My daughter and I had manicures done today! The nail techs were so good to us. My daughter is 11, and very shy. Her nail tech was so kind and gave her a flower painting on her nails at no charge. She talked a lot to my daughter, it was a great experience! My guy was awesome! He is hilarious! I wish I knew his name! He is usually there when I come in! Very personable! The salon is very clean, and calming!

Did a pedicure. Went in the morning and got right in. Love the color choices. I do wish there was a little bit more to choose from between $25 for basic pedicure and $40 ish for step up. Gel was an extra $15. My feet feel great!

I’m sorry but this was bad when I showed them what I wanted what they gave me looked nothing like what I asked ! Fine whatever I paid it was fine, I couldn’t take it I had to get them removed and so I came here few weeks after and I got them removed worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon! She was filing my nails with the electric filer and it burned and it happen several time she was very rude acting like it was my fault! Acting very annoyed with me and talk to her coworkers know her language while acting frustrated with me I didn’t need to understand what they where saying to know it was about me! Very rude I was going to get them re done but no not there not no more .

I Love going to V J Nails and spa they are very friendly and have excellent customer service! Its the only place I go to get my eyebrows waxed they always do a wonderful job!

Nina, Anna, and Moon have always done a great job on my pedicures. I am on my feet most of the day both at work and at home and their skills really make my feet feel like new. Their spa chairs are very comfortable. My wife and I have been going to VJ Nails (Smiths Marketplace location) since 2016. It is always a joy.

The service is always really great! The work the do is beautiful.

Treated my daughter to a pedicure but it was a complete rush job . 20 min in and out including painting and drying the nail polish for at least 5 min. 😪😪😪

I love going to VJs because it is right by my house. Vicki is very friendly and everyone there is always so fast which I appreciate. I havent had to wait very long either but call ahead if you go at busy times. I had a guy named Tim today who was great. He was very quick and efficient. Not a talker but thats not unusual or a deal breaker for me.

Terrible. Didn’t even file or cut my nails! No cuticle trimming. Rubbed my legs, painted my toes and out for the door.

I had a wonderful experience at VJ Nails and Spa. Nina was very accomodating. I called with short notice for a pedicure appointment and she happily secured my spot and stayed late in order for me to get my service. She did a great job and was very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Never in my entire life have I had such terrible pedicure. They rushed through the whole thing. And they didn’t even have anyone waiting, the place was completely empty. On top of that, one of the ladies was sleeping!! I definitely recommend spending your money somewhere else as they clearly don’t care about providing good service.

The lady I had rushed so much and talked with her co-workers so much that she grinded the skin on my toes. The kicker was that no one else was waiting. Not sure I will go back again. The place was nice but they need to not focus on talking so much with each other and focus on the customer.

I went in for An acrylic clear full set and left bleeding everywhere. All my cuticles bleeding. I have cuts all over my hands from the nail file. She was absolutely horrible. Do not go here.

Go to nail artist 3 and 7! they are so sweet and they make such good conversation! they are so talented and and they always give you what you want! i am always and forever going to go to them no matter the wait.

Love the set up of this place! If you go get your nails done ask for lee to do your nails, she’s awesome! I went for the first time the other day and she was awesome! Normally when you get your nails done the person doing your nails doesn’t really try and talk to you but lee was a very social person! It was refreshing and nice to talk to someone when I’m used to whoever not even trying to talk to me. Lee did an awesome job on my nails; did exactly what I wanted!

This was the 2nd time that ive gotten my nails done here. You can tell they know what they are doing & pay very close attention to detail. I would definitely recommend anyone here. Their prices arent too bad either, & their salon looks more modern than most.

The gal doing my nails rushed through it, cut me several times, was rough, and when I tried to tell her I wanted my nail shape different from what she was doing she just kept making them shorter and not listening to me, when I tried to explain she would talk over me and say okay okay okay. When I tried to leave and just pay for what was done they kept saying no no no we’ll give you a discount just sit down, I just went with it, they didn’t fix anything, they were supposed to be square but they’re extremely short bumpy and round. They also charged me full price then asked how much of a tip I want to leave? The most insane nail salon experience I’ve ever had.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Went in, had a full set done. There was a gap between the tip and my natural nail. I called to get it fixed and she kept telling me that my natural nail was too short! Well she cut them and tried telling me she didnt. Had she handled it better and was not blaming me for it, I would not write this review. Instead it was my fault. Just RUDE! I will say she did take them off and gave me $ back.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! My nails are crooked they are not shaped the way I asked. When I told her multiple times that they were crooked and that they were not shaped right she just kept telling me they were fine! I have never wrote a bad review about a business in my whole life but I cannot believe the way that my nails look right now. Worst experience ever! Such a waste of money!

Ill give two stars cause they CAN be beautiful nails but when I just left from getting a REGULAR FILL, it was $35 + $5 tip $40.50 I basically paid for a WHOLE new set? I get the $2 increase but this is NOT right! I will NOT be coming back.

I never write reviews, but this visit really bugged me. The whole pedicure took 20 minutes, when it shouldve taken 45 - 60. They didnt scrub my feet AT ALL, and they charged me for the bs flip flops. I will never go back.

I’ve been to this nail salon 3 times hoping that my experience would be better than the last and I was disappointed each time. This last time I went in for a manicure with gel polish and a young man assisted me. He seemed very annoyed that he had to help me. He rushed through the entire thing and was rough with my hands. He cut my nails way too short. It seems like they’re prices are always different when I go in and it is overpriced. That will definitely be the last time I go to this Salon. Horrible customer service.

I came here with my sister in law and mother in law and we had such a good time! My pedicure felt amazing and my toes look so cute. The employees that helped us were so fun and talkative. We all recommend this place.

I gave two stars because the woman who did my nails was really nice but my nails were only a 3/10. They looked great when I left but on further inspection they were crooked, misshaped, cuticles were cut too short, and the paint started chipping the next day. I got my nails done a week ago and they look like I’ve had the polish for weeks! I only went here because my regular nail lady was out of town and I paid $30 for a shellac manicure. That’s what I usually pay but $30 was not worth the results I got at this salon. I won’t be back.Edit: changed my two stars to one. Went back in about the issue and they were unwilling to fix it.

I went for full set, wait for couple of minutes not bad at all, for being Thursday, so start conversation with the lady, you know, she was very like into very a PERSONAL STUFF, I responded all her questions but she started talking to her co workers and her language I don’t like that! They laughed! After that I felt awkward! Her job was not good, another lady sitting next to me, she didn’t like the job the guy did, I saw it and it was horrible and she ask to take them off, and the guy insisted to keep it and the lady repeatedly said take them off and he did. So I will never come back to this place! I prefer drive farther to West Valley Y2K nail salon than this one closer to my home!

Terrible! First, I had a pedicure which was OK until they charged me $40 for a $25 pedicure and when I asked why, the tech said gel polish on toes is $15!!!! I have been here 3 times. Each time a different nail tech. I had hoped it would be a better experience but each one seems to be worse than the last!!! I only came here because I needed a last minute pedi and nails. The nail tech was so awful! She filed so far into my nail bed that she keep hitting nerves within my real nail bed. She had a picture hanging on the wall that I pointed at and said I would like that length and shape. 3 times I had to ask her to reshape them and none of them match up in length! By far the worst looking set of nails I have ever had!

This was my experience 7 months ago and I submitted it on Yelp. I just recently noticed their high reviews on Google and I couldnt stay quiet.I have been to this nail salon 4 times now. Every time I go, I think I will never go back there because of how rude their workers are. But it is really close to my home and its nice when I need to get a pedicure fast.I went recently with my daughter who is 13 and it was her first pedicure for her birthday. There were several other people there getting pedicures and getting their nails done. Every time a worker asked us if we wanted an upgrade to something and we declined, they looked pissed off and then spoke to each other in their language. In fact the entire time we were there, it was kind of obvious when they were talking about us. I just cant even believe how rude it is. I know a lot of salons are like this, but Im sick of it.The color I picked out was ruined or something. It did not go on smooth and left chunks of dried polish on my toenails. I didnt notice while she was painting but the way she was shaking the bottle I could tell she knew something was wrong with the polish when she kept trying to paint. Instead of asking me to pick out a new color she just continued. The lady barely even said youre done or anything she just got up and walked away and called over her shoulder for me to wait until they dry before I stood up. She also applied my nail polish with my shoes on and got some on my sandals.The next day huge chunks are coming off of my toenail polish already. That is never happened to me before after a pedicure.Im done. I will never go back to this salon again.

Went in to get a fill. Showed them a picture of what I would like to get. They said no problem. Didnt like the glitter on the tips of the nail, had them remove it. My nails looked nothing like the picture. When I went to pay they charged me for a full set. She never said it was going to cost me more. Wasnt happy with the way the nails looked. Very disappointed.

Ive been here a few times and they are very sweet. The girl that helped me last though kinda seemed like she didnt want to do my nails. I had acrylic on and wanted to switch to shellac. She only shaved down a little bit of my old design and just painted over it so if you look at my nails you can see my old design under the new paint. Just a little annoying.

I was so happy when this salon opened up! Close to home and the Smith Marketplace. Super friendly! I think I have had just about everyone there do my nails and they are always gentle and kind. But my favorites, by far are Vicky and Kim they are awesome. Very comfortable and clean salon. Always busy, but never much of a wait. I highly recommend!!

Very rude.I got a male that seemed upset didnt look at me the whole time and only spoke to me when asked what color I wanted. He was also very rough and quick not very enjoyable.You know theyre talking about you and it makes you feel uncomfortable.I wont be returning.

The gentleman that did my nails acted like I ruined his day when I showed up for a fill and gel nail. He was rough with my hands and hurt me with the dremel numerous times. Never said a word to me the entire time I sat there other then to rush me on a nail color and he didn’t even check the length... so one hand has longer nails then the other. when I was done I was charged $33.50.. they charge you to run your card and the prices are outrageous! He had an extremely bad attitude and made me feel bad for even showing up. I regret tipping him $5 because I’ll never go back again. This is my third time there and I will not be returning. Very poor customer service!!!

I have been coming to this location since November of last year. I used to go to the Jordan Landing location but when my Nail Tech transferred here I followed her. The place is clean. I know all the techs and they do a great job. Yes they get busy because they have a lot of repeat customers. I make sure I make an appointment. They always make sure I am happy with the service. It is hard finding the right salon. I came from MN so i had to try 4 different places before I landed here. Total I have been coming to VJ Nails for a year now. I would not know what to do if my nail techs leave. :)

Do not go here.... I’m actually writing this review as they are doing my pedicure right now... the brush they used made my skin so red & irritated... they are rushing and terrible quality.

This was my first visit after a friend had been telling me about it for a few years. I decided to check them out today and Im glad I did. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. I had the Deluxe Pedicure with shellac and it was amazing. The nail tech did such an amazing job on my feet and nails and I will definitely be back.

Got a pedicure. Wasnt a horrible pedicure, massage chair was great. However, they never let the water get hot enough, and I didnt feel like they got all of the calluses off of my feet...The guy I went to did a great job with the french tip and design on my toes though!

Nowhere else Id go to get my nails done, other than their other salon at Jordan Landing. I love that, regardless of how busy it gets, theyll always take whatever time it takes for me to get what I want. And Im one of those needy people that always gets designs, different colors, etc. But its worth every penny!!

Been going to my nail place for 6 yearsThe last 6-7 weeks they have been extremely rude, short tempered and down right not a customer friendly place. I have loyalty and thought theyre just going thru something so I keep going.Today, after starting me, someone she knows comes in and she says I have to go back and wait ?? I ask how long my grandsons birthday is today, her friend says no, Vicki, Ill wait Vicki very angrily tells me you wait? Again her friend says noVicki grabs my hand, gets on her phone, and manages to cut my finger !! Which she then proceeds to tell me I asked you to wait? I asked her do you want me to just come back tomorrow? She replies just let me do my job and tries to now sand the cut nail!! Holy hell it hurt! I said no Ill come back later she saysYou pay me 10.00 RIGHT NOW! I paid her and left !!I dont understand ...But I strongly advise people NOT TO GO TO

The people here are quiet, but very nice. However, one man there is funny as heck. He will have you laughing the entire visit. Their work is wonderful too.

If you go to this place beware of one of the men working there. He was very rude and did a crappy job on my manicure. All my nails on my right hand are either pointing one way or another. The female workers were very nice to the other ladies who came in and got their nails done and made small talk, while the guy who was doing mine just asked me what I wanted and then just go wash my hands and put my hand in the dryer.

They are the best in the valley, I cant wait for them to reopen!

This was my first time coming to this salon, so I was a bit nervous as I’ve gone to a previous salon for more than 3 years.The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because online it says they open at 10am, which I arrived there at 10:00am and checked in at 10:02, but as I was checking in there was only one other customer but no workers in sight and the lights were off. I waited about 5-8 minutes before someone else came to help me and do my pedicure. It’s not a huge deal to me, but I would recommend for the owner to make sure his employees come at least 15 minutes before 10 just to set everything up and make sure they’re ready and not rushed!Other than that, my mani/pedi came out really good! Both of those who helped me, I didn’t catch their name did a great job. Price was reasonable, for both I spent about $56 (with tip included). I did a gel manicure and regular nail polish on my toes. The other salon I go to, I normally pay $30 for both (but also because it’s a school but the students do great work.)

Editing my review: quality has gone down a lot recently. Nail clippings from the previous client are left behind on the table, yuck! Dirty towels are reused. And the new employees are constantly yelling and fighting with each other - not a relaxing spa experience.Always very clean and friendly. Annie did a wonderful job helping me find the perfect polish color and doing my shellac manicure and normal pedicure. They have a huge selection of shellac gel polish colors.

Did not get in a chair until 30 min past my scheduled appointment time. They had scheduled 6 people at the same time and only had enough technicians for 5. Came in with 3 others who were also scheduled at same time as me and we all had to sit separately and were all done at different times. 2 of the massage chairs didnt even work. One of our party was seated in a chair for over 40 minutes with no one to do her pedicure. They were not apologetic at all. This was a very disappointing mothers day experience.

The techs didnt listen to what I wanted and when I kept trying to explain that I just wanted French tips they put acrylic nails on, they were upset they had to paint the white tips on. When I went to my normal nail place to have my nails taken off, it took almost an hour and a half because of how thick they were. The customers in the shop were also having a hard time getting what they wanted.

I got a mani pedi here with my daughter last night and while the employees were friendly, my nails look bad. I got a gel manicure and the polish doesn’t go up to my cuticles so it looks grown out by 2 weeks. And the polish on my toenails is so patchy and bumpy. It looks like a child did them. Really disappointed. Not to mention it cost nearly $100 for my daughter and I for mani pedis.

Very beautiful, clean, and fast! My first time here and it was my best compared to most salons ive been to in the past 5 years!! They are also open on Sundays which is a plus because not alot of salons are open!! There prices are great and there service is amazing! The owner made me feel at home and so relaxed! Not to mention there prices are great!!!

This place does not even deserve one star. I was continuously asked to upgrade and when I kept saying no they acted angry and began speaking in whatever tongue they speak and was rudely handles. And it appeared to me that I was pushed off on one of the least talented worker. I wish this place would go out of business. My friend also made an appoint for 5 people and when she arrived they told her they would have to wait. My friend was very upset and said no they were not staying and would not be back.

This place is okay. I got a nail filling with color there. One of the workers accidentally got me and another customer wet while cleaning the foot wash area. Just make sure you tell them what you got. They charged me the full set price without asking me.

Originally gave 5 stars because I’ve been going here for over a year and had no problems. However, the last two times I’ve gotten a manicure, I’ve been cut and bled badly. The first time was when the lady was cutting my cuticles and the second time she managed to cut me badly with the E-file, which took two weeks to heal fully. Not interested in coming back, which is unfortunate because it’s so close to me.

I love VJ nails. I started 8 years ago at the one in Jordan Landing and moved to this one when they opened it. I have never had an issue with getting my nails done or having a pedicure.

He was rough with my fingers. And was a lil brat wen I sat down he acted like I ruined his day. The ppl wer nice but left with chunks of extra stuff underneath
