I contacted this location after having a terrible experience with the branch in Waltham.Rodrigues(z) who answered the phone was extremely helpful. I wanted to switch my mothers reservation over to this location as I didn’t want to do business with the Waltham branch. I explained the situation and he stated he would do his best to help and would give me a call himself once something became available. He actually called!! once something became available for us. You don’t know how many times customers get told “we will call you “ and never get a call specially on a Friday afternoon!!THANK YOU for actually helping. Showed up on time, after filling out all of the information on the website to hurry the process along, including credit card and license infor, to be told I cant rent a car with my type of card. Went and got my wife to use her card, and were told they had given away the car we had reserved. Waited an hour and a half to be put in a new car. Complained to corporate, who told the manager, WHO CALLED ME PERSONALLY to say that I shouldnt have complained, apparently it is policy to give away the cars people have reserved. Everyone was rude and unhelpful, will not be renting from them again.

Update September 2021: Rented again from the Watertown, MA Enterprise. Awesome as always was before Covid. Car was perfect, employees were great - only wish they would bring back the off-season weekend deals!!!Always efficient, welcoming, love the pickups at home and dropoffs. Never been scammed here, and if they run out of cars in price range selected, they give a free upgrade.

Usually I’ve been very happy with their services but this time I was not pleased with the car I picked up. The car had smell of cigarettes and also it was a Canadian car, so the speedometer was in kilometre, which made it a little difficult to get used to in the beginning. Also, the last thing that bothered me was it didn’t had any power, it took me at least 10-15 seconds to even reach 50 miles an hour, which was hard when you’re driving on a highway.
I rent from here all the time. Have left things in the car on a few occasions, but nothing important. Although never got a call saying anything was left. Rented a car this weekend, I know I left something in the car that had sentimental value to a friend of mine. When I called to see if they had it I was told they never found it. The person I spoke with, manager I guess, was the one who looked. I called at almost 5pm, so difficult to believe you asked all the staff, when I returned the car first thing that morning. He also made a comment about how it could still be in the car, although that has its own concern since with COVID this should definitely not be happening it they cleaning the car the way they should.Anyway, not impressed knowing Ill have to be way more cautious about things left behind, since I might never see it again. Would be better if I could trust them more, but guess that is asking to much.Otherwise I never really have an issue with them. So strong debate about going back or not, just anyone make sure not to leave anything behind cause youll never see it again.

A clean car right when I need it, even with just an hours notice. I always know what to expect with Enterprise, which is why I prefer renting from them as opposed to other online competitors.
I usually dont have any issues but this one occurence ruined all the positive ones:Our vehicle was not clean and had a smell and drips all over so we had to clean it ourselves.The wipers were bad and unsafe for hurricane season so I had to buy more towards the beginning of our journey.The wheel barrings were bad, and before we got on the road it made a noise, we traveled the 1200 miles to our destination and by the time we got there the car was unsafe to take on any highway. I called the Enterprise where I got the rental from and they told me where to take it but did not handle the manner personally. I called 2 locations 7 times over 2 days and got no answer, so I just showed up on the day of my return. I then took it to said location and the manager would not even see me or assist. They sent me away despite me expressing how unsafe I felt. I went to another location and they treated me like I was lying, and sent me to an automotive place to prove the issue-- there was a 2 hour wait to be seen. I called 2 other stores in the meantime andhI had to shout just to get help and make them tell me what protocol was. They forwarded to me roadside assistance which I told everything and began to cry from frustration, finally someone was listening. She called all stores in that city and after no luck locating us a vehicle she said we had to wait for the autoshop to fix the car. The auto shop made us wait another 2.5 hours then they took the car on 1 drive around the block before they said the car was not drivable and was a manufacturing issue-- it needed to be taken to Enterprise right away, I needed to demand a vehicle (for the 3rd time). The manic said it was not safe to drive on the roads,, let only interstate.They took it back to Enterprise location #2 and they finally agreed to give us a vehicle to drive the 1200 miles home, but it smelled of smoke. All of this was from 11am to 5pm.This experience left me feeling less than human and my family and Id safe was unimportant. Did I mention I had a child in the vehicle? Enterprise did not care about that ether.

Great people I had the opportunity to meet here.They picked me up at the auto body and everything was pretty much set up in the short time it took to arrive.The place is very clean even the bathrooms - a rarity - with plenty of space so you dont have to feel like a sardine.My rental was a brand new Nissan with all the spoilers to make me jealous. I was trying to figure out away to switch cars so they could keep my much cheaper Corolla. They noticed the difference and I had to return the car. [A girls gotta try]When my car was ready I didnt have to bring the rental back, the auto body shop took care of everything.I highly recommend this Enterprise office when in the area. You deserve the respect this team has shown.
Booked a car using my corporate account but it still took about 20+ mins of wait time to get to the vehicle as the agent couldn’t locate the corporate account! I am an Emerald member and National Car Rental (One of the Enterprise holdings)always did a much better job in getting me to my car in < 5mins.I reserved an “Intermediate” but was provided with a “Compact” (Nissan Sentra). The car requires some maintenance job! Few hours into my road trip low tire pressure warning. The FCA system was faulty and did not function as it should be. The wiper blades definitely needs to be replaced! It was rainy on my way back and the wiper blades made it a nightmare leaving smears with almost no visibility. Had to stop driving until the rain stopped.You could do a lot better! The Logan airport/Cambridge folks do a lot better in maintaining their cars.

I made a reservation for a Luxury tier vehicle. They made me wait for an hour even with the reservation, and when I complained about it, they said Its Friday. Anywhere you go you should wait. Furthermore, after waiting for an hour, the vehicle I received was full of cigarette smell and the handle was sticky and disgusting. Since I was in a hurry (due to the 1 hour wait), I decided to just go with the car for the day and switched to another vehicle (they didnt have any other luxury tier vehicles available so I switched to a standard tier vehicle) couple of days later.I was planning to rent a car for 14 days. Since they have a promotion that let you drive for 7 days, but pays for 5 days, I shouldve paid for 10 days in total. However, They cut-off my rental period when I switched to the other vehicle and charged me with 12 days (2 days luxury tier fair and 10 days standard tier fair). When I complained this to Scott the Assistant Manager, he said you have to pay for what you got. And when I told him that this is a fraud, because he was there when I switched to the new vehicle and he didnt mention anything about cutting-off my rental period. He said he didnt want to listen to me anymore and hung up on me.Laster, I received a survey call from Enterprise and complained about my rental experience to them. They connected me to their Regional Manager, and I told him about the situation. He told me that he will fix my statement and give me a callback, but he never did.In conclusion, just dont go here. If you do rent a car from here, double check your statement and contract before you sign anything.
Very disorganized, took a very long time both to pick up and drop off vehicle (long line of people and very few Enterprise staff available to help). My vehicle smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke when I picked it up.
Price wise, not competitive when renting for short or long term. The customer service was good though, that s why the three stars. Check with competitors before finalizing transaction.
This Location is a great place to rent a car, they are fair and offer good quality cars and good rates. Although, I wish even on holiday weekends they would offer the special rate offers as well and during the summer. The agents are out to please you and offer the best service and are very kind.I rent every weekend and cannot find anything to complain about.
Very good experience. I had to rent a car because mine was in the shop. Their office was the closest car rental company to my work, so I gave them a call. I ended up renting a pickup truck for the first day because I had to get a freezer at the store. The next day, I turned the pickup in for a Camry which I had for a week.They were very helpful in the Watertown office. When I returned the car, Harry went over the bill. It was a little higher than I expected, so I mentioned that I saw an online rate of about $230 per week. He went back into the computer and adjusted the bill so that it reflected only the one day pickup truck rental (about $85) plus the one week rate for the Camry.Then, to cap off the experience, he offered to drive me to the mechanic, 2.5 miles away in Allston, so I could get my car from the shop.These guys were professional and reasonable during my 3 phone conversations and my 2 visits to the office. The pickup and the Camry were in good shape. The staff are courteous straight-shooters. And the rates were the same or below 3 or 4 other companies in the area that I checked before reserving with Enterprise.I would definitely go there again.

If you rent from here BEWARE of your charges. I still dont know how the manager here has a job! I rented a car from Waltham Enterprise since it was closer to my job and asked them if I could drop off in Watertown since it was closer to my house. They said I could and that it wouldnt cost me anything extra. When I checked my credit card charges there was an additional $600 charge. When I did some digging and researching, I found out that the manager got mad that I dropped off my car in his lot, lied that I parked it in the street and got towed!! He also charged extra for my drop off! Thank God I caught it and the Enterprise in Waltham care about their customers and appologized for the the actions and lies of the manager here in Watertown and gave me a full refund. DO NOT RENT here! Go to the Enterprise in Waltham!!! They care about their customers!!
The folks who work at this location are amazing. Every time I have been there (5-6 times now) they have gone above and beyond to make sure I have what I need.One time, I needed to get across town after dropping off my vehicle. They evaluated the cost of a cab vs what it would cost to transfer my vehicle to a closer location, unasked.Another, I was running late but they stayed open a bit longer than normal to let me have my vehicle.They are delightful.
I rent from Enterprise exclusively. I was disappointed with my rental vehicle this time in Watertown, MA. The staff was nice. The vehicle was very basic oldest Ive ever been given, the windshield was not clean, the dashboard gauges were permanently defaced making the mph and the temperature, etc obscured, the gas cap fell off in my hand, the car had trash from the previous renter. It was not up to your usual standards.

Was getting car repaired at a local body shop and needed a rental car, the insurance company set up a rental with this Enterprise and they called me and set everything up before I even got there, quick and easy 10/10 would recommend.
Overall wasnt horrible! Watch out though, I was asked to do a walk around of the car the minute it was hosed off making any scratches invisible. I noticed the scratches after the car dried and wasnt charged for this but I have a feeling thats a trick they use to claim damage to unsuspecting customers and then never actually fix the issue. They also apparently didnt train the employee who took care of of my rental as he quoted me one price and they tried to charge me a different price. Other than that, they were very nice and courteous!
Never had any issues, their shuttle always picks me up. The Weekend special is a bargain. Cars are clean, non smoking vehicles, which is highly appreciated.

I have been renting cars from this location for few years now. Never had any issues. There are times when the cars are not clean (interior and exterior) but they give me discount when I mention it. However the CDW charges have gone up to $25 for a compact car. I used to pay $13-15. On the Enterprise website it say that rates depends on the type of cars we rent. (The cost of Damage Waiver varies by location and vehicle type. The daily cost is between $8.99 and $29.99 per day) Manager told me that the rates are set by the main office and they cant change it. Good service and very friendly crew. Keep up the good work!

My wife and I had a friend visiting from China, on the way to the airports someone failed to stop at the red light and caused a crash. I reserve a car at enterprise and when I went to pick it up, I was upset about the car crash, irritated, and somewhat sarcastic, and oh yes.......Im old. I believe the young man who helped me was the manager Tom and he was very professional and very good in spite of my sarcasm. Tom was extremely professional throughout the entire process and I really appreciate that fact, bearing in mind that he did not know the backstory. The sales department and staff at the Arsenal Street enterprise has always been the best.
Horrible customer service by the Watertown, MA branch.Google Review is too nice to have us give them at least 1-star.I have no clue how Scott the Assistant Manager and Martin interact and communicate. They think they are providing good customer service with all the fake smiles and jokes but they dont even take responsibility for their mistakes. The Assistant Manger, Scott, could not even get the license plate number correct and therefore made confusion to all processes and payments. Why do I as a customer have to point out your stupid mistakes? When I called back, Will was able to help out with the confusion that the Assistant Manager made himself.WORST Enterprise experience I had and would definitely not recommend renting from this branch. I should have looked at the Yelp reviews for accuracy of their customer service and not rely on Google reviews.

Having used Enterprise in at many locations, this one has the best staff of all.
Ive been using Watertown, MA Enterprise for five years. At one point I was on a first name basis with the manager, but she got promoted. I dont own a car, so if I ever want to get out of town for the weekend this is who I go to. I have had some problems in the past (one time the window washer was filled with what I can only assume was dawn soap, broken bearing, loud or shaking vehicles) And each time as soon as I called the office or the after hours hotline I was offered a solution, replacement vehicle/ refund or upgrade next time. I know cars come with problems, and they cant test drive every vehicle between customers, so when they go out of their way to make sure I am satisfied, I make sure to come back. And they are always the best rate. Occasionally I take the trip to Newton, because at times they are significantly cheaper.

Having dealt with other Enterprise offices dozens of times in the past, we expected a similarly good experience this time in Watertown NY.The cars were beat, with lots of war wounds and high mileage for a rental. More of a rent a Wreck !When they say non smoking cars they only mean they are not smoking or on fire when you rent them, not that they have not been smoked in.Our car had a bad rear wheel bearing that howled for the whole trip.The staff tried to charge us a higher price at the desk and we had to push to get our agreed pricing.They stated that the insurance we had purchased through Priceline was garbage and to never select that option again.Enterprise Watertown, you can do better.
