The nail techs were rude throughout the whole experience. They rushed service for me to pick a color and to paint my nails. The nail tech left to cut a separate customers hair with my nails unfinished. They offered other customers amenities that I was never offered once. And they started side conversations which made me feel uncomfortable and discriminated against.

Ive come to Happy Nails and Day Spa for nearly a year and have never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly and attentive to detail. It is clear they take the time to make sure you walk out with the best service. Once I found them, I have never been to another nail salon since.

I thought my nails were amazing when they were completely finish but I did notice she applied my acrylic EXTREMELY thin and 3 days later here I am with 2 of nails already completely popped off on top of that they charged me $50 for a gel full set that didnt even last a week yet. My friend that went with me also got her finger cut by the woman that was doing her nails to the point were it drew blood. Do not recommend this place at all

Very quick and clean salon. They were busy on Sunday morning but squeezed in 2 walk-ins for gel no problem. My technician asked before clipping my cuticles and 2 weeks later my gel is growing out but still hasnt chipped.

I go often to have my services done. Its peaceful. The only thing I dont like is that its only one person who designs and it Lucy the owner.

Terrible experience. “Eyebrow wax” is sitting in a nail chair in the middle of the salon and uncomfortably leaning your neck back while she tries to wax and pluck your eyebrow while standing up facing you. $12 for a terrible job.

This place is THE BEST in the neighborhood. I have lived in the area for years and there are LITERALLY 4 nail salons within a block and a half. This place is the BEST of all of them and in the DMV IMO. They have a week guarentee on Gel, Dip and Shelac.

For some reason, they couldnt understand plain English and I couldnt understand them, as I had to ask them respectively on repeat Maam what did you say?I got gel s & n nails with the design a simple stripe on each nail and oh my first I was told they couldnt do it then I assured them I would be tipping heavy and somehow suddenly another nail tech there said I will do it. So in total, I spent: drum roll.... $145 for a manicure and gel nails with the design. In most cases, you get what you pay for - not so with this first-time visit to this shop and my last. This may be a good shop for many ( regulars) however this shop is smack dab in the tourist mecca so to speak I am so surprised that the service rendered was so flawed not by the older woman who did my manicure ( as I had three different nail techs on that visit ) but by the younger women working there. I left with a headache and a bad taste in my mouth for the establishment.

Went there around 7:30 not realizing they closed at 8, my nail tech did a great job and took his time on my spa mani pedi. Worth every penny and he didnt rush at all, even after closing time. Im very pleased and Ill definitely return to this place.

RUSHED!!! Nails not filed! Gel polish not all removed. How do I know? I did not get new polish and it was visible. Thought I had found a gem?!? Nope!

Friendly, inexpensive place for a mens haircut

Excellent lash and wax services...clean environment...offer white and red wine but rushes at times with the mani and pedi services.
