The owner of the shop did my nails & recognized that I was not from the area, so he overcharged me $65 for a basic overlay. The only thing he put on my nails was acrylic powder, no nail tips. He told me that the price would be $55, & when it was time for me to pay he charged me $65. I come to this area of DC a lot & I will not be back to this nail salon!

Spent a few needed hrs pampering myself. Each tech really takes their time and attention to detail. Nails...toes...brows and added lashes.I will be back!!!

Staff Id quite rude plus these unsaid rules of where to sit when you want service. I was totally ignored and had people who walked in after acknowledge d and serviced before me. I ask whats going on they say what are you getting then Im told oh you should have sat back there then. After the full staff shows up an hour late to work.. the flies were also an unpleasant

My pedicure was amazing! The lady was very detailed and got all that foolishness out of my feet. I was very impressed, so I decided that I would like to get a fill in. Unfortunately before I can sit down the lady asked me did I want the same color on my nails as I had on my feet. I said yes, I brought my own color. Then she said they only do gel!? Thats a bit odd - Im paying for a service - I should get what I want.

Wendy did a wonderful job on my nails. I usually go to David but he has been on Vacation & Im happy to say, Wendy didnt disappoint! I love this place! I found it through google after I got tired of all the other nail places & dissatisfaction that I kept recieving... Go here... I believe they all are good..but David & Wendy were great!

I lied to you not I got my nails done Friday it is now on Tuesday Saturday night my nail popped off for no reason at all to be honest with you I was opening a bottle of Belaire and my freaking nail popped off Ive been going to this nail salon for over 10 years I lived in the neighborhood for over 13 they have never treated people with respect they talk in their language after they hear things that they feel offencive of of some sort i thought they where good people but i guess i was wrong

This place does a good job with nails but bad customer service. After waiting 35 minutes i asked David how many people in front of me he told me he didnt know. My suggestion to this place is to (((GET A SIGN IN SHEET))) Because telling customers “i dont know” is not an acceptable answer if you dont want to lose business. I had a hair appointment so i had to leave after that. I came to get a full set, pedicure and brows. But they just lost $200.

They have some good nail techs. I use to go here all the time, the guy that sits at the front did my nails. He always did a good job. No complaints for him. But far as Kelly ( eyebrow ) lady she is very RUDE and has a nasty attitude. Last time she did my eyebrows there were uneven and all messed up. I have learned not every one can do my eyebrows right.

I went here for a full set & the man was pressuring the color powder jus so that I would have to get all the nails removed in 2 weeks when I wanted a new color. These ppl charge fee on top of fee jus to get more $$$. They lie and say they have to do things jus to get extra $ when they are just lazy! The customer service is terrible. The nail salon across from DTLR is better & they actually take their time. I do not recommend High tech at all! When I went across the street the man did my nails with no issues

If y’all aren’t open on Sunday y’all need to let google know this and also I went 2 weeks ago to get my nails done David had just did these long ass nails on a girl for $60 she had the color powder acrylic and even got a diamond design on 2 nails, I sit at the dude table in front of David’s and Wendy’s table I forget his name but he tries to charge me 50 dollars to do the color powder acrylic the same thing the girl used but my nails weren’t even half the length of hers. Beware cause they try to finesse people out of there money.

Great Nail Salon I actually left my old shop for this one. It’s usually busy but what can you expect when they do such a great job. Lashes are definitely only $25 && mine usually2 weeks almost 3. The lady who said hers fell off must have been doing something wrong. Kelly is great with eyebrows too. Overall great nail salon especially for it’s location

I absolutely love this place!! I started going to them about 2 maybe 3 years ago and haven’t stopped since. David is my favorite he takes his time and does your nails exactly how you want.

If I could give less stars if I could. This place is filthy. I came at the end of the day, 1 hour before closing but the floor looks like it hasnt been swept or mopped in months. There is trash, nails, powder, stains all over the floor, dust piles up all along the walls, smudges all over the chairs. Everything is cluttered and disorganized. You get hit with a strong chemical smell as soon as you walk in- it is not a pleasant relaxing place at all. The tech scrubbed my nails with a very old, obviously not sanitized nail brush towards the end. Their waxing station had an old waxed covered stick in the wax pot- indicative of double dipping, and used wax strips all over the floor. Only 3 out of the 6 pedi chairs were working. Had all other nail salons in the area not been closed or about to close I would have left. The only positive of this experience was the actual nail tech who was nice and did a decent job with what she had. Otherwise it was horrifying I would not recommend this place to anyone until they clean their act up.

I have been going here for about 4 years. I have lived in DC since 91 and this is THEE best Nail Salon IN the DMV. Kathy/ Kathy’s Husband/ Gwen are the most amazing Nail Techs with amazing customer service and the patience of Job!!! I watched Kathy’s Husband patiently handle a situation with a very very challenging customer who clearly wanted to make a scene. Kelly does eyebrows but she’s always perfectly on point with every face. I hadn’t been to her in about a year as I moved far from the shop- she got me right today.

When you go there on a good day you get great service. The place fills up on Sunday so i advise you not to go but if you want go when it opens to get the best quality nails and service. I love this nail salon. The man that did my nails was nice and did a great job. I got a pedicure and the wait was horrible and they put others before me, when I did get to go she rushed my nails and it was a little uncomfortable.

Not satisfied with my nails, the man doing them was quite adamant on doing things the way he wanted, not how I wanted. Had to argue here n there. Then the same man had a huge fight with one other customer, yelling about prices to a point where the man even threatened to shoot the place up.Unsatisfied

High tech jack there prices up to much for me i went to go get a gel filling the price supposed to be 25 dollars but the preganant young lady that does nails and lashes charge me 30 dollars i will not be going back there again i was very disappointed.

I had a man do my nails and they looked good when he was done but a few days later the acrylic started lifting. It was too thin. He finished everything within the hour including the dry time. I thought that was very fast for a full set. He only applied one coat of polish and one layer of top coat. It had been years since i had gotten my nails done so at the time I forgot what most salons do. I have kind of dry skin and I didnt get anything on my cuticles to soften them which is something I remember getting in the past once I left. Heck, they didnt even offer me lotion before I left. The last thing thing that really bothered me was that the let random men come in and solicit. I want peace when I go in. I dont want anyone bothering me trying to get me to buy soap or purses. Im going to give them one more shot since they are so close to me.

Horrible service period. I came in to get a nail fixed and the guy couldnt do the job properly. The quality of his work was really bad and he knew it but had no intentions of fixing it. I waited 2 hours for a pedicure and another hour for my nails. They kept taking their favorite clients over those of us waiting on line. I should have went elsewhere but the time I wasted my regular Salon was closed. I paid 35 for my lashes and they fell off in 2 days. While waiting to get my services this young lady asked me how long did my lashes last and I told her the last time they lasted about 4 days and she said she had the same problem and she got up and left
