Wow these guys are great. Stopped in here today looking to replace all 4 of my tires because I had a huge bubble on one and needed to drive home 60 miles away with my wife and daughter (who were at the childrens hospital around the corner, not with me, getting an mri).. they didnt have the size tire in stock. They recommended a couple other places to try to help but those places (among others that I called) didnt have the size available and/or the other places were simply booked and couldnt help.. so I asked if they would swap it out with my spare tire and he gladly did. He would not take any money from me either! Class act!! Thank you so much!!!

Switched over winter tires & wheels to summer tires & wheels. Very efficient, checked balance. Had purchased both from Hogan. One wheel was found to have leaked out air during storage. Removed tire & polished rim. Fixed. Knowledgeable & very helpful local shop.

Garbage. Took my car in for new tires end of March, the guy with the goatee that drives all the cars into the Alignment Station hopped in a bunch of vehicles, Including mine without a mask. The Alignment was only 20min, didnt find out until later, a proper alignment takes much longer. On top of that ONE tire was put on backwards and TWO others are leaking. They also told me I didnt have to do anything with the General Tire Rebate, it would be sent to me. You actually have to contact General for the rebate.

I have a 1974 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special. Its a weird tiny low 1600-pound mid-engined fiberglass-bodied car that takes staggered-sized tires (slightly bigger ones on the rear). The car is extremely prone to wheel vibration issues if everything isnt perfect. When I resurrected the car after it had sat for 40 years, I bought cheap off-brand tires for it. Even after paying twice for wheel balancing (once for standard balancing, again for road-force balancing), the car still had a steering wheel shimmy and a chassis vibration due to the off-brand tires not being sufficiently round. I wanted to fix it once and for all by buying name-brand tires. I found that the mail order shop The Tire Rack sold Kumho Solus tires in the staggered sizes I needed (185/70/13 and 175/70/13), but I wanted to buy the tires from a local tire shop that also did road-force balancing so, if there was a problem with either the tires or the balance, I could have one vendor whose feet I could hold to the fire.I searched online and found that Hogan Tire in Waltham sold the Kumho tires and also had a road-force balancing machine. I called them and asked them if theyd meet The Tire Racks price, and they agreed, but said the tires would need to be ordered and it would take a few days. I took all four wheels off the car and brought them to Hogan, and in person explained the situation in detail, describing how important it was to me that the wheel balancing be done correctly, as this was now my third try.A day later, Joe from Hogan called me to say that the two rear wheels Id brought him were bent, and thus couldnt be balanced well enough to eliminate vibration. I went down to the shop and the technician showed me the bent wheels on the wheel-balancing machine. I took the wheels with me and brought them to another shop to get them straightened. This took a few days. In the meantime, Hogan mounted and balanced the two front wheels without problems.Once the wheels were straightened, I brought them back to Hogan, and they mounted and balanced them while I waited. I put them on the car, took it for a test drive on the highway, and to my delight, the vibration issues were completely gone.I give Hogan very high marks for meeting The Tire Racks mail-order price, having a reasonable cost for road-force balancing, and being willing to work with me on something that was not a quick in-and-out job. I appreciated that they listened to me and never pressured me to pay up and get my stack of tires out of the shop. Id use them again, and Id recommend them without hesitation.

The place have limited parking for a place that services car, the waiting time is not great, I scheduled a service for alignment the day before & I had to wait for 1h-40 minutes before they touch my car. The technician that was working on my car brought my car outside without even wearing a face mask while driving my car that is unacceptable in this pandemic period that was first & last visit to this shop.

Great Service. My tire got flat recently - punctured by a nail. Scheduled appointment quickly online for tomorrow. The tire was fixed quickly. Luckily I had a warranty, so it was free of charge.

Had a problem With tire pressure decreasing on my tire. I’m really glad I paid for the tire insurance because I knew I could take it back to hogan. Turns out my tire needed to be re-mounted on the rim because it was not seated correctly there and that was no problem for hogan to do that for me quickly and easily. My tire had become flat overnight, with it being close to the end of its life anyway, I decided to purchase the same tire. With it being Sunday, my options were limited for checking inventory, luckily Hogan had the exact tire in stock and I was able to secure an apt two days later for purchase and mounting. Quick service and a fair price for the tire and mounting etc. Im new to the area, so glad to have found a place like this. Will return in the future.

Our experience was great. We needed to switch our winter tires. They came to our home, picked up our regular tires (from our basement!), switched out the tires and brought the winter tires back to us and put them in our basement. Their price was very affordable. I had been a loyal customer of the other family tire business in town for over 20 years. The owner sold out to one of the big, multi location companies but I figured Id give that a chance. I had a flat tire and had AAA take it off, and drove straight to the tire guys. Because of Covid changes, I figured Id call on my way. He said hed take a look but Id have to leave the car. I asked if I could wait and he said it would be three hours. I asked to make an appointment to bring it back when he thought they could look at it and he said okay, lets make an appointment for Monday. They couldnt fit me in between 11 AM and 5 PM Saturday just to look at the tire and never suggested that I leave just the tire. Im a Realtor, I need my car on the weekend so I thanked him and drove straight to Hogan, again calling on my way. I was on hold for a bit, which I totally understand and actually was sitting in their parking lot when Kate came on the phone. I explained my situation and she came right out, took the tire and said shed call me when they had a chance to squeeze in a look between appointments. Within a half hour, she called back to say it was just an issue with a rusted weight breaking the seal. They had it all cleaned up, put on new weights, resealed and could pop it back on as soon as I came back. Within an hour and for the reasonable flat repair fee of $35, I was on my way and a Happy, Hogan customer. I am in the business of caring for my clients and the team at the Waltham Hogan Tire impressed me greatly. Their business is all about service both for the vehicle and the client and they get it right! Thank you all!

I purchased tires from Hogan and was informed I would receive free tire rotations for the life of the tires. I thought this was a good deal, so I went to have my regular maintenance/oil change there a few months later only because I would get the free rotation. Again, a new customer, upon checkout I confirmed the tire rotation, they told me, no they did not rotate them, its up to ME to ask for it. How was I supposed to know this without being informed? You would think with new customers, they may have the info on their computer that I recently purchased tires there and may want them rotated? Maybe Im naive, but it seems like poor costumer service not to ask a new customer thats not a motorhead if they want/need the free rotation. I was very disappointed! I returned a few times for the rotation when I was able to get there, they could not accommodate my schedule. By this time, my tires were wearing abnormally since they hadnt been rotated. I ended up having to buy new tires again in less than a year. Not a good experience. I WILL NEVER BE A CUSTOMER OF HOGAN TIRE AGAIN.

Great service! I showed up on a weekday morning a little after 8am with a leaking tire. They squeezed me in and had me out of there in less than 30 minutes! I would go back again for service!

I came in on a Monday morning with a bad tire and feared that I would not be seen for hours (if ever). I was delighted that I was seen almost immediately (thanks to a No show).In addition to having my tires replaced, I had additional work done and was presented with the additional cost prior to the work being done.I was impressed with the professionalism.

I called a week ahead to get the All said and done, out the door estimate for 4 new tires. Everything was as promised...no gimmicks or false pricing.They were great. Very fast and honest with a keurig coffee machine! nice touch. Thank you!Highly recommend.

I got 2 rear tires replaced, hopped on the highway and realized the wheels weren’t aligned because my car was pulling. I went back and argued that I shouldn’t be charged for alignment because alignment check was supposed to be included in the tire replacement. Instead, I left the shop and wasted over 2hrs driving back and waiting for the alignment to be complete but they insisted on charging me anyway. Turns out the wheel bearing also blew and my tire was loose. It was fine before I brought it there and even if it wasn’t, how was this not noticed when replaced my tires?

I woke up early with my book in hand expecting all day wait. What I got was GREAT experience. Dan and his crew immediately took my car in for service. Dan also explained to me in detail what the issue was with my vehicle.

My husband used to buy his tires here for our cars over the last 12 years because they are within walking distance of our house, so I took my vehicle in for an oil change. Instead of the synthetic oil I asked for (it is the manufacturers specification), they put in regular oil. They offered to replace it with the synthetic at full cost in addition to the full cost they already charged me for the wrong oil. The manager did not even offer an apology for their error, only said that it wouldnt hurt my vehicle. If you cant trust a shop on the little things there is no way you should even consider them for the bigger things. I didnt get angry - it would have served no purpose, but needless to say we will never again use Hogan Tire.

Price to swith and balance tire was little high!

We had a tire fixed two weeks ago by Hogan. Drove less than 100 miles and it’s still leaking. No big deal. It happens. When we bring it back, the supposed manger won’t acknowledge I’m standing at the counter. Communicating is like pulling a tooth. Gid only knows what he’s doing on the computer. He grumps at me to take a seat. For how long? Can I come back? He grumps that they close at two. Sure enough, there’s a temp sign taped to the door that summer hours are until 2pm. This isnt posted anywhere online. I have to talk to the service tech to communicate anything. So far, not good. While I loved the tech, if I relied on the manager at the counter, I would be SOL.

Took it in for low tire pressure and was told it was cold weather. Next day i had a flat tire. Took it back to get the flat fixed and was told it was a broken valve and they patched it. Few days later low tire pressure came back on. Took it to a different place and was informed the valve was never fixed and there was no trace Hogan had actually done anything. Hogan tire charged me money for no work. Not the level of service based on the reviews i read. I understand it’s MA and typically the low tire pressure lights come on in the cold but i specifically took it to a tire place believing their “expert” staff would look for what i couldnt find. I am disappointed and will not be taking my car back.

Ill start this off by saying this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had in the automotive industry. I bought 4 new tires for my GTI at a great price with a great warranty. Low and behold, the warranty came in handy not more than 5 days later when I punctured the sidewall on one of my tires while moving off the side of the road for an emergency vehicle. I brought my GTI back to Hogan Tire fully expecting the puncture to be outside of the normal boundaries of the warranty.The employees were more than helpful in ordering a replacement tire and even got the exact tire in stock the following day! It was ~95 degrees outside (and inside the open bay doors) and they honored their warranty without any BS or runaround regarding some fine print hidden in the back pages of a booklet.They replaced the tire in a timely manner while honoring their original warranty. Ive never had a more professional experience in over a decade and Im a sworn life customer. There are still good shops that exist!

This place gets it done, and done right. I have been going here for the last 3 years with my 09 xterra. The boys at the desk know what they are doing and have always given me great pricing on tires. There service plans on tires and cheap oil change prices keep me coming back. I typically do a drop off in the morning and pick it up around noon. Overall a great place to go for service of any kind. If they cant do what you need they will provide you with someone who can.

I needed two tire install and an oil change with my own oil.Made an appointment for next day 10 am, brought the car, they said 1-1:30 hr . Went back after 1:30 hrs and they just started working on the car... waited one more hour and they didnt even tell me anything..What reason is for appointment if they forget about your car.. And also they added more oil then the max recommended level...I hope it is my oil at least..Sad...

Ill never go back to this place because they sent me out on the road with finger-tight lug nuts on all 4 wheels. It would have been bad enough if it had been just me in the car, but I had my young son in the back seat. I noticed a shimmy when I went on the highway, so I dropped my speed and took the first exit. That is when I discovered that I could turn the lug nuts on all 4 wheels with my fingers. FAIL!

Ive used this tire place multiple times. They are reliable and do a good job. I trust them with my 328 and they nail the diagnosis first time every time.

This shop opens at 7:30am.. I dropped my car off at 9am appointment to have 3 tires changed. I left to get a coffee and got back at 9:30 and found my car still sitting in the parking lot and when I asked why is it not being worked on they told me because the 2 tire techs are currently not here right now. So I sit down and then I see 2 men walking up to the shop with coffees and a few min later they pull my car in and the girl comes back to me and says now theyre here and we started working on it. 30 min longer I had to wait because the employees left to get coffee when I was on time for my appointment. Ridiculous

Wasted my time ordering tires, and scheduling an appointment only for me to show up and them tell me they couldnt align my vehicle. They could have just made that clear in the beginning and we all moved on.
