I love coming here! They follow all CDC guidelines, so it is super clean and safe with cleaning, social distancing, and required masks. They have a very relaxing spa-type feeling with complimentary drinks, so sit back and relax and enjoy! Their prices are reasonable & they offer cash discount plus guarantee their gel manicures. Go!
My go to in the Adam’s Morgan area. The team is warm and welcoming, provide a very clean area and are super attentive. They are very receptive when I want something in particular. They also guarantee two weeks gel durability. And it’s pet friendly!!!!
My go to nail salon in the AdMo area. Kim is THE BEST at Enchanted and in the area. She’s wonderful, detailed and helped me mend my nails back to health.
My local place for pedicure and leg massage. Owner and staff are wonderful. What happened to the little dog? Highly recommend
Very good service, the people who work there are patient and generous they a good job and are always looking out for you, definitely worth 5 stars
I came to this location on Sunday afternoon. I had a great experience with Mr. Tyson. They don’t offer too many design options but my French tips did come out beautifully with sms powder. The only PROBLEM I had with this salon was with a Turkish lady. My little sister came along with me and this Turkish lady was doing her manicure with added tips. The tips were completely wrong sizes. My sister very nicely told her that they didn’t fit and they lady stormed off in the middle of the service saying she doesn’t need anyone telling her how to do her job. She also was the specialist that did my sisters pedicure and she left the bottom of my sisters foot with many scratches with how rough she was scrubbing. This woman obviously had something against my sister. Then, a chubby Latina worker there got upset because my sister was sitting in a chair she sanitized for her client... is it so hard to sanitize another chair and keep it moving? Also the other worker was the one that told my sister to sit on that chair. The chubby woman btw said it very aggressively. The men in this location were all great, it’s the women in this location that seem very mean and give poor service.
The staff was friendly and they have good prices with discounts if you pay with cash. I got a dip manicure for $40, my nails stayed perfect for two weeks which is pretty good because I work as a server so my hands take a beating. Only one nail was messed up after two weeks. I havent tried their other services yet but my friend got a mani pedi and was happy with it.
Terrible work.I ordered french. The white lines are not straight nor at the same level. The nails are not well covered with polish, but my fingers are. If you see them close, you can see every layer of coat wrongly placed. I kindly asked the girl to fix them, but she end up doing them worst. 12 hours later, the polish is already falling. My friend ordered regular manicure. Hers was awful too and started falling an hour later. We are not coming back.
I am floored. Just got the pedicure I desperately needed and cannot believe how professional, clean and amazing enchanted was. The best pedicure I’ve ever had would be an understatement. My chair, including all surfaces and spaces were fully wiped down before arriving, dividers up between me and the nail tech and more than 6ft from anyone else. Ann was an absolute gem, she gave me the BEST massage and pedicure of all time. So attentive, checking in to make sure all was well. I can not recommend this place enough, especially in a time like this. I felt safer her than I do most places.
Thank you for the short notice appointment. Excellent service.
I got an SNS manicure at Enchanted on February 13th and was very pleased with the salon ambience, the quality of service provided, and the price. However, I am sad to say I cannot return. When my manicure was done, they gave me a card that guaranteed the SNS treatment would last at least two weeks. Its a week and a half later and the nails have all fallen off -- I have been getting SNS for years and have never had a set last me such a short time. Would happily return here if I knew I could rely on the product, but I cant.
Favourite nail salon in adams morgan. Meticulously following covid guidelines.
Just haphazard. Off putting.
Overpriced for average service. My nail tech was constantly texting during my service. Would not recommend.
My favorite salon to go to for both eyebrow waxing and pedicures (the only services I usually get in general). These guys provide 100% high quality service in a nice, professional and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
The staff were really friendly and their prices are reasonable however, the lady who did both my manicure and pedicure cut me a total of 4 times. Once on a toe and the others on different fingers. When she asked if I wanted square or round shapes nails, I said square with rounded edges, and all my nails came out to different versions of square and round and were uneven. Im pretty specific about how I want my nails to look and feel like I should have been more direct about everything to make sure it all for done correctly but, I should be able to trust my manicurist to so a clean job...
I adore this salon! This is my 3rd service since the quarantine and they are amazing, they are clean and following all of the precautions to keep staff and clients safe.
Tree is the best nail technician I have found. He approaches it like an art form and is very detailed. I have loved this place for a long time! Thank you all-including Essie 🐾!
I used to really like this place but recently had staff who didn’t do a very good job, including cuts during the pedicure that took about a week to heal. My favorite staff person left, and I just have not been happy with my recent experiences. A lot depends on who you end up with.
I am a long-time client of Vis but she wasnt there when I got there, but her stand and did an excellent job. I would not mind having her stand-in for Vi any day for me.Im sorry I didnt get your name but, thank you for doing such a great job. You made me look good for my trip to North Carolina in my wife love my manicure and pedicure.cảm ơn bạn .I hope that is correct I do not want to offend if not I apologize.
After trying several nail salons in the area, Ive found my new go-to place. Enchanted Nails is such a bright, clean, friendly place and they do amazing work. Ive never had a bad experience here and love that they guarantee their gel manicures for two weeks. Another huge plus is how late they are open because my friends and I will sometimes go over for a pedicure after meeting up for dinner.
Been going here for a year almost two and honestly can tell you in my personal experience that this is the best nail salon. There is a variety of nail polish, as soon as you walk through the door they ask you what you need, and they are very good at there job. If you dont like something they would re do it without any hesitate or charge. Also they are very clean for each pedicure they do they put a plastic to cover the tub and after the are done they re clean the tub and use a brand new plastic. P.S they take there time to do there job and it can be as full as it wants and they wont rush. Pricing is reasonable!!!!!!!
Awesome service. I’ve become a loyal regular. The location is also prime for dinner after nails with friends!
I recently went with my boyfriend to get pedicures, Im white and hes black. I noticed a significant difference in the way we were treated. The employee working with me was very friendly and offered me a water/tea, and the employee working with my boyfriend basically didnt talk to him and didnt offer him anything. Then when that employee moved on to work with the next (white) customer, the employee was very friendly and talkative. Needless to say we wont be going back.
I enjoyed my visit to this nail salon. I was in town for a visit and had to get my nails done after flying in. I found this place online and called ahead. I was greeted at the door and given the choice of wine or champagne. I chose the wine. I was immediately serviced. The technician was friendly and professional. He did a beautiful job on my nails. I was very pleased. I will return when I am back in D.C.
Id like to thank those of you, esp the white folks, who took the time to write reviews about how you observed a difference in service--based on racism. This was my experience. I complained. I was told that Im the ONLY person to ever have that complaint. Now here I am reading several different reveiws with the same observation. The nail job was sometimes great, but sometimes ok, though I know that theres potential for excellent service.
My favorite place in DC to get a gel mani & pedicure. My current manicure has lasted for three weeks. Very nice staff who make you feel at home and comfortable. Never in a rush to pick a color. Love the M-W cash discount! Their newly renovated space looks great.Bonus: champagne and cute lap dogs!
I didn’t feel welcomed, and they treated me like an object to move around when I was asking them if they did a certain type of nail art. They didn’t explain much to me and made me wait without telling me what was happening. I was so confused and they were rude at me and and laughed.
Each time I have gone the service has been excellent, the equipment is clean, it is well ventilated, and everyone is nice and professional. They offer you something to drink and have cookies as a snack. It is my favorite nail salon in D.C.
I got the sns nail color done on 7/13. My nails started to fall off on 7/23. By the time they would take me in to fix this problem (2 days later) four nails had fallen off, with four more about to fall off. I requested a full new manicure because none of my nails would have lasted the 2 weeks that is guaranteed. I was told I would only be able to get the ones that fell off fixed. Then they said they would fix them all, but I would need to have the same color. This is absolutely ridiculous because I needed a full manicure due to the fact that they were all falling off. This is poor customer service, especially because they provided me with a 2 week warranty. I do not see myself going back. This was a complete waste of money.
I walked in to get a gel manicure I picked a green color and a glitter the lady who did my nails was lovely and another woman helped. But the paint job is terrible. The green needed a white base under it and after five coats of green I can still see the white. On my left thumb I have a giant lump of paint. When I realized an hour later that the lump was there and my left hand did not have an opaque color painted on it I went back to see if my manicure could have been discounted and removed I was told they would remove it but I wouldn’t receive any money back. I’ve been to many nail salons and I’ve never been treated with such disregard. I feel silly for wasting 30 something dollars.
Love this place. Tranquil, upbeat setting, feels very warm and welcoming. Vivian is my absolute go to; Her work is beautiful and durable like no other gel mani I’ve ever had. I used to work as a house painter, and her manis would flawlessly survive whatever tasks work threw at me. Absolutely recommend.
I primarily love enchanted for its location and waxing.ProsGood nail color selection for both gel and regular.Clean facilitiesWaxing services are excellent. They take their time and have a gel guarantee.ConsThey arent as quick as other salons. Mani/pedi is about an 1.5 -1.75 hours.
Great service, can get walk in appointments, comfy chairs, choice of drinks...
This place is not great. They couldnt even do a manicure properly, and anytime i get acrylics, theychip and break 1 to 2 days after. They have a VERY limited selection of polishes, mostly reds and pinks. Anything else and theyll tell you its too expensive for you (but only if youre black). Also if youre black, they make you pay mid-job. But if youre white they are super nice, very accommodating and will even offer you a free mimosa. There is literally only one kind person who works there, an older lady who is so kind and efficient. Unless youre waiting for her, spend your money elsewhere.
I came here at the recommendation of a couple friends. Ultimately I was disappointed. I had the dip/SNS nails done and ultimately the shape of the nail was a bit awkward and there were black flecks in the color. Further - I got my eyebrows waxed and the end result was terrible - I had her fix it to the extent possible but it was still pretty bad. I definitely won’t be comping back here. The service itself was good but unless you know a particular nail person who is good - I would not recommend to anyone else.
I come here all the time and it is usually fantastic! I get gel and it usually lasts well beyond 2 weeks - they also let you come back if it chips.
Professional, clean and meticulous.I have been going to this nail spa for close to 4 years. It was a much needed change from the over crowded, fish-market like experience of mimosa. Most importantly, the place is clean.
I really liked their customer service and the quality of their gel manicure. They give you a receipt and you can come back within 2 weeks if anything happens to your gel color. I thought the pedicure was good.
Update: I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I ended up going in the next day just out of convenience. I only needed 2 nails fixed and what shouldve been a 20 minute trip took 1 and a half hours. The lady was clearly new to acrylics and didnt know how to use the drill, then she drilled my natural nail down so thin she almost hit skin. She filed the plastic bases so far down that the new nails were less than half the length of the others, and instead of just taking them off and replacing them she tried to lengthen them by adding layer upon layer of acrylic, and when I tried to ask for another technician she told me not to tell her how to do her job. Finally after 90 minutes they were acceptable enough to call nails (still too thick and misshapen). I just paid and left. Never going back.I go here all the time and normally get good service, but today I went in and was treated pretty rudely. I had gone to a different salon and two of my acrylics had fallen off, so I figured Id go to enchanted to get them fixed. They told me itd be atleast a 45 minute wait, and I said that I could wait, but asked if they had a color similar to the one I needed to replace, and they interrupted me saying Id need to wait 45 minutes. I was like i know, thats fine, but do you have this color, to which the guy at the desk barely looked and said no. i asked to look at the colors and i found the exact color on their swatches. So i said oh i found it, you said 45 min, so Ill be back in an hour, and they told me to come back in 3. I ended up not going back because I just didnt want to deal with their attitude. I get that it was busy but dont lie to me about time and polishes or speak over me when Im asking a simple question. Just say, we cant fit you in until 6, Im not sure if we have that color but take a look at our swatches. Not that difficult.
I love their hours! They have ALL the colors you can think of to choose from and theyre super nice.
Good service and always make room for you - no appointment necessary. Also serve drinks during your service.
This has been my favorite place for 11 years and 2 years ago they gave me horrible service. I went today for a pedicure to try them again and it was horrible service. Also, they changed their policy and dont accept Discover card anymore. Was very dramatic and aggressive. I would hope they come up with a sign and also have a better solution than yell at their customer. Washington, D.C. has many options for nail salons, please try to respect and service your customer. Oh, not to forget my entire pedicure got ruined. Im sure they wouldnt resolve that either, so I redid them myself. Looking for a nail salon on 18th st in Adam Morgan, next to the McDonalds there is another salon. They are dope!
The nail techs are always attentive and patient. Great customer service. The complimentary mimosas help too!
I love this place! Ive lived here for years now and have always been just somewhat pleased with the crazy overpriced mani-pedia in the city. Enchanted nails is so much better because they are reasonable and really good! I have seen many different people there and I have always been placed.Plus I love the location.
Friendly, clean, affordable, pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of stations, I can always walk right in. They offer you something to drink, and feature a cash discount.
After being a loyal customer for nearly a year, I was recently refused service. The technician I used to go to, Paris, is no longer working there, so another technician Tyson informed me that going forward no one [in the salon] will do my nails. I was given no explanation. I have never been rude, have been prompt or early for my appts. (except one), and I always tip graciously. In fact, I once left the salon to go get my technician that day (Mimi) coffee as a sweet gesture because she mentioned she was in desperate need for coffee. Clearly, my business was never valued. I have seen them treat other African-American customers poorly and have read similar complaints on the BBB website. I will be reporting them to the DC Consumer & Regulatory Affairs and the BBB. I will also be contacting the Washington Post and local news outlets. This type of racist conduct should not be tolerated.
Tyson does an amazing job. Overall a solid nail spot. Will be coming back whenever im in the DC area
I was in town visiting and decided to stop in for a mani pedi....AMAZING. great price, great atmosphere, great customer service and great results. I couldnt be happier.
The only reason Im writing a bad review is because my friends health was jeopardized by this place. I can excuse an ugly nail job, but not when you injure someone. The technician nicked her fingers with the drill over 7 times. Each time caused her to bleed. The technician poured some sort of blue liquid on it and caused the open wounds to turn green and stop bleeding. Her fingers remained sore for days. I told her this can be normal, because my fingers usually ache after getting acrylics too. However on the fifth day when her fingers still hurt she pinched one of them and puss came out of the sore. She is very scared of getting gang green. Please dont come here!!
Realistic price with exceptional color selection. Fantastic!!
Had a matching mani pedi but the regular and gel colors did not match. Then the gel on my nails completely crackled within a couple of days.
I was impressed. I have heard good, and bad reviews. I decided to try it after some better reviews. When I walked in they were very busy. It was a friendly, and surprisingly relaxing, considering the amount of people there.I only wanted one service, and they offer a price difference if you use cash, instead of credit cards. They offer different drinks, and a small, cute waiting area with a lovely fish tank. The manicurist, Cindy, took me to a station to begin my nail extensions. She was very nice, and listened to my concerns about my fragile nails. I have to say, of the places I have been to in the Adams Morgan, and Dupont area for nail extensions, she did very well. I can be picky about his as I have done manicuring work on the past. I will be seeing Cindy again.Their are many people there. So, dont let one persons poor work deter you from trying the other people there. We all have that person, persons, who know how to tailor to our needs. Why 4, and not 5 stars? I was asked a few times to get polish, and the gel polish would have been an extra $20, on top of the $60 for the extensions. May not seem like a big deal, however, I am not a fan of product pushing. However, I look forward to returning to Cindy, and continue my future reviews
Nails nicely done....very satisfied customer 🤗
I had the BEST pedicure and foot massage ever by TYSON
I just left this nail salon and I am very disappointed. First of all it is not a spa like it states in their name. The place is too expensive and unsanitary. My friends and I came there with our 3 daughters and they were playing with their dolls. One of the technicians were really nasty with the children and did not consult with their adult parents that were there. They allowed 2 dogs in there and had no issue. It was not like it was an upscale place that did not allow children. It is a hole in the wall. The only reason they are in business is because they are in Adams Morgan. If I could give 0 stars I would but that is not an option.
Overpriced, although satisfied with their service styling nails and refilling. Felt insulted as a customer when I asked Linda how much a refill with gel color would be she goes sarcastically $65 is that ok as If I couldnt afford it.They are supposed to be the best and even give you guarranty of 2 weeks but my nails are already chipping away. Will never go back there.
Friendly customer service, high quality work, free champagne, and great prices. Love Enchanted.
Was needing a fill and a sales associate in Zara recommended this salon, not going to lie, when I found out they were charging $45 for a fill (this does not include polish so add $10 if you want them painted) I almost walked out but I really wanted them done so I was like, it will either be worth it or I will hate myself afterwards lol needless to say I LOVED MY NAILS she made my previous set look like a completely different set, the time and precision that they use when applying their nails is a sight to see. I am sure their price has to do with them begin located in a mall that caters to tourist but I am not complaining. I left a happy customer but this is the first and only fill I will ever pay $45 for.
I have been here many times for mani/pedi regular and gel. I have never once had a bad experience. They take their time with the cuticles and listen to you if you only want them pushed back. This is the only place Ive gone where the gel actually lasts two weeks because the technicians do it right. Great gel color selection as well
Been going here for a for over 7 years and they are still the best iv in ever been to. 👍 worth it. Free champagne 🥂 and cookies too
Ok so they asked me what I wanted to drink but what about the actual service. I should have just got up when I was pawned off to a tech- in - training is what I think. He was the slowest manicurist that I have ever had and messed up my gel manicure. My manicure looks clumpy and worse than something I could have done at home. It was specially infuriating because I had specifically asked for a good nail tech while making an appointment. He kept on filing my nail from every possible direction to remove excess nail polish...huh!!! I only give two stars to this place because the tech was nice but I will not be going back.
Meh. Heres why.Pros: Alcohol - includes a mimosa or red/white wine. Puppy - there is a little dog in the store that will sometimes come sit in your lap while you get a pedicure. $ - not expensive.Cons: Time - this place is slow, even when its not too crowded. Quality -mani/pedi doesnt last long before chipping.
Had a matching mani pedi but the regular and gel colors did not match. Then the gel on my nails completely crackled within a couple of days.
Great attention to detail and always a very welcoming environment. Ive been going to Tree for gel manis/regular manis/pedis for a year now and he never disappoints. An added bonus is that they kindly offer bottled water or even wine or champagne upon entry. Its my neighborhood retreat and a favorite anytime treat.
Best Nail Salon in DC! Great service !
Love the professionals here, and Essie. Its a great place!
I love this place! I purchased a regular pedi and a gel mani, and both were done well. Plus, there is a lovely dog, named Essie, that will warm your lap while you wait.Great customer service, plenty of color choices, clean and comfortable massage chairs, clean tools, and a glass of champagne. Yay!Keep your receipt, and if you need a fix within two weeks, its free!
Clean, great technique, free champagne!
Love the entire staff, very kind and they take very good care of their customers! Linda is my nail tech but she does all my services from wax to pedi👣
This was my first time here because its the only place within a half hour drive of my house open on Sunday after 6 pm. I dont usually get my nails done on Sunday for this reason, but I had a bit of an emergency as I got black dye from a new pair of jeans all over my gel mani.I had a really great experience here, from complimentary drinks and food, to amazing service, to a written explanation posted on the wall of why they dont use razors to cut callouses (illegal/unhealthy). It actually is the best mani/pedi I have ever gotten. The nail tech gave me a lot of advice on nail care and really worked hard to get the details right. She spoke fluent English enough to ask me exactly what I wanted and then actually do it.My only minor concerns about this place is the owners have two small puppies who are allowed to roam free all over the salon. I personally have no phobias about dogs and dont mind them being around, but I found it odd since I saw no warning/signage outside the establishment to alert people to the fact. Since its outside of the norm people wouldnt expect dogs; I think it would be in step with their high standards of customer service if they put a visible notice somewhere on the outside of the door.Lastly I found it a little bit of a low blow to charge $5 for a gel mani removal. I dont know if they charge that fee to everyone, or only people who come in with a gel mani and want a normal polish mani, which is what I did. I cant imagine acetone in bulk is that expensive that they need to charge people to recoup the costs, and it all came off in a couple of minutes with a negligible amount of effort compared to all the hard work the tech did overall. It wasnt mentioned to me until it was time to pay and it just didnt sit well with me.
Great salon. Always
I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was not great. They didn’t clean my nails or trim/file evenly (at multiple points he was only filing my finger, not the nail at all). My gel manicure started coming off after 3 days (this has never happened at any other nail salon I’ve ever been to.) I only came here because my typical place was closed and I won’t be coming back.
V and her team are always professional, kind and prompt with service.
Great service, but the champagne was cheap & gave me a headache.
Yesss complimentary champagne with my pedicure? Sign. Me. Up.
I got a basic pedicure. They did an ok job, and for an ok price.
Today I was ignored by the employees for 20 minutes. They refused to service me as a customer, they were very rude and unprofessional!
Didn’t wanted to do my nails :/
I had a horrible customer service experience at this salon. I will never go here again. One nail tech was extremely disrespectful and rude. They also had two dogs running around the salon, which Im sure is a health code violation.
I wish the staff could have been less distracted in the process.
Worse manicure experience. Went in for a gel manicure and came out with burnt hands. Their equipment is super old and I should have been worried when they put sunscreen on my hands. Avoid!
This is the only gel manicure that has lasted for me. I destroy Gel in 3 days, this literally has lasted for 2 weeks.
Too big, too crowded, too rushed, weekend price higher. All nails rough, ripped hosiery, had to redo at home. THEN, they added a tip to the credit card after being given it in cash! :/
Favorite nail shop in DC
Worst service.
Very unprofessional and sloppy work
They serve Mimosas
