This is a fantastic small business with kind staff and quick, high quality work! I’ve been getting my nails done here for over two years now and have had a great experience every single time. Their pedicures are incredibly precise and last for weeks. Additionally, they have great dip powder manicures that I swear by. I get TONS of compliments! Most importantly, their owner and staff are incredibly hard working. They care about their customers and are friendly, especially to repeat customers. I was so impressed when they remembered me after being closed for months due to the pandemic. Not to mention, the owner was running the place all by herself until she had the funds to rehire her staff. I highly recommend Tip Toes if you’re in the Foggy Bottom area and looking for a quick, high quality mani or pedi.

I cant wait for TipToes to re-open. I had my nails done (dipping) right before salons had to shut down and although Ive had to cut them back repeatedly, my polish IS STILL ON MY NAILS 8 weeks later!!! My pinky nails lost their color a week ago, but the rest of them have lasted through all of the clipping back with a pair of cuticle scissors, all the filing, etc. Now thats a professional job!

Received a $30 gift certificate for a classic pedicure as a gift. I’ve never been to this location before, and did not realize that the gift certificate had an expiration date. I went into the salon and asked if they would honor the gift certificate, and I was met with a flat out NO. Truly, this is the first time I’ve ever experienced such poor customer service and am extremely disappointed.

I called first and was given courtesy on the phone of my service I wanted and pay, plus offered a student discount and this helps. I was happy.

Take it for what it is, the place caters to college students and women on their lunch breaks so service in general is rushed even at off-peak times.What is inexcusable is the staffs rudeness and lack of customer service. Depending on when you go you may have to deal with overly talkative customers who forget that even rushed nail service is best enjoyed in peace.Long story short, if youre not months overdue on a pedi, or if that cracked nail isnt painful, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

They charged me 10 dollars to fix one nail color.... a gel full set color change is 20! Makes no sense and I was forced to pay. And the color wasn’t even the same
