Avoid this place like the plague. The massage chairs don’t work, the place wasn’t barely clean, strong chemical smell and I asked for shinny buff and left with crusty nails. The girl didn’t even use cuticle oil! I asked the manager if my nails were quality and she said, oh we don’t do shinny buff. Whaaat, so why do you have the shinny buffer, don’t play with me.

I went to the salon for the 1st time because my average salon was closed--a horrible mistake. The clients will let you know this is not a luxury spa. The employees are not even wearing their masks correctly. The massage chairs are taped up, the male manager is rude, and the nail polish I selected looks cheap.I requested a gel medi/Pedi with a design on the toe. The tech agreed to the service, but after scrubbing the feet, she said she cannot do the procedure. I told her I no longer want gel polish on my toe or hands. She applied the polish on my toes, and it didnt look smooth. I assumed it would look better dry, but the color darken and looks cartoon-like. She didnt scrub my feet, and I presume the massage applied lotion to my legs. I didnt get to choose my pedicure service; the tech gave me the basics, but without the hot towel and massage. I noticed as the toes dried, they looked worse, and I realize the manicure didnt look any better. The manicure was worse after I washed my hands. When I sat back down, the tech was ready to apply polish. I told her to stop because I wouldnt say I liked the job, and she asked me to go to the front and check out.I did ask the man with the long hair who was the manager. He told me he was and begin speaking in another language. I told him I would call tomorrow because I wasnt happy with the service. He rolled his eyes and said, whatever. I call ten later, and the same man claimed if I didnt like the service, they would have never made me pay. I suggested they discuss ways to improve customer service, and he made the situation seem to be my fault. I told him I would leave a review, and he said, sure, that not a problem. I also told him I wouldnt come back, and he didnt seem to care.Since the service listed was not rendered, I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

I got a pedicure with white polish and my pedicure didnt even last 5 days before it started chipping! Waste of money and time...called in to ask if I could be serviced right away and was told yes but still had a 20 min wait time.

Love the design.. i just got my nails done here by the girls she did an amazing job on my nails, the service is great and the shop is super clean. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family.

Sadly, the foot tub is not cleaned and the equipment is not sterilized properly for pedicures, also they reuse porous things like buffers and nail files. Wait time is long even with appointment under Covid which is worrying. Shame since staff is ok.

This has been my go to place since 2012. When I moved to Orlando it took me 2 years to find someone as good. I did find some body. But if she was up here, I would never look her way. Upon my return, I went back to Lady Nails and my compliments are as if I never left. Im glad to be back. Thank you Lady Nails.

I don’t understand how people are giving this place a bad review and I’m guessing it’s because the place is busy at times and some customers are always impatient. I’ve been coming here since 2014 to get my acrylic nails and pedicure done. They’re super friendly and my nails be poppin lol

I made an appointment to get my acrylics filled in tonight. I show up and they say theyre busy and it will be at least 30 minutes. Whats the point of an appointment, then?Dont waste your time, they clearly dont care about their customers.

I been going close 10 years good service Candy and Kenny and the Little man do a great job Im always statifued.

They were very rude. When I asked them questions about my service, they completely ignored me and would start talking to each other. The lady who did my service was passive aggressively rough when performing on my nails. Plus the end product wasn’t a work of Art either as she left residue on my hands. There are SEVERAL other salons nearby that are less expensive and more customer friendly. Go there. If they don’t change their customer service, they will soon go out of business!!

Rough, rude, and rushed. My hands were sore the next day from the drills and harsh treatment of my hands. My nail length is uneven... My fill-in has bubbles in the acrylic.. The work was extremely sloppy and rushed. I ask if there was a high gloss top coat. The tech laughed and said it comes in gel only and would be additional. I get high gloss clear coats ALL the time, so that was a lie. If someone comes in that they know, they will put them in front of you, even if theyre a walk in. I do not recommend and would not go back!

Ive given this place too many chances. Got gel polish on my own nails and lasted A day. They dont clean tools well at all... Unless you say something.pretty sure they are operating without a lisence. Dont waste your money on a job you can do at home. One star for color selection

I regularly get gel pedicures here and this place is excellent in service and in price. 50.00 includeds callus remover, a lemongrass scrub and foot mask with warm towel and finishes with a hot lemongrass foot massage. You cant find a gel pedi in DC with all of this for this price. Also they take their time.

I walked in and there were only two people working and nobody even bothered to greet me so I signed my name and went to look at the polish colors. Finally I walked up to them in the pedicure area and she says can I help you? Yes I want to get my nails done... ok. So I just wait. Finally when Im getting my nails done he took forever and kept repeating each finger like 10 times as though he was trying to keep correcting mistakes.. Ill The customer that started after me was finished way before me. I will excuse the time though since my nails look good. Its better to take your time if you are amature.... 3 stars

Terrible Customer Service. They use the same dirty nail utensils and files on everyone. Their phone verbiage is were too busy. Location is dusty.

My nails last one week went back to do over they wanted to charge another 50dollars...

Got my eyebrows done and they ripped off the top layer of my eyelids on both side now I have red scabs that will scar.

This place is gross. The chemical smell is super strong, the nail care tools were NOT well-cleaned between customers, and some of the employees were chowing down on meals at the nail stations between customers. Only reason my rating is two stars rather than one, is because the prices are friendly.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a nail salon. I sat in this establishment for over an hour and watched the lady, Candy, BARLEY, speak to EVERY BLACK person that came in the store. There were 2 black ladies she DIDNT speak to; they sat down for a moment and then walked out. When 2 white ladies came in it was, Hi, how can I help you today? When I pointed this out to Candy she said those ladies had an appointment. Having an appointment doesnt mean you dont GREET the other customers properly. If you want appointment only you should put that on your window.

The technician/owner in the front is rude and don’t greet customers. I had used this salon as my last resort when I am pressed for time, however, I don’t recall seeing them clean the pedicure bowl and that’s the reason why I get polish change. The last time I was there my gel manicure chipped several days later and had to go back for redo. I gave it two stars for location and price.

Went in for a regular mani/pedi on a Sunday afternoon. Cost $35, which is pretty great price for DC. Pedi was great and mani was good. Will definitely be coming back. They had a really large selection of gel colors and less regular. But all and all, would definitely recommend.

I only go for my eyebrows and Candy always preserves my thickness and makes them beautiful.

I have tried to give this place a chance. It’s the cheapest one on h st. However you get what you pay for. I got a gel acrylic fill in and the “gel” polish hasn’t even lasted a week. I paid $35 and it was a complete rip off. I will never go back.

The absolute worst experience Ive had out of any nail shop I have ever went to their was a dead rodent in the corner and the gentleman who wanted to do my nails had just came in from smoking and did not wash his hands I calmly and respectfully left the shop .I will never go there again

Maybe the worst nail salon in d.c.!! Arrived 2 hours before closing only to be told it was too late leave and comeback tomorrow. The lady that was getting her nails done at the moment told me she made the big mistake of reading reviews after her nails were started and she would not be returning either. Save time save money and go elsewhere

They have roaches. I have gone here twice. The place is dirty. Its extremely dusty. I am postive they do not clean their supplies as each time I have gone the cleaning solution containers on their stations were empty. The lady who did my nails had an attitude the entire time when I went the first time. I went back last Friday and they were understaffed. The girl had just finished doing lashed before she did my nails and did not bother to wash her hands so she got eyelash glue on me. The I look up and see a ROACH crawl in one of the cups behind the register desk. So nope. Nope nope. I will never go back. It is Monday and my gel polish is already chipping. Terrible and disgusting.

Went to get a full set and pedicure but salon not open when stated they should be. That’s not professional and there was not business hours posted anywhere either.

So I came in for a fill in & the lady started on my nails ( taking the color off ) . Somebody walks in thats a regular and the lady says she has appointment with her so I have to get up and sit in the chairs behind . So now my color has been scraped off and I have to wait even tho I was there first !!! Worst nail salon ever ! They only have two tech today and the other two people who works at the store are just sitting there !! If you dont do nails and all that why are you working here ??? !!
