I got not only a GREAT price but also prompt quality work. I ordered shocks and strut assemblies online to do the work myself after Honda Village quoted $800 for rear shocks (with a straight face) and $1500 for front struts. I got the struts for $120 each on rockauto and did the rear shocks myself. One look at the struts up front and I knew that I needed help.Francisco quoted a great price, took my car in the next morning and completed the work before noon. I got a call shortly after the work began regarding the sway bar linkage. I suspected that it would need to be replaced. The day before I got a quote on that exact part at the dealer for three times what Francisco charged me, for Moog parts.I sold cars for almost 30 years and I do some of my own work. I had quotes all over the place from $700 to $500... I had one that was a little bit under $300 that was for labor but that did not include the sway bar linkage which would have come up and probably been more expensive...When the work was completed while the car was still on the lift Francisco did an undercarriage inspection with me pointing out some things that I found to be very valuable.If youre shopping price for routine maintenance its going to be hard to beat this shop. As far as the quality of the work, I couldnt be more pleased, I watched the work being done and driving the car after completion was like night and day.Alan also assisted Francisco. Theyre both skilled and very friendly.

Francisco is an incredible mechanic. My LR3 broke down on Comm Ave and he stopped to help. He diagnosed a cracked thermostat housing and failing water pump right there on the side of the road. He had my truck towed to his shop and it was fixed within a day. His price was very competitive with the normal LR specific shop in Malden that I have used in the past. JMF Auto is a great local resource and I will be using them in the future to keep my 180k mile Land Rover on the road. Thanks!
