Ive gone for over 20 years. I also take my son. Family friendly. The owner is a good guy and runs a tight operation. He is also invested in the community.

My hair is long and wavy on top (probably about 6 in) and I always get a trim and a low taper with a line up. First time here and Anthony fixed my hair up just right. Definitely coming back.

Ask for Lamont, he is incredibly skilled and professional. Listens to what you want and ask before doing something to your hair not previously approved. Overall, great vibes in that barber shop. Listening to some of the conversations is hilarious.

This is one of the best barber shops in the Washington DC area. If you live in DC or if youre traveling to DC for pleasure business and it and you need a haircut this is the best place to go. I graduated from Howard University in 1986 and I started getting my haircut at this Barber Shop when it opened in 1995.

The barbers here are such gentlemen. I usually get my haircuts done by my hairdresser, so going to a barbershop that is predominantly filled with men, it is a bit nerve wrecking. Nonetheless, the men who have cut my hair made me feel safe and held up good conversation. Also they cut it well.

I had to go here needing a barber. They gladly accepted me at the last minute. I had Preston. He listened to what I wanted, too his time, and focused on one thing. If you want a good cut, get Preston

I took a hair cut for 30 + tip BUT now is 55 + tip is very expensive for me.

Did NOT go here. Prices were $30 for a standard haircut. Walked in but was immediately told to download the Booksy app and schedule an appointment. $30 a haircut is a bit steep to me. Idk. I might be a bit old school. Also nobody charges these prices in Chicago. Might be a cost of living difference situation with the prices.But the barber was completely friendly and politely opened the locked door and helped me.Attached a screenshot of the prices on booksy if helpful

Not open.Made an appointment for 10:30am on May 30, 2020. $8 Uber ride over to the shop and a handwritten note was taped to the door saying they were closed. Never going back.

I was referred here by a friend of my wife. Im traveling and needed a cut. I was unimpressed by the owner saying he was appointment only and had me wait for another barber, but take the next walk in. However my barber Preston did a great job.

Cant deny they give solid haircuts, but the attitude issues and customer service is so bad youve got to make a decision. How badly do you want this haircut? How much can you put up with? Ill never step foot in that place again myself, but if you need a solid cut and youre short on time I can understand why youd go here.

Poor service hated it want ever come bck here I sat a hour waitin to be cut then when I asked could another barber cut my hair the barber got in his feeling and took someone else to cut who had only been there 10 minutes and then told me that after him he could not take me cause he has appointments like so unprofessional in my opinion
