We purchased a beautiful Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer which is 100 times an improvement on the LG that we have. The sales staff answer your questions and the gentlemen who came to deliver our new refrigerator and broken fridge were phenomenal. Very efficient, organized and completed their delivery in a very short period of time. I would highly recommend this company for refrigerators/freezers, washers and dryet, stoves and much more. We thank them all for their excellent care and are a great company with excellent prices.
We had purchased the machine from a different appliance store in town, but they were unable to service the machine on Fort Drum.We were referred to NLT for a service. When we consulted over the phone with them they said they would send someone out to come look at the machine. We did not agree to any service charges over the phone, because NLT just assumed warranty would cover whatever problem it might be.Upon arrival of the service they determined it was not a problem with our washer, but was a problem with our houses hookup. Again, we were not informed of any service charges that could possibly be our responsibility to pay for, they stated 100% that everything would be covered by warranty.A few weeks later we received a bill for an $80 service +$6.40 in taxes just for them to come look at the machine. They explained that warranty didn’t cover the services so it was now our responsibility. Here’s my problem— we as the customers were NEVER informed of any prices that could possibly be our responsibility. As a business you should be transparent about prices regardless of whether you think they’ll be covered by warranty. We were never told it was going to be an $86 claim that would be submitted to warranty. When we brought our problem up with NLT we were simply told that we should have known #1 that our warranty wouldn’t cover an issue with the houses hookup. And #2 there was nothing they could do to help us.If someone is hiring a repairman they obviously don’t know what the problem with the machine is. NLT should be transparent with their customers and disclose the charges that could be their customers responsibility up front. We never agreed to pay $86 for a repair man to come out, but we’re stuck with a bill for $86.I completely understand that services have to be paid for, but to not inform your customers of any costs and to make it seem that warranty will 100% cover everything (when in fact they don’t always) is a shady business model, and isn’t fair to the customers hiring them for service. If it’s at all possible for you, take your service elsewhere.
Great people, great appliances, great and fair prices. Awesome oldie appliances as well. Just an all around great place. We bought a brand new dryer from, NTL for a very fair price that a retail store couldnt sell because of dents and scratches but really, we have 3 kids, 2 dogs and we are avid outdoorsman. Its going to end up like that anyway. So what does it really matter about the looks, it just needs to do Its job, and believe me, it does. If we need anything else, WE WILL BE COMING BACK TO NTL, 100%.
Recently had a recall on my washer. Carrie was professional and courteous. Repair to washer done efficiently. No wait time getting this done. Definitely will call NTL if any further repairs are needed. Thank you.
Dave order the wrong part for my Refrigerator had to wait another wk paid $ 129 .00 plus tax and only got half of the water filter the bottom of filter was missing will never recommend or go back to this rip off service center NT L thumbs down
Honestly terrible, waste of money, waste of time, 81$ for someone to come over and just tell me that im using the wrong detergent then left and didnt do literally anything upon my issue with the washer
Had a washer repair done here. They warranty there work. Good honest warranty too. Excellent place! Staff is friendly too.
As far as replacement parts, they leave a lot to be desired, but if your are looking for old appliances or a conversation piece, they have a lot to chose from.
NTL came out to fix my washer. Very quick and professional. It’s now back working perfectly again. Thank you!
Waited over two weeks for someone to come out. Paid over 80 dollars for someone to look at it. Just look at it. We need an alternative service company to contact. A refrigerator holds hundreds of dollars of food. Two weeks is an unacceptable amount of time to have to wait and 80 dollars is too expensive for someone to just look at something. If you are waiting to open a business in this specialty.... here is your wakeup call!
Very knowledgable owner who was able to source my part quickly from out of state. They will be my go to appliance repair store from no on.
Im willing to pay a little more to shop local, but not triple the price. He wanted $65 for a generic-fit gas oven igniter. I got a original equipment one for $20 off Amazon. I explained I saw them on Amazon for 20, he didnt care much. I was willing to pay 40 just so I didnt have to wait over weekend. He said he pays over 50 from his supplier. Sounds like he needs a new supplier.
They were very helpful and informative in my self repair job.
I wish I could give less than one star . Whirlpool hired them to fix my brand new dishwasher . Third time out for the same issue . I ran my dishwasher that I was told was fixed and my whole kitchen flooded ! When I called NTL I was told oh sorry its Friday call us back Monday and we can send someone . Oh thanks I guess Ill just deal with this flooded kitchen then . Obviously I now have zero faith in this company who left my dishwasher obviously broken or not hooked up properly to produce so much water in my kitchen . The water coming from the unit its self and no where else . Under my sink was completely dry . 100% NTLS fault that my kitchen flooded but Whirlpool has some blame in all of this as well .
I live in Arizona and have rentals in Watertown N Y. When I need appliances I always call these guys. The thing I like the most is your always talking to the same person or salesperson and you dont have to go through different personal Everytime you call. When your 2500 miles away you have to depend on the people you call to do the job and Im extremely satisfied with NTL The other thing is their very competitive for a smaller dealer and I find their prices just as good usually as Lowes, or the Depot, etc
Friendly and helpful
Nice local repair shop that will help get your appliance fixed
Has real great prices & deals
From sales to delivery++ perfect!!!Everyone was friendly and professional!!!
I tried calling 4 different times during their posted operating times and not once did they answer. No answering service no nothing. Quite unprofessional and seems to me they cant be bothered to provide any customer service. I wont consider hiring them in the future and you shouldnt either.
Ive been waiting for a compressor for my one-year-old LG refrigerator to arrive since the 7/5 service call. Every day I call NTL and they dont know where the part is. Is there really no way to track it? It was supposed to be fixed within a week. I call, they dont know where the part is and will check but never call back. Three weeks and counting. I cant take much more of this.
I really find it annoying when you pay a repairman to fix something in your home and he asks for help or tools or supplies and then leaves a mess for your to deal with. Heres our story. Our washer stopped draining. Now, were a large family. Rather than order the part for us immediately, the repair guy just did an estimate. We had to call them back and confirm that yes, we wanted our washer repaired and we had to specify that they order the part. This took another week or so, and the laundry piled up. Kind of brain dead if you ask me. When the repairman returned the following week, he asked to borrow some towels. But of course we didnt have any towels - they were all at the laundromat getting washed! He drained about 2 gallons of water and left it on the floor soaking into rugs, shoes, tile. Didnt bother to warn us. You might think that a professional appliance repairman might have a wet dry vac for these kinds of jobs. Just lazy customer service all around. To their credit the parts/labor were reasonable at $211.84, and the repair worked.
They did a great job on my drier AND awesome service
Good people.
Fast and extremely affordable, they fixed my projection TV which I thought was a lost cause - very satisfied customer turner referal service - Thank you again!
Repair guy was horrible, wouldnt do anything on our refrigerator!
Little expensive
They fix appliances and sell them.
Quick service
Up to this point its been great but today its really frustrating to repeatedly call and no one answers when their website clearly says their business hours begin at 9 on Saturdays.....
Dont bother.
