Gabby is AMAZING. I have literally never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life. Even two or three weeks post-haircut, I was getting daily compliments. I mean, I know I have a good head of hair, but, my god, Gabbys touch took it to the a whole different level! It is totally worth the drive into DC and the hassle of DC parking. And the salon itself is really cute, too! Lots of great local art!

I saw Lesley and received what is quite literally the best haircut ever. The atmosphere was welcoming, the music was top tier, and everyone in the shop was so nice. I’m already booking my next appointment!

This was my 2nd visit to LCB and it was as nice as the 1st. I really like the fact that they do not make you wait. Ive had two different barbers and they both were very pleasant.

Today I went to the owner Leslie to get a haircut to correct a haircut that I got done last week. I met also Angie as well. Leslie did a fantastic job doing my hair she gave me exactly what I asked for and she walked through the step process of what I was getting done. I will be back.

I absolutely love this place... I travel from Baltimore County to DC to get my hair cut... Jo is my barber and she is amazing 😊😊 got my undercut looking amazing. And I feel amazing. Its a all female barbershop central to other things in the area. The shop is clean and professional with good vibes when you arrive. I recommend this shop for your hair cut needs no matter what hair texture or type you have.

I booked a haircut and wash with Gabby. I was sadly disappointed and I was so excited when I read her bio and decided to make an appointment with her. Once home, an upon further inspection I noticed my hair was NOT cut evenly or faded and blended on the sides and back. I know this isn’t a salon, but come on my hair was was also pitiful, she put a little leave-in conditioner, no effort made to style, coil, no other styling product, nothing. I’ve been looking for a barber that I could make my regular, well after today, sadly I am still looking.

It was my first visit. I arrived a little early because I wasn’t sure how parking would be. Found a spot right away directly across the street. The shop was clean and nicely decorated. I was greeted when I arrived by a barber (I didn’t get her name) when I came in. She was very friendly and told me that Gabby, the barber who was cutting my hair, would be right back. This was no problem as I had arrived about 10 mins early. We chatted for a few minutes. Gabby came back about 5 mins before my scheduled time and took me right away. My hair was in recovery from quarantine…so it was in kind of a mess. :-) Gabby asked me what I wanted done. After I gave what I thought was not too clear of a description, she started on my hair and about 15 mins later she was done! I couldn’t believe it! The cut was exactly what I wanted! I am very picky and can truly say I was so pleased when she finished! Thank you Gabby! I will be back!

I absolutely love my barber Daisy!!!!! She is the best! She is in nice, funny, and talented. I show her a pic of what i want and she puts her own spin on it and creates something even better. I honestly dont think i could find better. I go to Daisy every 6 weeks and she never disappoints. I have been in love with every cut and every design 😍

It’s quite natural to feel apprehensive about going to a new place, but rest assured, you’re in GREAT hands @ Lady Clipper! I did a lot of research before I was blessed to find this shop! “Lady Clipper” Leslie (the owner) gives you an idea of what to expect from the top-of-the-line treatment that you receive from her especially since she makes you feel welcomed even before walking through the door! It gets better after you arrive because you’re greeted with warm smiles & a clean relaxing environment.I was fortunate to have Gabby (nicknamed “Smooth”) as my barber. Her hands were so light with the clippers that it felt like she was barely touching my scalp/hair. Needless to say, I can’t wait until my next appointment!!My 14 yr. old niece who is EXTREMELY tender headed, was in GOOD hands with Ms. Jo. I loved the fact that Ms. Jo took the time to talk to her & ask her what she wanted done with HER hair. Prior to coming to Lady Clipper, she would be in excruciating pain every time someone would attempt to do her hair which caused her & everyone else to have A LOT of angst! Today was the first time that we visited this Barbershop and I have one word...... AMAZING! We were extremely pleased with the entire service from beginning to end. Both my children were super excited with their stylist and the interaction was amazing. We literally just moved to the area and was nervous about finding a place that could satisfy all of our needs. 10/14/20 first appointment and was very excited. I scheduled a scissor cut because I hate raggedy ends from the clippers. The appointment time allotted was 45 minutes. My appointment was at 11:30, I was in and out the door by 11:54. I was not expecting the same cutting technique used by clippers. upon arriving home, my hair is so uneven and my ends are worst now then it was before my appointment. A precise scissor cut for 45 minutes is what I expected.

In spite of being the kind of person who can find fault in anything, my experience today with Jo were impeccable.I was greeted by both staff members immediately on entry and offered a seat. She was prepared five minutes before my appointment, with a smile and pleasant attitude. After taking into account what I was looking for, I received the first cut in several years that was EXACTLY what I wanted and done with a attention to detail that merited the confidence gained from the results. I was personally welcomed by the owner and while I’m not the most conversational I did enjoy the atmosphere.Overall there was excellent cost for value and my conclusion is satisfaction of the highest caliber. I will be going back and look forward to it.

I’ve been seeing Lesley for about 5 years before she owned her own shop. I have had NOTHING but positive experiences every visit. She has always been so professional while keeping a great relationship with her clients. She really cares about her clients and supports them in anyway she can! She holds events for artists, showcases artwork and has networking events at the shop. She brings so much to the community. Don’t get me started with the superstar team she assembled! Gabby, Jo, and Daisy are all fantastic barbers and bring their own unique talents to the shop. When any of the barbers are booked I know I can rely on any of them for a master class cut. The environment of the shop is also very welcoming and friendly. You won’t regret coming here I promise. It’s changed my life!

First experience was not good. I was excited about getting a new hair cut for the new year so I made an appointment for a consultation and a cut on 12/31. Not only did I not get a consultation the barber was not at all friendly and asked me very few questions. The bio for the barber I picked said she was an artist so I thought she might have suggestions to which I was very open. I was definitely looking for something new to begin a new decade but I didnt get it. Maybe she was having a bad day. We all do. Nevertheless, I will return to this shop because its a wonderful concept and its very easy to get there. I am hoping one of the other barbers will be able to meet my needs. If my next experience is fantastic, I will post that as well.

Absolutely great experience. The stylists there are amaxing, super welcoming and kind. It was my first time in a barber that wasnt my home barber as i was visiting from out of town. I was a little nervous to put my head in the hands of someone new. Daisy was my barber and she took amazong care of me, met all my desires for my hair and can sing lile nobodys business. I was crazy early and was prepared to wait the 45 minutes until my scheduled appointment time, but instead of that happening Lesley cut my hair during what should have been her lunch break! (Dont worry, she still got a break!) I enjoyed my time in her chair and I look forward to my next haircut. I went to Lady Clipper for the first time last week and my oh my do I wish I had found this place sooner! I had gotten a bad haircut at a salon (what was supposed to be a trim of my pixie turned out to be a very masculine, uneven cut), so when I walked in to Lady Clipper I was desperate for a skilled barber to save what was left of my hair. Jo took one look at me and knew exactly what to do. She tamed my stubborn cowlicks and reshaped the cut to make it even and soften the harsh edges. Ladies with short hair: skip the salon BS and go straight to Jo instead!

This time it wasnt Good the young lady at the drive thru window could get the order correctly so she had to kerp looking for the women manager.and it took awhile.the cars behind me kept blowing the horn because they were impatient.it was just a mess.then as I checked the my receipt she over charge my credit card.

I wish I could give this spot 6 stars. It’s nice to enter a barbershop where the barbers take COVID-19 seriously. Not only that but their cuts are extremely sharp. I wasn’t really sure what type of haircut I wanted and Lesley walked me through the entire thing, and I left the shop feeling great about my cut ! I’ll come again for sure !
