The best auto repair shop ever!My car started acting a little funny, especially on a highway – first I thought it was the tires, they had very little tread left so I had them replaced. I also had the alignment done twice by two different tire shops (the first one didn’t have the right tires in stock but I had the alignment program with them, and the second one said the alignment was off again). Unfortunately, even after putting on brand new tires and doing the alignment the car still felt very insecure, especially at high speeds – it was so bad I was scared of changing lanes. The dealership said the closest appointment was in 2 weeks, so I called up Five Star Auto. Not only they took my car in right away – they also immediately found the problem, ordered the right parts and almost finished repairs on the same day! Turns out that the two tire shops that supposedly did the alignment only took my money – the bolts that were used to adjust the alignment were dead-welded into the frame due to rust for a long time, and no one has ever mentioned it to me every time I did the alignment. These guys managed to saw the bolts off (it wasn’t an easy task as they were in a tight space so they could only use a small hand saw), replace the control arms and do the alignment (properly this time!), and all that in 1.5 days! They even came out on Saturday to finish the job because I needed the car for the weekend. In the process, they gave me a ride back to the office, sent me some pictures and drew a diagram to explain what was wrong with my car - Ive never seen such attention and professionalism from any car shop before. The price they charged for labor was VERY good - I would have ended up paying 3 times that much at the dealership. Overall, it was the best experience ever - I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a quick, professional and honest service. 5 stars out of 5!

I’m glad I found this place. They replaced my front bumper, and repaired rear bumper and a number of other dents through the car. I’m very happy with the job and how the car looks now. The people are very good and professional. I really recommend this place.

I had a car accident one and half month ago, and found theCARS from google map since it is close to where I live, and have very high review score. At the beginning I had a little bit hesitation, but decided to call them. Im glad I did. Mike and Vlad are very nice guy, easy to talk with, and answer your questions quickly. They did very good job on my car, and stood on my side when dealing with my insurance. Its been a week since I got my car back. The car run just as smoothly as before. My dad and I have been coming here for probably over a decade. We have gotten every kind of work done here (my dad had an engine installed in his car here) and the pricing is always fair, the repairs are made in a timely manner, and the service is great. This was the most astonishingly awful service experience Ive ever had. I brought my car in this July to be repaired. The at-fault drivers insurance offered to cover a rental for as long as was necessary. We got an estimate, and then a supplement, that estimated the repairs would take 21 business days to complete. They ended up having my car for a full 54 BUSINESS DAYS. They provided no valid reason for the extreme delays. At one point they claimed a part was on back order, but the insurance company found dozens of that part around Boston.Vlad, the owner, went on vacation for 3+ weeks and no one in the shop was capable of answering the phone or giving reasonable responses to any questions. There were a full two weeks where they were unable to tell me what the basic status of my car was. Emails and voice mails were never returned.The insurance company really tried to help me out but with no credible reason for the delays, they cut me off after 35 business days of rental car coverage. Vlad told me not to return the rental car and that he would have his lawyer talk to them. Of course, that failed because theCARS Company is clearly at fault in my opinion.In the end, I sued theCARS Company in small claims court for the $800+ I paid for the rental car. We settled in mediation for half the amount because I couldnt stay in court all day. The court ordered Vlad to pay me by yesterday and I still havent received a check. He claims its in the mail but I highly doubt it after this awful experience.Stay away if you want to maintain your sanity.

I had a car accident last year and by referral took it to Thecar company. The manager, Vlad told me that would take 5/6 days to fix it (which I know is not possible, but hoped for 2 weeks). He went on vacation for 2 weeks, and Michael the other manager did not know anything about my car. They kept my car for 34 days, and we called couple of times to tow it to another body shop and Michael say no. Just like that. I depend on my car 100% to work and my policy did not cover rental at the time, so I paid rental out of my pocket for 34 days. I never heard of 34 days to fix a car, I had 2 other crashes and the most I waited was 2 weeks.
