Willow Cove Maintenance has been by far the BEST! I have had a few issues in my apartment to have taken care of and they have always shown up in a timely manner. They have been extremely respectful and friendly to deal with. I have had to call after hours and on the weekends and they always show up happy and ready to help! Tim, Mario, Jerry, Nick, Max and Tye have been amazing!! Thank you guys for all you do!!!
I was interested in an apartment at Willow Cove, so I called in and spoke with China. She was fantastic, very knowledgeable and was able to help me gather all the information that I needed. I met with her a few days later to do a tour and she made it a great experience. She was patient, understanding, extremely helpful, and was able to answer every question that I had in regards to the complex. I look forward to working with her in the future.
I just moved to Utah with my fiancé and kids about 5 months ago and we moved into willow cove apartments not knowing anyone or anything about the area and we are very pleased with what we have!! Lacey is definitely good at her job she is very sweet and is always willing to help!! The maintenance men work their butts off trying to make sure our apartment complex is up to par!! All the staff is always smiling and willing to help make our home enjoyable!! The price for our apartment is very reasonable!! I can’t say enough good things about willow cove and their staff
Willow Cove was such a lifesaver! We were building a home and had to sell our old home in order to qualify. Long and short, we had no where to go for a couple months while our house was being built. No one wanted to rent to us for 3 months! Along came Willow Cove. We were able to sign a contract for a year with the understanding that when our home was finished, we would be able to give a 30-day notice and move into our forever home, without any penaties! The management team has been so great! There is even a pool to relax in!
The office staff is pretty cool id actually say Eric really tries his best to help so I usually always go to him or the assistant manager Patty. Whenever I have an issue and want to speak with the manager about it she seems to never be available or never in the office whenever I stop by. I would always get referred to Patty and she would try her best to help resolve my issue. The complex isn’t brand new but it’s still decent pricing for the West Jordan area. I just wish the manager was more present to help with my needs rather than ignore my requests and send me to her co workers.
I paid $45 to apply for an apartment just to find out it wasn’t even to have my application screened and have me considered. Then I was informed the apartment I applied for was already taken. What a waste of time, and money. Very disappointed.
Willow cove Apartments are very big scammers that pretend like they dont know where you moved to. Almost after a year of been being gone from the Apartments you get a letter from their attorney trying to sue you for money when you dont even know that there were costs owed. They also add damage and they and get more money then what they were originally trying to get out of a family who is on disability. Also my daughter was bullied at this apartment complex and nothing was ever done when I put in complaints about what was going on with my daughter. Also my husband was very Ill and asked for handicapped accessible apartment and never got it. We were continually harassed by the management of my daughter doing things that she was not even doing to their property.I
The office staff is friendly but incompetent. Either that or willfully dishonest. I specifically called and asked if I needed an appointment to tour an apartment or if I could stop by around 5:30, 30 minutes before the office closes, because I work until 5pm. I walked in before 5:30 and everyone was assisting others except one lady. I approached her and explained my interest and she politely told me to wait for her colleague to finish. At 5:34 I was told they cant show apartments after 5:30 and they have really strict rules about. I asked if someone occupies the space and that isnt the reason so she went to ask someone for permission to show me the space. I was again denied so I asked if theres a law and she made up a half sentence about the equal housing opportunity act... Just be careful with any information you get from the staff as they seem willing to make up things to avoid work.
I lived at Willow Cove for 4 years and really liked my cute little apartment. The maintenance guys were always so nice and quick to respond. Location was close to my work and other convenient shopping. Overall my experience here was very good.
The people who lived below us smoked which made it very hard for me to be there (Im very alergic). We lived on the top (third) floor, which meant very hot summers and challenging to move in and out with our stuff because of the narrow stairs and rails. The maintenance staff was a bit tyrannical: They newly marked a parking spot as theirs and then had our second car that was parked over the weekend towed with no notice. I thought that our car had been stolen. It took me over a day to track it down, and cost us several hundred dollars (had to pay an overnight fees). Talking to our neighbors, we learned you didnt cross the maintenance people (definitely not a customer first/friendly enviroment). I was very glad when we made our escape (moved) from here.
I was reading reviews for the apartments and thought I would add mine to it as much different from those I read. I have found that the office personnel are friendly, professional people that have answers to any questions readily available. If not, they will find out the answers and get back with you. They are willing and very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Then there are the maintenance men that are nice and very accommodating comes to our assistance. They are knowledgeable and has solutions to what needs to repair the problems. They even educate you while working on the problem. I like the location of Willow Cove complex, like in the center of West Jordan. It allows you to find anything you need: restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. the website tells you more. Check it out. The complex also has its amenities as well. I like the clubhouse room where you can have various parties, or other types of get togethers. Willow Cove Apartments is family oriented that provides opportunities to become a community. On different occasions throughout out the year, the complex provides get togethers by offering free food and soda drinks to mingle and celebrate for whatever occasion. Just need to show up! This place is works for me...I’ve lived here going on 16 years.
Some close friends of mine live here they always pay on time and have ran into a few issues. One of which being the horrible bird problem, their deck is always covered in poop(this is a big health hazard!) the office has not done anything to fix the problem after their multiple attempts to reach them. Upsetting that they pay so much for a place not willing to easily fix the issue. Don’t recommend.
Lived here for almost two years and loved it! The office staff is AMAZING and always so helpful. I never had any problems with them when I had questions or concerns, they always were there to help. Maintenance is AWESOME and always came to fix whatever needed to be fixed. They’re all so nice and you can tell they work hard to provide you with the best experience while living here. My husband and I can honestly say we had a great time living here at Willow Cove. It was where we moved right after getting married and we made many great memories here. A great starter home for us! Thank you Willow Cover staff for being the best!
Went to see an apartment and was quoted $300 over their online price and the price they told me over the phone.
Disgusting apartments with bad customer service.
Welp you know its a sign when you cal inquire on apartments, and no answer DURING OPEN HOURS. Read the reviews, Ill take my money elsewhere, until they can fix front office manners and better regulate complaints. Keep it fair and safe not jaded 🙅♀️
We lived there for a year and moved out the second we could. I read previous reviews before we moved in and was pretty skeptical of them all because sometimes people just go straight to review without trying to fix things before reviews. But after my experience I can see some of these reviews as a reality. But honestly, my experience here wasn’t that great at all. Living in the apartment with out having to talk to management was great but every time it was a joke. Our car got broken into and like every week a car isn’t broken into. When I talked to one of the management staff they were apathetic and all they said was, “ok we’ll let the security people know”. They didn’t show the slightest amount of “I’m sorry this happened”. This was frustrating. And when they said they have a “courtesy security patrol” don’t believe it. If they do, why are there at least two car burglaries a week? And then the second month we paid rent the online payment system was weird and so after three times of trying to pay the rent, they made it so I had to do a money order for the other 10 months we were there. 🤬 I understand it was my fault for doing the wrong account but never did they say if it doesn’t work once then call us. And then when we moved in they said that we can expect about $60-80 for utilities and so on. I understand it was an estimate but that’s $20 more that I have to squeeze in because they weren’t very up to date. Never once did we have it that low. Always was around $99 plus the $979 plus utilities. So we were paying $1200 for a one bed one bath 800 sq ft apartment. What a joke. Then this week I got a call saying that they had some mail that the new tenants gave to them that we could go pick up. Well we drove 35 minutes to pick it up and when we got there they already returned it to the sender?!?! Seriously?? They called Wednesday and I said we’d come get it today. Yeah I don’t like this place one bit. As far as contract goes, I read it all so some of these reviews didn’t surprise me cause it says in the contract. So read it seriously. That was fine. Melissa was awesome when we moved in. That’s all. I’d recommend somewhere else.
Earlier today coming home from work... I couldn’t unlock my apartment my door. Couple minutes of trying, the door would not unlock. So I then called the leasing office and told them that I was not able to open the door to my apartment. I was told Maintenance was on the way. 10 minutes later Tim with the Maintenance department arrived. He was very Friendly! did a fast and great job with fixing the lock mechanism on the door. The highest praises to Tim!
My family lived in these apartments almost 9 years ago and they just barely got around to somehow charging for damages that apparently used to only be $700 or so dollars and now they’re saying we owe over $4k and as they’ve already taken over $2k and they still want a settlement amount of $900, don’t move in here if you plan on wanting to save your money in the future. They’re terrible to deal with.
I lived in Willow Cove for a little over a year. And I had a great experience. The staff at Willow Cove is very friendly and willing to work with you. Patti the manager has been exceptionally attentive to my needs and always so helpful. The maintenance staff as well. My request were always done within five days and they fixed other things around the apartment with out me asking. Even came to my house at 11:00pm one night to help with my gas that had shut off during winter. The pricing is decent for what you get. Could use a little renovation. Never had trouble with my neighbors or the area in general. Honestly if you are good tenant, abide by the rules and pay what you are supposed to, on time you will have no issues here.
This is my first time moving into a apartment... I would first off like to say thank you so much to the leasing office, they have been so amazing since day one and have answered all of my questions. A lot of people leave their trash and old furniture everywhere which has caused problems for me as I sometimes have a issue getting into my spot. The workers have been so kind enough to come around daily to clean up after others and move things out of the way, thank you so much! So far, so good. I do recommend this place for anyone looking for a apartment, very spacious layouts.
Willow cove is the worst apartment Ive ever lived in I was there 3 years and the management socks they would even change a light bulb by the time I move and hardly any lights in the place and when you do move they will sue you and not work with you at all patty is the worst manger Ive ever met dont live here u will regret it for sure .
Avoid this place like the plague. False accusations regarding payments so they can milk hundreds of dollars out of you, poor maintenance, everything always breaking. Have had 2 pipes burst the time I have lived there and roof collapse in the storage closet. Smells moldy, maintenance takes days when an emergency is present. You can tell some residents smoke in the apartments and the smells seeps in. Apartments are extremely over priced for what they are and are definitely outdated.
Their maintenance team is nothing short of all-stars. With a feral toddler, we got to call them more often that we would like to admit. But, theyre awesome with kids, do more than is expected of them and it never takes them long to take care of the job. The office staff has always been flexible and compassionate. Minutes from pretty much anything you could need, we happily spent 3 years with Willow Cove before moving on to our first House.
So yes as you can see by my five star I do love this place a lot I grew up here,IRS so safe its so great for kids to just play and have so much fun but, when we moved we told the office manager that we were moving and everything and then after she said that she was kicking us out so now were stuck paying 500 dollars out of every pay check to this place and we dont even know why the apartment was clean and nice
I lived at Willow Cove for 5 years. I just moved out this week. The staff was amazing. Patty, Kendal, and Mario in the office were always so helpful, kind and friendly. Couldnt ask for a better office staff. But the maintenance crew were over the top fantastic! Jerry, Larry, Clint and Mario amazing! Super friendly but in a very respectful manner. Larry and Clint were usually the ones I dealt with and I couldnt have asked for better. They were always prompt in taking care of any problems I had. They were professionals all the way but with a kind and friendly demeanor. They totally know their stuff when it comes to fixing ANYTHING at the complex. As a single woman it is important to trust who I let into my place and whom I am alone with. They were super professional but could also joke around a little and make the situation comfortable for me. It can be a tough balance sometimes but the guys on the maintenance crew really knew how to do it. I had to call security a few times in the middle of the night because of a neighbor and they were equally as prompt, courteous, helpful and professional and took care of the situation. I would for sure recommend Willow Cove and the wonderful staff that runs it. Larry and Clint...You are the BEST!
My wife and I have lived here for a year and the best I can give this place is three stars. The maintenance staff is wonderful, they are so quick and friendly. We also enjoy the pool. However, the administration of the apartments is deceptive and money-grubbing. The apartments are incredibly overpriced and the amenities are slim to none. Nothing comes free at this place. We received a bill each month for every single utility used, and that bill was not just our usage but the usage of the other apartments, split among the units, so we had to pay for other tenants water and gas. We were also charge a monthly service fee of $30 on our utility bill just for being sent a bill. We were sent a notice that our lease was ending and we needed to decide if we were going to stay within three days of receiving the notice. A little bit of a time crunch, but thats doable. When we called the leasing agents that same day to find out what the price would be for another year lease, they told us they didnt have the prices yet for us and would call us when they did. First of all, they should have had the prices available BEFORE they ever sent us a notice like that. Second, they didnt call us even within those 72 hours. We had to email and then again call them to finally get a response as to what the rates would be. Please look elsewhere for your rental needs, this is not the place for your or your family.
The apartments are really nice, I feel like you get a lot for how much you pay. The area is awesome, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and feels really safe. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. We moved in recently, and so far our experience has been great!
Scheduled a tour with a Melissa the other day. The tour was great, and the showing seemed very professional. The entire office seemed very friendly. The location was great and the environment was pretty tidy.
The maintenance staff is amazing and friendly. The office staff is Ok. Melissa is the best one. The rent is SO EXPENSIVE for an 80’s apartment. I used to live in a 1 bed 1 bath apartment, and the rent was almost $1200 with usage. When I left the apartment, they charged me a lot of stuff, like $150 only for the carpet cleaning. Even though I had paid the deposit, I still needed to pay more $200 when I left. The apartaments are VERY old. People smoking marijuana everywhere, you can hear everything that your neighbors do. I really don’t recommend. If you wanna loose your money when you leave, go ahead. Also, you can find a better, newer and cheaper apartment in West Jordan.
It’s only been less than a week, but so far the complex has been great. Not too loud. Our unit is in s good location on the grounds. Three play areas my kid loves to play on, even though they are older. Not the most updated place but the staff has been really nice.
Last year when I moved back here for the 3rd time Ive had the pleasure of learning to know Clint (maintenance man)! Ive known Larry and Ty=(AWESOME) for years. Larry and Clint (maintenance professionals) go OVER & ABOVE the call of duty, and ALWAYS go out of their way to help out in ways I never expected; making my living conditions here THE VERY BEST within the capacity they are allowed. The monthly rent & amenities charge here is quite high for a one bdrm, old, outdated apartment. Yet every time I need something Larry and Clint step up to the plate IMMEDIATELY to help (create a better in-home atmosphere) with excellent repairs and get the job done right the first time!!! THESE PROFESSIONALS NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED! They have extensive experience in all aspects of their profession. So friendly and personable, as well as very professional! HIGH 5 TO THESE GUYS. Maintenance services are SUBURB! Thank you for all you do!Sincerely, bikermom
Let’s be honest, everybody hates to move but in the same breath it’s exciting that you’re starting a new chapter of your life which is exactly what I did. I have been a resident at the Willow Cove apartments for two years now. Both my older kids are on to bigger and better things and are living their own lives. I had no need to spend a couple extra hundred dollars for a bedroom that I wasn’t using so I downgrade to a smaller apartment in the process could not have gone any smoother Patty, Melissa and the rest of the staff were very accommodating, friendly and down right awesome during my transfer to a smaller apartment. They are an awesome group of people.
I have a problem in the toilet of the bathroom since Saturday I called the number they put for after hour maintenance but no body answer. Today is Monday I called the office to report that and asked them to send a maintenance technician to my apartment they said we will send it right now and I was waiting but no body came. My husband called them and they said we will send the technician soon. It is almost the end of the day I called them for the third time and I shocked they told me this is not an emergency thing and I could wait till they finish their ‘ important things’ first and then they will check my bathroom!! It is night now and the office now is closed and no body fixed the bathroom. So I’m waiting since 3 days no body show up this is really frustrating.
I visit Family who lives in Willow cove, I drive by garbage on the ground all the time, one time a broken bottle and called the office, because it was after hours they wouldnt be out until another day to clean up the broken glass, Today March 1st, 2020, I came to visit besides their rent always going up, and when someone uses more water it effects EVERYONE in that same building. No plowing has been done with the snow fall or cleaning of the sidewalks. I will never apply to live at this complex, its been getting more and more ridiculous all the time.
I lived here for two years. I honestly can say that the maintenance people were wonderful to work with. That is about the limit of the nice things I have to say. I had neighbors that would blast music at all hours of the day / night and despite me calling the front office, nothing was every actually done about it. They left multiple infraction notices on the neighbors door, but the music never stopped. There were multiple people with dogs that did not clean up after them. Whenever you called the front office it was like roulette as to rather or not they would answer and rather or not they would actually be able to help you. When I moved out they sent me an absolutely outrageous bill for final charges and when I called them on it they immediately back peddled. Honestly it wasnt the worst experience living here, but if you can find elsewhere, I would recommend it. Also take photos when you move so they dont accuse you of damage that was already there.
Great staff. Helpful when needed. Always keeps the residents in the loop with different apartment checks/cleaning/activities. Love the option for different holiday get togethers. Price is somewhat high, but I guess it is normal for the area. We enjoy being on a 3rd floor, but would much rather a view of the mountains than our neighbors’ porch.
After several false starts with other apartment complexes, I was impressed and relieved by how quickly Willow Cove was able to take care of our needs. Each phone call and in person interaction exceeded my expectations. I look forward to having my sons be residents there.Updated to add: we have been impressed by the friendliness of the neighbors. So far the only negative thing I have noticed is some litter here and there around the grounds.
I was honestly shocked to read so many negative reviews regarding the management at Willow Cove, because they have been incredibly helpful and understanding with my family. Ive had 3 major surgeries in a 1 year span which has left me out of work. Because of this, weve been a one income household, which made the rent....difficult. The office always worked with us to the best of their ability, which is something I cant overstate. In the 3 years weve lived here, I have never once called the main office and not received an answer, and any maintenance was always completed quickly and in a friendly manner. However, the maintenance was usually, unfortunatley, spotty. Most things weve called about have needed to be re-repaired at least 3 times, each time the crew shaking their heads at the work of the last repair and calling it lazy and doing it differently, but not necessarily better. The apartments are severely outdated and overpriced, and there was mold when I moved in (which I did fix myself because I didnt want to trouble the apartments after how theyve helped us with rent). Theres a massive stray cat infestation, and people leave dog feces quite frequently, but I cant really blame the apartments for that besides not putting out a fine for feeding the strays. On the other hand, the neighbors are exceptionally nice, everything feels very safe, and the walls in the apartments are pretty thick (Good for us. Were loud) There are plenty of positives amd negatives about these apartments that should be weighed before moving in, but overall, my experience has been fairly positive.
We just barely moved in, but so far so good. Melissa in the leasing office has been fantastic in helping us get all set up. The only thing I can say so far is that it would be nice if there was an updated playground!
I have lived at Willow Cove for 9 years and it has everything I need. I’m located within minutes of shopping and the freeway. The staff are great and maintainence is usually quick. The grounds are always maintained. I generally feel safe and my neighbors nice! It’s a nice place to be!
Ive lived here for a few months, and so far its been great! During my initial move in process, Bobbie in particular was beyond helpful. She responded quickly to all of my questions and requests. She was able to communicate efficiently with me via email, which is best for me. She and Jared (I think! Sorry!) have done a great job keeping that communication open after my move in. In my opinion, the units are well priced, and although a little older than some properties, they are well maintained. Any maintenance concern is quickly remedied by sending a quick email. The layout for parking is fantastic! There are plenty of spaces for my guests to park. I have interacted positively with several of the staff, and havent run into any big issues!
Incompetent leasing agents who do not know the details of their programs. I messed up by signing a document I didnt read carefully enough, but it was after a 30 hour drive and erroneously relying on the agent to provide me with accurate details of what I was signing. The home buyers program:$500 up front for the privilege of terminating with 30 days notice without penalty, provided a contract to buy a home or new emplyment in another area can be shown. The detail that I was not given even after asking specificially if leaving prior to 3 months wpould be an issues, is that at least 90 days of rent must be paid regardless of how early a notice to vacate is turned in to the office.Melissa Lomu is the name of the agent with who I worked.
I think the staff is fantastic. Weve had quite a few maintenance issues in our apartment, but it is one of the last that hasnt been refurbished yet. The maintenance team has been very communicative and does a great job, though sometimes it takes them a while to get to us (except in emergencies).
I loved the fact that I was approved immediately, within 24hrs. I appreciate that everyone was super friendly and ready to help immediately. Thank you Willow Cove staff, I appreciate the help! You guys awesome!!!
So far so good! People are currently doing some beautification of the area as I move in which really impresses me that they are putting in effort to keep the area up. Leasing people were incredibly helpful when I was apartment hunting from across the country and was calling them asking various questions such as fees for water, projected rent, pet fee, etc. By the time I arrived all that was left was looking at the apartment and signing the lease!
When we found out we needed to be in Utah in two weeks I gave Willow Cove a call and they got us set up right away. We were there for just about two years, for the last year we signed the home buyers lease and moving out once we bought our house was no problem. Maintenance was great.
I moved from out-of-state to attend school and i felt at home here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! I needed to stay an extra amount of days after my lease ended to finish up my boards and they made it happen without any problems. My maintenance requests were handled in a reasonable time frame and the maintenance staff are also friendly. Also when it snows, the roads are plowed by the time i hit the road and the walkways are kept clear. If I did not move back home, I would definitely move here again.
This is one of the larger apartment complexes I’ve lived in, and chances are, not all tenants will see eye to eye living in such close quarters. That being said, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the management and maintenance staff. They continue to go above and beyond to find solutions and are very willing to work with you, no matter the problem.
I used to live there for 8yrs and if I can get my roommates to move back there with me I would be living there again. When my 8yr old daughter lived there they had 3 or 4 play grounds, a kitchen that had plenty of room to actually cook your dinner, none of the order to eat out every nite type kitchen s. I could go on and on about how great they are.
Do not live here!!!!! The maintenance team is the only reason to live here. That is if they are told to fix your issue. Currently at $1000 a month for a one bedroom dumpster. The apartments are old, the inside is beyond out dated, and the outside is falling apart. If you can get past that, then comes management. Have been here a few years and the problems are mounting. Does management care? Not at all. They tell you its first come first serve. Ok sure, but 2 years????? Cmon. Spend your money a few miles away and the places are amazing. If you like gross water, poop on your shoe, people in your parking spot, loud music, cops always looking for residents, and no AC in the summer, then look no further, your home. And please do not respond with your number, saying please call, we the willow cove team are here for you. I HAVE BEEN CALLING AND WAITING FOR YEARS!!!!!
The staff and maintenance workers are super nice and helpful. They remember my name and are always kind. The apartments are fine, there isnt really a way I will ever LOVE living in an apartment but at least this one has a great pool, workout room and great managers. Ive lived here for over 2 years and yes there have been issues you cant not have issues. But they were handled in the best ways possible and I dont think I could say enough nice things about the staff.
My boyfriend and I live there and have for about 9 months. Im not sure why these reviews on here are so horrible, I have had the best experience with them. The maintenance crew is absolutely awesome, they have had to come and fix the A/C like 3 times but they are always so funny, and definitely quick to take care of the problem. I also find the apartment we are in to be quite nice, and it is one of the cheaper ones. I work at apartments as a leasing agent and trust me 800 for a two bedroom and 1 1/2 bath with two balconies is about as good as it gets. Also, as far as management goes, I have had nothing but good experiences. They have always been very helpful! Very impressed with the service we have received and will definitely be renewing!
I have loved living here. The management always responds quickly and all maintenance requests are always taken care of within a few days. The only thing that has bothered me is that neighbors are allowed to smoke on the balconies but for some that isn’t a problem.
My experience with Willow Cove apartment is extremely disappointing. My Wife and I were lied to about the unit that we were getting. I told Melissa that I was in love with the layout of the 2 bedroom apartment and that it was perfect. After everything was submitted and the lease was filled out, we received the keys to our unit. It was not disclosed that our unit was handicap accessible which completely changes the layout. The unit smelled horribly. When talking with the complex, they told me that we could move units, but would have to pay a fee. I told the office that we were unable to move in that day due to the horrific smell. They came in and said that they would try to deodorize the unit. The deodorizing helped a little bit but it was still pretty bad. They said there was nothing they could do. A week after moving in, we received a late notice for not paying $1. Come to find out, Melissa made some calculation errors with our move in and we missed $1 somewhere. Whatever, we paid it. The outside of the complex was dirty and we had paint on the outside and the storage door. Fast forward to 63 days before our lease ends. My wife and I submitted our own detailed notice to vacate the premises at the end of our lease. We took it in and handed it to Kendall. Kendall handed their own version of the vacating the premises paper and had us sign it. A month later, I get an email from Melissa asking me if we were going to renew our lease because our lease ends soon. Surprise!! Not only did they not have the notice we handed them but they didnt have their form that we signed! Her response was I dont think weve received it. We signed it there!! After speaking with the manager, they said that they would honor the 6o days. Now it is time for the walk through as we handed in our keys. Patty did the walk through and said the apartment is perfect condition but we will be charged for the drip pans, carpet and the last water bill and we went on our way. Due to the consistent issues, I sent them an email 2 days later asking for a reply to our walk through so I have it in writing. No response has been received. 2 days later, I sent them an email reply asking for a follow up. Patty called me, told me of all they charges that they want to charge for the perfect condition apartment and the 2 water bills they will forward. Which, as no surprise means that we owe them more money and will not get any of our deposit back. I asked for a written response my email so i have it in writing and she basically told me that that is what the phone call is for. They are refusing to reply to my email. They dont want any of it in writing. Save yourself the hassle, and go somewhere else!
I recently contacted them about an inquiry involving whether or not they accepted felons. Its been difficult finding a place for my daughter and I after deciding to sell our home. Mario was super informative and professional. Hoping to become a tenant. Either way I would recommend this complex to anyone. Thanks for all the help!
We really love living here. We have very quiet complex. Anytime we have an issue they are quick to resolve it. (Not many) . We have been blessed to have very quiet and repsectful neighbors. We really have no complaints. I will say its nice that we are renewing our lease this month and we were given a list of upgrades or carpet cleaning as an incentive for renewing. We couldnt have asked for a better experience with the staff. We moved from out of state and they were so kind and made it an easy transition. We have been here for a year and hope to be here for many more.
Staff is awesome! I call for maintenance and they respond quickly. They took care of the issue and are very nice and professional.
Willow Cove Apartments are awesome. They are always there when we need some help. They take care of repairs quickly when we need something fixed. The staff are kind and reliable.
My opinion of living here goes up and down with who I deal with in the office. They dont seem to have a clue with what is going on when it comes to maintenance issues. When it comes to A/C issues I have been lied to two separate times about maintenance people stopping by already and fixing the issue. It is only when I have threatened to hire outside maintenance to resolve the issue do they seem to get their act together. When you dont have to deal with the office, the apartments are nice enough. Rent is high, but that is most everywhere right now.Update:We had two emergencies in our building with blocked pipes two days in a row. They asked us to not use water both days but never communicated when we were good to use it again. The office staff seemed clueless that they should notify us that we were good to use the water again. No empathy, no sorry. They just don’t care. They are there to take rent payments and put in work orders. The office staff doesn’t really care about the residents. I have also reached out to the regional manager and she can’t be bothered to return a phone call either. The property owner should really find someone else to manage his apartments.
Management was great and discussed everything I needed to know and could expect duringy finally inspection. The leasing agents were amazing, polite and welcoming from the momemt I came in to inquire to the time I moved out. The maintenance team was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional... Work orders were attended to right away. It was impressive!Neighbors were friendly. My family (and animals) loved the layout and spaciousness of the floor plan. Great pantry spaces and nice kitchen size. Close to everything I needed (schools, work, shopping, doctors, hospital, etc.)The best apartment-living experience by far. If a 3-bedroom were available when I needed it, I would have loved to stay at that complex.
The staff are very nice, competent, and helpful whenever they can be. The community is very nice, with friendly faces abound. The aprtments are very clean and spacious, with a great layout that feels very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.
They’re close to the freeway and most importantly they care. Like actually care, I have several medical issues and they understand and support me to the very best of their ability. Maintenance is terrific!!! I have lived in so many complex’s and never met more friendly, caring and reliable maintence men as Larry and Clint. They get it done right and do it quickly....the staff can’t be beat.
I love Willow Cove. Kelton and Mario are awesome and super helpful. The maintenance staff is great as well! We werent planning on staying here for a long time when we moved in but we ended up renewing or lease.
My boyfriend and I moved here and lived here for a few months before we had to leave due to roommate issues. The people in the office are very nice and whenever we needed help with maintenance or other issues they were polite and the problems were solved very quickly. They keep everything maintained. The only problem we had with the apartment complex was we think that they closed the pool way too often. About once every four days it was closed for cleaning and it wasnt even cleaned that well. Still a great place to live though.
The worst customer service to their community. Sadly I am stuck on a lease but I do not recommend move in. Their employees are trained mediocrely. The neighbors are bias and racist. Not a friendly place for children and they do not prep the apartments properly for move in, the bathroomCeiling fell within a weak of move in.
We had some reoccurring issues with our neighbors and a maintenance issue that took longer than acceptable to resolve but overall it was an alright experience. The management were easy to deal with and Kelton was exceptionally helpful; he made us feel at home right away. Most of the maintenance staff was also good and easy to work with. When we were moving out, they didnt do a walk through and waited several weeks to tell us that we owed for some arbitrary items like touch up paint and normal carpet usage, beyond the point at which we could have done something about it. We offered to move out early and offered early access in order to avoid these issue and address them while we still lived in the complex, but those were declined and we were told it wouldnt be an issue.Be careful when youre moving out. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
I was generally happy with this apartment complex up until several months ago (I mean, they take a while to get to repairs that arent deemed immediate, but so do most complexes). We learned that there was an issue with our electricity that was the apartments fault and because of it, we have been given a couple hundred dollars in fees. We have now argued to get credit for those fees for 3 months and nothing has been done yet. Also, do NOT come to this complex if you might ever want to buy a house early and need to break your lease. Their fees are RIDICULOUS! Especially because they have a home buyers program that would save you thousands of dollars, but of course, no one ever tells you about it until its too late to apply for it.
My husband and I have lived here for 4 months, and to be completely honest weve had a couple issues. However, the office staff has been wonderful in resolving those issues in a professional yet friendly way and we have been nothing but pleased with them and the environment that we live in. Its nice to live in a place that actually feels like home and has staff that you can count on. We look forward to the rest of our time here!
If I could give no stars, I would! This is a HORRIBLE place to live. I would not recommend it to anyone. The management here sucks! They charged me for the PREVIOUS lease owners utilities for 2 months which is pretty illegal? Not only that, but after moving out, the expenses they charged me with were outrageous and unnecessary. Obviously, they are a run down broke community, and take every opportunity to rip you off.Things in my apartment were always breaking, and never being fixed. The smell was awful and I could never figure out what it was.Worst complex Ive ever lived in. Please re consider when thinking about living here. You will regret it!
I have only ever had one bad experience with this complex and the staff and once it was brought to their attention they fixed my problem, gave me a rent credit, and the person who caused the problem no longer works there. They take all matters serious because they care about their community. They give a grace period of when rent is late- just make sure you pay then because it goes up to market rate if you are late, which is explained to you at the beginning. Best management at an apartment complex for sure!
I love living here, just wish they would come and fix things when they say they will. I live being able to add whatever I want to the unit.
I have lived in the apartments for 10 months now, we did not have good service or help when we moved in and couldnt move in for 2 1/2 weeks. They made me sign a 1 year lease when I only wanted a 6 month lease. We have not had good response time with them at all and they clearly do not know how to run an apartment complex. I understand there are a lot of people living there but there are certain things that are a necessity to life that should have been fixed ASAP and werent we had to find someone else to come fix it. They are pet friendly, but too friendly no one cleans up after their dogs and it is stated that they have to yet there are no actions taken for those who do not follow these rules. The place smells because of this, very badly might I add and every where you walk even on the sidewalk there is dog poop on the walk way. DISGUSTING!My husband just recently was hired for a different job in a different state and we were told we needed to be in our new place in a different state by the beginning of march. Forced to break our lease I have not been told the correct information at all and they have not been helpful in any way. Mocking me on the phone when I am just trying to receive answers on how to go about the move. Very unsastisfied and will NOT I WILL NOT refer anyone to this horrible, horrible place.
I have lived in many different apartment buildings throughout the Salt Lake valley and I want to express how personable the office is and every time I saw them they were so nice and remembered who I was. I had a child with some health problems and they went out of their way to see how she was doing. When me and my room mate moved on from each other and the other stayed, they worked with us on the situation and made it happen. They were very kind in the whole process. Most offices seem stand offish, not this office. As far as any issues with the apartment, I really did not have anything huge. When I did, they were prompt on resolving the issue. I highly recommend this apartment complex. The rent is very reasonable as well.
We put a $200 deposit down 2 1/2 weeks before moving because the prices seemed so good and it was close to work. After I put the deposit down we decided to Google some more pictures and thats when we came across the violent history. We saw how much crime was commited in the complex and near. So we called back the next day and asked for our money back because we werent comfortable with the history and crime rate. They refused to give our money back.
This is the worst place you can consider live or bring your family...Pretty uncomfortable situation when our air conditioner went bad and they took 4 weeks to fix it because they dont have a ladder. Reporting the situation almost every day, they just answer and suggest to open the windows because is not hot enough. After fixed they wont even offer a fair discount and make things right for all the inconvenience and uncomfortable nights we had. Even worst I had to call one or twice per week to contact the manager because they wouldnt call back.Definitely they have a bad management and they need to Improve the guess relation to keep people happy, security(so people dont get stabbed, and the kids bicycles dont get stolen)1st time call and get a bad experience 100% NOT RECOMMENDED
We have friends that live there & they have Bible Study classes/ meetings every week! Have a blessed day! 😊
Im surprised at all the bad reviews. I currently live here and love it. The management has been nothing but helpful. I had a bad experience with my first roommate, and they did everything they could to help me through it. They always are understanding of situations, and are more than willing to work with you. I would definitely recommend it here.
This place is a big scam and a rip off. If you dont want to feel like your intentionally being token advantage of than I highly recommend not living here. Everyone in the office should be fired other than kelton. He is the only person that knows how to treat people like hes not better then them!
Dont do it!! Red flags are too numerous to count. Run, run run!!! Location is not worth the bs they put you through. Many other apartments that do not screw their tenants
I’ve never lived in an apartment complex before so I was worried about a few things but I have been pleased with the quick service and quiet clean and apartments! The floor plans are perfect.
I have lived here almost 5 years, my kids were so little. I have had the best office People Ever. First Laci, an Angel of a lady... Now Kelton, the sweetest, most helpful dude ever. He also puts up with my Lil Lady, who just adores him. Hopeful to get a 3 bdrm and have another good 5:)They listen to a problem, and do their best to resolve it ASAP. And lets not forget Patti, just running herself in circles around this place keeping the order. 👍👍👍👍👏
Do not move in here apartment building 8 has Bed bugs I moved out before they spread to my apartment. After I left they will try and charge you so much saying the apartment isnt clean. Im not the only one with this problem they are trying to get money from so many people that left $900 to clean the carpets after I left?! Yeah right the carpet company they used doesnt charge that much Ive asked them. I was never late on my rent except once and they charged me $250 because I was late showed no leniency.
Love it here staff and maintenance are super helpful and friendly, and the whole place us real nice. I was so excited when I finally got to move in!
Supper expensive. Have hidden fees. People will break into your car 90 a month for “water” which is supposed to cover maintenance and security. But there is no security. Had mine and my roommate car broken into.
Been living here about a year and i cant wait to move. Leasing office is 50/50 on whether or not they can help you, the manager is a sweetheart, but i cant help feeling like at least a few of their leasing agents rush through everything so they can get their comission. Ive literally had them calling me saying i didnt pay all of my rent, but the person wed given the check to just hadnt deposited it yet? I still have no clue what half of our monthly fees are for. Our heater and air conditioning have barely worked the whole time weve lived here. I havent seen my air filter get replaced at all the whole year. The people in my apartment before me had about 6 people living in a one bedroom. They got kicked for stuffing so many people into the apartment, but they trashed it first. It was clean when i moved in, but our door was impossible to open, and if you lightly pull on the faucet, it comes away from the wall. My shower drain clogs incredibly often. Im hella over charged, but if you speak to the right agent, they do help you. Mario is a pretty sure fire bet, not the biggest fan of kendall
Great place to live . Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of residents and staff, especially the maintenance people! The well maintained pool is very nice as well,
I learned it is cheaper to own. Why spend 1000 + when you can have a nice place of your own for same amount?!
I currently live at Willow Cove Apartments and I dont have many problems with it. I think that it is a nice place to live. We have been here for almost two years, and it had been nice for us. :)
Having never lived there, I was surprised when they got a judgement against me. Once I proved that I was not the person that had lived there, they dropped collections but left me to pay more lawyers to clean up my credit. They said they had done everything they are Legally obligated to do, seems morally obligated is not in their vocabulary. This raised my car loan by 3% and I now actually have a negative credit score, and this all with never even visiting this place. So having never been there cant tell you what it is like, but be very wary of management, they really dont care about anything but doing the least work possible for the money.
Service to residents is absolutely terrible. Been a resident for a year and we have asked for many fixes in our apartment that occurred before our move in and they beat around the bush. Didnt replace the carpet so we are left with a staind and stinky carpet and not to mention the bug service that never works. Dont live in these apartments folks. 0/10.
The maintenance guys have been great! The office staff are all awesome I have had no problems with office staff Kelton has been a great contact for any of my problems or any info I need I highly recommend this apartment complex
Rented an apartment, pay a good amount to live here have super loud upstairs neighbors complained twice still they have done nothing and its really disappointing and sad they management cant take care of this.
Since the stars are required, I have to put them here. My roommate and I are really looking forward to moving here, but since we both had to start full time jobs, weve had issues getting our paystubs in, especially the fact one of the jobs didnt work out for my roommate, but luckily had a back up. We have called 3 times trying to explain the situation but havent gotten a call back, even leaving voicemails all week. We have called once a day, and havent gotten a response of any kind. We understand we are just one mere customer out of many, but we actually would like to move in, considering were booked next month...please, contact us. We really need to discuss this with you guys.
We lived in willow cove for just short of 3 years. We loved the space and feeling in our apartment. But we had some really bad neighbors a few times and no one at the office ever seemed too concerned about it. Except Kelton. I learned very early on to wait until Kelton was in the office to have something taken care of. I never met the manager and we tried to call her once. We never got a phone call back. We did deal with the assistant manager a lot, patty. I didnt like her. She was rude and unaccomidating to her tenants. She only cared about 1 thing and that was money.Overall the place was great and maintenance was top notch. When we had to move out 2 months short of our lease ending they worked well with us to let someone take it over! I never regretted living here, probably still would be if I didnt move out of state!
Awful customer service! Thought it looked nice but tried calling them 2x the first call, one ring then no answer after that! Some did answer I work in a call center I know how this stuff works! Called again and they let it go to voicemail saying they were closed on WEDNESDAY? At noon? Would not recommend if this is how they treat future resident? Definatly not acceptable
Iv lived here for 6 years great staff fun events
Besides the strange smell that emanates from my circuit breaker, unnecessarily loud vents, high rent, bad cabinets, and rude neighbors, Id say its not a bad place too land. Always be thorough on your inspection sheet kiddos.
At first it was great. The neighbors are generally nice and gave a feel good vibe. But there was noise issues. The walls seemed to be thin like they didnt have the proper amount of insulation to cover up the noise. And then theres the fact the water tasted moldy. My wife and daughter agreed. Along with most of our neighbors. They said that they had to buy bottled water and personal water filters to get rid of the taste. After hearing this, we asked if the management could get someone to come to the apartments to check the pipes but they kept saying nothing was there. And that wasnt all. In my rooms master bathroom there was mold beneath the sealing paste along the tile wall on the shower/bath rim. My daughter used many different cleaning agents on it and was unable to clean this. We complained to managment and they sent someone over to look at it. All they did was take off the old seal and replaced it, but it grew back again. Aparently the guys who did the jobs the first and second time didnt do it correctly, but did they fix it? No.Now Im going to talk about public safety. First of all, theres this small kids playground near where the bus stops every day during the school year to pick up the Jr high school kids. Anytime a large breeze blew and there was maybe a couple small children on the, clubhouse, as they called it, the whole thing would shake quite a bit. Lastly there was a dieing tree in front of our building. It had been dead since the middle of autumn and didnt get cut down until late spring. It couldve easily fallen over and hurt the young children in the building we were in as they liked to play often near the area. Imagine if a huge storm came by unexpectedly and torn it from its roots all of a sudden?Definatly do not recommend this place if youre looking for safety and support.(This is a review from an an ominous user who asked me to post this here for him so that no one would know his true identity)
Lived in Willocove for 7 years . They are very responsive and friendly. I really liked living in Willocove.
