The apartment complex is good for a starter home. Prices seem to increase every year making a 1 bedroom cost $1200+ a month. The bright side is that the new management is making some good renovations by adding a fitness center and upgrading the pool. As residents move out they are remodeling the apartments.
I wish I could say Ive loved my experience here. But its been the complete opposite. Management for this property is consistently changing, even the leasing agents seem to be different each month. Maintenance is quick to respond but the job always seems to have a quick fix. I had water pouring through my downstairs bathroom ceiling and the patch job that was done looks like something I could have done myself. They told me the issue was a bad gasket in my upstairs tub, which they replaced..but water will still come through my downstairs light fixture if the upstairs tub is filled up more than 1/4 of the way. So we only use the shower. The ac in the upstairs bedroom only blows through one vent. When Maintenance came out he told me that was how it was supposed to be and I needed to close all my vents on the 1st floor so the cool air would focus on the upstairs..which may make sense if the air actually came out of more than one vent. And for the cherry on top..Im dealing with roaches. Yup...Ive lived here over a year and never had an issue until now. Orkin has been out for almost a month to treat my building (or that is what I was told) and Im still dealing with them. I have kids, one who is a crawler..so you can imagine how great that is. There is always trash OUTSIDE and AROUND the garbage bins. No one picks up after their dogs, so having your kids play outside on the grass is a no go. Parking is a joke, there is literally NEVER any available spots but no one gets towed for parking illegally or having unregistered, nonoperable cars. My neighbors are nightmares, leaving their chairs and kids toys in my parking stall nearly every time Im gone and return. For the price I pay in rent, I would expect better conditions. However everyone in the office is very nice.
It has been great living here.
Broadmoor village is the place to be. You all are amazing.
First, let me say I do not live here. However I have a close family member who does and I am here 3 or four days a week and it is not unusual for me to need to stay the night a couple times a month. I have also stayed several days pet sitting while my family member is away on businessThere are a couple of cons to living here but mostly it is just a lovely place. The grounds are pretty and well kept and the staff are friendly and accommodating. My family member just raves about them. They have an AWESOME recycling program and several other little benefits that just make living here nicer. The biggest con is soundproofing. And frankly I am not sure it is cost efficient to correct. Depending on what room a conversation is happening in, and how loud the person is, you can almost make out the entire conversation. Im not talking about hearing the side neighbors. The most egregious is the below neighbors, followed by the upstairs. The children here are a little out of control. Kids will be kids, and I have raised a few myself, so it is what it is. But when they gather under the windows and scream, or stomp and yell up and down the community stairs that lead to each apartment, its a little much - and very loud. The mailboxes need replaced. I think they are original and they are pretty worn and the locks are difficult to use. Just replacing the locks, cleaning, and painting would do wonders.I realize I have a lot to say about the negatives, but I would want to know if I was choosing a place to live - and overall the community is charming and lovely. It also seems very safe which would be HIGH of my list of wants. And again, the staff have been so lovely to my family member. You dont find that very often. Or ever really. Its pretty darn nice.
We are Very Please living here! After moving here from Colorado! Utah is Beautiful!!
Where do I start, in the beginning was tough, moved here from California and needed a really spacious comforting 1 bedroom apartment. Did my dues by shopping around and of course you always try to find the best priced and adjust to how the apartment is to make ends meet financially. The staff here especially Lexi and Jennifer were more than amazing and comforting when barely moving to this state. I felt as if I walked into the office and it was just family so I was able to ask any questions and receive the best service in all aspects. Eventually I ended up getting the 1 bedroom apartment I was looking for and lived there for 2 years, the apartment had everything I needed. Just recently moved out but moved to another wasatch property. Top quality service and if I have ever to move again broadmoor is definitely one of my options. Thank you so much Lexi and Jennifer!!
I’ve recently been looking into the apartments here, and it’s been such a good experience! apartment hunting is usually a pain for me, but my guide lexi was a total sweetheart and answered every question i had (i had a lot) and put me right at ease. love her, love this place. quality!
You guys did amazing i definitely am very happy with you guys id recommend anyone that wants a stress free experience
Morgan was an amazing guide and answered all of our questions. She made me feel comfortable moving to the community.
Do not rent from them! They will not adhere to their contract that you sign. Noise levels ridiculous at all hours of night and nothing will be done. If you leave they will send attorneys to collect. Doesn’t matter how many complaints you file with them. It’s only about the money and not the renters.
I had such a great experience searching for a new apartment. Lexi helped us out so much!
I had a positive experience touring Broadmoor. Lexi was super helpful and kind!
I Love living here! I had moved back to Utah from Colorado due to my husband passing away suddenly and from the time I first walked in the office over 2 years ago needing a place for me and my 2 kids to live fast, they were so amazing and treated me so good! Would definitely recommend Broadmoor Village apartments to everyone! Lexi and Jenn are both great and helpful with everything I have every needed!
Lexi was great to work with! She helped us find just what we were looking for!
We have lived in this complex for 3 years now and the 20+ years old AC from the BEGINNING has not worked. The techs will come by to fill it up with freon and call it good. It NEEDS to be replaced. Its currently 88 degrees and our house is 82 degrees, doesnt cool down at all. Not to mention our power bill will definitely go up as every year and the complex wont do anything to fix it. We submitted our 3rd ticket (once per year) and hopefully they will do something about this. We regret signing a new lease and will encourage anyone whos looking for a house to make sure the AC unit and appliances arent 20+ years old. They will not do anything to fix it if its running and you will be paying double the power bills and sweating all day and night.
Rent is way too expensive for the floor plan that is given for a 2-bedroom TownHome. The walls are way too thin, and noise of neighbors on both sides is extremely disruptive. $90 “late” fee, but I’ve already notified front office that my pay roll runs 5th and 20th of the month. It may not be their fault, but it is annoying because it’s out of my control. Complex seems like it takes any opportunity to take more money from people than it’s actually worth. Disappointed in the quality of the townhome I rent, and I will not be renewing my lease after it’s up.At move-in, carpet was gross, tape was placed over water leak damage on the main floor ceiling, door hinges not properly secured, light switches that don’t communicate with the outlets, no light fixtures in the bedrooms, closet doors slide off the tracks, blinds are old and come off by breathing on them, and ant issues with nothing on the counters (even after a thorough clean). It’s beyond anyone why there are that many issues at initial move-in. Poor upkeep. The only good thing that comes with what I pay for is maintenance being quick to respond to requests. Office staff is kind, but Broadmoor Village and its owners need to evaluate their prices put on this property. Not worth it. At all. 1/10 stars. Nothing against staff or maintenance crew, because it’s not their fault Broadmoor Village charges crazy rent for a shoe box.
Moved here 2 weeks ago. Every appliance in our kitchen is broken. Carpet was disgusting, they had to clean it 3 times, bathroom sink is broken, countertops are destroyed and nasty, all closet doors barely function and fall off tracks constantly....move in sheet literally had something on every line as broken or damaged. And they want to charge me a $300 deposit for repairs and carpet cleaning after we move out in a few months? What are you guys even using it for?
Brady was awesome! He is the reason I rented at Broadmoor Village. He was incredible helpful, patient as I looked at multiple apartments, answered every question promptly and courteously, communicated with me in whichever way was best for me (in person, phone, email, etc) especially accommodating my needs while I was long distance, and followed up with everything we spoke about, and held time for me when I was able to be there in person. He even still was consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful when amending the lease.
Have had a great experience moving in here, Brady helped out a lot. He walked us through things and helped us feel very comfortable with getting everything set up, and made it very clear that he was happy to help us if we needed anything. Great place to live, great people working in the office!
I have not yet moved in, but Brady sure went above and beyond to help me get everything set up from Arizona. Video tours, countless emails, and numerous phone calls later. Only because of my situation and being out of state would it require so much communication, but never once did he get annoyed or frustrated with me. Overall, best experience with a leasing office. Hopefully, my time there is as good once I move in.
Amazing staff definitely recommend .
Overall our experience here has been good. Usually we need to call for maintenance twice, but thats probably just because they are busy.We did have an issue with one of our neighbors smoking marijuana, the smell filled our apartment, the only thing they would do was part fliers asking everyone to be considerate about smoking. We like the location, price, and our little one bedroom has been perfect for us!
Ive lived in Broadmore Village for almost 3 years now. My family and I couldnt have picked a better place since we arrived from California.Lexi, at the leasing office is an amazing person, and she is always available to help with any issues. After being there for 2 years, my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a renovated unit, Lexi made the process so easy for us. Anytime there is an issue with the unit, Lexi and the rest of the leasing office employees are prompt to fix any issues asap. The units are cozy and beautiful as well as having great amenities. The overall feel of the place is so awesome because there is a lot of green areas for children to play with, there is plenty of playgrounds and in the summer the pool is where the party is always happening, not that the neighbors get loud. Everyone here is usually pretty chill.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more comfortable place.
Maintenance service is poor. On my move in inspection I noted that there was a leak from a sink in the apartment above me, leaking onto my living room floor. They did nothing. I put in a service ticket. They said they would call a plumber. 3 weeks later, I put in another ticket. They finally fixed the leak. Its been a week since the leak was fixed, and they still havent cleaned up the drywall and repainted. Also, I havent had hot water in my shower for weeks. If I didnt stay at my girlfriends so frequently, I would probably be pretty upset.Rooms are spacious. The community in West Jordan is really nice. 3/5Staff is really friendly at least.
I have no complaints from my 12 months living here. 10/10 recommend. I never want to leave!
I stopped by Broadmoor the other day because me and my fiance are looking for a place here soon. The outside looked very inviting and the staff was incredible! Nelson was one of the kindest leasing agents I have dealt with. Extremely knowledgeable. I think me and my little family are going to begin our life journey at Broadmoor. 5 Stars.
Brady was super helpful and knowledgeable when helping me. Definitely would recommend these apartments and the office staff was super kind. Thank you for being awesome!
Staff takes great care of us and the apartment is the best for the value. We especially love the private patio and backyard!
Jessica and Jen have been phenomenal to work with! Any time I need something they jump on it and it’s fixed within a few hours. They make sure that all my apartment needs are met! I love these guys! I went from being a homeowner to renting due to some life changing circumstances. I was terrified to be renting again and they have made it the most pleasant experience! I really have enjoyed living here at Broadmoor Village!! Thank you Jessica and Jen!
I had an issue with water seepage making my living room carpet wet in a remote area. Called the office and spoke with Leo. He immediately had someone investigate the matter. He followed up and kept me informed of what was going on. I continue being impressed time and time again. These people care about the residents.
I was visiting my friend’s family and they wanted to go swimming so we all got up and went to go swimming and then they got rude with my friend saying we aren’t allowing visitors to go swimming in our pool. So the only way anyone in the apt complex can go swimming is sighing in the office.. they don’t care about there residents at all, they don’t care about anything except “MONEY” and more “MONEY”. This is not a place to live, all ways cops and fire trucks constantly. Shady ppl everywhere, I stayed over at my friends apt and my truck got broken into and my tires slashed. And the apts didn’t do anything about it. VERY BAD place to live. Get what you pay for! They let anyone move in. And these apt/townhomes aren’t Worth the rent they charge you..
Bigger living room and top bathroom
EDIT (8.8.16) So Im starting the move out process, and I mustve forgotten that they require a 60-day notice..They never bothered to remind me of this, and I will now end up paying for an extra 3 days BEYOND MY ORIGINAL CONTRACT. Yes I admit this is technically my fault, but they are doing everything in their power to squeeze every last penny out of me they can. If you are planning on living here, be sure to go over your lease agreement with a microscope. They will not make any attempt to help save you money. Apparently $7800 over 9 months isnt enough, they need an extra $100. THIEVES. SCOUNDRELS. SWINDLERS.Really helpful leasing staff. We had to move in on kind of an emergency and I toured one day and the next evening I moved in. Reasonably prompt maintenance service. Rent is a bit high but a good sized one bedroom one bath. Really like the fact I can install permanent shelves and stuff on the walls. Great location right off bangerter.
The townhomes are so cute! The office and maintenance staffs are wonderful. And we have to address the convenience of the location. Seriously. Across the street from Jordan Landing Shopping Center. Awesome.
The office staff was very friendly while I was looking into this complex. They were honest and openly gave me any information I needed to make the best decision for me about choosing a place to live. I didn’t end up moving here, but I greatly appreciate their willingness to follow up and answer any questions I had.
I was pet sitting for a few days and I noticed how hard the Grounds guy works. I see him follow the trash guys and when they empty the dumpster he goes in and cleans the dumpster areas, I have also seen him walk around the property 2 to 3 times a day picking up trash and picking up dog poop. I also see him replanting grass seeds and cleaning the breezeways, emptying theTrash cans by the mail boxes 3X a week and changing out the pet stations 2X a week. I am so glad that they have a great person for grounds. The place looks beautiful. If i needed more room I would move here based on how amazing the Grounds are.
I Really appreciate you All! I just want the mold issue Resolved we have been dealing with this since move in 3/6/18 please please Get this Mold issue resolved if not Please move us to a townhome that is More habitable thank you.
Ive lived here almost 2 years and I love it. Staff and all the maintenance guys are all great and super helpful. Never had an issue getting anything taken care of. They always have it repaired within a few hours. Yards and everything are always well taken care of. Very quite.
They are in a good location. Its close to Jordan Landing which has lots of stores (clothes and grocery) movie theater, restaurants etc. The area is quiet. The apartments are nice and updated. I do believe the price of rent is expensive and could have more amenities for the price.
Ive lived here for over eight years and have loved everyone who has lived by me! Jessica and Jen are so incredible to work with at the front office! They maintain the buildings and grounds very well and work orders have always been done promptly! John and Daniel are in maintenance are like family to my family! Nice pool and close to every thing! Couldnt ask for a better staff or place to live!! A million thanks to all who make this place truly a home!!
I have lived here twice. Maintenance is quick and friendly. John is fantastic! I would recommend living here to my friends and family.
Im coming up on the end of my 3rd lease here and I have never loved an apartment more. The staff is great, reasonable and kind, maintenance responds day of when theres any sort of issue. I love the layout and vaulted ceilings of my one bedroom. Guest parking is always taken in the evening but I have an assigned spot and if Im planning on someone coming over Ill snag a guest spot earlier in the day and have my company park in my spot. Ive seriously had the best experience living here and wouldnt rent anywhere else.
Horrible place. Horrible service. I looked at renting here, liked the apartment so I put down a $150 holding deposit since they said I could cancel within 48 hours and get my money back. Decided to cancel the next day, and gave them the address to send the check to for my money back. They decided to send it to my old apartment address even though I told them that was wrong. I call them back after a month when I find that out, they say they will send out another check to the correct address. Great. Another 6 weeks go by, no check no call. So I call back and the Lady in the office is completely rude to me. Talking over me, raising her voice not letting me speak. She says they cancelled the first check but never resent out a new one and wouldnt tell me why. Then again they say it will be awhile because the financial person is surprisingly gone again. I am now going on 4 months waiting for this check which is ridiculous. Dont waste your time with this place.
These apartments are amazing. No hidden charges, the management is all amazing and really friendly. After having problems with our last apartments it was such a relief to my girlfriend and I to have such an amazing place to live. They understood our situation and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. I would rate 100 stars if possible.
DO NOT RENT HERE. The people in the office will tell you anything to get a sale and will rush you to move in, even if the unit smells like cigarettes and you have a child and pregnant wife. They act like gangsters, by saying that if you dont put down a $199 admin fee that the unit will go up in price and basically pressure you to do it. The admin fee also was supposed to hold the unit indefinitely (which is what we were told). However after about 3 or 4 days we were told that it only held it for a few days and that the price will go up if we didnt come in and sign. They constantly change the rules and provide wrong information. Not a good sign. If youre looking for a place to live with your family, then dont choose this place. They could care less about you.
I my official move out went smooth and wonderful. Jessica was a complete doll to work with. She kept me informed and in the loop all the way around. Im super impressed with her professionalism and kindness! Thanks Jessica!
My wife and I have lived here for almost a year and have loved it! The staff is amazing and will help out with anything. The fenced in yard is a big plus. Overall its a great place to live. Parking is very limited, if you get home late dont expect to park close. Thats the only complaint about living here
We have lived here for 5 years, and the staff and maintenance have always been very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We never had any major problems, and anything that needed fixed was fixed within a few hours. The only drawback to this community is the exorbitant amount of dog poop all over, even in the kids playground area. Despite having special dog poo receptacles around, the residents here just dont clean up after their dogs. Other than that issue, I would definitely recommend living here.
We have lived here since February and enjoy it. The neighborhood is nice and we feel safe. The staff is friendly and always addresses our concerns in a timely manner. We would recommend this place to our friends.
Maintainance showered up right away when I called so that was good. He did his job and it was all set. Thank you
Weve been here for a few years now and just love this complex. The apartments are spacious, the facilities and engineering staff are great and work quickly, and the office staff is fantastic. I love that the people that work here know who you are, get to know you, and work hard to make your experience great. Weve had hiccups with our apartments, but the hard-working staff make it a great experience. Weve recommended these apartments to others who also love it.Definitely recommend this location to others!
I have enjoyed my time living here. Maintenance has always responded quickly when needed and I have had only positive interactions with the office staff. I have been impressed several times when I have walked into the office and they have known who I was without me introducing myself. Parking can be a struggle when guests come to visit and there are sometimes noisy neighbors outside at night, but overall I have loved my 4 years here.
Another truthful review to follow and accurate ...Renters beware!!...Corporate offices i will email my complaint and pics ...along with forth coming reviews...tired of being harassed after 3 yrs of loyalty and no severe issues....and issues with no proof just hear say.....I,m tired of being Harrassed buy tenants and management about my dog. Complaint that he barks all day,no proof and he is kennel trained had to buy a monitor to watch him on my phone....3 day notice to comply just let us out of our lease,,,this place is a dump and yes smells like a sewer....we cant get out of here fast enough.....Think twice before moving here check around much nicer complexes around .do your homework.
My wife and I lived there for a little over a year. I found the layout of the townhouse nice but VERY small. We had to sell our couch, just to get something that would fit in the tiny living room. The fireplace is the biggest joke, we thought it would be nice ambience in the winter, we didnt expect heat from it. But I got a bigger flame from a matchstick. It really was pointless. The heat in the summer is crazy, the upstairs roasts while the downstairs is fairly cool. And just the opposite in the winter. Outside, there were always dog droppings on the ground. I dont mind living in a pet friendly place even though I dont have a pet. But, I dont like walking around outside trying to avoid dog bombs, or letting my little girl run around outside. We also got an eviction notice on our door for being short THREE CENTS! They wouldnt take the 3 pennies, we actually had to write a check. I think for what you get, the price is WAY too high. I did however, find the staff there very nice and always willing to help. Maintenance was there when we needed and did a great job. I know the staff doesnt control rates and such. Just wish some of those things could have been addressed.
I have lived in a lot of apartments from Draper to Sugar House and this is my favorite so far. Of course they are a little older but they are built better than some new ones. They are always there if we need any thing fixed or if I notice something messed up on the property. We just signed a 15 month lease after being here a year. I think the office staff is great and I have no complaints.
You guys are always prompt and I like that you check with us regarding the work being done.
Beautiful apartment complex. We toured the area and the townhouse style 2 bedroom. Definitely a nice size apartment and I love how they made use of the space and setup.
Been here for over 2 years. I love this community and its location. The staff is easy to work with. If you have a problem with your unit it is taken care of right away. Pets are welcome and smoking is OK. Just pay your rent on time and take care of you unit and things will be great.
Been here 8 months now and overall a good experience. My 1 bedroom is clean and a decent layout. I wish there was at least one closet other than the tiny one in the kitchen. Other than that the layout is nice. Appliances are decent, not too old. Pricing is appropriate for the area. Maintenance staff is exceptional. Always very quick to fix any problems Ive had. Grounds are generally well maintained, but could definitely use some help in some areas (dead grass, mud holes from leaky sprinklers). Front desk is generally helpful and reasonable only occasionally nagging. My only real complaints are cigarettes and parking. I think everyone who lives here smokes and smokes a lot. Broadmoor village loves smokers. My neighbors are on the porch smoking all day. Thats not an exaggeration, the beer bottles full of butts and cloud of carcinogenic smoke that hangs 5 feet from my door is nauseating to breathe and look at. Walk around the complex and youll quickly see that the vast majority of residents love their cigarettes. I just wish this was disclosed when I signed my lease that Id have smoking neighbors.Parking? There isnt any. You get your one space and thats it. Guest parking is taken up completely by residents who have 2 or more vehicles.Overall its a great place, good location and nice staff.
The maintenance team is amazing and works super hard but after spending a year there I so ready to move. Tiny apartments and a front office that nags you to death about everything. Besides the maintenance team the only other good thing was that they didnt try and pull one over on us when we moved out and charge us for everything like most rental places.
Only lived here for 2 weeks and so far its great! Only things that suck is the parking is the biggest problem for sure!!! Really sucks getting home late and not finding parking at all. The price should definitely be lower for what the apartment is. Maintance is not that great. They covered a hole in the backyard where the neighbors yard was but didnt actually cover it only put 2 tiny bricks. I fixed it my self. Besides that they are great.. Office ladies are very nice
I have lived here for a year in a half now. And it is home to me. I love most of the people here. I feel safe...And for the most part I am proud to live here. The only thing that drives me bonkers! Are messy neighbors that dont take care of their place. The blinds are all falling down. Curtains look like a mess. And nothing is done to fix the problem. I pay $927.00 a month to live in a two bdrm apt.Thats not slum prices! All in all...I am happy here. Its my home...
Ive had troubles with my bank and using resident portal to pay rent. The office ladies are always so kind about it and help me and dont charge me for late fees because my bank or I missread what was needed. Amazing place to live, great community and are always trying to help. Any problems I have are solved within a day or two if not the day I report them. 5/5 amazing service. Plan to lease another year.
I recently just moved in the office staff are more than amazing and maintenance orders are taken care of right away. They are very easy to work with and understandable I really appreciate you guys really!
Reported a car alarm going off for approx 8 hours, the first call to the office (after approx an hour of unable to contact anyone) was to Rebecca, who seemingly did nothing. About an hour later with no resolve, called back and spoke with Nolan who had a tough-guy attitude, ready to fight but incapable of helping. One more hour passed, when I walked into their office and was greeted with Jennifer (property manager) saying nothing they could do and made it obvious no action was taken with the complaint calls. Advised to handle it myself.
I have lived here quite a few years and have had a very good experience here. The office personnel are great very helpful. Yeah parking is bad but its like that everywhere we have been handle it. No place is perfect but we have been comfortable here, we have only had one problem with somebody taking chairs from our porch about a couple of months ago.
I have lived here for 4 years (2016-2019) and thought you should understand the facts, most of the reviews you will read that has low stars are because of that specific tenant making a mistake, not taking responsibility and not following the correct standard procedures. I know this only because I have investigated the issues and also contacted the office manager of their complaint. Below are some things I would like to point out that I believe you should be aware of.- This location is under remodeling so there will be construction upon completion.- Read and understand all contacts you have signed. It will provide you with all the detail information that you agreed to, there is no hidden fees and if you have questions about a charge report to office or the company in questioned.- Understand that each Unit quality will be different, so upon moving in inspect the unit and report any problems in detail to the main office. If you dont like that specific Unit look at some of the others that may be available at the time.- The Floor Plan/Price they have to offer here is acceptable and reasonable. I would say its an average apartment and overall its 3/5 stars for quality & 5/5 stars for customer service.- I have notice that the front desk employees are always making mistakes on what the contracts actually states. My recommendations is to speak with the Office Manager Jessica when you have issues.- Hired Unarmed Patrol Security Officers a different times during the day. If you notice any problems or suspicious. You can suggest their time routes to be changed.- If you have a complaint login to their portal and file your report and set your priority level. Then every week or so report to the main office to remind them of your report.- Example #1 (Maintenance Issues)My Unit A/C was malfunctioning due to wear and tare. This was not resolved until after my first year. I filed my report and contacted the Main Office Manger Jessica who informed me that they were aware of the issue and have reported to the property owner that several of their units A/C needed to be replaced. Although they did not have the finance to complete this task for this location at the time, but their next year finance budget was to start replacing those units among other things as well. It may been inconvenient but understandable and every tenant here should understand and must be patient. In the meantime keep your A/C off until they replace it, unless you want to pay the power/gas company more money freely go ahead but thats your mistake. If you want to install a swamp cooler as temporary get the Office Manager Jessica approval and signed with a notarized contract which you can create and have your bank approve it.- Example #2 (Parking)Their may be some parking issues and thats something they will never be able to resolve because the landscape is only so big. The Cover Parking is restricted to only those who have purchased them and every unit has at least one available. Ask the main office to get one or if you notice one cover parking is always empty ask that tenant & office permission to park there to prevent your vehicle from getting towed.- Example #3 (Moderate Pet Friendly)This place is pet friendly but their are restrictions and rules you have to agree to via contact. Contact the Office to learn more about the details. Most tenant may complain about the noise or the owner not cleaning their pets waste. If you get reports of these complaints and wish to counter the complaint because you believe your pet is not responsible my recommendation is to speak with the manager Jessica about your report. Just know that know matter how well you train your pet that does not mean your pet is not responsible. One good defense when countering the complaint is to ask them of getting proof otherwise the contract is not breached. If you keep getting the same complaints inform the office that since there is no proof that you are considering these consent complaints harassment and will file a police report if it continues.
Great leasing staff. Like the apartment. The only problem is if you have two cars and since I work until late there is never any parking spots at the front of the complex so I have to park on the side street.
Amazing place to live! Friendly people & Staff.Jen is awesome, and very helpful!
I love living here. The staff is amazing, everything is well kept, the maintenance is always on top of everything. Definitely the best experience Ive had.
Great place to live, and great workers there, Jennifer does amazing work and will go out of the way to help you
Hands down the worst place to live!!! Do not sign a lease here. If for whatever reason you need to move, you cannot sell your contract. You will need to pay around $3000 to get out of it. There are many things we hate here so Ill just make a list:- Customer Service here is terrible, they may have good intentions but there is absolutely nothing they can do to help. Theyll tell you time and time again that they want you happy but that does not seem the case. I talked to someone who said they would call me back and NEVER heard back from them.- They will charge you a fee for anything you can think of. We always pay everything on time, especially because we are trying to buy a house in the near future. And theyll find a way to say you didnt and charge you a late fee! I paid my rent this month on the first to avoid all issues and they still charged us a fee for an error on their side of the system.- If you pay to get your walls painted, they will do a terrible job, they dont even use painters tape for your accent wall. They job in our apartment was awful!- Apartments are outdated, the carpet is flat out gross. You can tell it does not get washed in between tenants, even though we were told multiple times that it would be before we moved in. You can see the terrible patch jobs throughout the apartment including signs of mold.- The entire property management company is terrible! We had put down money for an apartment at a sister property in August, and now in November, we still have not gotten our money back. It is ridiculous. We called a couple of times, and went to to their office and still nothing. The property manager there was terrible too.- No closets. If you get a 1 bedroom apartment youll notice that there is not a single closet in the entire apartment. We were on a time crunch and ended up here, but I would have rather paid more elsewhere to be ten times happier. (They rip you off here anyway, so might as well pay more elsewhere.)Avoid this property management team and youll save yourself many headaches.
It is clear that the community was built decades ago which is not a bad thing. The area seems to be well maintained. Unfortunately if you select Broadmoor Village you WILL need to have COMCAST. As always Comcast is providing the usual level of service and solution, none. Perhaps its time that Broadmoor or whatever property management company start reviewing the contract with those scam artists. Learn from my mistake 13 months of forced interactions with those clowns are gonna drag. Just get rid of the forced technology package and let the people choose the provider quick and simple without the torture of Comcast.
I liked the service the office provides in answering & resolving issues as soon as possible. The area location is great and close by to stores, entertainment and close to the freeway which is convenient. The apartments are a reasonable price depending on your income especially at last minute move-in.The only thing that I disliked were the speed bumps in around the complex because they have scrapped the bottom of my car multiple times due to how high the bumps are & it doesnt help that my model naturally sits low. Just be cautious of them because Ive already had 2 flat tires just because of the speed bumps.
My 1st clue about this place was upon moving in, the apt was FILTHY!! Mold and stains on the carpets as well as the bathrooms. Dog fur everywhere from previous tenants after theyd stated carpets had been shampooed. We spent even more money to bring professional carpet cleaners in and cleaning services. Now onto the BIGGEST problem!Weve been here for roughly 6 months and are doing everything possible to leave! We CONSTANTLY are hearing our neighbors screaming and physically fight, and their dogs bark incessantly day and night. The front office has been notified several times as have the police and NOTHING happens with these tenants! Id expect that with what we pay in rent, matters would be taken care of. But no. My children are kept up until 3 am with the fighting and barking. Weve also notified security which I dont think have done a thing. We fear for our children and our own safety after hearing some of the threats that are made on a regular basis. The office says theyre on your side, but they just care the rent is paid on time. Even the staff doesnt live here!Look elsewhere. We pay over 1200/mo to be miserable. Its not worth it!
I have been pleased with my entire experience at Broadmoor Village. The application process had no surprises, the office staff are friendly and consistently available. The move-in process went smoothly, and my unit was clean and comfortable. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and completely. The neighborhood is great and walkable. Grocery shopping, restaurants, schools, TRAX, buslines are all within walking distance and a mall is short drive away. My daughter, who does not drive, has been able to get everywhere she needs to go. I have happily recommended Broadmoor Village to friends.
It was quick response and they got to work right away.
Ive lived here for nearly a year. I love it. The maintenace staff is friendly and professional. The leasing staff always greets residents with a smile. The pool area is nice, I havent used it yet but I look at it with longing as the weather begins to warm up. The landscaping is currently recieving an update and it looks great. Theres a big corkscrew willow outside my apartment that shades the grass and allows for residents with northern facing apartment the opportunity to get some sunshine. The best place Ive ever rented.
Its been a great place to live! The staff are great about coming in to fix things when they go wrong. Overall its a good choice
Parking is an absolute joke. We were told construction would be complete in a matter of months.... A year later its still going. No available parking after 8 pm the same trailer has taken up a spot for a year. We cant get our a.c. unit serviced for anything and our electric bill continues to climb. The screen door has been broken since it was installed and a shower involves ankle deep water no matter how many times you call and complain. Horrible tenant care and nothing but oh we are sorry for the inconvenience responses. Not to mention the constant notices on your door. More high maintenance than my ex
I grew up in this complex back in the 90s, and use to vist my grandmother who lived their untill 02. The property looks so beautiful but still the same as i remember it. Was a very family friendly place and piece full. :)
This is the best most amazing place to live so beautiful and the management is to die for amazing job
I lived here for 2 years. The leasing staff has always been kind, and professional. Any issues, concerns or questions Ive had have been quickly addressed and handled. Jennifer, the manager, is so kind and upfront. I really appreciated that.Jessica, the financial manager, and Skylar and Lenny in the front office are phenomenal!! I will miss this place because of them. The apartments are kind of a funky layout, 614 sqft for a 1 bedroom. But the 1 bedrooms do come with a washer and dryer (small, stackable), which is nice & convenient.I never had any issues with packages left on my porch, or issues with neighbors. There was a couple who smoked but the office was super quick to take care of it.The guys who do maintenance are thorough and do a good job. The little notes theyd leave saying what they worked on always made me laugh (dad jokes).Overall, I would most definitely recommend Broadmoor Village to a friend or family member. This place felt like home and I was treated like family by everyone who works here.
The staff were decent. The townhomes were well kept, spacious and decently priced. I found the pool to be lacking and there was no onsite fitness center. I would have loved it if the pool was heated. Great space for dogs and there are lots of places for kids and families to run around. Close to everything.
I used to live at these apartments nearly a year ago. The stay while there wasnt that bad. Once we were ready to move out is when the complex shows their true colors. We had kept the place very well kept and cleaned and scrubbed as we moved out. As we did the walk around with the manager to make sure everything was to their standards the manager was surprised at how nice and clean the place was. She told us to replace the drip pans and that was it. So, a week later i did that and removed the direct TV satelite. Then we paid 600 dollars to move out early and for other minor repairs and fees. That part was really expensive just to leave 2 weeks early, but whatever. Then about 4 months after we had been out of the place we got a notice saying that we owed 25 dollars because the drip pans hadnt been replaced. So i went there and explained to the manager that I had replaced them and she was like oh ya i remember that, we will fix that. Now almost a year later we get a subpoena from them saying that we owe them 25 dollars or we have to go to court because we had refused to pay the money even though it had been taken care of. This is just how bad and corrupt the management is there. They are willing to go to court over 25 dollars that they are trying to steal from two hardworking college students. I never thought a company could stoop to such levels but they will blow your mind at how miserable of people they are. Worst company. Stay far way from them is my plea to you!!!
Cici in the office was very helpful & answered all of our questions! Very nice office staff! And they got back to us very quickly. I enjoyed the apartment/townhome however the price is too high for our budget and a little too small for our forming family.
Well i moved in a few months ago and besides the construction its a quiet place, the neighbors keep to themselves most of the time, and i havent yet found someone i havent called friend.
Jessica Britton is so amazing at what she does. Thanks again for everything you do.
The apartment complex is currently under construction. The construction workers are AWAFUL!They have no common sense to clean up after themselves. Leaving rocks on the road for cars to drive over, manually moving the parking cement block to the center of the parking slot so we weren’t able to park in the assigned space that was given for the apartment ( imagine if we didn’t notice the cement block that was dead smack in the middle of our parking spot) We had to park down the street until a neighbor helped move the block back to its original spot. Very upsetting that the construction workers are so careless about their jobs! SAFETY ISSUE forsure!
I would give no stars if I could. We lived here for 18 months and had so many issues. We sustained damage to or personal property because their contactors left large nails all over or back patio and in our reserved parking spot. We had 4 instances within two months where their contactors were parked in our reserved parking spot and we had to call to have them move their vehicles. The after hours noise complaint number they tell you to call constantly goes to voicemail. We had other residents approach us trying to sell drugs to us. We did not feel safe raising our kids here. We had alot of residents approach us asking for money. Or dog was attached by another off leash dog and the apartment management didnt do anything about it. We also had issues with online payments and with the move out process. Please dont love here unless you have no other options. Its not worth it.
Started out good at the beginning of my lease, but has steadily gone downhill since. Too bad to because it used to be really nice living here.
I dont even live here and would never consider it. The apt layout is horrible and the PARKING is unbelievable. I was visiting my daughter over the holidays and she lives in the front by office.Several nights we had to park on the OTHER side of the daycare facility That was quite the hike!!
Whenever anything breaks they are there within the hour, they are so understanding and will work anything out with you. And the maintenance crew is so friendly!
Apartment was not clean when I moved in. Place is not well insulated and impossible to keep a consistent tempature. Complex is always very loud. The one positive is they will do short term leases and allow dogs.
Good very quick with the maintenance guys. .
If you move here, you better be single and have no friends. Guest parking is practically non-existent. Very frustrating.
A great place to live. The staff are so efficient and if any issues arise, they are handled quickly.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PUT DOWN DEPOSIT. Recently my wife and I went to look to move into these apartments. At the time we had other places to look at as well for better options. When we talked to their employee that worked with us about getting a refund if we chose not to stay, he hesitated and then told us yes there is a refund if you choose not to stay. Before we left he did not even give us our papers for the credit check information or anything cause the printer was having problems. ok fine. I trust this guy cause he is very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. Stupid in my part because HE FAILED to mention we would have 72 hours to respond or we wouldn’t get our refund back. Stupid on my part because I am too trusting with people. Because he failed to mention the 72 hours, we lost $199 deposit we put down. When I tried to reason with him over the phone the next time I talked to him, he talked over me saying “I told you three times hahaha”. If you are an experienced employee with good people skills and have courteousy for your customers, you would know that it is very unprofessional to speak over a client. Anyway in the end we signed the application where apparently they mentioned the security deposit timing for a refund so they have that against us. That’s what i get for trusting an employee who smiled at me when I asked about a refund and he simply said “yes”. We were definitely impacted to the point where I don’t even want to deal with apartments ever again. 99% truth and 1% lie that screwed me over. READ BEFORE YOU SIGN PLEASE. Learn from my mistake. FYI when I called the Wasatch group regional manager Patrick he assured me he gets “these kinds of calls” almost everyday. Clearly as soon as he saw my application I signed, he didn’t care about anything else I said. He said it was just business. Don’t even bother contacting them. If it’s seriously severe enough just go to court.
