Ive been going to John for years now, as I am very particular about the shape of my acrylics. He is able to make the nails narrow and thin if you are in the mood for a more natural look. He is also skilled at doing long coffin shape if you are in the mood for more glam. He always manages to do exactly what you ask for and Fast! The salon itself is a nice size, especially for Adams Morgan. Highly recommend.

Not sure of the end result because never got to experience it. Severely lacking customer service. I called to book an appointment and was sent a link to book online.Showed up to a 6:15 appointment booked and waited 45 min after being told to wash hands and wait in the waiting area.Would not recommend.

Went for my eyebrows. The workers stay on the phone while they work so that was a concern. Didnt ask me if the wax was too hot. I expect some pinkness on my face afterwards but its lasted for 2 days already, kinda itchy and pink spots. Probably wont come here again in a while. Theyre right around the corner where I live so its only convince. Agreeing with another older review here, they stare at you blankly and no greets at the door.

I love LV Nails. The salon is very clean, my pedicures and manicures are always the way I like them to look. I only get my eyebrows waxed here because Im never disappointed.

I was walking by and this place looked nice and clean, so I went in for a gel mani. The service was very good and my gel is still going strong three weeks later. It’s not peeling or getting caught in my hair at all. The man did an excellent polish application, the prices were great, and I’ll be going back.

I got pedicure today I came out with dry skin still on my feet, I didnt get the foot and leg massage that you usely get with pedicure, I will not be going again

Mai does my nails and she is amazing! She shapes my nails perfectly no matter what I ask for...pedicures are perfect! She has also done my lashes which I love❤️Kim has done my daughters nails and she has always been satisfied👍🏽My daughter has also enjoyed a facial which was done by the owner herself Anne!My mom is also a long time satisfied customer❤️❤️ She loves Mai😘😪🥰

This has been my go-to place for almost a year now. Sometimes i want to get a quick acrylic fill and pedicure and they can get me in and out, or if i want a day of relaxation they always take their time. My full sets and fills always come out so evenly and perfect. Kim & Mai always get my shape right. also love their massage chair during my pedicure i always almost fall asleep 😴Also mai does an amazing job at lashes too affordable and amazing results every time

I felt rushed. They did a ok on my pedicure even though they charged me extra for callus removal and I still had a dry patch on my heel. My manicure started to chip hours later. I also had my eyebrows arched and they are completely uneven. $70 down the drain😣

Came in tonight for a regular pedicure. Woman was very weird about cutting the length of my nails, only cut about half of them, but then she proceeded to mutilate the sides of my nail beds, cutting back and creating hang nails where there werent any, when I felt I was going to bleed I told her to stop for the third time. There was no scrubbing other than the bottom of my feet, and no massage at all. I get pedicures for the pampering, and there was none to be had here! Also, no top coat on the paint job.

This is unbelievable, I should have known not to return to this place although the young lady who did my nails did an amazing job the BAD service over powers that. I came in around 4:15pm and of course busy I understand we told them what we wanted and had seat. Around 4:30pm another young lady came in and they told her it would be a long wait because it was a lot of people waiting. This young lady said she called and that they told her the wait time is about 10 mins. The nail techs had a conversation in their language and proceeded to tell the young lady to have a seat. Mind you I had already been waiting for 15-20 minutes to get seen. At 4:45 pm they called this young lady before us and I approached the nail tech about why was she going before us and she stated she had an appointment which clearly I told her it was a lie because that young lady said she called to find out how long the wait was and not to schedule an appointment. That was VERY RUDE of them to take someone who came after me after I had been waiting. ITS SUPPOSE TO BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE UNLESS THEY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! This is such bad service and this isn’t the first time it’s happened they continuously do and it isn’t fair to your customers. I WONT BE RETURNING! Decided to go to Q nails and spa down the street on the same block MUCH BETTER SERVICE

One of my favorite nail salons. Nice, clean, and relaxing environment. You have to ask for Danny or Kim. They do a wonderful job on Gel nails. If I get a scratch or my color comes off a little bit Danny fixes it right up for me like new!! Love this place .

Love this place. Have gotten services from everyone, and can honestly say these ladies are very talented people. They use long lasting products that keep my hands and feet fully polished and looking clean. I always opt in for the sugar and callus remove during my pedicure to keep my feet lookin good. Fullsets gel mai and kim are the best! my shapes always look uniform and every picture i show them they get it done. They are updated on the newest trends and they can get mostly everything done

I saw that this place had great reviews so I decided to go in just to have my gel polish removed. I walked in on a Saturday evening without an appointment. Nobody greeted me. They all just stared me at me blankly until I told them what I wanted to have done. When I told them I was only getting my gel polish off, they looked at me like I asked for something outrageous (maybe because I wasn’t getting another manicure). Eventually, someone said they could help.My usual salon has a pretty good method for taking off gel, which I have found is pretty standard for most salons. The tech will usually use a file to scrape the top layer, then soak a cotton round and wrap the nail. My tech at this salon tore off huge pieces of cotton, soaked them, and haphazardly wrapped the nail with foil. I could tell this wasn’t going to be a good soak-off.After almost 20 minutes and lots of scraping, which still left a lot of the base coat on my nail, I asked if she would be able to cut them down and shape them so they would look at least look presentable. I also offered to pay more if necessary. She rolled her eyes at me and only filed them.I ended up going to CVS after, buying a soak-off kit, and spending another 30 minutes at home cleaning them thoroughly, cutting, filing, and shaping on my own. I’m not sure this is how you should treat a potential repeat customer. Definitely not going back now.

I used to really like this nail salon and have gone for many years. The mani-pedi were generally fairly good and the prices used to be reasonable. But apparently it now has a new owner. Today I went and during the pedicure I was asked if I wanted the dead skin removed. Sure I said as that is a normal part of a pedicure. That will be five dollars extra, I was informed. At the end when I went to pay what had previously been 35 dollars I was told I owed 50!!! And I had asked for a manicure without removing the cuticles and no polish. I can understand the need to make a place profitable but I felt like the jump in price was too much. I will now be checking out other salons in the neighborhood.

Literally the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. I’m never coming back here. Ever. And my acrylic had air bubbles in it and there was no accommodation for it. Save your money.

Ive had this place bookmarked for a while and was finally able to visit yesterday for a full set of nail extentions. My nail tech was a really sweet girl and everything was going well until she sliced both sides of my finger and one side began bleeding. In the 10 years Ive been getting this service done, Ive never gotten a cut quite this bad -- super painful. She reached for a bottle of something to put on the cut and before she did I asked if it would sting, she answered NO, put the stuff on and immediately my finger felt like it was on FIRE. By this point all the patrons were watching this scene unfold. As the pain is growing, I realize that my tech doesnt speak English and shes clearly apologetic but doesnt know what to do so she deferred to her coworker, who gave her some direction, and my tech left and returned with Neosporin.At no point did any management come over to check on the situation; it was business as usual which leads me to believe that this is a regular occurrence for them. As I type this my finger is still burning. I just hope all I have to deal with is pain and no other ill effects.

Great place! I just moved to the city and you cant beat their prices! Kim was awesome and was very attentive to detail. She did my mani, pedi and eyebrows perfect!

Posted hours say they close at 8pm, but lights were off and the doors were locked at 7:20. Ill go somewhere else then!
