One of the best pedicures Ive ever had! They were also super detailed oriented while completing my gel manicure. They made sure my mom and I were able to sit next to each other the whole time and offered us water.Update: Been here twice now! Had just as good as an experience the second time. They are always very accommodating with walk-ins on the weekend.

Do NOT go here for tipsI made an appointment and had to wait 35 minutes. I asked for coffin shape and he gave me almond. When I saw how he filed it I said that’s not the shape I wanted and he said when he puts the powder on it’ll be closer to coffin. When he put the acrylic on it was still wrong again and I asked him to change it.The nails are the wrong shape and all different lengths and sizes.At the end he asked if I liked it I said no this is the wrong shape and he said “I love it”

Went in to get SNS nails, the color is pretty, but I am not sure if it is the SNS powder or what but its only been a week and a half and much of it has chipped / the shape of my nail doesnt look good and it is kind of thick. Its just kind of ugly and I am sad -- I also paid $80 for their pedi and mani deal but didnt get a hand massage that most salons do and same thing for my legs. It was my first time there and I dont think Ill go back ): 3 stars because they were really nice when I came back because one of my SNS cracked right in the middle like two days later.

I felt safe getting my feet done. They spread clients out and adhere to safe distancing/masking protocol. They only have maximum three people working at a time, meaning there are a maximum of six people in the shop at once. There are plexiglass shields for people getting manicures. A great experience.

Capitol Nails has been under new ownership for the past year. It is my ‘go to’ salon now. It is impeccably clean and the 3 different nail technicians I’ve used have done wonderful jobs. They are professional and always take me on time. My manicures and pedicures, whether I get gel, or regular polish, always come out beautifully and they last. I highly recommend this great nail salon on Capitol Hill.

Came In on Friday to treat myself. On Monday 2 nails came off. Today two more. Gave Capitol Nail a call Nina was polite and explained they will fix them. However, I live 2 hours away. No help to me. Nails look like trash & spent $40, which I thought was already out of control. Should have just saved my money.

I just got a French manicure today at Capitol Nails, and it looks great! They were very friendly and professional, and did a fantastic job. She let me look at them and made sure I was happy with them before putting the top coat on. I went at about 5:00 with no appointment and got started as soon as I walked in without having to wait. I am going back for a pedicure soon, I would definitely recommend their service.

Im a frequent guest of Nina, as she expertly handles all of my waxing needs. Shes been doing this a long time and anything you need, shes here to fix it. Recently under new management. Give this salon a try.

Had a great experience here. It was quiet and I didn’t have to leave my pedicure chair for my manicure. They went above and beyond to help me relax on a stressful day.

I had three different people work on my nails in one visit. I needed one nail repaired and a polish change. It took over an hour and they did not listen to what I was asking for at all. I walked out with 10 different length and shaped fingers with the worst polish paint job. I went home and re-did them myself. I only went here because my regular nail salon is closed Sunday and I needed one nail fixed. They also wouldn’t stop pushing me to get dip powder when I do acrylic. Staff is friendly just low quality experience.

Way too expensive to have gel polish removed- what a rip off! I paid $56 for removal only. The technician, Lisa, was good though. Not sure that Ill go back.

If you go, dont get the lady battle ax. Shes the mean lady. She cut my skin twice. I was bleeding. She didnt apologize. She put my foot back into the water and said ok now?She did a terrible job on the polish, leaving uneven color. She cut and trimmed in odd shapes. She really was awful.I think the guy may be better this was last week. June 3rd 2018.AVOID THE TOAD LADY:. Shes small, older with a belly.

AWFUL Experience. Went in to get a simple eyebrow waxing. Told the lady I wanted them cleaned up. She waxed off my entire eyebrows and tried to convince me that I needed to use a pencil and that would make them look better. Walked straight out of the place in tears.

I called this nail salon prior to coming and they gave me pricing on full set with gel (fake nails) because I found it on google. I came into the shop and it was completely empty. I asked for the full set with gel and a lady with glasses told me they couldn’t service me because the lady who does fake nails was not there and for me to go down the street to the other salon without offering me anything else. I then said ok, can I just get the manicure without fake nails and they talked back and forth with each other then refused me. This shop is highly racist. my voice did not match my description.

I came in with a picture of what design I wanted and both owners looked at it and said, yes we can do it then they took my money and at the end they said I had to pay even more for the design but they couldnt tell me how much that would be until it was complete. i skipped the design and when my nails were done they looked like duck bills. You could clearly see both my natural nail and the acrilyc. There was no attemp to make it right. Im never going back there again.

This was by far the worst manicure I have ever received. Totally rushed to the point that it felt anxious, barely filed and uneven, the color is thrown on and is totally uneven and even missing in parts. The lady kept accidentally touching the wet nails and ruining them and had to redo them 4 times and even then they still look so bad. What a waste of time and money. Do not go here.

Horrible. I was rushed through a pedicure. Then I wanted a new full set. He is taking off the old set and cuts me and pokes me more than once. I then tell them I want to pay and I dont want the full set and they charge me $42. Never again. Awful service.

They are so disgusting here they dont have proper hygiene cleanliness they did a horrible job on my broken nail and try charging me 45 dollars for a color change they need all their license taken away and back to beauty school i wish I could give them a negative star ..I had to take a shower right after my visit do not go there save your money

I came here to get a nail repair and the lady who did if was absolutely rude but Im not gonna shame one person for the whole experience the experience was great there generally friendly people but this one lady was super rude .
