10/10! My car sputtered and died on a Friday night. I called Peters at 7:30 Saturday morning asking if I had it towed, could they please take a look on Monday? Tow truck dropped my car off there at 10:30, by 12:30 ON SATURDAY (!) they had fixed my compressor, belt, and replaced my brakes (which was a much needed add-on per the inspection I almost failed...8 months ago). They were awesome and I would definitely go back (but hope that I dont have to).

I highly suggest Peters. My friend suggested them to me and I have always had a great experience. They get the job done right and help you make the best informed decisions for your repairs.

Peter and his son are so awesome. I am from Maine and found them on a whim when I need emergency work on my vehicle. I bring my vehicles to them only. I took my car here at 4p on weekday (an hour before they closed) to have them check out a noise with my breaks. I wasnt expecting to get it fixed that day, but they took the car in right away and replaced my breaks, callipers, topped all my fluids and an oil change on the spot. Will definitely be coming back! Called the shop in the morning. Told them that at least one of the brake lines was leaking. The person at the other end asked me to bring it in, but they couldnt promise a same day turn around. I wasnt expecting one either. Dropped the car off a couple of hours later, and was told that itll be ready by the afternoon of the following day. Received a phone call a couple off hours later informing me that the car was already fixed! Went and picked it up, and really enjoyed talking to Peter. He showed me where the brake lines had rusted, and how they had repaired them following the state code. Talked cars in general. Overall, an excellent experience. And yes, the brakes are very much fixed. At the end of the day the quality of the job is the litmus test, and I couldnt detect any issues. They just a acquired a new regular customer. Oh, and the cost was within my expectations as I had done some research. Definitely honest folks.

We highly recommend Peters Auto Repair! We were on our way out of town and had a flat tire. After changing to our spare, we needed the tire repaired. After calling several tire stores and stopping at another, we were told it would be several hours before our tire could be plugged. We called Peter, he said bring it in and we were in and out of there in about 20 minutes. They plugged the hole, put the tire back on the car and didnt even want to charge us! We left a large tip and we were on our way! Two very nice men! Go see them for your car maintenance and repairs!!

I went to this shop after reading reviews on google and found owner very friendly and nice.I giving low stars because prices are not transparent. Outside the shop there is add posted showing Breaks,pads and Rotors replacement car for $289 (approximately) with free oil change. I asked twice for price before giving my car and when went to pick up the car after 4 hours bill came out $580. When asked for why high price, owner mentioned price outside is for front tires only and not for all 4 tires. I was very disappointed. On top of this i was not given any receipt for the car work instead was told to come next week to collect receipt. I have never seen this kind of response anywhere else before. On name of receipt i only got credit receipt for which i paid and on back of credit receipt it is written by pen Oil Change due.I dont think i will go back there ever again even if i have free oil change. If i have to spend $580, i will better go to showroom and get replacement car for that time as well.I am not sure if this is regular occurrence or just happened to me but please double check the prices before giving car to the shop.

Excellent service. Small shop owned by family father and son, and they do a darn good job. Very fair, if you dont have to spend, they will tell you. Very good people. Unlike shops that do auto work and inspection and sell gas, these guys dont do anything of that sort. Just fix your car for the best price possible. Great service and fair price

I went on my lunch break to fix a leaking tire. They were extremely fast, I think it took under 10 minutes to repair my tire, and fix the pressure level on all the other tires. To top it off, they charged me nothing! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

They will rip you off if you are in situation. They will charge 4 or 5 times of normal charge if they know you have no other option. I checked the parts price at Amazon after the service and felt bad that I got ripped off by them - they charged almost 5 times of the price at amazon for the same parts and long hour on labor. Make sure to check price elsewhere before committing for service there. I should have taken the car to the dealer instead.

Ive been here three times already and going back again Monday for an oil change and tune up. I must say its refreshing to find fare priced auto mechanics with fast and acurate service. These guys are great and I recommend them to everyone I know in the area. Even when theres something above them like a transmission problem they steared me to the people they use which those shops were honest. You cant go wrong with this father and son business!

I was traveling on business and had trouble with my 2011 Camaro. Peter and his son Nick dropped everything first thing in the morning and prioritized changing my throttle body in time for me to get back on the road that afternoon. They even loaned me one of THEIR cars for the day AND proactively followed up with me the next day to be sure that the car ran well on my trip back to Long Island, NY.If I lived in the Waltham Area these guys would be my regular mechanics.

Best auto repair place I have been too, I highly recommend them.

These guys are honest and awesome. Had a problem with car heat shield, the screw went off while driving and shield started making rattling noise. They were the closest and took my car to their shop. The problem was fixed by them in 5 minutes and they havent charges a single penny for the job.
