Excellent experience at Camden NoMa. The entire complex was gorgeous and the staff was great. I would absolutely recommend checking them out.My partner and I toured 6 different apartment buildings and Camden had the nicest individual apartments of all the buildings we toured. Before getting into that, I want to mention how exceptional the customer service was. The leasing agent who took us on our tour was Dara Tucker and it was the most comfortable I have ever felt touring an apartment. Dara was very friendly and super helpful. She showed us 3 different units and all of the buildings amenities and really made us want to move there. After we finished our tour, Camden became our #1 choice. The pros: the kitchens were the best ones we saw all day by far, the modern feel and huge island were a major draw. The patio on the first floor apartment we toured was huge and private. The room with a glass wall was strange but added something unique to the apartment that we actually really liked. The buildings amenities are everything you’d expect from luxury apartments and I could’ve totally seen myself hanging out in the courtyard on summer nights with friends. The negative for us were the “dog parks.” The parks are really tiny and we probably wouldn’t use them because we have a bigger dog.We decided not to choose Camden NoMa to move into and the only reason why was because we needed a different location. NoMa is a great area and close to Union Market, but we really wanted to live within walking distance of where we work.
Great place to live. I’m loving it here. So many amazing staffs. The concierge are very awesome and professional. I hope this never changes!
This place has felt like home since day one. The concierge Teddy is an amazing asset to the building. He has a very great personality, efficient, and helps me feel more at home. Hopefully someone in management sees this so he can get rewarded for his hard work and consistent dedication of excellence.
Camden NoMa is absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing! They were professional, extremely informative and very respectful and kind. That was a plus for me! I loved everything about the entire complex! Very peaceful. I recommend Camden NoMa 100 percent.
This has been the most well managed building I have ever lived in. I can say that I before forming a rental relationship I do my research. Camden NoMa has exceeded my expectations. Firstly you are not just another resident, they take time to know who you are! The experience I had when first toured is the same to this day a year later. The team always make us, myself and my dog welcome. It amazes me every just how they go the extra mile to take care of residents. My friends share the same sentiment when they visit. Maintenance team exceptional! They are very polite and are very quick to get this done. The building is well kept and the amenities are amazing. I can see myself continuing living here for a really long time. Thank you Camden for making my living here that much sweeter.I would definitely recommend!
This is by far the best and well-managed Camden complex I’ve been to!!I started my apartment search back in early August and was assisted by Jasmin on my tour. She is such a breath of fresh to speak to and well-knowledgeable in her role. I highly recommend this apartment complex, not only do they offer beautiful apartments and amenities but have an amazing and helpful staff to match. 10/10
I don’t think I’m going to move out of this apartment unless I bought a house. The staff are very professional. The whole place is beautiful. It’s quite expensive but it’s worth every penny
I went for a tour, put down what I thought was a deposit, found that they only had an ADA unit available, they refused to give me my money back. I called multiple times, Mikala was nice and cool at first, but then became rude and unresponsive. I asked to have this issue escalated to HQ and received NOTHING. I paid damn near 600 bucks for absolutely nothing. I am livid and am currently looking into legal options. No one reached out, called me, etc. I am so glad that I did not live here.
I relocated to California and throughout the entire process I was not able to visit the property. This made it hard not being able to see the apartment before signing a lease. Believe it when I tell you it was the ultimate virtual experience! The staff was so responsive and helpful. Each time I reached out for something else it was always a great experience. They are super attentive made sure all my needs were met. It did not stop there, when I moved it was nothing short of what I expected. The staff was amazing! They were very helpful. The concierge team made even helped me with a few boxes I had delivered ahead of time. What?! The cleanliness, maintenance and staff response has rivaled that of a hotel level response and AMEX Platinum services. The safety is amazing, no worries walking through the building 2-3AM or making my way to a late night run. This has been my Cheers living choice -- a place where everyone knows your name and ALWAYS greeted with a hello and a smile. I made the right choice! Thanks Camden.
The staff here is amazing the apartments are good quality. Excellent value for the money. Convenient location and easy to get around. The staff is very responsive to request and concerns. Great place to live.
Update- I also emailed them as indicated in my earlier review and no response was received. You’d think they would being calling me to get this resolved.
Great and friendly staff! Very responsive to any service requests or leasing questions. Great amenities that they continuously maintain and keep updated!
Mikayla Coley was attentive, professional and very informative. She gave us an awesome tour and was very energetic and organized. I am happy with my tour.
I’ve been a resident of Camden NoMa for nearly four years. The team does a great job managing the property. All service requests are taken care of promptly and the building is always clean. I am most grateful for Eleazar on the concierge team. Eleazar is kind, engaging and always extremely helpful. He takes great care of the residents and guests. We’re really fortunate to have him looking out for us!
I have been living in Camden NoMa Apartments for 2 years now and have had an exceptional experience. The staff and welcoming team has gone above and beyond to be helpful and as accommodating as possible. Special shout out to Eleazar Greene, one of the lead concierge persons who has gone out of his way from day one to make me feel like a part of the Camden family. Hes amazing!
Eleazar is the Awesome and so caring. He makes living here @ Noma a Joy!
We lived in Camden NoMa for over six years. They never lost a package! Even in the days of COVID, when folks were burying the concierges with incoming. The apartments are virtually noise proof. Layouts are great, and management was always responsive. Staff like Richard from maintenance and Duncan and Eleazar on the concierge desks are nothing less than amazing! Neighborhood is great. Many of the staff became more like family and friends than Camden employees. Even when we had some issues, management was professional and worked with us. If we ever move back to the District, we will look for a place at Camden NoMa before looking anywhere else!
Incredible community, new, modern, sophisticated and well-equipped building. But, the highlight, however, is the service. Michelle and Ryan were amazing, providing all necessary support during the entire leasing process.
Amber was great made my visit very welcoming as If I was already a resident. Unit looked great, clean, no foul smells nor mold, I mean totally superb. Definitely putting in my application as we speak. Recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone. Thanks Amber
I am yet to learn and remember names, but the staff on phase I were really helpful, in addition to Sait, Michelle, and Ryan who made the leasing process swift and excellent. Thank you all for a seamless move in. I am already hoping to live here longer if life keeps me in DC! Best wishes with taking care with current and prospective residents as you did/do for me.
My wife and I moved into Camden NoMa last summer and have had a great experience! The building is new, amenities are plentiful, and the staff is attentive. Plus, it’s a great value for the location close to everything and access to public transportation. Very happy here!P.S. Eleazer and the front desk staff are great and really friendly!
Id be very careful about which unit you sign up to live in here. My apartment faced the street (6th floor, Pierce St) and the street noise is almost unbearable. The garbage/recycling trucks come all day and night because this is zoned as a commercial space as opposed to residential. Although I belief the building is generally overpriced, Id pay more to have a balcony unit to protect myself from the sirens, dumpsters, and tow trucks if I could do it again. The community itself has a lot of benefits. I really have enjoyed utilizing the roof, the dog park (the neighborhood is very seedy and this makes me feel safer at night), the gaming rooms are fun, the gyms are nice, and the concierges are always very friendly. You can think of it as a cruise ship I guess. A lot of amenities and fun to be had in the building itself outside of your room/apt.Another watch out is that the fruit flies in the summer are so bothersome. Not sure if this is a problem in every apartment but Camden does not provide you with any window screens. This means that once you crack a window, bugs come in and stay in.Finally, its nice that the NOMA train station is near by, along with Union Station making it a prime location for frequent visits to Baltimore, NYC, etc. However, theres pretty much nothing to do in this neighborhood aside from go to the grocery store or WunderGarten. Depending on how often youre willing to commute to bars/restaurants Id take that into consideration.Enjoy!
Find a new home is stressful, but the staff at Camden NoMa made the search process so seamless. The concierge staff was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival to the property and my tour was guided by Dennis, who was not only knowledgeable about the property but also the surrounding community! I had a wonderful experience at Camden NoMa, and the property was beautiful with great amenity space! Highly recommend looking at this property when looking for a new home in the DC area!
Today I had an appointment with the leasing office concerning my options for lease renewal and potential apartment transfer (I’ve been with the building 2 1/2 years . I was honestly a bit anxious about how it all works, but Amber Johnson made the entire appointment seamless and truly put my desires first. There was no pressure or confusing terminology. She was knowledgeable and very much let me guide the conversation with what I wanted. I ended up leaving with exactly what I had hoped for: a bigger apartment and another 14 month lease with a community I’ve come to really appreciate. I just want to say thank you again to Ms. Johnson and the entire Camden staff.
I have to give a huge shout-out to Sait in the leasing office. My lease was up for renewal last week, and I was sincerely impressed by how courteous and responsive he was during the process. He went out of his way to help me and to answer all of my questions. Thank you so much, Sait - youre an asset to this community!
I recently visited Camden NoMa and was impressed with the buildings and grounds. Everything was beautifully maintained and very inviting. And it is in a fabulous location - a short walk to many DC attractions. There were various amenities to enjoy from swimming to virtual sports. It is a spacious and modern facility with a very friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend checking it out!
Camden came highly recommended by one of my good friends and now I see why. Sure, there are many nice buildings to choose from in NoMa, but the staff is what really sets Camden Noma apart from the competition. My leasing experience with Amber was nothing short of outstanding. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. I look forward to calling Camden NoMa home.
My living experience here at Camden NoMa has been amazing. Always being greeted by the Camden Staff with smiles and professionalism. I want to give a special shout out and THANKS to Matt for making my apartment home simply the BEST IN TOWN!!
Well there is a lot that I can say about Eleazar, Eleazar has been here since I moved into Noma phase 1 four years ago. I transferred to phase 2 because Eleazar moved to that side & I know he will continue make sure me and my family are taken care of with any issues that may come up. He really is the best and the main reason that me and so many others stay so long. He’s like family please don’t ever leave us!
I’m currently in the search for a new place to relocate; and this might be the place. It’s in a great area of the city, and the staff here is amazing. My tour guide Dennis was very welcoming and thorough throughout the tour; and was kind enough to offer any help if I decided to move in as he lives there as well. Camden NoMa is a great place.
Ive been a resident of Camden Noma for almost two years and I couldnt be happier. The apartments are larger than just about any you will find in the city and are priced very well for their size. My friends are always amazed at all the amenities - lounge, game room, private dining room, rooftop, pools, fitness centers. The management, leasing and maintenance staff are all top notch. We also have 24-hour concierge service. Eleazar is our day concierge and you couldnt ask for a more engaging, accommodating, knowledgeable or helpful person to interact with every day. If youre looking for a new apartment, I highly recommend Camden Noma.
We moved in 2 months ago and wanted to wait to share my feedback. Customer service was the make reason we choose Camden. The team was very helpful and personable when we first toured. After living here that service continued, they have been very helpful from the front desk to the leasing staff. Moving from out of state can be so hard and I can say I’m confident that I made the right decision. I feel at home. Thank you so much.
Noma is great place to live and the staff is Great but the real Reason my parents & I picked this place is because of the way that Eleazar has treated us since we toured. This treatment has continued during our time living at Noma. He makes you feel welcome every time even when you may feel like you are bothering him because he’s busy with helping all the other residents. I love how he still makes time to acknowledge you and see how you’re doing he’s a true Professional!
Great leasing staff and informative tour
I recently visited the property in search of a new home for myself. I had a tour with Dennis who was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, personable and just an overall great leasing agent. He went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and show me the exact home that met all of my preferences.I highly recommend this gorgeous property— especially working with the leasing agent, Dennis!
I’ll be moving out soon, but I just wanted to say that my experience with camden has been amazing, excellent customer service. Maintenance team is A1!! Love them, and the leasing team (especially Mickey and Michelle, their new manager) is fantastic, very personable.
My experience with Matt Barr was absolutely outstanding. He showed the upmost professionalism and answered all of my questions. He made me fell very comfortable. I will definitely have any of my associates visit him.
We transferred to another Camden closer to work a few months ago and while we have zero regrets, we really miss the folks at Camden NoMa! The maintenance team is incredible, the concierge staff is lovely and the amenities are unparalleled! Loved the TWO roof top pools, fire pits and the ping pong table. Special shouts out to Gina whos been holding it down since I moved in in 2017 and Michelle/Matt who helped make the transfer process seamless!
Pros: The leasing team, at the property itself, was fantastic, responsive and professional at every turn. The units themselves are well-equipped, in a great location, and charge reasonable rates (for DC).Cons: Camden NoMa charges a $500, non-refundable admin fee, on top of the $75 application fee. On Tuesday, 2/16, the property manager, Michelle, informed me that I was approved for my apartment. Like most normal human beings with even a basic level of intelligence, I decided not to put all my eggs in one basket (e.g. I submitted applications to multiple complexes in DC) On Friday afternoon, fewer than 72 hours after being informed of the approval, I informed Camden Noma that I would not be moving FW with the leasing process because I received a much more attractive offer from one of Camdens DC competitors. That same Friday afternoon, the leasing team informed me that my $500 admin fee was non-refundable because it was used to take the apartment off the market... for fewer than 72 hours.I understand that property management companies must protect themselves in a competitive rental market, but I also think its totally ridiculous to charge a potential renter(who has not even viewed nor signed a lease) hundreds of dollars, during a pandemic, to do basically nothing. Reviewing a lease application is a standard and routine business process that requires no extraordinary effort or time investment. Why should I have to pay $500 additional dollars, on top of the $75 application fee, to get you to do your gd job? Also, when I attempted to contact Camdens regional manager to express my concerns, her OOO VM said she was returning on January 4... I called on February 19 if that gives you any indication of how serious Camden takes its tenants.
I have lived all over because of my work and I can say that Eleazar is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. He deals with me and my millions of requests lol & issues with such Care even while still dealing with a thousand other residents concerns. Thanks for always being there for me.
I’m very glad I choose Camden NoMa! From the reception staff, whom you interact with and see everyday, to the amenities and neighbors, Camden NoMa has met and many times, exceeded my expectations. Receptionists Geoffrey (he left :/), Eleazar and Duncan have helped me so much in the early days of moving in. They helped me send back my couch to FedEx and have always been helpful and nice.Camden NoMa is a great place to live!UPDATE 6/30/21 @ 9 am: Though I’ve appreciated the service at Camden NoMa the communication between the front office and the community is a two-star rating. A couple weeks ago NoMa was grueling with a kidnapping attempt, and several armed DEA and FBI agents were in the building. The complex sent a lackluster email that didn’t explain the safety of residents and provide any assurance.Additionally, about a week ago the building announced that water would be shut off after 10 pm for eight hours. It’s 9 am and the water is still shut off, with no communications for the front office. It’s like the front office can only access its systems in the office, when the front office should have the functionality to send emails to the community 24/7.Camden NoMa please fix these communication flaws, we deserve to know what’s impacting our neighborhood or community.UPDATE 6/30/21 @ 12 pm: Water is still out. You can wash your hands, but toilets are un-flushable. This is disgusting! There’s only been two emails from the front office, the last of which was sent at 10:30 am.
We lived at Camden NoMa for 3 years and 3 months and saw lots of transition. Just before Covid hit, I’d say, was peak Camden. Camden at its best, and some of what has caused its decline was out of managers‘ control like not being able to evict bad residents. Some they may not be able to enforce like persistent Covid related rule breaking; although, pre Covid, management did fine rule breaking, which was effective. Some, I feel, they could control, but there’s a failure of leadership. I don’t know ... I do know 3 things.1) Matthew in the management office has been my sanity, my saving grace. He has always heard my concerns and acted on them without judgement and with courtesy. Camden NoMa loses a lot of its best staff to other Camden opportunities, which has been great to see good staff promoted. If Matthew left while I was still living at Camden NoMa, I may have submitted my notice to vacate soon after. This isn’t to say there aren’t other good people working there, but Matthew is really the gold standard.2) The maintenance, cleaning, and concierge staff deserve more than they get - whatever they get, they deserve more. We always give them new year cash tips, but $20 or so each per year from a few residents isn’t enough. I have a high enough GS rating and work for the government, and I get low annual performance bonuses. But I’m a civil servant... I expect that. These folks deserve more, especially Eleazar, Duncan, Orlando, the other guy that does the trash on Phase II, the women that have been cleaning Camden for 2+ years, and the head of the maintenance team - gosh, I’m sorry his name is slipping my mind (tall guy with dreadlocks that plays basketball with the young ones!). These folks have been there since the beginning and that takes passion and dedication. They deserve more recognition.3) If you’re young and not bothered by people being obnoxious weekly, pet owners not cleaning up after themselves, entitled and petty fights on the community portal, and petty theft, you’re gonna love Camden. It has a lot to offer, but these are some of the downsides. They built phase II to be quieter than phase I, but you’ll still hear people almost all the time always. Some nights you won’t be able to sleep until 2 or 4am or be woken up at 4 or 5am. There’s little that can be done because of the way noise travels and realities of reporting disturbances during those hours. Especially during non-Covid times, this building had a lot to offer that made that more bearable. We didn’t live in any of the other NoMa buildings, but from what I observed and heard over almost 3.5 years, Camden WAS one of the better ones.
We moved in 2 months ago and we are loving it here. The staff has been so helpful and such a joy to work with. We lived on NoMa for a few years and can say this has been one of the best experiences so far. Thank you Camden.
Literally want to share that I’m mildly obsessed with the professionalism and responsiveness of staff at CamdenNoMa. Anytime I have a concern, they treat it as top priority and they make it their business to personally know who you are. Michelle, the Building Manager, is sincere and personable and the Assistant Managers all possess qualities of regard and follow through. The maintenance team are thorough and there’s never anything too big or too small for them to address. I’m pleased thus far with the service and clean grounds here. Five star rating easily earned!-Adrian
Excellent service, property is well-maintained. Staff is friendly, concierge is always ready to help. I live at another Camden property but visiting friends at NoMa is like visiting a resort. Amenities are top-notch. If I need to move into the city, definitely will consider this one.
I visited the complex and Dennis DeVol was the most helpful leasing consultant i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The building was so beautiful and Dennis did a great job showing it off. 10/10 please give Dennis a raise ASAP.
Its difficult to overstate what a positive experience weve had renting at Camden NoMa throughout the past two years. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, and everyone on staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind throughout our time there. We’re very glad that we made the decision to live at Camden, and I would recommend it to literally anyone.
Great amenities! We love it here. Everyone is super friendly. We lived in a few places here in NoMa and Navy Yard and none to compare. We definitely reccomend.
The Building was very well maintained and the customer service was outstanding! Mickey was kind, knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions without hesitation!
I have been living at Camden NoMa for over 3 years now and am so glad I decided to move in here. Over the years, the neighborhood has transformed and now has lots of great places to eat, beautiful community spaces, and is in a perfect location. Full disclosure, I used to be a member of the Camden NoMa team a while back, and am now working at a different Camden building. I have been asked about 2 million times why I choose to stay living at here instead of moving to the building where I work now...the short answer is Camden NoMa is the best place to live in DC.The amenities are plentiful and perfectly designed. There are 2 beautiful gyms, various community rooms you can hang out in or reserve for events, they have a bunch of elevators so you wont be impacted if one is ever out of order or when someone is moving in/out, beautiful views from the rooftop, and the courtyard is peaceful and filled with colorful flowers. The apartments here were built with good quality materials and have really held up. The hard floors are perfect for easy cleaning and the kitchen appliances are great too. All the little bells and whistles like the built-in Bluetooth speaker system and the soft-closing feature on all the drawers and cabinets really take the place to the next level. The double pane glass on my windows makes my apartment virtually sound-proof.Richard (maintenance supervisor) does an amazing job of leading the maintenance team here and really makes sure things get done right. I have never had to make the same request more than once. The few maintenance requests I have had were taken care of quickly. The housekeeping team keeps the building spotless and will smile and wave as you pass them in the morning.Josh (community manager) has built a spectacular team in the leasing office that will impress you and probably become your new favorite people. Everyone is always very approachable and ready to help you. They regularly invite you to have some coffee, ask about your day, pet your puppies, and take the time to treat you like a friend.Eleazar (lead concierge) and does an excellent job of juggling a huge team and the needs of the residents in the building. He seems to know all 1000+ people that live here on a first name basis, their schedules, and what theyre working on. He really has an amazing talent when it comes to connecting with people and making them feel like part of the Camden NoMa family. If you just want to live at a nice building or get a good deal somewhere, then theres a lot of places to find that. If you want to live at a place that is really special where you can make amazing memories, be part of a cool community, and really feel like you made the right choice...then Camden NoMa is it.Hope this helps!
Let me start by saying that I’ve lived in a lot of different apartment complexes throughout the DMV. But I’ve never been more impressed than I was when I toured Camden NoMa. When I finally made the commitment to move into the city, I was unsure about the experience I was embarking on. But I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of Camden NoMa. The service you reserve from the leasing team and maintenance team is superior to anything I’ve experienced, at any apartment complex. Unfortunately, I had to move out of the district, but I stayed with Camden. I still like Camden, and have recommended it to all my friends. But I sure do miss Camden NoMa.
I have lived here for 9 months and truly have zero complaints. The property is kept clean and nice. It’s not a loud community. The amenities are great. The staff is my favorite part, Gina in the office is such a lovely person to work with. She answers any question you have and makes the whole rental process super seamless. The front desk staff is so accommodating and Duncan addresses me by name and says good morning everyday. I highly highly recommend this apartment complex to live.
I wasn’t able to view Apt bc of COVID. Thanks so much to Mickey in leasing for the help. Nice apt in a nice neighborhood.
I was looking for a venue to host an event I was putting together and Id heard good things about the Camden. Upon arrival I was greeted by employee Mickey, who was more than happy to give me a tour of the facility. She was very knowledgeable about the building and its resources, and she helped me with everything I needed to arrange my event. The atmosphere, the resources, and the overall customer service by the staff are the reasons Ill be coming back for more events to come.
We have lived here for the past 3 years and absolutely love it. The rooftop pools, friendly staff, and quick maintenance calls are fantastic. The front desk staff is friendly, a lot of different workers come and go, but the main one who has been here a while is Eleazar. He is by far the most friendly and helpful concierge person this apartment has. I wish everyone they hire was like him! Some people dont smile or really look at you, but Eleazar always takes it the next step and truly gets to know you. Highly recommend this place!
I love living at Camden NoMa! The concierge Geoffery and the leasing staff, especially Mickey, have always been very helpful! It’s a beautiful building in an amazing location.
Prospective tenants: you do not want to live here. While the units are stylish and the front desk and leasing staff are very friendly, that is where the positives end. The building is poorly managed and maintained. Weed and cigarette smoke fill the halls and come into your unit day and night. Make sure you walk several floors so you can see the dog urine stains throughout the hallway and smell what it is like to live in a cloud of second-hand smoke. And just know that if and when you raise these issues with management, its response will be that these are “community problems” that tenants should work on because it’s not management’s responsibility. So beware and explore other options in NoMa.
I am a resident of this property and have been here for two years and what I love about my apartment is that it is very spacious and lots of closet space but most of all I love our leasing office especially Matt Barr he is always has a pleasant attitude and makes all my experiences much better and he definitely gets it all done for me anytime I asked him something referring to my apartment KUDOS FOR CANDEM AT NOMA THIS IS THE REAL PLACE TO LIVE!!!!
Eleazar is Truly the best that Noma has to offer, I love every interaction I have with him!
My partner and I just moved into the Camden NoMa a little under a month ago. From our initial tour to our move-in day to now, we have been blown away by the quality, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of the entire Camden team. In particular, our leasing agent, Sait, has been amazing to work with. He was incredibly responsive, kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond for us. For example, the day of our self-guided tour, we accidentally spent all of our allotted time in the unit itself (gushing about how beautiful it was and arranging furniture in our minds!) As a result we did not have time to tour the rest of the building. Sait so kindly found us a time that afternoon we could come back and he personally showed us the rest of the building (which sealed the deal! We put our names down that day). Another example - after we had secured our unit and move-in date, we realized we hadn’t measured the counter height which we needed to purchase bar stools. We emailed Sait and he personally went to the unit to measure the height for us. Would highly recommend the Camden NoMa to anyone looking for an apartment in the area - the leasing office and building management are excellent, the location and neighborhood are wonderful, and the building itself is beautiful with tons of great amenities. Thank you Sait and the whole Camden team!!
I recently visited Camden NoMa to look at a new apartment and was impressed with my experience. Leasing Consultant Sait Solak was very professional and welcoming and addressed all my questions. It is a spacious and modern facility with great amenities. I highly recommend checking it out!
I went to this building because my friend rented out one of their recreational spaces for a birthday party. The building was super nice, classy decor and the room was very well suited for our needs. They had televisions, a pool table, a bar, mini fridge, and lots of couches so we could get comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mickey M. who helped us book the room, navigate the building, and find parking once we got there.
I’m moving soon and have heard much about the NoMa area, but after all the other buildings i toured, Camden was by-far the best experience I’ve had. The concierge was attentive and friendly, there was hot chocolate (I cannot stress that enough) and the leasing agent Mickey was beyond helpful, friendly and showed me what I believe to be an incredible building. Amenities are liiiiiiit, I love the shuffleboard in the living space. I plan on applying as soon as I get a time set. Might even get a puppy 🐶 too
I stopped in at Camden NoMa last week to look at a new apartment and was incredibly impressed with my experience! The building had some great amenities and the staff was really nice. I met with a man by the name of Dennis DeVol who was super inviting and helped walk me through my different options. Great staff and beautiful building!
Amazing place! Ive visited here quite a few times. Im kinda of envious of my friend. Place feels like a modern 5-star hotel. It has all the amenities you can think of, and service is top notch; lady at the front desk is awesome.
Mickey Mesgana the leasing agent was absolutely wonderful! She offered invaluable assistance when I was looking to move both within the community and transferring to another Camden property. Very professional and definitely contributed to my positive experience with the Camden.
I really enjoyed living here for the first few years after graduating college. The place has everything you would want as a new comer to DC. The facilities are kept clean, the neighborhood is nice and the staff is very accommodating. The housing office is exceptional at helping you find the right apartment that has everything you are looking for. Gina is especially helpful and made my entire experience at this location worthwhile.Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
Eleazar the concierge manager is the best in the city hands down. Even with staff that changes often they are still Amazing. He is always willing to help and Fix any issue that you have. He is awesome!
Ive lived in Camden NoMa for more than a year and I still think its the best place in DC! The concierge team is the best especially Eleazar. Hes always helpful with all things. The leasing office is also stellar including Gina--shes a rockstar. Highly recommend!
Very helpful. Worked with Dennis DeVol who was excellent and knowledgeable!
This property is AMAZING and well deserving of the 5 star rating. The crown jewel of the Camden line. If you are looking for a property in the middle of DC, close to the action but some place that feels like home merged with a 5 diamond hotel...Camden NoMa is your place to call home!
Ive lived here for over 2 years and absolutely love it. The building is clean, has lots of amenities, the staff is helpful and friendly - special shout out to Eleazar Greene!! Its awesome to come home and be greeted by a friendly face :)
I moved into Camden NoMa a couple of months ago and its been one of the best decisions Ive made in a while. I was apprehensive moving into a large high rise building after living in a quaint 4 unit building in Eastern Market for several years. But this place does not disappoint! Awesome kitchen and walk-in closet, amazing amenities (including cool resident events), close to all the things, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Thank you Camden NoMa for creating an environment and culture with awesome employees and great neighbors, truly making me feel at home. Much love!
Update: Ive lived at Camden NoMa for almost two years and Ive lived in three different apartments (personal choice to transfer around). From the beginning the Camden staff have all been excellent! No one place will ever be perfect all the time, but they do a darn good job being almost there! This review is specifically for a recent move within the building. The entire leasing staff were awesome and patient with my million questions. If my main leasing agent was not available, the other members in the office were always there to step in. Maintenance was prompt, helpful and respectful with my laundry list of requests after moving in, even during this pandemic, and even Duncan at the front desk went out of his way to make my move easy. I just wanted to give everyone a shout and a job well done!-------------I havent moved in just yet, but after seeing the reviews online and the floor plans, the amenities and the location, I took a chance to go get a tour. Stephanie helped me. She kept it real about the pros and cons of each apartment that would be available in my price range and moving date and the suffice to say - the tour did not disappoint. We found a few that tickled my fancy and I ended up applying that same day, got approved and now Im just waiting to move! Im so excited. Gina checked me out at the end of my application process and both she and Stephanie were rays of sunshine making the process smooth. Ill update this review after I move-in and settle down, but 5 stars so far!
Camden NoMa is hands down one of the best apartment communities in Washington, DC! I lived here for over 3 years and have nothing but great things to say. The staff is amazing, the location is very ideal (a short distance from the NoMa metro station, Union Station, and the Capitol), and the amenities are second to none. You can’t go wrong renting here!
I just moved into Camden NoMa and so far the experience has been stellar. Fhanillia was my leasing agent and I could not have been happier. She was super helpful and made my move, which was international, super easy. The concierge also made me feel welcomed and help me get set up and going. The building is great and located in what seems like a pretty good location (granted I am new to the city). Already hit the gym and was impressed with it - prob one of the nicest apartment gyms Ive seen, and there are two. Rooftop is really nice and has a bomb view of the city. Easy access to grocery stores and the metro, which is like a block away. All in all, Im really excited about living here and definitely feel like I made the right decision to call Camden NoMa home!
My boyfriend and I have lived here for two years and just renewed our lease for another year! The staff are always so friendly and willing to help with anything. Special shoutout to Eleazar at the front desk who works during the day and is very helpful! We love living here.
By appearance this is a nice looking apartment building, but don’t be fooled!!! The elevators for half of the building are BROKEN a large percentage of the time... meaning you must use the other side of the building’s elevators. This is a MASSIVE complex, so that is a very big deal. There have been no concessions in rent because of this... in fact, it just keeps going up! The building also has problems keeping unwanted visitors out... many residents post on the message board about either successful or unsuccessful break and entry attempts into their apartments on a REGULAR BASIS. And there is NO response from management. I understand liability, but still. In fact, a tenant recently posted that someone was able to turn the electronic key in their door (luckily they had the deadbolt on), which leads me to believe a staff member may be trying to gain entry to residents’ homes. The security features look good on this building but they are effectively useless... it is SO easy to gain entry into the upper floors of this place because the concierge are over worked and never paying attention. I understand that no apartment is perfect, but this place is all lip service and they are defensive about it when you try to make suggestions (as I’m sure they will be when they comment on this post!). This building has been thru a few managers recently & the new one doesn’t seem up for the job. I’d advise you take your money elsewhere...
Camden NoMA is a wonderful place to live. The building is beautiful and clean, with wonderful amenities and excellent staff. Gina at the leasing office made it so easy to find the perfect apartment and move-in. I was moving from Florida to DC and Gina used face time to show me multiple apartments and find me the perfect one. My apartment - a cozy studio with a sleeping nook - feels spacious and comfortable. The studio has tons of storage, big windows, and overlooks a lovely dog park. Best of all, it’s incredibly quiet. I truly love living at Camden.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Camden NoMa in search of a new apartment. Searching for a new residence, especially as a young, single woman, can be a daunting task. However, Dennis DeVol was both professional and accommodating, providing me with a great experience! I would recommend Camden NoMa to any of my friends and/or family!
I toured Camden NoMa yesterday and it was amazing. Great amenities and spacious apartments in a very convenient location. Ask for Dennis DeVol, he was the best! He really showed me the value and sense of community Camden NoMa has to offer.
Camden NoMa was hands down, by far the best apartment building I have ever lived in - and I truly believe it will be the best I will ever live in. The great location (close to the redline, grocery stores, dog parks and Union Market) and incredible amenities (two rooftop pools, dog park, game room, lounge areas and more) is what initially sold me on this place. But after three years of living there I realized it was the attention to detail that their staff provides residents which kept me there until I had to move to the west coast. If you have any issue, day or night, their team is on it immediately. More so, they don’t just provide you the services you need - they genuinely care about their residents and that is clearly conveyed through the love they put into the building and work. Specifically, Matt Barr and Eleazar were extremely helpful during my time living there. Matt went above and beyond when I needed assistance in the leasing office, such as renewing my lease last minute. And Eleazar even befriended my dog walker, family and friends. His face at the front desk always brightened my day. Moving to another apartment in California has reminded me that the beautiful Camden Noma building and it’s staff are truly one of a kind and residents are lucky to live there.
I transferred from another Camden property about a month ago, and I’m glad I chose to stay with Camden. Camden NoMa is just incredible. The building is beautiful and unique, the location is convenient, and the neighborhood is super dog friendly.Everyone working in the building, from the leasing office, to the concierges, to the maintenance folks and the cleaning staff, are welcoming and professional, and keep things running smoothly.Special thanks to Kevin, Johanna and Ryan in leasing. They’ve gone above and beyond a on a number of occasions in helping me get things set during the move, and the same goes for Eleazar and Ann at the front desk.
Absolutely love this place. The entire staff were extremely helpful with our move in process. The amenities are awesome including two rooftop pools, and two gyms. The view on the rooftop is sweet- you get a perfect view of the capitol just a few blocks away. The unit itself is clean, full of light, and the studio floor plan is perfect for us. We love how close it is to the grocery store, the metro, and theres a yoga studio two blocks away. Im so glad we made the choice to live here. Special shout out to Johanna Hamilton for making this the most positive experience!!! She ROCKS!
Love this place. Amenities are fantastic (2 pools and gyms), but the Staff is even better. My leasing agent Sait was amazing. 5 stars
Stopped by this weekend to look for my first apartment and was very impressed! The staff, especially leasing agent Dennis DeVol, was super helpful. Will definitely be returning
The staff, experience and attention to your needs as a resident are there. Overall, youll notice that once you establish a rapport with the team downstairs, theyll be more than willing to talk to you and share with you the community theyre trying to build. Gina at the leasing office is great with people and also great with trying to think for the residents. Shes attentive to detail and also knows how to establish a great relationship with people. I would recommend going to her for any concerns.
I don’t usually write reviews, but Eleazar has been so awesome to me and my Family and friends. Thanks for always being there for all of us.
Greatest apartments in DC and Amber was a huge help with our search.
I have been a resident of Camden Noma since 2017 (and now starting my 3rd lease term). The building is wonderful, but its the AMAZING staff that work in the building that make it better. Special shout out to Gina K. in leasing who has helped us through 2 renewals now. She is so thoughtful and really cares about ensuring we have a great experience and that in the end, we get what we really need. The maintenance team, front desk reception, cleaning and all other team members at Camden have all made our time here great. Were really well taken care of - so thank you Camden Noma!
The front office at Camden NoMa is extremely helpful. They’ve always been professional, quick, and kind. Just yesterday Gina K. pulled through when my guest needed help. Thank you for everything, team!
This is a great community. My wife and I are very happy living here. The only thing that doesnt make sense to me is the two-of-everything arrangement. I wish there was one bigger gym, one bigger pool, one bigger dog park, etc.
When looking for an apartment in DC I found a lot of the complexes were the same with what they had to offer. Pool, Gym, public spaces, etc. so when I went into Camden NoMa the service I had from Gina Karbowski was what set this building apart. Thank you for your attention to detail and making me feel at home!
My girlfriend and I love our apartment here. It is pricey but it is the standard for how new the building is in the area and even so got more sq feet than anywhere else in the neighborhood in my budget. Underground garage, clean common areas, efficient package handling, no bugs, friendly and helpful maintenance, and very helpful leasing office. Happy with my decision to live here.
I’ve lived at Camden NoMa for almost a year now and could not be happier with this building! From the incredibly friendly, responsive and reliable maintenance staff to the pleasant and helpful concierge, I could not ask for a better place to live. Everyone in the office (especially Gina and Lindsay!) are super friendly and genuinely care about taking care of you. They work hard to make sure you get the best deal, are happy with things at Camden and actually care to get to know you as a person. The apartment are comfortable, updated, and the amenities are gorgeous! The 24hr concierge and key access makes me feel safe and comfortable! Nothing but positive experiences and praises for Camden NoMa :)
Love Camden NoMa! Everyone in the leasing office is amazing- Daniel, America, and Emily to name a few. Security is really good. My apartment was brand new and nice. No major noise complaints. I highly recommend this complex. Close to everything- metro, restaurants, and downtown.
If I could put zero stars, I would. My experience here was HORRIBLE. Management was not flexible at all. I dont recommend staying here. After paying a security deposit and flying 19 hours, they refused to give us the keys because I dont have an SSN to get a money order despite the fact that I already mentioned that I didnt have an SSN and that I couldnt get a money order and if theres anything else I can do, with NO reply. They refused cash, online payments, credit card payment, or to wait less than 12 hours for me to get a check. Again, horrible experience.
Just wanted to leave a review and express how great my last year of living here have been! The facilities are always kept extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. Gina, one of the leasing agents, has gone from helping me find my new home to becoming a friend. She has definitely made the transition to Washington that much easier. If you are in the market for a new place to live, definitely check out Camden NoMa and be sure to schedule a tour with Gina!
