These folks at corner of Wasilla Fishook and parks highway been taking care of us for decades. Every year theres a personal touch you never expected by time taxes are done and walking out. Such a wonderful group of folks at that particular branch. Ive been to many others and theres no way you can even compare the level of care commitment and family friendliness. Cant beat it. I dropped off my paperwork this year instead of making an appointment to sit down to have my taxes done. there were mistakes made that i caught when i went in to sign my paperwork. I would prefer to make an appointment and sit with the preparer next time.

Nan Rucker has been my tax consultant for years. She is very professional and gives great advise. She is quick on responding to my emails/phone calls. I trust her with my taxes.

I am still waiting for my 2019 tax return that I filed in person at H&R Block in Wasilla Alaska in February of 2020.

My wife and I have had Kerry Wright take care of are taxes for the last 4 years, and he is so informative and very passionate about what he does and who he serves. Our H&R Block consultant, Kay Peterson! She’s been helping our little family for years. She is intuitive, caring, and a very adept in her career.

I have peace of mind that my taxes are done right. Never have to worry that I will get audited by the IRS. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Go somewhere else. I got a call from H&R Block back in January to come in and file for 2017 - which I was told would be a free service. I have done my taxes with H&R Block for the last 3 years so I thought, well thats nice of them. I scheduled back in January and met with a local agent that same month who got all my information from my business entered into the computer - which took about an hour. She recommended I go home and try to find a few more receipts (which were really inconsequential deductions anyway), and she said she would save my info so we could pick up where we left off. Jump ahead to today when I went back in (to what I thought would just be a final sign-off on the paperwork), NONE of my info was saved from the previous meeting, so all that time was wasted. Then, to top it off, I was charged $350 for the service - which was no more complicated than the EZ form from previous years. I was not told that the price increases so dramatically for a small business filing until it was all done. Seriously, it wasnt brought to my attention AT ALL. I cant even tell you how sick and disappointed I am at the deceitful tactic used by this company to get people in with fake incentives and then take advantage of them. I will not come back to H&R Block. Ever. And I will tell everyone I know what they did. If youre going to charge a drastically higher rate, at least have the decency to give someone some warning. And I honestly dont feel that the service I received today was worth more than the $80 I usually pay for my filing. There was no more work involved on the accountants end than with the EZ form. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. You lost a customer.

I want to give negative stars. I have been told I will not get my W2 from an employer that has passed away because they are owed money. Completely against the law and it will be reported if I do not receive my form on time.

The Wasilla Alaska branch is the best place to go!! Nan and Trish are an amazing team!! They are genuinely kind, fun and helpfull women!!!! I have been using H&R Block for 25 years and they are the reason!!!

I was pre approved in nov when I was denied for the emerald advance but still was denied for the advance why are you approved one year and the the next even when Im getting a very large amount t back

So i have used h and r block for years my mother even worked thru them before. My tax professional was nice.my complaint is that when i didnt recieve funds by the 21 day mark i called and they told me there was nothing they can do about it then told me the only way i can get info is to go to irs.gov. i now have called to see what my options are for my previous employer hasnt turned in our w2s. Then the lady said that there is no way i would know that. I just wanted to get help. Irs has told me that im under review till further notice. So what do i do now? I complain til i get results!!!!!!!

Quick and easy

Brought in all my stuff, the tax lady didn’t say a word to me, then at the end tells me it will be $500 and gives me a refund amount that is lower than any other year I’ve ever filed while having more dependents, and write offs.... I tell her I’d like to think about it and come back...and when I come back she deleted all my files, and they told me I’d have to start over from the beginning cause they have no records of mine. Save yourself the headache and just do it yourself on Turbotax
