I have been going to the 14th street location to get my eyebrows waxed the past few months and I have had a wonderful experience every time. I decided to get my nails done there today, and I was very impressed! Becca did a wonderful job and I will definitely be going back..now for both my eyebrows and nails!

A truly WONDERFUL experience. I’ve had my lashes done at other businesses but this is by far the best I’ve ever had. Joy was a delight to work with, she walked me through all of the lash items and helped me figure out a combo that would give me the look I was going for and work best for my eye type. She is meticulous, thorough, gentle, and did a beautiful job. Will definitely be back next time I need to punch up my lashes! The whole salon is very nice, with a soothing and modern aesthetic.

In town for a trip and wanted to get some gold glitter nails. Mandy was so helpful, listened to what I wanted and made the most beautiful set for me. I even came back for a fill in before I left town. I was telling everyone in town where I got them done because everyone wondered so now I am saying it here: if you need a fresh set in DC, this is the place to go!!

Mandy does my nails and pedicure, she is AMAZING… Emily does my eyelash extensions, she had been the best lash tech thus far over the years. I enjoyed the experience. Although I was 10 minutes early my appointment was at 3 the technician started late. I did not like that. Start on time.My lashes were done nicely but I was not fully satisfied. They are heavy on the end but very light in the middle. We did the cat eyes. If I return I will try another technician and have a picture.

Best. Day. Ever. I called to see if they had any cancellations and the did not but offered to add me to their waitlist. I got lucky and shortly after received a call that they could do my lashes . The receptionist was friendly and professional, Emily the technician was also friendly and did an amazing job. Love that cat eye Then I had a manicure and pedicure by Tina who made me feel like I was having a try spa day. My feet look and feel wonderful. I highly recommend this place and will be returning for sure.

I love that they have new polishes versus the ones near my home in Maryland. They are quick and efficient. I gave them a 4 star because parking is awful. If you find street parking is a blessing because your services are quick but look good.

I am so happy with the eyelash extensions I received. This was my first time ever getting them so I wasnt sure what to expect, and my lashes came out perfect! Diana was my lash technician and she spent a lot of time going over pictures so we could figure out what I wanted. Honestly they looked beautiful and natural (but still dramatic and had volume) and I could not even feel that I was wearing extensions at all! This was perfect for my recent vacation and the lashes stayed put the whole time even after going to the pool and beach. It was such a relief to not have to worry about wearing makeup on my trip. The salon was beautiful and clean and the staff was friendly and professional and wearing masks. I would definitely recommend this salon and especially Diana for anyone looking for eyelash extensions in DC, and will definitely book again for my next trip or event!

They are always on time for my appointment, which is always appreciated. I go there for the Hydrodermabrasion & Oxygen Infusion facial. They always explain what products they are using and it is the most relaxing 60mins of my entire month.

I was literally in this salon for over 3.5 hours. I got gel x nails and a pedicure. I ended up having to get a gel pedicure because I could not wait in that salon any longer if I had to wait for my toes to dry. I get the same service every single time (at different places) and it takes max 1.5 hours. On top of me having a dreadful experience, they charged me $15 for removing my nails. I know that some places do this, but they are always listed on the price list. However, they did not tell me until after the fact. If I had known that, I would have gone elsewhere. Definitely wont be back.

I was recommended to come to this salon by a friend who frequently sees the same person (I forget her name). A few days before my birthday I schedule an appointment to come and get a gel mani - gold tips but not ur regular French. I asked if this unusual request would be doable the man on the phone told me the recommended nail tech wasn’t in but Mandy would be able and happy to do this for me. Great!I showed her pictures and she told me this wouldn’t be achievable with gel and basically tells me she doesn’t do this kind of work.I said ok understandable even though the man on the phone said she could. This was a little annoying but I just wanted cute nails done so I told her I was willing to change the idea to something she felt more comfortable with.She did not seem happy but said ok fine we can do it with gel (ummm?) but the gold would have to be done with powder. I said ok awesome! I gave her opportunities to comment or suggest something else she would be comfortable with. Again she is the tech I am the customer. Why am I felt to accommodate her??Anyway she was pretty rude during the time she was doing my nails. I asked for not too long of length. She as unhappy. I said. As long as you feel comfortable with. Again, me sacrificing my wants.She didn’t do any of the extra stuff I paid for, warm towel, massage, not even lotion.Not ONE of these nails were even or the same shape. She photographed them and I told her they were cute but not even. She said nothing.I’ve done my gel nails at home during lockdown and did a better job than this “professional”.She didn’t file them down. They were chunky and poorly done.I had to go home and fix them SMH!By the time we were done there was no one there. No one to help me or talk about this issue.I had to ASK for lotion and cuticle oil. What?!Very disappointing. I don’t recommend if you want good quality nails or even polite service (bare minimum).Pictures included

I did the express pedicure. Everything seems satisfactory. Things felt clean and new.I was surprised that the chair I was sitting in was made of fabric which would not be immediately cleanable. I would’ve preferred a leather seat.Also the music that was piped in included advertisements which is not very relaxing. I would’ve preferred commercial free music.Finally I had made a note in my online reservation. The person who served me had not read the note.

The salon is beautiful and Lucy is amazing! I’ve been going here religiously for my lash extensions after moving to DC a year ago. Lucy always makes sure I leave with perfect lashes, I’m so happy I found this place!

At the end of any service, you want to have the look you asked for when you started it.My lash tech asked what i wanted before we started. I asked for a “cat eye” look for my lash extensions — long on the edge and small on the inside. I left the salon with a generic and basic lash extension with no cat eye shape.I believe my tech was rushed and distracted. why? someone at Laveda cancelled my appointment, so when I showed up there was no tech for me. The woman at the front desk was kind and quick-acting and did my lashes herself.Due to my appointment being cancelled, we started 15 minutes late AND she was on the phone during the first 20 minutes of my service, speaking to her manager about the change.I think it was great that she could see me, but I believe the lash service was rushed and compromised. it wasn’t my fault the appointment was cancelled.Not sure I will return.

Laveda is an all service place boutique. I have never found a place that can do it all and do it with such excellence. The customer service and care is very refreshing and I’m so excited I found them!!

I showed up at 3:50 for my 4:00 appointment. At 4:15 I asked what was happening as they hadn’t said anything to me about running late. They said it’d be 8 more minutes (oddly specific, but okay). At 4:30 I left. I don’t understand how places think its okay to treat people this way? If I was running 30+ minutes late to an appointment I’d expect to have to call ahead to let them know and/or expect to be charged. Why is it okay for a business not to treat its customers with the same respect?

I went to Laveda to get eyelash extensions for the first time. It was the day before my wedding, so I was pretty nervous about getting it right! Joy was so wonderful - she was super patient with my consultation even though I was indecisive about the length and curl of the lashes. She did a beautiful job applying the lashes and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Joy!

This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I completely loved the way they come out. My tech was very professional and since it was my first time getting them done she was great at recommending a more natural look not to short and not to long. I will definitely be returning to get my nail and eyebrows done her as well.

A young lady did my lash lift and tint and talked the whole time and was terrible at the process. it seemed like it was her first time. If she focused on what she was doing maybe it would have turned out better. but my lashes were all messed up and she said it was because i had some young baby lashes growing in. i should have asked for my money back but i was busy getting ready for travelling out of the country. they shouldnt let staff do this procedure unless they are fully trained and professional.

My tech was so sweet and gentle when waxing my lip and brows. This was my first time getting my brows tinted and I absolutely love them. I would say I will be back soon but I am visiting from out of town lol.

My Nail Technician, Jill, was magnificent. She was pleasant and through. I will return.Highly recommend an uber/lyft/taxi if you are in the commuting area. Street parking is difficult to find.

I recently moved to DC and wanted to find my new nail place. I did some research online and found Laveda. Seeing that they did a variety of services I was excited. They exceeded my expectations. I just got a simple wax for my brows but they were done very well. I got a full set gel manicure from Temi and she did an amazing job. She was super gentle, made sure I got what I wanted, and went out of her way to give me the best experience. My nails look and feel amazing. She even took some creativity and gave me a fun design! Will definitely be going back soon.

Its close by & my first time here after reviews. However there was an issue of timeliness. I ensure that I arrive to my appointments at least 15 to thirty minutes early. Today was no exception. I arrived about 1:30 pm and appt was at 2. But I was seen at least twenty minutes after my appointment. So that was strike one considering this is my first time visit. Of course annoyed I told thr Facials this but I guess to make sure I was a treat happy with the I outcome she made sure that I had some extra time. The Facial was great, intense and well worth but in order for me to to be entirely impressed I would hope that I had a room a little more discreet & comfortable (like a Spa, private) other than that my experience with this type of facial i was impressed and actually my face feels brand new. I might return but afraid of if and when I return if this timeliness would occur again. Ill see it if do by July.

Saw all the great reviews and chose to come here for a birthday treat. Got a mani/pedi and it was awesome! My manicurist had such a attention to detail. She really took her time and did a fantastic job. The salon was exceptionally clean and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back here for more spa days.

I recently moved to DC, one block from Laveda, and was excited to try it out in the hopes that they would become my go-to nail salon. My appt for a dip manicure started off great-- the salon is beautiful, the staff are friendly and punctual and the tech took her time. Then I went to check out and was told that I had to pay $15 extra. I was not alerted to this up-charge by the tech, and only got a simple two color dip, no nail art. The only response was that the tech advised her to do so. I was disappointed to say the least - but I paid (and tipped the tech for her work) and decided I would never go back. I deleted their auto-message requesting a review. But when I got the 2nd request, I decided to privately let management know they need to be better about pricing transparency. It was 11PM when I sent this note and I immediately got a reply from Marc (owner?) saying he was going to investigate and get back to me in the morning. Sure enough, at 9am he called to apologize, say that he didnt think my service warranted the up-charge and that he would refund the $15 right away. We had a nice chat and he told me theyre new to the area as well, and how important it is to him to listen to customers, get feedback and make sure theyre always improving and doing the right thing. I just wanted to share this story to commend Laveda for genuinely caring about providing great customer service. I didnt publicly denounce them by leaving a negative review, but privately expressed my disappointment. So this was no performative response, but a small effort to personally make it right behind the scenes, which really speaks volumes. Theyve definitely earned my business back.

The absolute BEST pedicure experience that Ive had in my life. The women here are professional, classy and very VERY good at what they do. Anna is a superb talent when it comes to pedicure and massage! 100% recommend it.

I got a lash lift and tint done by Gianna (sp?). She basically did a miracle getting my short little Asian lashes to look so full and lush. Thank you so much for the amazing service, Gianna! I will be back and request her specifically. Also considering micro blading since this salon is so professional and makes you look fabulous.

I love Laveda Lash’s staff. My first impression was the phone call I had with a man. I love that he took the time and initiative to explain the whole microblading process, answer all my questions, and more! It was a lasting impression, so I booked an appointment online for my mom to get her eyebrows microbladed. The technician (forgot her name, but she’s from Mongolia) was very kind, and I appreciated the attention to detail. We were going back and forth with the shape, so she handed me the pencil and I actually shaped my mom’s brows! We were talking beforehand about how they liked my makeup for my eyebrows, so I think she could sense that I knew exactly what I wanted for my mom which was true. She was very patient and talented. My mom was very happy with the outcome! I booked another appointment and made a mistake with the time, easy fix! Great service.

The nail salon is lovely, comfortable, and spotless. The service is outstanding. The ambiance is calming. Prices are a little higher than most nail salons, but its worth it for the care and quality.

I thought I found what I was finally looking for in DC and was super excited about it but unfortunately, that was not the case. I haven’t even received a service from this place as their customer service was terrible. I had inquired to them with a question and they proceeded to be helpful initially and promised to get back to me. They never did. I followed up about 2-3 times and all of my inquiries were ignored although they read them. (The time stamps don’t lie) If you’re not going to be consistent with customers via Instagram, maybe you shouldn’t use that as a way to communicate and have a different way to follow up. I don’t think I’d want to go to a place that treats their prospective customers like that anyways.EDIT: In response to your comment, Laveda, the fact that you responded here the next morning before responding to either of my simple follow ups I sent the past couple weeks says what I need to know about the company and how you treat and value your customers.

I stumbled upon this little gem because of their sidewalk sign, and was able to make an appointment online for later that day. The manager knew who I was when I walked through the door. We confirmed my services for the day and off I went to have my gel mani, pedi, brow wax. The young lady who did my pedicure was extremely gentle and while she worked on my feet another young lady prepped my nails for manicure . Brows set, paid minus 1st time discount, booked next appointment and was out the door.Face mask required. I love the atmosphere and decor and would recommend Laveda Lash and Brow Boutique to family, friends, and strangers!

Gel nail polish only lasted two days

Really great service. The salon was super calm, welcoming and precautious. They followed safety protocols and I watched as they cleaned and wipe down the pedicure/manicure area after usage. My aesthetician Mandy was the sweetest thing! She communicated when she was washing her hands and used the appropriate PPE to safely tend to my hands and toes, all while STILL giving me amazing service and leaving me with beautifully polished nails after so long!!

Laveda Lash & brow is my new go to for lashes, I get my lashes done by Lucy she does an amazing job her work is neat & clean the lashes feel so light and silky with no shedding. The environment once you go in is very welcoming and the salon is beautiful and always clean!
