I was scheduled for an appointment but was turned away at the door. If you have gone to one Western Dental in the past other locations are not accepting transfers. This (and my drive from out of town) could have been avoided since the person scheduling knew I had been to another office previously. The assistant at the desk handled the situation professionally but had no solutions.

I used to be afraid of the dentist because as a kid they removed my wisdom teeth without proper numbing and it hurt like hell. But coming here has been amazing. The doctor and assistants are so sweet and kind and my cavities have been taken care of. Not once was I in any pain. I will defiantly only visit this location for my teeth care from now on.

Bad experience every time you wait on appointment for months for your children then every time they can’t do the cleaning visit. You make the next appointment and again wait forever to get in, besides, working with your childrens school and sports schedules. The staff with the worst attitude trying to make you feel like why are you even here

I recently went here for a cleaning. I was told I needed to buy Medicated Trays for $1200. So being that Im on denti cal I had to get the loan from carecredit that they offer at western dental. When I got the trays the special medicine was hydrogen peroxide. The same stuff at Walgreens for $25. Corporate refused to refund my money or cancel anything stating You signed the contract, do what you need to do.They are right, I should have been more careful and asked what medicine it was. Thats my experience with Watsonville Western Dental.

I am considering standing with a sign in front of Watsonville Western Dental to inform our local community of how this healthcare business treats their patients. They charged me $1200 for some trays along with hydrogen peroxide, floride toothpaste and some mouth wash. I asked for a refund but they refused stating You signed the contract, do what you have to do I have attached a photo of the same medicine for under $100 you can purchase at any local drug store. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, however what they did wasnt illegal just unethical.I wish I had looked at these reviews prior to trusting this business but hindsight is 20/20.That is my experience with Watsonville Western Dental

My dentist and her assistant were very good. Assistant made me feel comfort as the dentist gave me shots of novicane. They periodically checked on me to make sure I was not in pain. I was very happy with their work.

Trying to back out of treating me 2 times now.Im trying to get my wisdom teeth removed, and I make the appointment with them, (I got their info from my insurance provider). On the day of the appointment, they turn me away saying Im not assigned to them, and because of my type of insurance, I have to be assigned to them. I call my insurance, they say that isnt true, and that isnt their policy! Western dental is straight up denying my care, because they want to get me to become assigned to them. For their personal gain. Doesnt the hipocratic oath include oral surgery? This place is a joke.

They do help out a lot with my teeth. Currently getting braces, but Im not in a lot of tooth pain after getting them filled and the bad ones removed.

So negligent.. specially Dr.Tehrain....She can tell you what’s going on with out even seeing you. For any follow ups you want to make they will schedule you weeks after. But if it’s to get money out of you they will take u in next day..They are so many thing I can say about this office but I will safe my time. If u get an extraction done, you can be sure that they won’t follow up. They don’t care as they advertise. If you have medical call them and tell them you don’t feel safe there. Submit a clame to get seen somewhere else..

Ive come to this establishment several times in dental pain, or having an emergency. Each time I was turned away told we need to make an appointment its going to be another week and all you can do is go to another establishment that might have an opening on that day or go to the emergency room and go into $1,000 a debt in order to clear up an infection to prepare for an appointment that I have made because of this issue 5 days from now. all they needed to happen was a quick examination from a dentist and for them to issue me antibiotics so that I can be prepared and get my oral health taken care of. But each time Ive been turned away being told we cant do that we dont have any availability. When a person walks in with an abnormally swollen face and the inability to eat I would assume that the emergency status of that would at least elevate it to a point where they would be considered for being examined on the spot rather than having to wait 5 days and potentially hazardous conditions that could cause irreparable damage. This is a very serious oversight in Western dentals system and should be looked at and considered with the utmost severity considering this is a health issue and they are a part of a health organization.

I Got My Wisdom Teeth Out In This Facility, They Made Mi Procedure Very Easy, Dr. Oz is really Fast at he’s Work But Very Gentle. What I Liked the most is that They Have Different Payments Options but they also communicate With you based on what to expect on any procedures getting done and having majorly of reliable appointments!!

I went for a braces exam, the doctor was really nice and took her time with me. Then Yolanda helped me understand the braces costs and she was very nice while helping me to understand as well. Overall, I recommend people to come to Western because they really show the care that they have for their patients.

This has been my dentist since I was 4 years old and now I’m in braces treatment. The staff knows me by my name. I like coming here as they make me feel very comfortable and they always explain the treatment they will be doing. Dr lee is great dentist and dr Gomez is treating my braces. I also like when alondra does my cleanings.

This place does a pretty good job. Many different options as far as payment methods & treatments. Although it can get busy the employees do a their best to keep things going. Yolanda is very attentive with everyone. You can see her in and out trying to get people in and out as fast as possible. I really recommend this place, especially if your in need of an orthodontist. +5

This Office Management is A Big Joke, I had a situation where several times I’ve asked to speak to the office manager and Who ever answered the phone will just state she’s either doing a consult or she was not at the office I mean you Named it soo bunch of excuses of Nancy by the way the is the name of the office manager ! And I could Promise you guys that this ain’t the first time because it happen with me and my sister in law when she had to talk to manager regarding a case with an employee ! So right of the batt don’t count to have management support in this dental office since Nancy is never reliable when it comes to the situations occurring in this office.

Been coming here for a while now. Great customer service, doctors and staff are friendly, professional and attentive. Yolanda, explained in detail my children’s treatment and offered different payment plans. Love that they’re open on Saturdays. You won’t be disappointed.

My son had appointment with doctor lee last Saturday. The receptionist were very helpful when checking him in. He was very nervous and the doctor and assistant made him feel very comfortable. They explained to him the process and what he should expect.

My two boys are in treatment I’m satisfied with the results so far. The front desk is always very polite and friendly and the assistant don’t mind answering my questions. Recommend this braces Dr to other people.

I got a piece of meat stuck under a filling and after two days of trying to get it out, by brushing, flossing and swishing warm salt water around my mouth I decided to go to Western Dental because the pain, although not severe, yet,did bother me on occasion or after chewing on that side.After getting there on time I proceeded to wait an hour before being called back for x-rays and pictures of my teeth, which took another whole hour, only to be told the dentist wouldnt even look at my teeth without a $1700 cleaning I would have to pay out of pocket for because my Medi-Cal wouldnt cover it. Honestly my teeth arent in the greatest shape, and I have nobody else to blame but myself, but to have the dentist not even bother to look at my tooth was totally unexpected and unprofessional.By reading other reviews I see Im not the only one that had to deal with this teeth cleaning scam, I guess I should have learned better from my first experience there having a tooth removed, which makes this entire experience seem like a cake walk. I understand I cant be too picky with state insurance, but a little decency and professionalism go a long ways.

I DO NOT understand why they make an appointment for you. I was seen hours after my 2:30 appointment. They need to warn people. Youre going to be here ALL DAY. its a complete lack of respect for the patients time. Dont make any other plans if youre going to pick this place. The one star is for the friendly receptionists behind the counter.Also, you may not transfer to another Western Dental, so bizzare.

They said they accepted my Delta Dental insurance, and then in the check up they quoted to get me on over $1,600 in a cleaning and some other gum treatment, when I asked why my insurance wasn’t covering they said I was out of network. Place is a scam to just get you in the door. They called me a few days later trying to explain to my that I was covered but I wasn’t convinced since they said my insurance wouldn’t cover what they where offering.

Wonderful Dental group. Professional yet friendly and up beat. They are busy and have several different dental chairs and they were so helpful and kind. I did get a bit confused about where i was supposed to be and staff was sweet and thoughtful.

I highly DO NOT recommend this dental. And I wish I could give it no stars...Reasons why I do not recommend:#1. They made me wait 4-5 hours#2. They did a terrible job when fixing my tooth#3. I went to the dentist a week ago and my tooth felt fine, then they fixed it and it still hurts!#4. They only have 1 doctor for like 5 patients!And lastly.....#5. They only care for money....So dont make the mistake my mother did and go to this dentist. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else is probably better than this dentist.

Not really happy about their billing service, they charged my debit card twice unauthorized after I had stopped the contract, and they dont want to reimburse me on the day that I asked, the same way they took out the money then they should put it back 😤😤 the only good thing is that their assistants treat you really good they are really nice. I had a really good experience at western dental they are really nice and always attend me good. Yolanda helped my mom with my braces treatment! I’ve had dr T do my exams and I really like how she explained things to me about my teeth. And the X-ray tech Lesly was very nice and cautious when doing my xrays !

So I just want to start off by saying that I’m in the customer service industry, I recently had a dental emergency and being that my long time dentist no longer carries my insurance I had to change it and I went to this place. The front desk and dental assistants were all great helpful and happy to help you.Now about the dentist she lacks....I mean strongly lacks personal skill, not helpful what so ever and she was more about me committing to a treatment plan at 11% interest rate for a $2,200 plan Of which included a $ 1000.00 deep cleaning which had nothing to do with why the reason I was there. I should of known this was coming when she brought over the insurance claim lady before she even opened my mouth.Now if this doctor would of said, “hi my name is whatever, what brings you in today” fine I buy. But this lady lacked all communication skills, extremely robotic and to end this she refused to treat my issue without me committing to the deep cleaning.What ever happened to treating your customers with some respect, being concerned for the medical issue. Instead it was about me signing a contract. I strongly recommend u go elsewhere. Western Dental is not a good medical company and is more about making money off of u.

I had an accident which resulted in 18 months of orthodontic surgery. I can honestly say Dr. Audry(?) has been the best dentist Ive experienced. Compassionate, efficient, professional, very skilled and kind. The same goes for her assistants. I am super pleased, especially since I have medi-cal and few choices for dentistry.

Family member always come to this dentist and love it! The girl Lesly is so nice and gentle with the xtrays also always in a great mood, and the front desk is so polite

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I have a list of problems/issues with this place. Unfortunately, I have a limited amount of space. I have had to wait up to two hours to get called in on top of showing up early and there being no more than a handful of patients. When I finally get into a chair, I have had to wait up to one hour for someone to even take notice of my existence. When I get my cleaning done, I have to be moved to a different chair just to wait even longer for someone to remember Im there. Customer service sucks. Receptionists are very rude and dont seem to know what theyre doing. Lack of professionalism amongst the dental assistants and overall lack of communication. I am never told what they are doing and/or why. Told me I had five cavities that needed to be filled ASAP. I know what a cavity feels like and if it was that urgent, I wouldn’t have no pain at all. Decided not to get any and they still wanted to charge me for them. When getting a cleaning, they get water all over my face, chin, and neck along with pinching my lip with the saliva ejector. Assistant doesn’t even pay attention. Rather just spaces out or listens to coworkers’ conversations to the point where she thought I had gotten the fillings and gave me directions for the numbness. Had to pay $400 for the cleaning and was told I had no choice but to get that cleaning and pay even though I had no knowledge about any of this. Assistants always talking about personal problems. Always given appointment cards for appointments I never choose. Have to call corporate to reschedule. Horrible place.Update: manager saw this, looked me up, and called me to try to get me to go back

So far so good..... Ive read different reviews about this place but decided to still give it a chance. Both my boys have no major complaints (keep in mind theyre teenagers and no complaints would be a lie) but nothing out of the ordinary. They both see general and Ortho here and the staff at WD has been good about helping me set up appointments that work for my schedule and my boys busy schedule. I recommend it. Special shout out to Blanca and Yolanda who have helped me understand what Im paying for each in general and Ortho.

My visit to this location was unforgettable, I had some xrays done by Lesly who explained everything in detail about my teeth. Great place and great excellent customer service 👍🏼

I bring my daughter here and really like the service.Specially the front office staff. They are always very pleasant and professional. Blanca is always willing to go out of her way to help me with any questions and to give me status on the wait time. She always has a nice smile and you can tell she enjoys her job and customer service. I’m glad they opened this office here in Watsonville. Before I was driving to Salinas which always made it very hard. So much easier to have an office here locally and that is opened on the weekends!

They discriminate & refused to treat my infection & pain because I told them I couldnt afford to finance some special cleaning & a host of unnecessary things, that supposedly werent covered by insurance.The dentist was not at all friendly, didnt even introduce herself or explain what she was about to do. I asked the front desk for the dentists name & they didnt want to tell me her name, but then provided me with a name that was difficult to understand, when I asked for the spelling of the dentists name, I was not given the correct spelling, in fact Im wondering if i was even given a correct name because when i searched the State Board Licensing website for this name & several variations of the same name but different spelling, I couldnt locate a single hit on the name I was given.I emailed Western Dental main corporate office & asked them if it was their policy to refuse to treat a patient with an active painful infection, on the grounds of not being able to finance a special medium deep cleaning. I received a response back asking for my patient account number. I provided them with as much information as I could, name, DOB, etc & told them i dont have an account because Im not a patient there. Im still waiting for a response, an explanation of their policy, policy of discrimination on the basis of my inability/my refusal to finance the sum of $5000+ for services not covered by my insurance that they somehow require before I can treatment.

I was just taking my daughter in for a consultation for braces.. . .and they did it then and there she got her braces plus fixed 3 cavities we loved our first experience they have an awesome staff!

Ive been coming to Western Dental for my cleanings and braces care since 2012. Price is reasonable and they usually have next day appointments . Going in for cleaning though is very tricky its usally only an Exam then they reschedule my cleaning. And yes there are days that are super busy just make sure you ask receptionist not to book you on specialty days .

This place is a joke. They tried making me pay out of pocket. They said it will take my insurance 3-4 weeks to approve my need. I’m going on my 7th week waiting for a response. I made an appointment and when I arrived they had told me that they had called me to cancel LIES !! The receptionist was nice enough to let me know that the best idea was to go to another dentist. Poor Care recieved here... Like receiving dental care from a DMV employee... If you want someone to treat you like a human, dont go here.Never in my life have I felt such pain from a simple filling. I actually cried from the pain in the dental chair and the staff that was working on me said nothing and actually left the room.A tool electrocuted the doctor and she continued to work on me.The xray machine was broken, and I had to wait for them to fix it.I had been complaining to them about my tooth ache for 2 weeks now, and they told me it will go away on its own.Had to order special trays, upon asking a staff member when my trays would be coming. She was appalled that I thought the mail would be instant and wouldnt give me an idea of how long it would take for them to come.During my filling, I had to ask for more novocaine because I could feel her drilling...They were dropping tools during my procedure.Im not one to complain about companies, but this needed to be done.

I really like the way all the staff treats me . I have been going there for my ortho and general treatment and I like it. An thank you to Yolanda who helped my mom with not only mine but my brother and sisters braces plan. Dr. T who did my exam Was also very nice . Lesly was very gentle when doing my xrays and alondra when doing my cleaning .

My daughter had her dental appointment she was very scared to even come. She only allowed the staff to do the xrays and after a couple of time insiting on doing the cleaning doctors were very patient with her but they were able to get it done. The staff was good to my daughter.

Great for emergency things if u dont have insurence but dont let them take advantage tacking on services you truly do no need often costing at least a thousand dollars and avoid the care credit system at all cost.

This place may not be the best looking but the people in the ortho section more than make up for it. Lorena is the one of the nicest person you will ever meet and the people up front are very nice as well.

My family and friend come to this location and we really like the service they give. We always get attended fast and in a very friendly manner. The staff are very helpful, Yolanda who takes care of the ortho dep. has helped me out through out my braces treatment. I really recommend to see Dr T she’s amazing! I got my xrays done by lesly and my cleaning with alondra, they are all really sweet !!

Todays visit with ortho was great . I liked the way the dr explained the work that was being done and future goals for my smile . Very patient and easy to understand. I really like the service at the Watsonville office .

This office has the worst efn wait time.i was there for an hour for simple cleaning and it was just ridiculously long.i ended up cancelling and was just a waste of my time.customer service is awful the girls are amateurs and really have no professionalism.i wont be scheduling with them again. Western Dental has the worst customer service in general! This office here in watsonville sucks and the staff sucks they are so unprofessional and talk about personal topics with each other instead of helping patients before and after their appointments. They have no clue what they are doing. I got my braces here and i honestly wish I would have gone to Dr Connolly instead. I have seen the way Dr Connolly works and he actually takes the time of day to see what each patient needs and really explains how the treatment is going.At western dental they just stick you in a chair, dont say a word to you, and work on your mouth and send you on your way. If i want to know how Im progressing I have to ask like 100 questions because if it wasnt for me asking they wouldnt explain one thing.I 100% dont recommend western dental in general.They are okay at first but after you sign the contract its all downhill from there. Its not worth saving a couple hundred dollars and settling for the worst customer service. You will regret it if you have them treat you. I should have listened to the rest of these reviews and not signed the contract.If you try to end your treatment they will charge you like 1,000 just to get them off and be free from the binding contract.I have tried calling the corporate office explaining to them my concerns and the CUSTOMER SERVICE REP HUNG UP ON ME.WESTERN DENTAL YOU SUCK. My mother is in a wheelchair and they would not help me get my mother into the dental chair. We were turned away to find a different dentist. When they saw me struggle to hold the doors open they just watched as I struggled. There was nothing there to prop the door open. Super bummed at how they treat people in wheelchairs.

Great costomer service. The receptionist Blanca is very helpful and is always checking on the patients and updateing us with how much more time is left untill it’s our turn to enter the room. Amazing orthodontist, always making sure everything feels good. I’ve never had any problems at their office.

This business is a scam, fraud! They have injured, ripped off, manipulated, threatened, insurance scammed and intimidated patients. They have caused more harm than good. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Its not worth loosing your health, teeth and finances. These people are all on visas and will take off after so many patients complain. They have no education other than how to keep money in their pockets. Its a absolute disgrace that they are not all in prison. Buyer beware!!

My daughter had phase I treatment with the Ortho department and is now in retainers. Since day one my daughter never complained about the office staff we have been satisfied with the service and looking forward to continue her phase II with this office.

This location of Western Dental does NOT honor the FREE exam and cleaning WESTERN DENTAL IS WELL KNOW and advertises in the media for customers to read and have faith it will be done correctly. I found them to be very dishonest. A simple cleaning (with my insurance) was turned into a disaster today. After two hours of waiting I was attempted to be upsold without first earning my trust. I work in the medical field and believe this company or franchise to be under investigation for advising unneeded treatments to an unsuspecting new client. I have reported them the the authorities and warn you if this post remains to beware of this location. WD Headquarters was also made aware of this situation and names were provided. 3 13 2018

I cant even give this place 1 star because It doesnt deserve it.. The wait time is ridiculous and not to mention the staff are so unprofessional, they talk bad about other coworkers and are on their phones texting the whole time, they also curse in front of patients and eat and put on makeup in their desks.. My question is who is the manager?? Why do they let this go on without noticing?? I am never returning to that place again!! Worst experience ever!!!

Went here two years ago and never want back. Told my sisters and I we had cavities when after going somewhere else they told us we didnt. In addition while trying to fix my cavity they ended up doing more damage and I had to go somewhere else to fix it. Also, the staff working on my teeth would give weird or grossed out looks instead of being professional.

Horrific just horrific. not only do they make you wait for nothing, but the front desk staff is incompetent as well as doctors who really dont know what they are doing. my last time there i had to wait an hour to reschedule an appointment because the the lady working the front just thought i should be doing something else. the dr. said i needed to have 4 teeth pulled; got to one till i went to another dr and found out that none of it was true every tooth could be saved EASILY. i dont know whats so wrong with this place. on every aspect they failed. and i pray that no one else suffers at there hands the way i did. i have a major infection from the work they have done 3 weeks ago. the F@#KERS wont let me close my account with them over the phone. they are by far the worst dental experience that there is. oh and just to show how little they know how to do the job assigned to them they let me keep a bloody tooth that they just pulled which in CA that breaks somany hippa and osha laws

Okay so me and my brothers went for a check up. This was our first time here,and there was hardly any people in the waiting room. so they took about an hour to call us back, & once they did, they had the charts wrong, and they took about another hour just so the dr could give the assistant how many cavities we had. They also come to us & then they would leave and help other patience. Also they said i had 5 cavaties and i went to another dentist and i only had one! On top of that, you couldnt even understand the Dentist. The orthodontist was much better than the actual dentist. Its just that the orthodontist doesnt really give you much option, i mean hell let you explain what you want, but at the end its what he wants. Hopefully i will never have to come back here again.

I highly recommend this office and Dr. audrey. She has done all my treatment and two dental implants. I have several years coming with her. They are always very attentive and professional. Cecilia is from finance and has always helped me with my payment plans and explains in detail what I am going to sign. They also give me my appointments in the afternoon for my work. They usually see me soon.

The staff gets upset when they ask something and they answer you wrong and if you give the payment in the afternoon at noon they are calling you to collect wanting to intimidate you that they will charge you interest

I have been taking my wife to this dentist for almost 5 years. Honestly, the treatment of the staff is very good. They should work a bit on their wait but it is not something that happens every day. We also go to the brake dentist who has done a good job and the person who attends us there Yolanda is quite helpful. If I recommend this place to others.

I have very bad experiences of this establishment, the waiting time is horrible despite having an appointment, very bad products, two years ago I put two crowns, six months ago I dropped one, I went to be placed back and they left me with that I needed another procedure, yesterday I dropped the second one and already called to make the appointment, I have it on Monday 12/21/2015 to see how they leave me now.My recommendation is that if they go to this establishment ask for guarantees of what they put in because if there is a lot of money invested so that they only have it for less than the time they say.
