Nice place. I had pedicure and manicure there and I really liked it

I had gone when they first opened up for the day so it was nice and empty. The lady doing my nails seemed to be new so she wasn’t that professional. I just did a polish change so it wasn’t something complicated. It honestly looked like a 5 year old painted my nails. They didn’t look professionally done at all. The next day most of the polish on my nails were out as if I didn’t even do them. I ready previous comments that the nail polish quality seemed off and I could definitely see that now. Less than 24 hrs later they are almost all chipped off. It’s horrible! I don’t recommend anyone going to them.

Jessica will be my go to place when I’m on M Street. Much cleaner and brighter than the other mani place nearby. Staff were very nice and accommodating. I have an injured nail, was in a rush, AND smudged the polish and she still did a top notch job!

The worst salon experience I’ve had. The employees were very rude. They were constantly shouting at each other in the salon. The nail polish was disorganized, and they could not seem to find my color for a long time. The quality of the nail polish was very questionable. I ended up contracting toe fungus right after I got the pedicure. I have never gotten toe fungus before this. Do not go here!!

Great place to get your nails done. Just make sure to make an appointment because they do get busy!

WORST nail experience ever. She was impatient with me and sprayed a lot of chemicals on my hands. The place is not that special looking on the inside. Ive gotten my nails done my whole life: nails on, gel on. It was a standard mani and when she was done she said $80. That is INSANE. I know she made that price up. She said nails on is $60 and gel is $20 AFTER. My friend got gel polish and it cost her $10 more. Hate this place.

AVOID THIS SALON. IT SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. It is CORRUPT. This salon FORGED MY RECEIPT, which is unacceptable and ILLEGAL. They are HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and ABSURDLY DISRESPECTFUL. They will SCAM you and TAKE ADVANTAGE of you if you are not careful.I got a pedicure with a friend. The price was $35, and I left the tip line blank because in my opinion, it was way too overpriced for what I actually got. So, I wrote $35 on the total line, with the tip line blank, and then signed. The next day, I check my bank account and it says that Jessica Salon took $45 from my account. I called them and told them politely about my problem, and it just went downhill from there. The owner continually argued, you signed it, how can you prove that this isnt you. I repeated that I did not write a $10 tip. She then sent me a picture of my receipt and I was tremendously SHOCKED by what I saw. Someone had CROSSED OUT the 3 and CHANGED it to a 4 and wrote $10.00 on the tip line. I knew for SURE that was not me. First, I remember specifically not giving a tip and second, I know that this was not my handwriting. Also, why in the world would anyone fight to get JUST $10 tip back if they truly gave that tip? That doesnt make sense. I would only spend my precious time and energy trying to get my money back if I was being FRAUDED. I was genuinely dumbfounded when she kept saying, You cant prove that you didnt changed it from 3 to 4 because I have your signature.I continued to say I did not cross that 3 to a 4. As the conversation progressed, her attitude got incredibly and INAPPROPRIATELY CONDESCENDING AND DISRESPECTFUL, accusing me of lying and attacking my moral character. This is literally FRAUD and this is HIGHLY ILLEGAL and ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. My receipt was FORGED. I was so SHOCKED by how much she accused me of lying. I have NEVER experienced such bad service.Jessica clearly does NOT know how to talk to customersShe called me back and told me to come to the store and that theyd give me a refund. I met her in person and she aggravated the situation by continuing to verbally attack and insult me, in person this time, and even threatened me. She showed me the receipt again and repeated see, you signed it and wrote the $10 tip, what you are doing is illegal. I was TRULY ASTONISHED. I honestly could not even process what she had just said to me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? First of all, I did NOT do anything illegal because I DID NOT WRITE THAT $10 TIP. YOU’RE THE ONE WHO’S DOING SOMETHING INCREDIBLY ILLEGAL BY FORGING MY RECEIPT. All I said was, Can I please have my money back. I did not write that $10 tip. And she STILL has the AUDACITY to THREATEN me and call me illegal several more times. I have never experienced such disrespectful customer service in my life.Next she said judgmentally, Why wouldnt you give a tip for the service my employee gave you? I said calmly, Even if I didnt give a tip, that doesnt mean you can forge a tip and write down a tip for yourself on my receipt without my consent. That led to increased verbal harassment, probably bc she was frustrated that I caught her doing something illegal. After a very dreadful 15 minutes of her threats and false accusations in person, she finally gave me my refund. This was the most distressing and disturbing customer service I have ever experienced in my life. This salon is very UNPROFESSIONAL, FORGING MY RECEIPT, and even accusing me of illegality!Lastly, I know it was impolite of me to not tip, but that does NOT MEAN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES that you have permission to FORGE my tip WITHOUT MY CONSENT! That is ILLEGAL. I am writing this review about my terrible experience to warn others. Trust me and go to another nail salon- there are many good ones in Georgetown a couple of blocks from this one with great professionalism and customer service. Do not risk almost getting scammed like me- it is honestly not worth your time and energy. I repeat, do not risk such a deplorable experience like the one I had here. Hate this place with a great passion.
