The nail technician cut my finger really deep. They offered no discount, bandage, or anything. When leaving the technician mumbled next time you leave a tip. Of course Im not going to leave a tip! Enjoy the tip of my finger that you cut off!! Will NEVER return!!! Patrons beware!!
They do nails pretty good
This was my second time there. I got there 5 minutes late and they were expecting me. However, they did not seem happy to provide service. The pedicure person tried to fill up a dirty bowl, when I said something they put plastic in it. The water was Luke warm (at this point I considered leaving)... They never asked about temperatureThey rarely addressed me just talked to each other poking and yanking my hands and feet to communicate when I needed to do something...I stayed because they were working fast and I thought they provided good quality (although I knew I’d never come back). But I’m posting this because two days later my gel is chipping off the acrylic. I had such an unpleasant experience, I don’t even want them to fix it. Not sure if it’s because I’m a black women with locs (no way to be sure), but it felt personal (as they were friendly to others when I went the first time).G
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere
The Service Was Great & Staff Very Polite
Great service
I looked for a good nail salon in DC that was reasonably priced for a long time before this placed open right next to my apartment! The owner knows me by name and she is super nice and accommodating. I have always received amazing manicures which are around $30 for gel (excluding tip) from all employees and they can get you in right away which I appreciate. The gels have lasted between 2-4 weeks for me. Highly recommmend.
Clean, neat and fast service! The owner is great!! Great customer service. I absolutely love this place!!!
I decided to try out this nail salon and I had a horrible experience. My nail tech... I think her name was Amy did a terrible job on my nails. Then overcharged me for my nails. I will never go back here again!!! It was a waste of time and money
After I pointed out numerous times that I did not like the shape of my nails. The nail tech fixed it begrudginglyI. In frustration I went home to see my nails had many imperfections.More importantly their Covid precautions were not as strict as I feel they should’ve been.
I came in to get a mani n gel pedi, but didnt know exactly how I wanted my nails. Amy did a great job making them extra special for my weekend plans!
Had a good experience, but my technician kept stopping to talk to the other technicians that was in there. Price was slightly high than what i would normally pay, but outside of that, it was a decent experience. Keeping the front door open is not really good especially right now since its the summer season and mosquitos was definitely flying in along with flies
Very nice. Not busy. Very clean.
Convenient but, slow. It was the holiday and I had an emergency. Dont think I will go again though. This one guy got mad at a client and just walked out.
Navy Nails is by far the best salon that I’ve been to in DC! All of the nail techs are wonderful and do a great job. I personally love to get the SNS powder and my nails are always perfection. Their spa pedicures are fabulous as well. They take a while, but are well worth it. They also have set prices whether or not you pay with cash or card. This is a huge plus because a lot of DC salons now charge more if you pay with a card. You can also tip on your card as well. This is a huge plus for me because I never have cash. Overall, Navy Nails is a great salon that I would recommend to anyone in the DMV area.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Love the staff. Love the atmosphere. Love that they’re open until 8 on weekdays!
TWO STARS: Incredibly slow, tech not good at Dip Mani, and lots of mosquitos and flies inside because door was open to attract customers. Pedi was nice.Pedi: the pedi was nice, and I have no complaints. I got bit by a few mosquitoes during the pedi.Dip Mani : The tech didn’t know what she was doing. I left with some lumpy nails with terrible shaping. It took her a LONG TIME to dip, and she dipped my nails way too many times in the powder. I chose not to bring it up bc TIME and QUALITY. I paid, decided not to return, and just went to my go-to shop.I work nearby and thought this could help me get some things done on my lunch break; I will consider returning for a pedi if I’m in an absolute pinch, but def not for Dip.
I WENT FOR MANI AND PEDICURE AND KAYLA DID A GREAT JOB AND I WILL BE GOING BACK TO GET A GEL PEDICURE AND SNS POWDER FOR MY NAIL. I WENT ON 8/10/18 AND PEDICURE IS STILL LOOKING GREAT .
Jenny consistently keeps my nails (mani/pedi) on point!
I made the mistake of going here for a pedicure the night before I left on a week long vacation to Mexico. The gentleman who did my pedicure was very distracted watching TV the whole time while multi-tasking my pedicure. When it came time for the cuticle clippers, I felt a tug and a pinch of pain. Little did I know, he tore my skin and I awoke in Mexico a day and a half later to find a severe infection. It was very painful and I went on antibiotics. Definitely not worth the $70 and ended up costing me $150 after medical bills and medicine.
NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP! They take way to long and they’re nails are bulky and look cheap. They messed up my gel manicure twice and overchargerd.
Very professional staff and nice atmosphere.
Clean & professional service
Too pricey and pushy. Poor service and bad pedicure. Left me in pain for days. Cut toenails wrong to the point of bleeding and just polished over it. DONT GO THERE!!!
Good service .... Amy is the best.
Best nail place in Navy Yard hands down.
Dont do it! Go somewhere else!
Go there it is the best
This is how they broke
Good service!
Not entirely happy with the service this go around...
Poor manicure and pedicure. I had to keep pointing out to cut the cuticles and extra skin around my nails. Price very high for what you really get.
Excellent service
