After much confusion between the dealership, the sales group we are using, and us; Tyler was able to get us into a vehicle that was just right for us during this transition period of returning stateside. Tyler truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and were taken care of. Will for sure be using them again in the future.

We had problems with the gas cap and couldnt get gas in the car. We took it back 30 minutes before their closing time but they had closed early. Called every number available but couldnt get any live body to talk to. Left the vehicle at the rental place 3 hours after we picked it up and had to cancel our trip. Took keys in first thing next morning and they still charged us a day. DO NOT use these people!!!

My service at the watertown hertz was amazing..Nate was professional yet personable to answer any and all questions concerning my rental....(As was his manager Ashlee).I cant thank them enough for going over and above ...Because of their service l will now only rent from Hertz..Jennifer

Horrible experience. Definitely would not recommend getting a rental through them. Called a month and a half ago for a 12 passenger van. They stated they usually don’t have them at this location but they would make sure they had one for me. On the day of pickup they told me they didn’t have my 12 passenger van, that they only had a 7 passenger van. This completely ruined the plans for a bachelorette weekend. Will never be using them again.

WARNING VERY DISHONEST EMPLOYEES & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! Don’t Give them your credit card number or they’ll just charge whatever they want on it! My advice to anyone is NOT to use this Watertown NY company! if you do make sure you check every bit of the paperwork and contracts and make sure that you document what the gas gauge reads with them before you leave the building. I checked the gas gauge before I left to use the car for one afternoon brought it back exactly where the gas gauge read when I left. Returned it within the allotted time and ended up with an extra charge taken right out of my account. when I called them to ask why they said that I did not replace the gas to a full tank. I know for a fact it was not full when I took it. They charged me for a fill up. I got no help when I called. Their customer service was terrible and they treated me like I was dishonest. They would not admit any wrong doing and basically have stolen from me and refilled the gas tank on my dime! When I asked them to check the odometer to prove I didn’t use all that gas, They said all their paperwork stated that the tank was full when I took it.I will never use this rental company again.

They charged me over $50 in toll charges! And apparently their going to keep charging me. Cause I’m NY they have no toll booth you go right through. Be careful cause they are charging you a service Fee and a convenient fee. I also went there and the lady told me I can bring the car back half full. Came back with it half full and she denied saying that. Wow! the car was 75% full when I got it and when I Brought it back it was 50% full and they tried to charge me for the entire tank! Not the 25% that it was missing! They will literally try anything they can to charge your card over and over! I never ever had a problem renting from them in the past 4 years but this place here is TERRIBLE! Once they have your bank card information they will charge it over and over again! Go rent at enterprise this place ain’t worth it.

If I could give them no stars I would. They took out over $1000 out of our account for a one day rental and cannot give us any information about why. They could not get us a manager to speak to, told me that they would probably call me back after 24 hours. Customer service kept transferring me to different departments that told me they dont know why they sent me to them. They need to train their customer service better, its ridiculous how bad they are. I cannot warn people fast enough to never rent from this company, they just dont care.

Never will do business through them again worst customer service j have ever experienced in my life. Next time my car is in the shop Ill walk before I rent another car from here. They just took out over 300 out of my bank account with no warning. I paid for the rental car back in September and have not had it since then.

Was given false info about not being able to drop my car off on saturday saying I was not allowed to because they were closed for covid and had to return monday. Then they proceeded to keep charging me. Very rude office girls as well. Freckles doesnt smile

NEVER EVER give this place your bank number. EVER! They will charge you and say it was auto generated. Heres my story. I was in a small car incident. The womans insurance paid for everything, EVEN THE RENTAL. Or so I thought. I got home from dropping my car off at the shop, and what do you know - there was a $95 charge to my bank. I called and was told it was a security deposit and insurance, both of which were NOT discussed to me when I got the rental, and neither of the charges were authorized. That was in mid-December 2017. Today, Jan 24, 2018, there is a $155 charge to my bank. When I called in, I was told that it was auto-generated and the manager didnt know why. She guessed it was because my account was still pending. Huh? Exactly. So now I have to dispute this transaction with my bank, call the insurance company for reimbursement because Hertz is a company that likes to steal money. Im also going to get a new bank card because knowing how shady this company is, Ill probably get charged again next month.

Modern day robbery. Staff is supposed to offer additional rental services such as insurance not just add it on without explaining what the services are. A call later and the employee Ashley claims she explained and offered the services.

Was NOT the vehicle I thought I reserved online so I payed extra for a car when I had wanted a midsize SUV. When I went to return the vehicle the office was closed. It was Saturday and I did not know they would close at 1. Then they were closed on Sunday. Car returned Monday and I was reassured not a problem She then told me there was a drop box I could have put my key in. No one explained that to me when I rented the car or I would have done that. Today I see I was charged for the two extra days. I am so disgusted right now I cant even put it into words. I would like a refund for Saturday and Sunday

I went in today to check if there were any cars available. From the moment I went in, I was not greeted, I was just rudely asked if I was there to rent a car. They told me they had no cars available because of the holidays, and they refused to help any further with looking for cars in other Herts locations. They told us they were having a few cars turned in that day, and they could call us back later, and they mentioned specifically one that was being tuned in at 12:30. It just seemed like they wanted us out, and they didn’t want to work with us. We called an Uber and as we were waiting, the 12:30 car was turned in. We asked about it and they told us No and we don’t really know why, but 5 minutes later a lady comes in and asks if they had any cars available, and stated that she didn’t care what car it was, she just needed wheels to get around on. They immediately gave her the 12:30 car that was just returned. We left very upset and we felt very discriminated against, either for being young (we are both 21+), or speaking Spanish. Their customer service is awful and they should defiantly do something about those rude employees.

Lady said I smoked in vehicle which I’m not a smoker said there were ashes when there wasn’t and took a cleaning fee of $147 for smoking in the vehicle I’ll never use them again
