.

Came in today to for shellac. The owner directed me back to another very pleasant young lady. & She did a great job creating my vision of a mani-pedi. The nails are wonderful --- shiny. I will be here faithfully every Sunday now so she can relax my legs after a long work week. SO AMAZING!

Went there because I was in the area in between two grandsons soccer games. I had shellac on my toes that needed to come off. He literally dug/scrapped/filed it off - hurt very bad! Then when file my toe nails the file was also filing the end of my toe. I suppose it is my fault for not speaking up. I was in shock that he was doing it the way he was. THEN to top it off the paint and shellac job he did was not very good. Then came what is supposed to be the relaxing part - the foot rub. . . not pleasant either! Now that I read all these other comments I guess I get what I get for not researching AND for not sticking with my regular place Happy Designs Nails and Spa - will NOT be going back ... p.s. after I got home I realized he way overcharged me! NOT Happy

My pedicure was rushed even though I made an appointment. The tech did not buff my heels whatsoever. My daughter’s nails were not what she asked for and she showed the male tech a picture. We paid $91.00 for a mediocre pedicure and a full set. The techs are not skilled or thorough and we will not be back.

I’ve been here a few times and my nails usually turn out nice. But today I went in with my mom and got a full set of acrylics. Will not be coming here again.

Got a “pedicure”, the guy hardly rubbed my feet-at all.... they used Smiths bags for the paraffin wax, did a very quick, half-a**, poor job. They made my husband bleed, a pretty good amount, and my paint job looks TERRIBLE! I’m not one to complain or make someone fix a poor job, so I’ll be fixing it myself.....

Came in on Sunday to get my nails done. the man who did my nails didnt say more than two words to me. he got done and didnt ask me if I wanted designs ... which I did. put me under the light and walked away. then as Im in my car I look and all my nails are crooked and three of them have large dips in the nail. I am completely unsatisfied and do not think I would ever go back there. mostly because i dint think his grinchy self could or would fix them. completely awkward and horrible service.

Just WOW!!! I have been to many nail salons across the country and I have never been treated better than at VJ’s!! Don gave me a full set and it is FABULOUS! The beautiful Venessa gave me a pedicure that revived my tired feet. They treated me as if I was the only customer they had. Ive been coming to VJ for years now and the service gets better and better every time. Vicky is the only one allowed to touch my eyebrows and Johnny is so amazing and detail-oriented when it comes to nails, Ill happily wait until hes available. Tom is another go-to, hes super creative and nice to work with. They never make you feel like youre asking too much, even when I know I am. Everyone here is fantastic though, but these three are my go-tos.

Took my daughters there and agreed on a price and style before hand and paid before hand... I left them there. When I came back they didnt do what was agreed upon. As soon as we agreed on the price and such they pushed the girls in and wouldnt even listen to them after I left. It would be nice if they spoke clear enough English to understand them

I just wanted a fresh set of nails. My friend came here and got three of her fingers cut by the guy who did her nails so I just wanted somebody else to do them. I said I wanted maybe the lady cause she seemed good at what she does and quite frankly I was scared to have my fingers cut if I let the same man do my nails. She then proceeded to speak about me in a different language thinking I couldn’t understand what she was saying as she shook her head no and shaking her hands no and insulting me, I just walked out. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a terrible experience anywhere other than here. I’ve tried to come here about three times and each time just gets worse and worse. I hope everybody else has a better experience in this place.

They did an amazing job on my nails. I came in for a fill and the last place I went completely butchered my nails, Nina fixed the ugly yellow nails and made them look beautiful again. They are thin just the way I like them. I highly recommend this place!

So I went here on June 26th because I wanted to get my nails done and see if this place was good. Straight off the bat, the people here are not mean, but there is one person who may or may not seem a bit snippy depending on who you are. I personally thought that they were a bit rude, but thats just my opinion. So if youre a sensitive person, I wouldnt particularly recommend this place. Moving on, the place isnt what I would call welcoming. Yes, you get greeted at the door with a nice hello, but thats it. There isnt much conversation between the technicians and the customers, you just go there and you get what it is you came for. If thats how you roll, then this is the place for you. To continue, I got a manicure and pedicure. These people are not bad at their jobs. Theyre way better than the average unlicensed nail technician, so thats good. Im satisfied with my manicure. I got my nails painted with gel nail polish and they look nicer than anything I could have done with them. All in all, I liked what I got, but Im not gonna go so far as to say that this is the best place to get your nails done. There are definitely better places, but if youre just looking to get them done and dont particularly care about how perfect they have to be, then I recommend this place. The person who did my nails was very nice and efficient. To conclude, this place gets three stars from me. I liked it, but it wasnt the best it could have been depending on who you are.

Used to always go there but I went with my mom one time & the lady kept on trying to sell me stuff. I understand that shes just trying to sell their other services but I was clearly not interested. She then preceeded to put glitter on my toenails when I didnt ask for them & then charged me $5 for it. Too pushy. Never went back. Been to City Nails since then.

Couldn’t stand the smell of chemicals.. it was so strong I was nauseated. I simply went in for a nail takeoff and after waiting 15 minutes and being completely ignored, I left. These people were rude and seemed to not be the least bit concerned about customer service.
