It has taken me a while to post this but I wanted to show what an amazing job Chloe did for me. Originally I was very unhappy with the cut and color I received but the manager worked with me to help me get it redone. I am very greatful to Kelly and Chloe for helping me. I will 100% be coming back when I need it redone. I’m so in love with the color, it’s everything I could’ve asked for. Thank you.

Salon is beautiful! Nails done perfectly, with LOTS of color options. Techs were very nice, chairs were all new and so relaxing. Everything extremely clean. They accept walk-ins and I didnt have to wait long at all despite not having an appointment.

They should tell you how much the service would be before they start on your hair. I left there with a 300 dollar bill for hair color. If I would have known I would never had gotten it done. I went in for 1 color. She told me it would be around 250-350 and around 5 hours. I said ok lets just do a simple color. Then left with a 300 dollar bill. She never told me how much it would cost. Never going there again.

I primarily go to Nikki and she has worked wonders on my blonde hair, cut, and conditioning treatments. Carey is also very talented with color (esp blondes) and Tarey is also awesome for cuts/style! Being able to book online has been helpful and they have always kept the salon very clean, especially now. It was my first time getting a pedicure and I was nervous at first, but the place was very comforting and made me feel welcomed.

I drive all the way from Montrose/Downtown Houston to get my hair done here. Along with many other women Ive recommended to go here. Im Vietnamese with stick straight, thin, fine hair and everyone Ive tried to go to does not know how to cut it to where it looks full and not stringy. Nikki is the absolute best! FYI, my friends that have gone here were of all races. Hispanic, Indian, Anglo, etc. She knows what shes doing with everyones hair. Also, if youre a brunette trying to go blonde, she will get you there PERFECTLY without over damaging your hair and it looks like it fits your look! She blends the dye in so amazingly that it honestly looks like whatever you were achieving, was already yours to begin with.To be fair though, when I cant get in with Nikki, everyone that Ive gone to at the salon has been amazing. Shout out to Teresa and Chloe. Theyve taken great care of me as well!

I get my lashes and hair done here by Chloe. Shes absolutely amazing. Im extremely picky about my hair and lashes, but after some rough explaining of what I wanted, Chloe was able to do it. Moved here about a year ago and found Clear Shades Salon and love it! This is the place to go to when you want to leave your moms hairdresser and find your own. Easy to get reservations, always looks and smells clean, and the staff is always friendly and knows what they are doing. Nikki is amazing and I dont want to ever think about leaving her as my stylist.

First off I was supposed to be spending $185-$200 NOT $300. Kind of disappointed on how my hair came out it wasn’t the color I wanted and I showed a picture on how I wanted my hair to be colored and I also spent more then I was told I was going to. I was also supposed to have my hair blow dried and styled but the stylist I had said she couldn’t finish because she had another client and she could let someone else finish me, but I was so over it and wanted to leave because she didn’t do the color I wanted. And I don’t think I’ll be going there again.... like I wanted to cry because I spent $300 on something that looks like it shouldn’t cost that much...

Mario did an amazing job on my blonde locks! He is so knowledgeable about products and how to care for your hair and keep it healthy. His energy and laugh is contagious. I was relaxed, pampered and laughed the entire time! He even stayed late to make sure I left with a beautiful style. Hands down my new go to stylist. Ive been waiting to sit in his seat and so glad I did. Happy! Thanks Mario!

I had high hopes after reading the reviews but this is not a 5 star salon. Cindy screwed that up on my very first appointment.I had a consultation with Cindy to show her the color I wanted my hair to be Cooper Red.I even brought a picture and video of the color.As part of the consultation I wanted to know about the salons pricing for each process.Cindy told me the cost for what I wanted done to my hair would be under $200 and it shouldnt take more than 2 hours.I was also made aware on the very first appointment that a blow dry and flat iron is free but after that the charge is $35 and up.(Of course, I was not pleased about that at all.)NOTHING LIKE GOUGING THE CLIENT IN THE WALLET.How in the hell is anyone supposed to know what their hair color looks like until it is dry. Hair color always looks different when it is wet vs dry.Sorry to say and regret, I did make an appointment and waited 6 weeks for my roots to grow out so Cindy could color my hair. I brought the picture and video to my very first appointment to ensure she knew want I wanted.BIG MISTAKE - Cindy only colored my roots and gave me a few highlights.(I never asked for highlights)I asked her why my hair was separated with foils because she needed to color my hair.ALL OF MY HAIRHer response was;as a professional I will not jeopardize the integrity of the hair with chemicals.UNBELIEVEABLE - REALLY - SERIOUSLY????She just put chemicals on my roots and highlights are chemicals (which is bleaching) to lift color.I do not understand a stylist that gives attitude to the client when it is my hair and I am paying for it.Oh, and I ended up paying more than expected.Cindy made my roots a reddish gold color but never colored the rest of my hair. Even worse the gold color around my face was brassy almost glowing.For some unknown reason Cindy thought I wanted a gold tone to my color.COOPER RED DOES NOT HAVE GOLD IN IT.Cindy wanted me to come back in 3 days so she could put a gloss on my hair to even out the color. If she couldnt do the job right the first time:FORGET IT.On top of that I was there for 3 1/2 hours and the cost was over $200.NOTHING LIKE GOUGING THE CLIENT IN THE WALLET.I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone.
